"WE'RE SECOND?!" Sting said in deep rage and confusion as they all walked out.
"It would seem so?" Rouge said also confused the crowd finally catching on.
'We're second?!' Jura thought to himself in disbelief glancing around in fear thinking the guild master was going to pop up at anytime.
Yukino also had a very confused look on her face.
"HAH! Not so hot now huh?" Natsu said with a shit eating grin on his face.
"Natsu" Gray said shaking his head though any could tell the smile he was wearing.
"Heh?!" Sting said turning his head a vein throbbing clenching his fist.
Just as he was about to blow his lid he was interrupted.
"And who's this!?! I've never even heard of them before! Its there first time in the Grand Magic Games yet they're going for gold! Give it up for the Maurders Of Night! RavenTail!" The anouncer said.
"Makarov." Mavis said uncharacteristically serious.
'Such condensed magic power in a child. This kind of thing should only be in long lived beings who's body can no longer contain their magic!' Mavis thought her eyes focused on the child in intrigue .
"I know First Master." Makarov said his eyes also looking in attentiveness. Though his thoughts were a bit away from the child.
'Ivan! In the time I was gone he was able to find such a dangerous child as a guild member who knows what destruction he wrought with this power. I should have dealt with him before hand!' Makarov thought gritting his teeth.
'And how was this able to fly under Gajeel's spying?! Was Ivan onto us?' A bit panicked Makarov bent the railing with a bit too much strength.
"Master aren't they?" Levi said warily looking at the hand unable to sense the power.
Tilting his head Makarov narrowed his eyes trying to understand what she was implying before he quickly shot up.
"WHAT IS A DARK GUILD DOING HERE!"
"Tch!" Laxus said kissing his teeth at hearing who it was.
'This eyesore really can't take a hint huh?'
"Laxus isn't that?!" Mirajane said her eyes wide.
'They're allowing him to compete? I thought master said he was a dark wizard?'
"Who?" Juvia said tilting her head in confusion.
"My shitty old mans guild." Laxus said seriously as he scanned all the members nodding in confirmation before he stopped on the kid looking at him in confusion.
'Master told me all about dad's guild but he never said anything about a kid like this? Did he not know?'
'That child will be a problem. How did he fly under the radar so long that even the magic council didn't know about him?' Jellal skeptically thought to himself glancing at Jura.
"Hmm!" Ezra said as she able to barely grasp the presence though that was enough.
'That's some serious pressure there. Even though I can barely feel it, it's definitely stronger than Hades.' Ezra though narrowing her eyes.
'Good thing I'm far stronger from that time n-not that i want to beat up a kid of course!'
"Hah?! They don't look very strong?" Natsu said sighing shaking his head in confusion at how they lost to such weaklings.
'I was just getting fired up too!'
Lucy said nothing looking at the kid feeling a strange familiar feeling but she still couldn't pinpoint it.
Gray on the other hand was glancing at the S class mages who obviously saw something they didn't.
"You may just be wrong flame for brains."
"Hah?! Whadya say to me stripper!"
'It's not a perfect indicator of strength but indeed such dense magic isn't common at all'Jura thought glancing at the approaching team in silence.
Smirking he said " This will be intresting."
getting confused looks from the rest of his team.
Everyone watched as the First place guild came into position the S-Classes finally not feeling the magic power when they came to a stop.
'Hmm? Why's that brat coming towards me like that?' Laxus thought in confusion as he continued the silent stare down with a pair of blue eyes filled with a bit of malice approaching slowly.
The tension built with every step as the weaker members of Fairy tail team B finally felt the power as it came closer their knees buckling.
"Laxus?" Mira thought shaking a bit looking at the kid in confusion Juvia doing the same.
Laxus spreading out his magic power to counteract the effect didn't take a back step as he bent his head a bit to keep eye contact with the kid hands folded across his chest.
'Heh?' He thought with a raised when he saw a goofy smile break out on the kid's face the malice replaced with a deep impishness only seen on kids.
"Hey bro I'm gonna kick your ass y'know!" Naruto said shouting poking him in the chest with his finger as the declaration echoed into the magical screens.
"...Huh?"
"Well that was quite the entrance! It would seem the first place has some history with Fiore's ex number 1 guild!" the anouncer said the crowd shaking as they heard the cute declaration.
"That's right young man get him!"
