"Right… so perhaps we try to lure them into a trap of sorts like an ambush." Cedric said.

"Like Bakugou will agree with that, from the look of things he will head for Izuku mainly… in order to minimize issues, Cedric… I'll need you to trail Bakugou and aid him so he doesn't give us issues, its the smartest plan all things considered and Daniel can stick by me, most likely with you two going, Daniel and I can have a 2 on 2 fight with whoever comes away from their fight." Tenya said so he could try and make a plan that would back up everything so it would work for all.

Daniel and Cedric looked at one another before nodding their heads at Tenya.

Though all three underestimated Bakugou's thoughts right now… and this would be a big mistake on their part since things would get dramatic not only between Bakugou and Izuku… but Emerald as well in the events to come.

"Damn you Deku… making a fool of me all these years!... you had a Quirk!?" Bakugou thought with an enraged look on his face.

Meanwhile outside…

Seems Ochaco was trying to cheer a nervous Izuku up as Emerald was near the duo next to Maite.

"So… seems this will be interesting taking Cedric, Daniel, Tenya, and that Bakugou or Katsuki guy on… so Maite who do you think will give us the most trouble here in a building like setting?, I know Tenya is fast but Bakugou has those explosions… Cedric and Daniel maybe the worst people we can take right now since Daniel can do many things here and I'm not sure what his costume has to amp his Quirk, and up close Cedric will be an issue." Emerald said when he tried to think of ways by those two specifically, he could make shields and what not to block hits but going toe to toe with Cedric would be bad since he can shock anyone into submission and Daniel can work from all angles… Tenya was fast as hell, the fastest when it came to lost distance running, and Bakugou… anger aside was probably even more deadly based on the fact his Quirk was pretty damn versatile.

Maite was thoughtful for a moment.

"Well I don't know. If we somehow split, one of us may fight either Daniel or Cedric but one of them would also be working with either Tenya or Bakugou depending on who they're going after."

"Yeah, knowing Tenya, he will at least try and keep the teams even, all four of us could tag team two on two but knowing their Quirks and the mission is not necessarily one to try and fight… pretty sure we can go three on one while one of us runs ahead in a just in case scenario, I can stay behind since my Quirk isn't speedy but more creative, and if Bakugou tries to go for Izuku, more defense will be needed, I would say either you or Ochaco should run on ahead since you could force yourself through Daniel's wind Maite or keep up with Tenya momentarily, Ochaco can touch one of them and take them out of the fight since one touch, Tenya can't run and Daniel, while he could try and use his wind to fly, well… in such a small place, doubt it would be helpful." Emerald said when he gripped his chin lightly in thought.

"Well don't forget Cedric. He has those batons and his Quirk. He would know not to go overboard if necessary." Maite said.

"Why do you think I'm assuming Daniel and Tenya being with the bomb?, out of all three, in order to keep Bakugou in line, Cedric would have the highest chance since he can taze that wild beast of a blaster into submission so he doesn't rampage to get to Izuku… guy really needs to lighten up." Emerald said while he didn't like how hostile Bakugou was to Izuku.

Maite did frown a bit when Bakugou was mean to Izuku.

"You're right about that."

"Yeah… and considering the look Bakugou was giving Izuku… I want Ochaco to run to where she won't be harmed… honestly I would suggest you go with her but knowing the future number 1 Heroine, you won't leave Izuku's side to keep him safe given the… circumstances huh?" Emerald said with a smile as he not only considered Maite's protectiveness of Izuku but the fact Izuku was the holder of One for All.

Maite smirked.

"You got that right."

Emerald smiles before he kissed Maite on the cheek.

"Well try and not go too overboard in trying to keep everyone safe, I'll be around to back you or keep Bakugou out of the fight so try and keep Cedric away if you can without getting shocked by Cedric, better to get zapped then get a blast to the face… you know should have worded that last one better… damn Lillum is a bad influence." Emerald said before he blushed a bit at that last one since it was a bit worded… badly.

Maite blushes a bit after hearing that.

"Y-Yeah but I get what you mean."

"Yeah… anyway… hey Izuku, Ochaco, let's get to the building so we can start, got 30 seconds left on the timer." Emerald said when a nearby timer for the heroes to storm the base would go off.

"R-Right. No use stalling then." Izuku said but was still feeling a bit nervous.

A moment later, the bell rang for the heroes to start and the group snuck in through a window, they were trying to not be seen so Emerald mixed things up when he made a reflective shell around the group so that it looked like there was a mirror around them and it reflected the grey walls and what not, as long as they didn't stray to far from Emerald, they wouldn't be seen from a distance.

Maite and the rest were glad for that as they secretly wait for their opponents to strike.

Though what no one expected was Bakugou appearing from around the corner in the air above the group with explosions acting as propulsion while he had an enraged look in his eyes.

"YOU THINK A CHEAP TRICK LIKE THAT WILL STOP ME!" Bakugou roars as he threw his opened right hand towards the group and Emerald had to grab Maite and jump out of the way while Izuku did the same with Ochaco and as Bakugou blasts the reflective shell apart, Bakugou stands with a pissed off look on his masked face as he looks at Izuku.

