Noel heard voices "is the poor dear alright" a voice said as Noel's eyes twitched slightly "Oh dear I do hope she wakes up soon" another voice said making her slowly open her eyes "oh your awake" Emilius said with a smile
Startled Noel fell off the couch that was holding her up and she hit her head on the floor "ow, ow, ow that hurts" Noel whimpered "Are you alright" Emilius said with a concerned smile on his face
Noel pinched her arm "ow" she said "why did you pinch yourself?" Emilius said confused "just making sure I'm not dreaming" Noel said before freaking out
"Am I in purgatory right now this can't be real I must be dreaming" Noel said freaking out "oh are you ok dear wife" Emilius said hearing this made Noel freeze in shock "ah...what did you just call me" Noel said
"Oh you should have heard yourself you said your vows so perfectly I was ecstatic" Emilius said making Noel "this can't be real it has to be a dream I can't be married to a Corpse" Noel said freaking out
This made Emilius flinch when ge heard her say this "is my soulmate not happy to be married to me" Emilius said with a sad look on his face "no I dread marriage and finding you makes it even worse" Noel said ruffling her hair in frustration as she runs away
"Oh..." Emilius whimpered as he felt his undead heart break then a hand grabbed his shoulder "I'll go talk to her don't worry about it for now she's just in shock" the figure said with orange flaming hair
Noel was in shock "this can't be happening I wasn't really expecting to find a Corpse even worse it's my soulmate why did this have to happen" Noel said freaking out not realizing a figure stood behind her
Noel heard a familiar chuckle behind her "you always were one for theatrics" Noel turned around and she looked shocked seeing her dead...well undead brother Haru
"Hey Noel...aren't you going to hug your big brother" Haru said holding his arms out for a hug Noel immediately ran to hug her brother as he hugged her back
"You stupid idiot I hate you why did you get tricked by such a seductress" Noel said as Haru expected this "your scolding me now I feel hurt" Haru said with a smile on his face meaning he didn't take it to heart
"It's my bad I didn't know she would cheat on our wedding night and murder me just to get my personal savings" Haru said with a sigh "but must you blame me for not knowing I was blindly in love" Haru said
"Why did you have to die it could have been prevented" Noel said as she hit his chest making him groan "none of us mean to die...neither did Emilius, your soulmate he was tricked just like I was it's not his fault Noel don't get mad at him for dying" Haru said
"But...' Noel said looking away "come on now I know your soft by heart there's no way you meant what you said your just scared of meeting your soulmate so unexpectedly like this" Haru said calling her out on this
"..." Noel stood silently "I know he's not perfect but he's not a bad guy...he's actually very passionate and he's been waiting to meet you for a long time" Haru said with a smile on his face
Noel bit her bottom lip in deep thought and then she sighed "fine...I'll give him a chance" Noel said as Haru smiled gently "I'm sure he'll like that your giving him a chance" Haru said
"But if he betrays me..." Haru quickly cut her off "I sincerely doubt that will happen since I know him personally and he's an innocent man through and through" Haru said as he pulls her back to Emilius who was sitting on a bench nearby
When he looked up and saw Noel he immediately went up to her "I'm sorry to have startled you my dear wife I hope you can forgive me" Emilius said "um..." Noel awkwardly looked at him
"Emilius...but you can call me Emil if you want" Emilius said with a smile on his face "why...why are you so happy...I literally said mean things to you...and we didn't have a proper marriage so don't call me wife" Noel said hiding her blush
Haru chuckled "by the way is Theo with you?" Haru said curiously "no he's still in the overworld" Noel said "ooooo can I meet my new brother-in-law" Emilius said excitedly
Haru chuckled "let's go see elder gutknecht I'm sure he has something that can get us to the surface" Haru said as they walked to the elder