"Show him what you're made of kid!"
"So cute!"
"That's a REAL MAN!"
"Elf Man!"
"Sorry."
"Heh~" Mavis said smilling seeing the little display.
"It would seem he'd fit right in with our rag tag bunch neh Makarov? " Mavis said hinting giggling when she heard Ezra scolding Natsu for wanting to beat the kid up through the screen.
Stroking his beard with a smile on his face. nodding he frowned a bit seeing the kid seemingly be scolded for the mischievous act .
"That sounds very good idea First but it'd seem we have quite the obstacles." He said grunting.
"Indeed" Mavis said glancing at the crew that oozed malicious energy.
'Hmmm?' Mavis thought glancing quickly bewtween Makarov, Ivan, Laxus and the unamed kid.
'I feel like I'm missing something here.' She thought to herself hearing the anouncer talk about the match up.
"Well Ladies and gentlemen! The match we've all been waiting for the battle bewtween Laxus Dreyar!" he stopped building anticipation waiting for Laxus to get in the arena.
"And this may come to a shock to many of you!"
'Hmm?' Mirajane said raising a eyebrow in confusion at the statement.
"Naruto Dreyar! A battle between family?!" he finished dropping the nuke.
"Huh?!" Mirajane said with wide eyes Juvia, Gajeel and Jellal following.
"Brother?! " She said standing seeing the devil like smile that spread throughout the kids face and the shock on Laxus'.
"But? But?"
'That's impossible! There's no way I wouldn't know Ivan had something like that there!'Gajeel though quickly.
"Juvia doesn't understand. Laxus had a brother?" She said in confusion.
They weren't the only ones confused.
Ezra blinked after hearing it glancing at the other wondering if they heard the same?
"Laxus has a brother!" Natsu said uncomprehending.
"Maybe it's a cousin?" Lucy said being the voice of reason.
'I mean they didn't really say they were brothers right?'
"That could be true but..." Gray said trailing off as he looked bewtween Ivan's wide smile and the kid.
"I'm more suprised the guild master didn't know." Ezra said shaking her head in confusion.
"Ara." Mavis said suprised glancing down at the kid and Laxus.
'So Yuri has another descendant that's great!'
"Makarov?" She said looking at him in confusion seeing his frozen face.
'I was barely able to get Laxus away from Ivan's influence and you're telling me he had another kid?! Who knows the foolishness he put in his head?!'
"It would seem we have technical difficulties?!" The anouncer said as the magical screens were broken for 5 minutes for some reason.
"There we go! Seems nothing has happened as yet! Then fighters get ready to engage in mortal combat!"
" Ready? Set. Fight!" Naruto heard the gong before he quickly kicked back barely dodging a speedy punch.
"Spirit Magic Summoning Kurama! Matatabi!" He said as intense concentrated blue flames protected him from a lightning enhanced punch as he summoned a minature nine tailed fox and a blue cat made of flames.
'Sorry Guys! No time to talk!'
"Spirit Takeover Fusion Azure Kitsune!" He said fusing both souls seamlessly transforming without delay performing a never before seen feat.
Immediately tensing his feet he quickly launched at Laxus dropping kicking him into a wall.
'He's gotten alot faster. He's gotten physically stronger than me too!' Laxus thought breaking out of the wall.
"How about you try this on for size brat!" He said immediately swiping his hand across creating magic circles sending massive arcs of lightning towards the pursuing kid.
'Crap.' Naruto thought back peddling weaving away in zigzags keeping his eye on the real threat.
"He can form lightning right above me!" Naruto said astonished his ears twitching as his senses warned him of the magic forming above him.
He was barely able to keep a eye on him as he was dancing like a monkey dodging the rapid assault.
Blinking for less than half a second he was suprised when Laxus somehow left his enhanced range of sight.
'Over here kid!' Laxus thought turning his body into lightning to quickly maneuver himself into his blind spot throwing a fist down at his head.
'Hmpf!' Naruto thought as he quickly used his cat like reflexes to turn and meet the blow behind him with a flame enhanced kick the two clashing magics blowing each other away as Naruto cartwheeled into a steady position.
"Blue Flame Magic: Spiraling Rage!" Naruto said immediately kicking off as a massive storm of flames covered him for a split second condensing them into his hand before he threw it .
'Can't let that hit me!' Laxus thought as he readied his own magic.