"Oi… don't dodge me Deku!" Bakugou growled as Cedric ran from the corner Bakugou came from with an exasperated look on his face when Tenya was right about Bakugou going for Izuku.

'Damn! this is not good. Tenya wasn't kidding about Bakugou.' Cedric thought before he took out two of his batons.

"Bakugou! Control that anger of yours!" He said.

"Oh shut it stun gun and focus on your opponents before they can recover!... now… don't dodge this Deku!, I'll just bring you to the point that this match won't be stopped!" Bakugou growled as he charged Izuku with more rage on his face then ever, though as he took a swing at Deku, he, and many others were shocked when Izuku actually stepped into the attack and narrowly avoids it, gripped Bakugou's right arm, and threw him over his shoulder and Bakugou crashed onto the ground with a pained grunt as Izuku, shaking like a leaf, got into a poorly made combat stance slowly as Bakugou tried to get to is feet.

"Kacchan… you always lead with a big right swing… I can't count how many times I've seen you do it!... I analyzed and took notes on all the heroes I thought were amazing… including you!... The same notes you blew up and tossed away!" Izuku said while he looked Bakugou right in the eyes.

"I'm no longer the Deku you equated with a worthless Guppy… Now I'm…" Izuku said before he roars this.

"THE DEKU WHOSE VIBE IS NEVER GIVING UP!" Izuku yelled while Ochacho looked surprised as Bakugou looked more enraged then ever.

"Now I'm pissed!" Bakugou growled as the others looked on while many were surprised when Bakugou tried to attack but Emerald getting in his way with some kind of shield that Bakugou had to jump off of to not crash into.

"Oi Lightbright!, keep out of my way!" Bakugou growled as Emerald walked by Cedric calmly and he speaks to Maite.

"Maite… go with Ochako… seems Izuku and I will need to team up to take Cedric and this ass on… don't worry, given the situation, I highly doubt Cedric will give you issues since his own teammate is flying off the handle." Emerald said as he looked an enraged Bakugou square in the eyes with ice cold looking eyes as Izuku had Ochako run ahead… and sense Tenya and Daniel were not here… looks like it would be two on two in separate locations it seems.

Maite nods at Emerald.

"Okay but be careful Emerald." She said as she motions Ochako to follow though the brunette looks at Izuku.

"Good luck Izuku-kun." She said.

Izuku blushed from that while he tried to keep in control though as Bakugou tried to kick a distracted Izuku, Emerald made another shield between Izuku and Bakugou and Bakugou growls and looks at Cedric.

"Oi stungun!, why the fuck are you not doing anything!?, this is supposed to be a battle!, not a damn tea party!" Bakugou roars before he tried to attack Izuku again and when another shield was made, Emerald was surprised when Bakugou used microblasts from his hands to change his trajectory in the air and actually flew around the shield to get to Izuku which starts the fight for those two in force while Emerald narrowed his eyes and looks at Cedric since this was technically a two on two fight, anger aside Cedric couldn't exactly just back out since this was supposed to be training… besides from what Emerald saw with Izuku countering and dodging Bakugou, looks like he could hang on while Emerald has his own fight.

Cedric sighs before looking at Emerald and charges his batons before the electric Quirk user goes to attack Emerald.

Though Emerald placing his hands in his pockets did cause Cedric to stop in reflex since he knew Emerald's Quirk somewhat… anything could appear near Emerald and he didn't even need to get in any kind of stance to do so and unlike Cedric… Emerald has actual combat experience with Villain's who actually try and kill him on a daily basis… it was one thing actually watching Emerald take villain's out with ease but… facing Emerald even in a mock fight… one wrong move and Cedric would lose instantly if he slipped up.

'Fuck… I should've picked Izuku.' Cedric thought as he was now on edge while using his peripherals.

Everything was quiet for a moment aside from the occasional attack Bakugou used against Izuku, though that was the only thing while Emerald gave Cedric a serious look.

"Whats the matter?... scared?... pretty sure you won't get anywhere by backing away from me." Emerald said when he tried to get Cedric to attack him.

Cedric frowns at Emerald.

"Fuck it. If I go down… I'm gonna try and take you with me." He said before he yells as he starts charging at Emerald.

Cedric even used his Quirk a bit to give him a bit of boost to his feet.

Though while it did cause Emerald to smirk, a baton of light appeared and it blocked Cedric's hit… though instead of Cedrina… Cedric… was facing… himself when Emerald made a pretty detailed light double of him.

"Might as well make this interesting and see if you can overcome yourself to get to me." Emerald said with a grin as he made a double of Cedrina and looks at the light construct.

"Go back Izuku and make sure Bakugou doesn't do anything stupid." Emerald ordered while he keeps his eyes on Cedric.

The Cedrina double chuckle.

"Sure thing Emerald. Hopefully I'll get a nice reward with my future hubby." She said before she went to aid Izuku.

Emerald chuckles from that and he looks at the Cedric double and Cedric.

