Will they ever be able to have a "normal" life together? Can Jo forget her past and allow herself to fall in love? Is it true? Is love a basic necessity?

Set directly after s3-e15 Daryl wanders back to The Prison and grieves in Merle's cell while crying into one of his brother's shirts.

I knew that Daryl would survive the disease. He was going to make it however long the world was in peril. As I watched him go, I wondered about my own fate. I didn't know how to hunt or shoot a gun. I had never been in a position where I had to survive with only the clothes on my back and a knife. "Wait." I said, walking after him. He turned. "Just in case I don't see you again."