"Lightning Dragons Roar!" He said as the 2 magics clashed causing a massive explosion as dust kicked up.
"You can't catch me of guard that easy!" Laxus said immediately turning around following the sounds releasing lightning to protect himself.
'What!' He thought seeing the kid's changed form 5 white tails swaying behind him.
"Steam Magic! Kokuōs Stampede!" Naruto said as he grit his teeth in pain at the electricity before his fist touched Laxus.
A massive crater formed for over half the arena as Laxus was launched into the earth a huge hole forming.
'Is it done? ' He thought his inexperience getting the better of him peeking into the hole.
"Lightning Dragon's Breakdown Fist" was all he heard as a massive lighting bolt shot out impacting his chest as he shot into the sky.
Nearly fainting at the immense pain he caught himself mid air before grunting out "Spirit Magic Switch Saiken!" He said as he quickly summoned and fused with him forming multipe large bubbles around himself defending from the onslaught of lightning he predicted would attack him as he gently flew down seeing Laxus walk out of the hole.
"You really dont want to loss huh!?" Lauxs said breathing heavy his shirt ripped.
'I can't take much more of those punches. That was a dangerous amount of force if I didn't brace myself...' Laxus thought seriously feeling the heat emanate on his chest his ribs aching.
'Not only that, a lot of the magic power was scattered after he got hit with my lightning cloak, meaning it's much stronger than what I got!' Laxus analyzed.
"Bubble Magic Saiken's Parade!" Naruto said ignoring him knowing the stakes as he shot a massive amount of bubbles blotting the sky.
Fururowing his brow Laxus used his lightning magic to quickly pop each one his eyebrows rising at the massive explosions they generated.
Naruto seeing it immediately swung his hands down commanding them to fall as more than half were left a catastrophic explosion ringing out shaking the entire ring.
"Laxus!" Wendy heard Ezra shout in worry as they looked down at the battle of epic proportions in deep worry.
'They've ripped apart the entire arena in seconds!'
" It would seem Fairy Tails powerhouse Laxus Dreyar is out of the fight!? To think such a small kid could cause so much destruction! Should I say as expected of a Raven Tail Mage or Fiore's Little Titan the name bestowed upon him by the crowd?!" The anouncer said after being quiet for a while the battle being too engaging and moving way to fast for him to even comment on anything.
'So strong!' Wendy thought suffocating a bit at the thought of someone her age taking on laxus in anything resembling a equal battle.
Clenching her fist at her own powerlessness remebering the state she was in a while ago she said nothing watching the dust settle down.
Feeling a hand on her shoulder she looked up at Lucy grateful as they focused on the battle.
'Spirit Magic? What on earth is that?' Lucy thought as she resolved to ask her own celestial spirits later.
"Mmm" Mavis hummed looking at the intense battle.
"This will be a tough one Makarov " she said, glancing at him in worry his face was set in stone ever since the child's name announcement before she turned back to the battle.
Makarov said nothing as he looked down at the arena in worry not even understanding what he should feel at the moment.
Spitting out some blood Laxus said nothing as he looked up in the sky at the dumbfounded kid.
"Huh. You really survived that? No one's lived after taking that one head on before! Nii-San you're really cool!" Naruto said throwing out a thumbs up.
"Heh. What kind of older brother would I be if I got beaten by my younger brother?" He said feeling the kid loosen up.
'He has killed people?' Laxus thought glaring over to Raven Tail in anger clenching his fist.
Naruto scratched his head hearing that feeling the tip of his ears burning at the unfamiliar feeling not knowing what to do.
'He acknowledges me as his brother?'
"Don't get all soft on me kid! You know what's at stake here! Fight with your life on the line I'm not going easy on you anymore!" Laxus said no longer restricting himself knowing the kid could handle him at full power.
Sheer instinct allowed Naruto pop all his bubbles exploding them as they sent Laxus back to the ground somehow already behind him in the air.
'Close I need to keep my head in the game!' Naruto thought as he conjured another bubble protection along with a massive bubble sending it down to the shattered arena.
"Lightning Dragon's Heavenward Halberd!" Laxus said popping it immediately not letting it anywhere near him .
"Hmm! Acid?! What can't this kid do?" Laxus said smiling wildly scattering the sea of acid aside with 2 well positioned roars.