"Not sure if I should say this but again, not quite my control on the personality since it seems to mix Cedrina and part of Lillum's flirty side so sorry if that caught you two off guard." Emerald said to Cedric and his double.

The duo comically gave Emerald a half lidded look.

"Oh really/Oh really." They said in unison.

Emerald got a tick mark on his head before he facepalms.

"Oh just fight already." Emerald said when he sent the command for the double of Cedric to follow and he charged the real Cedric with two Baton's at the ready.

"Sorry about this but can't ignore a command!" The Light Cedric said as he attacked Cedric who had to block various hits from his double… in any other situation this would be weird but given how Cedric was used to seeing doubles… not so much… besides this could be great training if Emerald made this guy exactly like him battlewise as well… could iron out some kinks in his costume or style.

"Y-Yeah… Already knew that!" Cedric grunts as he kept blocking the double's attacks before Cedric tries to kick the double's shin.

The double however jumped and tried to Ax kick Cedric and he was forced to jump back to avoid the attack, and as Emerald looked on, the scene went to Izuku as he was fighting Bakugou and as the battle went on, Bakugou was slowly making headway with him and during the fight, Izuku tripped on some debris and Bakugou grins as he tried to attack Izuku though a light double of Cedrina surprised Izuku when she kicked Bakugou on the side and down a hall before she lands next to Izuku.

"You alright Izuku?, Emerald made me to support you." Cedrina's double said as she looks at Bakugou to make sure he wouldn't try anything as he slowly gets to his feet from that unexpected hit disorienting him.

Izuku was still surprised to see the Cedrina double but focused on Bakugou.

"I'm alright now. Glad you came in." He said to the Cedrina double.

"No problem, I can help but without Emerald giving detailed commands, I can't fight well, its like one of those autonomous things, sure I get commands but if unexpected things happen I'll have trouble adapting… even now it feels like I'm in some kind of fog right now." The double said which told Izuku that Emerald's Quirk worked best if he was nearby and had a line of sight… a double could do their best but unless they get commands they were not as good as the original they were modeled after.

Izuku tsked at this.

"Well we'll have to do our best. Might have to try and get a bit close to Emerald if we're lucky."

"Yeah but he is dealing with Cedric right with a Cedric double of his own, we have to be careful since if we don't play our cards right, we could be dealing with an enraged Bakugou and Cedric, Emerald maybe able to make allies, but this place is not made for that kind of thing." Cedrina said when she brought up the fact this place was not made to be crowded when all the hallways were in a plus like shape every now and then.

"Yeah… you have a point." Izuku said since he knew that the double was right.

"Oi… you two fuckers done talking!... because I'm not waiting any longer!" Bakugou growled out which showed that as Cedrina's double and Izuku talked, Bakugou took the chance to recover and since he heard that Emerald couldn't get in his way any longer… well he had a anger fueled grin which made Bakugou look really explosive right now.

Izuku frowns.

"We seriously need to take down that grouch."

"Yeah though beca-!" the Cedrina double tried to warn but before she or Izuku could even react, Bakugou blasts off towards them and gripped the double on the face and before she could even react, Bakugou blew her head off and the double broke down as Bakugou lands on his feet and he looks at Izuku with a look of rage.

"There… now no one will get in my way for awhile!" Bakugou growled out as he glared at Izuku.

"Now then Deku… why are you not using your Quirk… why don't you use it…" Bakugou growled as he roars this.

"WHY DON'T YOU USE IT SINCE MINE IS EVEN STRONGER!" Bakugou roars while the scene went from the battle to a hidden room where the other students were and All Might was jotting down notes on how this fight was going while some people were commenting on what they saw, thanks to how the room was made, no one could hear anything, all but All Might thanks to a special earbud in one ear so he could hear the talking from the groups in the building.

Everyone saw what Emerald did after the group got in the building, how Izuku threw Bakugou over his shoulder, how Emerald and Cedric start their fight while the Cedrina double went to help Izuku and the double getting her head blown off before she could do much aside from one save and seeing Bakugou really looking enraged as he looks at Izuku.

"Damn… that Bakugou guy really has some issues against Izuku." One student said.

"Not only that, looks like that Cedric fellow is in a tight spot with… himself." Another said.

Though while that went on, Lillum, Clover, Cedrina, Azure, and Rachel were looking on and Rachel rubbed her head.

"Wow, no hesitation on taking your double out, either that guy is merciless or he knew about that double thing before." Rachel said since she saw Bakugou using a lot of power in that attack against Cedrina's double.

"Yeah… don't get that guy's issue but glad the real Cedrina wasn't in there or else Cedric would definitely murder the guy." Lillum said.

"Yeah, though for some reason Bakugou isn't trying to really injure Izuku, maybe he is holding back in some twisted mentality so he doesn't break the rules." Azure said when she noticed that after Izuku and Bakugou fight, Bakugou used light blasts to not give Izuku serious injury… not sure if that was good or not since it meant more attacks for Bakugou to use.

Cedrina narrows her eyes.

"Well he has a weird way of showing it." She said before checking Cedric's fight with his double.

