"Come on. We need to hurry. Damien's probably already gotten into Heaven by…what the…" Jexi said, noticing the long line of people.

"Who are these people?" David asked.

"They're the recently deceased, waiting for their turn to get into Heaven." J-Hack said.

"Quite a few of them, eh?" Eugene Hartwin remarked. "Ah, but don't worry, they'll all be in eventually!"

"Not likely, since some line cutter went and killed the angel manning the gate." one guy said.

"Damien…damn it, he's already gotten into Heaven." Jexi said. "We need to…" he said as the people formed a wall. "Uh…what are you guys doing?"

"We…don't know." a woman said.

"I'm afraid they can't help it." Makima said as she approached down the road. "I have complete control of them."

"The Control Devil…" J-Hack said.

"If you're trying to get to Damien, he's already making his way to the palace. As for me, he has no further use to me unfortunately." Makima said.

"Then why are you still here?" David asked. "You wouldn't be standing here if you didn't have anything of value."

"Quite right. I want to make a deal. How would you all feel…if I killed Damien right here and now?" Makima asked.

"Really? You'd stab Damien in the back and take him out for us, and we wouldn't even have to lift a finger, no questions asked, no strings attached?" Ragna said.

"Don't act like a fool. I may appear human, but I'm still a Devil. That is not how deals work. You get something you desire, I get something I desire." Makima said.

"Okay, so lets say we do take your deal. You take out Damien for us, what do you get in return?" Alphen asked.

"I want…Chainsaw Man." Makima said.

"What? Why him?" Jexi asked.

"He's my insurance against my other sisters. War is already bonded to a human and gaining power. Famine is already loose in the Demon Universe as well. The only one still in Hell…is Death. I need him to make things better for myself and the world." Makima said.

"You're crazy. He's still fighting the other daemons with some of the others in the Demon Universe. We can't just turn him over." Dan said.

"Hmm…is that so? Cause if that's the case, I should point out I have control over the daemon spellcasters and the Changer." Makima said. "With a single command, I can have New World flooded with Daemons with your unsuspecting friends, family and innocents slaughtered right there and then."

"So you're saying unless we want our family and friends in danger of being killed by you, we have no other choice but to take your deal?"

"In a nutshell, yes. I am the Control Devil, the fear of control and conquest. I always seek to dominate." Makima said. "I did the same with the yakuza a while back. Plucked the left eyeballs of all their relatives just to get them to sell out their men."

"You really are a heartless bitch." David said.

"I really am. So…what will it be? Hand over Chainsaw Man and see Damien stopped? Or…keep Chainsaw Man and watch your loved ones be slaughtered?" Makima asked.

The heroes were in a deadlock. Makima basically just gave them an ultimatum: Denji, or their loved ones' lives. She had all the cards, and either choice for them would be bad either way.

Ace pulled out Breidablik and aimed it at Makima.

"Ace… think about this." Hope said. "You pull that trigger, she sics her pets on New World."

"But we can't just give Denji up, Hope. Even if he's a complete dumbass." Ace said.

"You would really doom your friends, loved ones and family? Oh, how heartless of you." Makima teased.

"Even if you did sic the Chaos Demons on the people there, we have allies we can count on to protect them." Ace said.

"You put way too much faith in those allies. The Warp is endless. You can't stop it once it starts." Makima said. "Even now, the allies you have in Devaloka and Hell are likely losing steam to the endless soldiers coming from the Warp as we speak."

"One more question…why Denji? Why do you care for him?" Jexi asked.

"Him? I only want Chainsaw Man. The Hero of Hell himself." Makima said.

"Pretty high praise considering he's the guy who killed you."

"I'm praising the Chainsaw Devil, not the human. You honestly have no idea how powerful the Chainsaw Devil really is, do you?" Makima said. "Tell me, are you familiar with these terms? World War II? Nazism? AIDS?"

"Uh…yeah?" Hope asked.

"Well…our world doesn't. Cause those things…were erased from the history there." Makima said.

"Are you saying The Chainsaw Devil can…" Jexi said.

"Yes. What she says is true. The Chainsaw Devil can eat other devils and erase the concepts they represent." J-Hack said. "That's why he's so feared by demons and devils."

"I get it. If the Chainsaw Devil eats the other 3 members of the Four Horsemen, then… poof!" Entrapta said. "War, Famine, Death, all the things they're attached to, gone! Because once the Chainsaw Devil eats them, there won't be any more wars, world hunger, or death from basically anything."

"That's right. All the pain, sadness, and negativity in the Multiverse can be taken away if the Chainsaw Devil has his fill of my sisters. And when you think about it, isn't that just what you heroes want? What you want, Jexi? A world without needless violence? Where fights don't end in bloodshed?" Makima said. "It's such an easy answer. Just…let me…take him."