Glancing to the side he batted away the furry lava covered fist throwing the kid to the side avoiding the heat.
'?' He tried moving to pursue but saw his body up to his chest covered in corals?
Glancing wide eyed at the minature turtle creature he could only watch as the kid now sporting those 5 tails again, his fist steam covered and cocked back hit him sqaure in the stomach destroying the corals.
'Shit!' He thought as he was flung into a pillar completely shattering it.
Naruto learning from his mistakes switched out " Spirit Magic Summoning Matatabi Shukaku!"
"Spirit Takeover Fusion Flaming Tanuki!" He said taking on a mixture of both spirits forms.
'We got this guys! Let's work together! '
"Unison Raid Hell Fire Tatsumaki!" He said immediately conjuring a massive tornado of blue flames controlled by wind ripping apart everything on sight.
"Shit!" Laxus said as he felt he was pulled being pulled into it.
Knowing it was over if he got caught into it he poured a massive amount of magic power as he bellowed "Lightning Dragon's Roar" directly impacting the ground the tornado was on dispelling it.
Before he did however Naruto was already moving after covering his fist in flames sending fire balls towards him as he nimbly avoided the destroyed surroundings.
Shielding himself Laxus took cover as the fire nearly burnt through his aura.
'Shit this brat is wearing me down. I can feel some drain on my magic while he still looks as lively as he did from the start.' Laxus thought quickly.
'I need to end this now! Overpowering him quickly will do it but how! Even if I go beyond my limits he still be able to fight back! I need something anything!' he thought bitting his lips as blood flowed.
Tasting the metal like taste his eyes widened. ' That's it!' He thought to himself.
"He isn't coming out?" Naruto said furrowing his brows.
"Lets force him out then turn up the heat Matatabi!" Naruto said he gained a blue cloak of flames powering it up massively with his magic power as the surroundings slowly melted.
'Lets see how you escape this bro!' He thought to himself smiling wide at his playmate.
"What's that?" Naruto said his eyes opening wide seeing a massive pillar of red lightning.
"Ack!" Naruto grunted as he was punted into a wall.
"???" He looked up in confusion as saw a bolt of energy directly infront of him.
"Shukaku!" Naruto shouted as the Tanuki separated taking the blow for him as he quickly escaped.
"Spirit Magic Summoning Chōmei! Kokuō!" He said quickly dismising Matatabi before fusing with them.
Flying up he quickly tried to find Laxus before he felt a heavy kick to the back.
Gritting his teeth as he got up from the ground he looked around losing sight again only catching sight of red lightning.
"Enough!" Naruto said immediately dispelling scale powder blinding everything sight.
"There!" He said with his eyes closed as he heard the shout of pain as he coated both of his fist in steam.
"Steam Magic Pressure Barrage" Naruto said opening his eyes as targeted Laxus throwing out a massive amount of punches.
As the fist clashed against each other Naruto realised he was slowly being pushed back the red lightning clearly powering up Laxus massively.
"Steam Magic Pressure Bomb!" Naruto said as he combusted on the spot taking up both himself and Laxus in the move.
Getting up slowly Naruto looked around feeling the ache in his body.
"You're really one tough kid." Laxus said standing in front of him feeling the toll of the battle on him.
'Just a bit more in the tank to end this.' Laxus thought.
'D-dammit I need to fuse with Kuruma quickly to heal fas-' was as far as Naruto got before he heard the last thing he'd hear today.
"Megaton: Red Lightning"
"Wah!" Naruto said getting up quickly as he looked around alert.
"Huh where am I?" He said in confusion.
"Wasn't I fighting Laxus just now why's it night time?!" He said looking out the window.
"Oh. I lost." He said to himself looking at the bandages on his body feeling the aches now.
'Man! That sucks! I tried really hard too! Didn't even get to use my super secret cool secret art!' He thought pouting as he laid back down on the on the soft bed.
Blinking at the snoring he looked down to see a girl with blue hair at the corner of his bed.
'Eh who da heck is this?' He said looking around.
'Oh is that Nii San?!' He said getting out of the bed limping over to the next one.
"Heh I really kicked your ass huh?" Naruto said grinning seeing even more bandges covering his body.
"You're really strong, though. Nothing like Ivan said ." Naruto said looking at him.
"Where is Ivan?" Naruto said confused before shaking his head looking towards the yawn he heard.