Turns out he was slowly getting faster as time goes on with his attacks though as Cedric was fighting his double, Emerald seemed to flinch for some reason and he had a serious look on his face.

"Hey Cedric, sorry but you'll need to keep fighting your double alone, Bakugou just destroyed Cedrina's double… and that pissed me the fuck off." Emerald said as his eyes glowed before he started walking away from Cedric and his double while Cedric's double got another command… do anything in your power to keep Cedric there without causing him real harm.

Cedric's eyes widened.

"That son of a bitch." He said but can't do anything since the double was there.

Guess he'll need to get serious.

That's when Cedric charges at the double before using his Quirk again.

Though what Cedric didn't expect was his double pretty much bum rushing Cedric and kicked Cedric square in the gut hard as Cedric charged the double… that… really knocked the wind out of him and when he looks at the double… the double looked royally pissed.

"I know what you are thinking given the personality Emerald gave me… sure you may be pissed that a double of your sister got destroyed… but…" Cedric's double said before his batons actually crackle with white colored electrical energy somehow.

"Considering that was a double of Cedrina… and I'm a double of you… it was like Bakugou killed my sister just now… so I doubt your anger matches mine right now… I know she can be remade… us doubles technically never die, sentient Quirks are a thing but… it still pisses me off that no one put that fucker in his place!... doesn't matter what you say… I'll be keeping you here until the boss kicks that fuckers head right out of his damned ass so he will listen to reason!" Cedric's double growled while the batons glow with energy… Cedric wasn't sure if the glow was legit electric energy or not but either way… something was screaming at him to either run or watch out because getting hit would be a VERY bad idea right now.

Cedric groans before getting up.

"Well until then…" He said before charging his batons.

"I'll make sure you die into nothingness. To quote an American song… 'Not giving up my shot'." He said before he charges at the double.

The double rolled his eyes as he fought against his original.

"Dude, I may look like you but if the boss doesn't know that song, I sure won't… you'll need to tell him a song to listen to later to get that quote." Cedric's double said as the scene went to Izuku and Bakugou as they were fighting still and Bakugou looked more and more enraged as Izuku wasn't using his Quirk at all against him… was he mocking him?... did he think he was so special that he didn't want to use his Quirk against HIM of all people!?

While that happened as Izuku was backed into a corner, Izuku and Bakugou heard footsteps approaching and to Bakugou's irritation and Izuku's relief, Emerald was here from one of the hallways… was Cedric captured with capturing tape?

"Emerald! Glad you're here." Izuku said.

Bakugou narrows his eyes.

"Dammit!... Knew that stungun was weak against you. Some partner."

Though Bakugou had to jump from where he was when Emerald summoned a massive fist of light that hit the ground where Bakugou was and the ground cracked hard from the impact.

"Oh would you just shut the fuck up you explosive dumbass, hearing your voice and seeing you try to be a hero when you can't even control your anger… Izuku has a better chance of being the number 1 hero then you will ever be… even if you are stronger than him, do you really think people will accept that?... I came here not only to protect Izuku, but get payback when you destroyed the double of Cedrina that I made, I FELT that explosion destroy her head… no mercy at all for constructs huh?... as for Cedric I left a double of him to keep him preoccupied so he isn't beaten yet so don't downplay your teammates." Emerald said while Izuku could tell that while restrained… Emerald was royally pissed off.

Bakugou rolls his eyes.

"I can if that fool can't beat a cheap imitation. But hey, considering who you're engaged to, freeloaders are freeloaders."

That really pissed off Emerald and he took his hands out of his pockets.

"Better take that back… They have never ONCE tried to use me or my family for their gain!... at least they don't have to threaten or intimidate people like a common thug who acts like he is the king of the damn world… well guess what… I'm not boasting when I say this… I… am much stronger than you… hell Shiro or Kuro alone could take an impatient ass like you so how will it feel to get your ass kicked by a small girl?" Emerald said while he really looked angered but smirks when he pretty much called Bakugou weak.

Bakugou was getting pissed.

"I'll show you who's weak. And once I'm done with you, I'll give your sisters a taste of my strength."

Emerald in turn didn't have much of a reaction though he did summon hands of light and darkness.

"Is that all?, personally I expect better insults from real villains or heroes who give Villain killers problems… are we going to fight or are we going to waste time?" Emerald said as the hands of light and Darkness were sent towards Bakugou with clinched fists.

Bakugou growls in anger.

Fine!" He said before charging at Emerald.

Meanwhile as Ochako and Maite made it to the floor with the *bomb*, Maite for some reason had a bad feeling when she looks back down the floors and Ochako noticed.

"Something wrong?" Ochako asked while Maite looks conflicted and when Ochako noticed that, she smiles and she placed a hand on Maite's shoulder.

"If you want to go back I won't stop you, I won't do anything dangerous and try and get the bomb in a sneaky way so go help Emerald and Izuku, who knows, if I tell them that its three on two, Tenya or Daniel may run out of the room making it one on one for me." Ochako said to try and ease things for Maite.

Maite looks at Ochako.