"...No….deal." Jexi uttered. "While it's true this would accomplish my dream, this would also put you in a position to take control of us for life. So the answer is no."

"What a shame. Oh well….you made your choices." Makima said. "The casting has begun to portal Daemons to New World." she said as she saw the group preparing to fight. "You're really going to try and fight me? I can promise you, it won't end well for any of you."

"That's what they all say." Mark said darkly. "They're all dead now."

"Besides, we were gonna say the same thing to you." Ace added.

"Confident, strong, and idiotic," Makima said with a sigh as the people she was controlled linked up. "This is going to end with your deaths. It's a shame, but it was likely to be the only way. I'll have to take the Chainsaw Devil by force then."

(Cue- Blados & Chalis Battle- Golden Sun: Dark Dawn)

Makima's controlled slaves then attacked the group head-on, as they fought to subdue them while Makima attacked with her finger gun from afar.

"All you had to do was hand the Chainsaw Devil over, and this war would be finished for you. Instead, you do what you always do and resort to forcing your way through." Makima said.

"We didn't get to where we are by having other people do our jobs for us." Hope said.

"He's right. You'll never get anywhere if you live by having others do everything for you. You have to forge your path on your own!" David said.

"Spare me the speeches. I don't understand what you're saying anyway." Makima said.

"Don't sweat it. We don't want to be understood. You are only acting the way you are because you gave up on living altogether." David said. "You were given a second chance at life, and you're wasting it on people who don't even care whether you live or die."

"Oh really?" Makima asked, firing another round of her finger gun as everyone avoided it. "Well let me ask you this, why do you think Damien brought me back and into his Cabinet?"

"Probably because he needed someone powerful at his side, a Devil with ambition that matches his that reaped the benefits of the world he'd created, even if it meant stabbing him in the back after he was done," Hope said. "And I think Damien knew the same thing. You think he wouldn't have folded you into his Cabinet if he didn't know you had ulterior motives yourself?"

"I think you're just gullible, just like he is. He's a child in an adult body, who never got to grow up and thinks they're always in the right. Easy to manipulate, until the point where they begin to get out of their depth." Makima said. "After he resurrected me inside this body thanks to the power of the Chaos Gods, it was easy to get on his good side without knowing what I was really after."

"(This body? So Denji was right.)" Hope thought. "Guys, do you remember during the start of the demon election when Denji said Makima wasn't the current one?" he asked while disabling a controlled slave.

"Yeah, it was his adopted sister, Nayuta." Simon said. "So that's it. Makima's using Nayuta's body as her own."

"You're right in a way. I've overwritten my reincarnation and been reborn anew." Makima said. "I thought I could use Damien as a way to achieve what I desired, but he's too lost in that stupid religious mindset to be of any use to me. That's why I need Chainsaw Man."

"Trading one pawn for another. That sound about right?" Jexi asked.

"Pretty much." Makima said as Jexi beat through a number of the slaves. "Yet still, you went and sacrificed all your friends and family just for one idiot. He's not even worth saving. He could have saved the Blood Fiend, but he killed her. Could have saved his friend from his transformation into a fiend, but killed him too. He even killed his own father. Whatever happiness he has, I'll rip it away from him. He doesn't deserve to know a peaceful life!"

"Shut the hell up!" Mark yelled. "All you're saying is nonsense! Of course he's worth saving! Cause nobody…was born to be miserable and alone! Not us! Not Denji! Not even you!"

"And that is just more proof….as to why you humans are doomed to die out." Makima smiled. "You care way too much for the enemy, even when the lives of others hang in the balance."

"So what?" David asked. "That is the way we decide to live. I can't stand people like you who act like they know all the answers. We maintain the peace of the multiverse with the help of hundreds of thousands of people, while also carrying the wills of our friends who are no longer with us."

"Ah…is that so? Well…what if I cut down all those friends of yours right here and now then?" Makima asked. "Who would be the best to break you down? Hmm…oh….that girl you love. It was…Sectonia wasn't it?"

"Are you done barking?" David asked.

"Barking? I think you're mistaken…about what you're really up against." Makima said before they all heard a gushing sound as they looked to Entrapta and Sunset who were in the background as their bodies gushed blood before collapsing.

"No!" Jexi called out. "I see now…it's not just people you can control."

"I can control a number of things. Even manipulate the forces themselves." Makima said. "Unlike the others, I don't make idle threats, I actually follow through with what I promise."

"They…didn't even have anything to do with this fight." Jexi said.

"Doesn't matter…you all will be crushed either way." Makima said.

"There is…an exception though…" a voice said before a loud revving was heard.

"Denji…?" Mark realized.

"You can't crush them…if you're crushed first!" a voice called out as Chainsaw Man emerged from the clouds below and cleaved right into Makima's right side, severing her arm in the process. "Aw, no time to make another immortality contract?"