"Ehehe Grandeeny~" Wendy said waking up blearily.
Looking around in confusion she blinked seeing the bed empty before she shot up panicking.
'Oh no! I'm supposed to be protecting him and he got away!' She thought immediately getting up about to run.
"Neh neh. Where are you going?" Naruto said tilting his head looking at her.
Freezing she looked at him breathing a sigh of relief slumping down saying " Thank goodness."
Wendy calming down a bit, heart rate shot up again remembering who it was that was awake.
Looking at him nervous she said "A-are you all right?" in sympathy.
'It must be hard for him!' She thought sadly.
"Huh whadya mean? " Naruto said tilting his head.
"...Ah I forgot you were asleep so you probably don't know" she said her voice getting smaller.
At his inquiring look she barely squeaked out " Your guild was caught cheating after your match with Laxus and now Raven Tail is dissolved and kicked from the competition. " She said hunching her shoulders anticipating the anger.
Looking at his arm Naruto saw she was right. His guild mark disappeared.
"Oh." Naruto said shrugging looking at her in confusion as if saying 'That's all?'
"You're not mad? Your guild was broken up!" Wendy said standing not understanding the nonchalant attitude looking at him with wide eyes.
'How could you not feel anything about that?!'
'What a weirdo' Naruto thought leaning away from the intense shout.
"Not like I really liked them all that much so why would it matter?" Naruto said blinking confused.
'They were never all that nice to me so who cares what happened?'
"Why would it matter?!" Wendy said in disbelief.
"Ughh." Laxus said as he woke up from the noise.
Looking towards the source he saw a guilty looking Wendy and a happy Naruto.
"Brat." Laxus said in deadpan tone looking at the energetic kid who clearly was nearly in perfect shape again.
'This kid will be the end of me' He thought looking in that smug face.
"Hey Bro." Naruto said smilling.
"Did you hear my guild got dissolved!" Naruto said happily ignoring the squawk of indignation from blue haired munchkin.
Laxus raising a brow nodded after thinking about it a bit. 'Well Dad was stupid enough to try interrogate me right after the match ended. What did he expect was going to happen?'
"I see. So brat where are you thinking of going now?" Laxus said seriously.
"...I know don't really. Was never let outside much." Naruto said shrugging scratching his nose.
"Maybe I'll travel a bit?" He said though it was clear to both he was completely unsure.
Laxus closed his eyes a bit before suggesting " You can join our guild. " getting wide eyes from Wendy.
"Eh? No thanks. Sounds lame." Naruto said digging in his nose.
"Huh!" both Wendy and Laxus said in shock.
"Oi oi oi. I'm lowering my self asking you to join and you're rejecting me?" Laxus said wishing he could move so he could show this kid some good old family 'Love'.
"Eh well I mean I don't know I think I'd rather be by myself~" Naruto said mischievously glancing at his fingernails in a snobbish manner.
Laxus eye twitching said nothing quickly thinking of a way to get him to join.
'I nearly forgot!'
"Hey brat you didn't forget our bet did you?" Laxus said a evil smile growing on his face.
Freezing Naruto said nothing.
Smilling like a cat that caught the canary Laxus said " Since I won that match you'll have to grant my request. And I order you to join Fairy Tail!" He finished smug closing his eyes. Though they shot open a minute later.
"Okay! Sure!" Naruto said smilling impishly.
'Wait a minute. He tricked me!' Laxus thought incredulous.
"Why you little!" He said weakly as he went back to sleep the tiredness catching up.
'Heh! You think I was going to let a chance to get out of that bet go free? Not a chance!' Naruto thought to himself.
Looking at the girl who was clearly wanting to give them space he said." Oi what's your name shrimpy?"
'So crass?!' Wendy thought her eye twitching as she got over her fear of him seeing him interact with Laxus.
Breathing in deeply she straightened her back and flared her magic power before saying "I'm Wendy Marvell and you should remember it because I'm your new rival!" barely squeaking out the end as she deflated her temporary courage leaving her as her face reddened in deep embarrassment.
'What am I saying?!' She thought panicking.
"...Huh?"
This was my first attempt at writting a fight scene when I made this account.
Decided to try make it readable. Don't question too much.
As you can see many things got handwaved away to make this match happen.
Could not! Be bothered rewriting that entire tournament to get here.