"If you're sure. I don't want to regret leaving you alone."

"I'm sure, besides this is a mock battle so I doubt Tenya and Daniel will try anything really evil, I'm more worried about Deku and Emerald right now with Bakugou running wild." Ochako said as Maite looks amused since to Ochako, Deku was a good name to her instead of a bad one like Bakugou used with Izuku.

"Well then. I better make sure that both our boyfriends come out okay." She said in a teasing way before she went to help Emerald and Izuku.

Ochako blushed before she called after an amused Maite.

"D-Deku isn't my boyfriend!" Ochako said in a shy way as she ran up the stairway to the final floor where Tenya and Daniel were.

As she went into that floor, Maite ran down to the first floor and when she saw Cedric and his double fighting, she saw Cedric was too busy to notice her so she ignored Cedric and the double to go to the source of the explosion sounds going on.

'Emerald… hope you and Izuku are okay.' Maite thought as she got closer.

When she did, it seemed her fears were unfounded when she saw Emerald using some fists of light to punch Bakugou before he could get close and used small shields of light to block any long distant attacks and Bakugou was getting more and more irritated when he jumped back for some reason while Emerald was between Bakugou and Izuku who was having trouble recovering from the damage he took.

Maite sees this before she went to Izuku's aid.

Izuku noticed Maite and was surprised to see her here.

"M-Maite? What are you doing here?... Where's Ochako?"

"She's fine, she will tell Tenya and Daniel that I came back and if Tenya is a logical guy, chances are Daniel will come down here to make things even with 3 on 3, besides you really complaining that I came back?, I can leave you here if you want." Maite said with a teasing smile on her face when she looked like she really would do that.

Izuku quickly shook his head.

"N-No. Just surprised."

"Good, then let me lend you a hand so we can get you patched up, Emerald can handle this guy." Maite said though as she talked to Izuku, Bakugou wouldn't have any of that and as he oddly shaked his right arm for a moment, he grins as he points the arm at Emerald somewhat and at Maite and Izuku.

This got everyone's attention as Bakugou pulled the long part on the grenade shaped gauntlet back towards him and some kind of mechanizm was pulled… Emerald didn't notice it thanks to his field of view being blocked… Maite however saw some kind of Pin and as Bakugou speaks she got what Bakugou was planning.

"You know Deku… I already know of your stalking…" Bakugou said which confused Izuku for a moment.

"My explosions are sparked by the sweat on my palms which is like secreting nitroglycerin that then detonates." Bakugou said as he reached for the pin.

"If the specs are as I asked…" Bakugou said as Daniel at this time was rushing down the stairs.

"Then I can store that Nitro-sweat into this bracer and…" Bakugou said as All Might's voice rang out over the speakers.

"Bakugou my boy!, Stop this!, you'll kill them!" All Might tried to say as Bakugou grins.

"If it doesn't hit them they won't die!" Bakugo said as Maite lets go of Izuku right when Bakugou pulled the pin and from another side, Cedric having beaten his double appeared nearby and well… everyone saw a massive blast heading right towards Emerald, Maite, and Izuku though as Emerald tried to make a shield… it barely lasted half a second before it shattered and thanks to that extra buildup… the blast got wider as a result and instead of a near miss like it would have, the attack was more widespread and as Daniel looked shocked and Cedric was stunned, he never noticed debris heading his way while Maite rushed to try and tackle Emerald out of the way… the rest on the camera were not seen when the cameras in the room were destroyed and All Might, paling, rushed out of the room with the others giving chase with everyone having worried looks on their faces.

Cedrina and Lillum were the most worried considering that not only Emerald could be hurt but so would Cedric and Maite along with Izuku.

Meanwhile in the room after everyone ran there… everyone was shocked when they saw a stunned Bakugou, an injured Cedric who had some debris in his arm and was using his free arm to hold his left eye area… and while Deku was seen coughing nearby, he was shocked when he didn't see Emerald or Maite… under a massive amount of debris where they were standing as Tenya and Ochako ran into the room after jumping down a massive hole in the ceiling nearby.

"Deku!" Ochako said as she goes to him.

Though as she ran to him, he ran to the pile of debris when he ran by her and starts to move rocks out of the way.

"E-Emerald!, Maite!" Izuku said while he had a panicked look on his face which told the students and All Might that Emerald and Maite were most likely buried under the mountain of concrete and metal and what not.

All Might's eyes widened before he started using his strength to help pick up the big debris.

Everyone else got wide eyes and as Tenya ran to get help, everyone else used their quirks to try and help get the debris cleared up though Cedrina went to her brother's side and after checking on him… she gasped when she saw that while Cedric could recover for the most part with his arm being the main taker of a hit… his left eye was pretty much destroyed thanks to some glass pretty much well... it was hard to tell but Cedrina was glad there was blood to block the gore but Cedric's right eye was… gone.

"O-Oh God… Cedric... your eye." Cedrina said as she started to tear up.

Cedric however glanced at his sister with his good eye and at Daniel as well.