"You? But…you should have still been in Hell!" Makima growled.

"I hitched a ride on a Crusade ship and jumped on for the ride to Heaven!" Denji said as he jumped back.

"Denji…it doesn't have to be like this. Let us go and…." Makima started as her left arm was severed next.

"You think I'm that stupid? Sorry, you may have been number 1 back then…but…I'm completely over you now." Denji said.

"Denji, you'll regret this. If you kill me…" Makima began.

"And I get Nayuta back right? That's how Devils work after all." Denji said. "So hurry up and die so I can get her back!"

Makima was no longer smiling, only scowling right at him before she got the slaves to form a wall as she ran in the other direction.

"Hey! Get back…" Hope said.

"Let her go. She's not the main concern right now." Jexi said. "Besides, looks like we're heading for the same place anyway."

"Yeah…so let's push forward…straight to the palace of Heaven!" Denji called out.

Inside of Heaven, a winged taxi arrived to the large angelic palace as opening the back door was Damien.

"Your stop. Palace of Heaven. Hope you have a wonderful day." the driver said as he drove off.

"Oh trust me. My day is going to be the best." Damien said as he began to proceed inside before feeling a force stopping him. "And just…what are you doing…Makima?" he asked, seeing the armless devil standing there.

"Sorry Damien…but…I'm going to need you to die now." Makima said smiling.

"Oh, do you now?" Damien asked, not a hint of concern in his voice. "Let me guess…your big brother's mad at you?"

"Shut up! That was the other Control Devil. But yes. Apparently, he's caught up to us and they're on their way here now." Makima said. "I've lost my arms…but a dose of your blood should fix that up."

"Oh, is it blood you want?" Damien smirked, pulling a vial out of his pocket. "Here…have some of Christ's!" he said, throwing the vial at her, as it shattered across her face, blinding her while Damien dashed over to her, pulling out a crucifix and stabbing her in the heart. "Major weakness of you Devils…you're so predictable." he said as he twisted his knife.

Makima stood there as she coughed up blood. "In the…end…I knew…this was doomed to fail. But…at least I'll be proud of what I'm leaving behind." Makima said. "I've set the channelers and Changer to open the Warp on New World."

"One last middle finger to the Hero Alliance, eh? So you had a little backup plan all along to make them suffer, and you never mentioned it?" Damien said.

"What can I say? I'm…full of….surprises." Makima uttered as she collapsed dead on the ground, her body beginning to change.

Horseman of Conquet - Makima

DEAD

Damien offered the corpse a genuine smile. "Guess you had some chaos in you after all. Good on you." he remarked, as he saw the group of heroes in the distance. "Well…why not give 'em one of my own?" he said as he kicked the corpse down the way, before he strolled into the palace.

Denji was ahead of the others, seeing the corpse first. "Hey, guess the Antichrist did us a favor…for…" he stopped as he realized just who the corpse was, coming to a halt over the body.

"Denji, what're you doing? We gotta keep…" Mark started before he looked at the corpse and blinked. "...That's not Makima."

The group was looking down to see a young girl lying on the ground.

"Nayuta…" Denji cried as he held her in his hands. "Nayuta…."

"Denji…" Jexi said.

"I finally got her back…only for this to happen…" Denji said as he stopped and stood tall. "It's settled…I'm going to carve up that asshole till there's nothing left."

"Guess we're gonna have to get in line, then. He wanted to make it personal. Well, two words: Wish granted." David said.

Hope pounded his fists. "He's gone too far. It's time he paid for everything he's done."

"Yeah…all the lives he's claimed from this war…he'll pay for every single one." Jexi said as they started marching towards the palace.

Meanwhile, on New World…

"They've reached Heaven now." Garterbelt said. "That asshole's gettin' real close to f***in' things up."

"But Big bro and the rest of the alliance are hot on his trail, right? They'll stop Damien before he kills Cream, I know it!" Christy said.

"They'd better. Panty and I come from the Sky Universe, and we didn't spend all our time blowing Ghosts the f*** up to buy our way to f***ing non-existence." Stocking said.

"Language, lady." Chikasu said. "And besides, as far as we know, we're the only ones that slipped out, so the others are safe. Though, looking back on it, that kind of makes us the unlucky ones."

"Indeed. If only-" Marcus started, before everyone heard a rumble and the skies of New World turned red.

"What the-?" Panty started before dozens of vortexes opened up around the displaced populations. From one of them, a man in black armor with horns on his helmet rode out on a black horse, radiating an aura of power and malice.

The man said nothing at first, watching the people, before he raised his blade. "...Kill them all."

"BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!"

Millions of daemons poured out of the vortexes, charging at the people, prepared to begin their slaughter.