"I-I'll… be fine… go help the others… E-Emerald and Maite…" Cedric got out while he used parts of his costume to wrap around his arm to stop the bleeding and used more to cover his eye socket to slow the blood loss to a near stop.

Cedrina wanted to protest but she knew that Emerald and Maite needed help before she went to help the search party.

Daniel on his end ripped up his costume and used it to bandage Cedric's wounds around the debris in Cedric's arm.

"I'll go help them in a moment, need to make sure you don't bleed out first otherwise your sister will be sad man." Daniel said as he used a bit more cloth to make a faux eyepatch while Cedric looks amused somewhat.

"Y-Yeah… t-though bright side… at least no one will mistake me for my sister again hehe." Cedric said while Daniel chuckles a bit as he made sure things were tied right.

"That's the blood loss and shock to your body talking man, try and keep focused." Daniel said while in the pile….

Under the pile…

"U-Ugh…." Emerald groans as he opened his eyes… it took him a moment to remember what just happened and he made a ball of light to see where he was… thankfully he wasn't entombed in rocks and what not, in fact he could stand fully… but he couldn't move much from his spot.

"Damn, guys a freaking psychopath…" Emerald muttered before he remembered what happened before the blast hit.

"Maite!" Emerald said before he quickly looks around, she couldn't have gotten blasted far from him, at the last moment he made a barrier around the duo so she should be fine… right?

However when Emerald turned to one side… his breath halts for a moment when he saw Maite… and how she was laying nearby with a pipe piercing her stomach that narrowly missed her spine.

"Oh fuck… oh no!." Emerald said as he rushed to Maite and knelt next to her.

"Maite!... oh fucking hell… I thought I defended us!" Emerald said when he didn't know what to do, his Quirk may help but he didn't think it would help with an injury this bad… broken bones and ripped flesh… sure… but a damn pipe through the gut!?

Maite was able to groan before she slightly opened her eyes.

"E-Emerald?" She said before coughing a bit.

To Emerald's shock, Maite also coughed up a bit of blood.

"Oh fuck… hang on Maite, I'll think of something!, try and not pass out on me!" Emerald said while he looks around while Maite just… looks amused when she could feel some kind of coldness creeping up on her and… no pain?... oh hell looks like the injury was worse than it looked.

"D-Don't worry… E-Emerald. I'll be… f-fine." Maite said.

"A-Are you kidding me?... you got a hole in your gut and your telling me….no… oh no no no…" Emerald said when he saw blood slowly leak onto the ground from behind Maite and knelt next to her.

"Dammit!, if I didn't hold back and knock that fucker out we wouldn't be in this mess!, its all my fault!" Emerald said while he starts to tear up as he looks at Maite.

"D-Don't say that Emerald. B-Bakugou was at fault." Maite said.

"Y-Yeah but… but…" Emerald said as Maite placed a hand on his cheek which shut him up for a moment.

"N-No buts. Not everything is your fault. We'll make it. I-I just hope the others weren't affected." Maite said.

"B-But your b-bleeding so much… oh god I don't even know how to fix this!, I can patch myself up just fine but I never think much about it… now you could die and I can't do anything… this just like what happened years ago when I wanted to help Shiro and Kuro but couldn't do anything!" Emerald said when gulps as Maite looked pretty weak right now and a bit pale.

"D-Don't worry Emerald. I-It won't be like this." Maite said while trying to reassure Emerald.

Emerald however looked more worried as Maite coughed a few more times and her vision starts to blur and Emerald's voice sounded mute when he tried to talk with her… a moment later… her hand dropped and Emerald's eyes widened from that.

"Maite?" Emerald said when he saw Maite's eyes closed.

"Maite?" Emerald said when he shook her lightly.

"No….Nonono...Nononononononono this can't be real!" Emerald said when he felt like he was about to panic, throw up, and pass out all at the same time… though a voice in his head much different and calmer then Dark's was heard which seemed to guide him.

"Check her heartbeat first before assuming she died." The voice said which caused Emerald to lean down… and though really weak… Maite's heartbeat was weak… but still there.

"Good… she is alive, at this stage she can be helped… however this will come at a cost." The voice said which caused Emerald to look up and he saw to his shock a… pure white ghostly being with a wide almost unnerving smile.

"What the… who are you?" Emerald said while the being chuckles.

"You can… call me Light… the other half of your Quirk Darklight… Simply put I'm the reason you can heal, defend, and everything." The being said while Emerald would have looked worried but Emerald had no time to worry or think.

"Fine… what do I need to do." Emerald said while the being smirks.

"You sure?... granted with this you have a 100% chance of saving her but…" The being said as he held up his finger.

"You would be starting out right at step 1 with all light attribute abilities and constructs and will have to rely on your darkside more… not only that… but you would lose the ability of passively recovering your own wounds since it was an ability that was developed over time." The Being said as Emerald looked the being in the eyes… or where his eyes would be at least.

"I don't care about the cost if it means helping Maite!" Emerald said as the being grins at Emerald when it seemed to like the answer.

"Good answer." The being said.

A moment later, the being grins as it raised a hand and Emerald roars when he felt something changing in him big time… a moment later he felt a pulse in his body which caused his breath to hitch when he heard Dark's voice.

"Hehe… welcome to the darkside of things." Dark said in Emerald's head as Emerald roars again while a black and white light filled the place and as that happened, tendrils of light and darkness went to Maite while the scene went to the outside to show the Hero Cementoss coming to lend a hand thanks to Tenya finding him, when it came to the city and other things, well… when it came to being in a City and Cementoss being able to manipulate any cement based material… guy was a beast in cities and places made of the stuff.

Though before he could do anything… a rumbling was felt which caused everyone on the pile to get off of it right before mists… of pure black emit from the pile… and a moment later… a massive beam of darkness was blasted from the pile and a large hole was seen.

Everyone looked shocked from the sight and as everyone wondered what happened… they heard footsteps and saw a figure walking out and everyone saw Emerald with shadows covering his eyes while he carried Maite while she looked OK again… but she was oddly unmoving and there was a hole in her clothing on her stomach…

Everyone's eyes widened before they all saw All Might running to the duo.

"Maite!" He said.

Emerald passed Maite to All Maite and a small groan from her was a sign she was still alive though Emerald walking from All Might was a bit confusing.

"Get her to Recovery girl… Maite lost a lot of blood and I did my best but she won't last long without help." Emerald said as his voice seemed… restrained… like he was trying to not lose his cool as he walked up to Bakugou while his eyes were still not seen.

All Might didn't know what is happening but his daughter needed help.

As he went to get Recovery girl to help his daughter and Cedric when he quickly moved to pick him up carefully, Cedrina and Lillum had concerned looks on their faces when the looked at Emerald.

"Emerald?" Cedrina said.

Emerald however ignored them to look at Bakugou who had trouble looking Emerald in the overshadowed eyes.

"Look at me." was all Emerald said as he keeps his tone restrained for now while Cementoss was at the ready in case either Emerald or Bakugou tried something.

Bakugou didn't say anything till his eyes focused on Emerald.

"Good... listen and listen well… I'm not putting the entire blame on you, I saw from my angle you were aiming for a near miss and my shield caused the explosion to build up… however…" Emerald said as he gripped Bakugou on the collar of his outfit.

"Because of you starting this with your fucking anger… Maite was nearly killed… All Might's daughter… one of my girlfriends… it doesn't matter how you spin it… you caused that initial attack… you got Maite harmed… I'm not sure if anyone else was caught in the crossfire… but if so… good luck trying to convince everyone here you are a hero in training… all I see is a rage prone dumbass who was close on my list to kill because if Maite died… I would have killed you for your rather villainous move… doesn't matter how you wanted the move to go… firing an attack like that indoors… ignoring your allies and insulting them… to me you have a long way to go before you are even hero material in my eyes… I'll be keeping my eye on you… better think long and hard about your future actions… but remember… pull a stunt like that in a stupid situation like this again… well… I doubt that I need to explain more… and just to prove I'm not bullshitting… I held back big time against you… you would have been critically injured instead of having wounds this light… this world doesn't revolve around you and this mentality of yours so get your act together to get any trust back." Emerald growled out before he lets go of Bakugou and he starts walking away from the Explosive Quirk user.

Bakugou was just silent after hearing everything before feeling guilt and regret for causing this much damage and almost killing Maite.

A few medical bots rolled in and after doing a quick patch up on Izuku and Bakugou while he was quiet, Cementoss clapped his hands a bit to get everyone's attention.

"Alright everyone, this situation maybe dire but seems like Maite and to a lesser extent Cedric will recover if they get to Recovery Girl in time and no one else is injured greatly, I suggest we head back to your homeroom and we wait for news, wouldn't do any of us good to worry ourselves sick, Recovery girl is top tier in medical skills and her Quirk, I would worry more on what you will say to the duo when they walk into the homeroom." Cementoss said to try and bring the mood back up.

Everyone seemed to nod their heads and starts heading to their homeroom however, Lillum and Cedrina went towards their boyfriend.

"You okay, Emy?" Lillum said.

Emerald was quiet for a moment and dark shadows still covered his eyes.

"Honestly...no… not only did I not take Bakugou out when I could have, I nearly got Maite killed!, If I focused on dodging instead of defending… we wouldn't be in this situation and probably continuing class without issue… talk about a first real day of collage… and from what I just heard… Cedric was harmed." Emerald said as he grits his teeth in frustration as he walked from Lillum and Cedrina to follow the class.

Cedrina looks at Lillum.

"I'm worried about him Lillum." She said.

"After what just happened… can't blame him for acting like that, surprised he didn't rip that Bakuass a new one… come on Cedrina… lets get back to class and hope Maite and Cedric come out OK…" Lillum said as she gestured for Cedrina to follow.

"Right…" Cedrina said as she follows Lillum but was still worried about Emerald while hoping that Maite and Cedric recovered before having this thought.

'Hope they pull through. Though mom and dad will be livid when they find out.'

Meanwhile…

Maite was in some kind of black void while she seemed to be in a daze…

Tendrils of darkness seemed to reach out for her and as they drew near, Maite seemed to be more aware of her surroundings as she felt the tendrils touch her… she starts to struggle from feeling that when they felt cold and lifeless to the touch… she tried to scream but nothing was heard… she tried to struggle but couldn't form much strength… she then remembered what happened… Bakugou unleashing that attack… Emerald blocking the hit for a moment… everything after and Emerald's panicked face as he looked down… at her dying body.

The only thing that could be heard was her thoughts as more and more tendrils start to move around to grab at parts of her body while she felt herself get dragged from the bright surface and has a regretful look on her face while thoughts ring out in her head.

'N-No… Have to get away… but to where? I failed to stay alive for everyone. For Emerald.'

Though as she tried to fight it more… more of her strength was fading and as her vision starts to blur… she had one final thought as more tendrils slowly start to try and cover her eyes.

'Emerald… I doubt if you'll hear me but… I love you.'

Though as one eye was covered and the other was nearly covered… something bright appeared in front of her while the tendrils were seemingly forced away.

"Eh, I doubt he will hear you this far down… why don't you come back up and say it to him?, lot more fun in the land of the living anyway instead of going to the great beyond where things can be boring." A strange but friendly looking blank like being said to Maite with a wide infectious grin while the being gripped Maite's hand and as she was dragged to the surface instead of down… she heard this right as she was about to hit the surface.

"Though I would really suggest doing something really impressive since Emerald gave up a lot to save your life even if it doesn't seem like it." The being said as the scene went to reality and a tired looking Maite opened her eyes with a groan.

Reality/ U.A. Collage Infirmary/ Maite

"U-Ugh…" Maite groans when she felt like she was hit by a truck and as she opened her eyes, she saw the tiles of the U.A. Collage infirmary and when she looks around, she saw Cedric sleeping near her with one eye covered with bandages and his right arm wrapped in bandages… she also saw her dad out of muscle form sleeping next to her with a blanket on top of him.

Though before she could wonder more on what happened, she jolts when she heard a throat clearing and saw the smiling face of Recovery Girl.

"You know, you gave us quite the scare young lady, nearly dying like that." Recovery girl said as she hobbled over to her desk and sat on her chair so she could look at Maite when she turned in the chair to do so.

Maite was surprised for a bit.

"H-How long was I out?"

"Well… the initial battle test was resumed a couple hours after you were brought here… lets see… right now its 2 AM in the morning, I would call your parents to pick you up but… your worrywart of a father wouldn't leave your side after the surgery I did so he passed out an hour ago… I will say its honestly a miracle you are still alive young lady, many vital organs were ruptured by that pipe and when I did my surgery… well… some tiny glowing specks were already well underway in putting you back together and in a proper method I might add… I'm not sure what happened but you should really thank whatever did this since my Quirk doesn't have healing properties, but speeds up the bodies recovery process naturally, if it wasn't for those little sparks you would be in the next world and with a grieving father." Recovery girl said as Maite looked surprised… though she did remember that strange voice.

"Though I would really suggest doing something really impressive since Emerald gave up a lot to save your life even if it doesn't seem like it." The being said in Maite's momentary flashback… did Emerald save her from death?

'Did Emerald save me? What did he give up to do this?... Though what did that voice mean to do something impressive?' Maite thought.

Though… given what Emerald would probably want from her… well… Recovery girl chuckles at the blush that formed on Maite's face.

"Well you better rest up first deary, here have some gummy bears, can't have you be too hungry can we?" Recovery girl said when a bag of gummy bears was near Maite on a nearby nightstand.

"R-Right." Maite said before taking the gummy bears.

Though she was concerned after noticing Cedric.

"Is Cedric alright?" She said.

"Well… he had nothing life threatening… however in order to stop the bloodloss, I had to remove his destroyed eye, he has no right eye now, thankfully there are Quirks and tech that can help make up for that but… going to be awhile before he can use his right arm fully, I had to reconnect muscle nerves together and it was touch and go there, all in all it will take a bit for him to fully heal… though time won't be an issue if he stops by here every now and then." RG said as she looked at Maite in a calming way to show it would be a while before Cedric fully heals but he would heal nonetheless.

Maite felt bad for what happened to her friend but was relieved to know that he'll recover.

"I see… is Emerald here as well?"

"Well he was here but because of me, he had to leave, he will visit later no doubt but for now you should get some rest, you are still recovering from the blood loss that you went through." RG said when she reminded Maite she had a pipe through the gut earlier… recovery or not she still had serious blood loss earlier.

Maite almost forgot about that.

"Y-You're right. Better to rest now."

"Yeah… don't worry I'll let your father know you woke just now so don't worry about getting a full muscle formed hug though expect a lot of tears from him… and maybe blood if he coughs from excitement." RG said while she went back to look at her desk.

Maite was quiet for a moment before looking at her father one more time before she went back to sleep.

The scene then shifts to Emerald for a moment while he was laying in his bed… and as he looks at his hand… his hand crackles with light energy for a moment before he flinched and the energy turned dark and the scene fades to black as Emerald frowns at the sight.
