Chapter 12: This wasn't plan from the beginning
Aika Kiryu looked at the weird gun on the table, and Nagumo showed up to her place to play some video game. Currently they are playing Far Cry New Drawn, playing co-op in shooting bandits and raiders.
"I love this Saw Launcher" Nagumo said, currently playing by himself, using the Saw Launcher that shoots flying saws at people.
Something Nagumo wants to try in real life if he can.
"It is, for an apocalypse world," Aika said, looking over the white cross-shaped gun.
"But this gun you have is very impractical for a pistol, it far too big for standard pistols today, due to the ergonomics of these guns they must correspond with your constitution and the shape of your hand, can't be too big to use" Aika grabs the large pistol in her hand.
"Sub-compacts are not very suitable for beginners. Some find them more difficult to handle and hold, as it might be hard to properly grip the gun. A gun must correctly fit your hand and should be tested at a shooting range. If a gun is wide and thick, it creates an outline on your clothing that's easier to see when carrying as a sidearm or covertly, some women like to see the package but that would get the wrong attention" Aika tested the weight of the gun, feeling it very heavy on her hand.
"You will definitely feel every gram of extra weight for weapons that are everyday carry, which is why lighter polymer frames dominate the current service market" Aika said, checking the hilt of the pistol.
"The gun looks more like a revolver than a pistol, which is weird, because revolvers are hardly ever used as a service gun nowadays, due to the low number of rounds in the cylinder. Despite the prevalence of speed loaders, reloading requires the learning of an additional skill and is much slower than changing a semi-automatic pistol's magazine." Aika said, seeing the cylinder of the ammo clip.
"Revolvers are sometimes larger and heavier, which can be a disadvantage. The increased thickness is due to the cylinder, often making the gun unsuitable for concealed carry" Aika said, looking at the really big pistol.
"Overall, I think you should try the Glock or a CZ Shadow 2, more practical then this shit" Aika said putting the pistol down as she heads to play with Nagumo.
"So make it small, and lightweight" Nagumo notes, remembering Aika knowledge of guns is larger than his own, even with his alternative self-dreams.
"Good to know, but I don't think those exorcists focus on practically then holy chants" Nagumo said, ducking under cover as the bandits start to swarm him in game.
"Faith is one thing, but you should always believe in weapons" Aika said, seeing Nagumo devils wings out as she smirks, saving his ass in the game by throwing a grenade in the group.
Nagumo told Aika his secret about being a devil some time ago, at first she didn't believe him, but he showed her his devil wings and magic powers.
She took it rather well.
Flashback
"So does that mean you're taking me as your bride, we do the whole bride of Satan thing" Aika asked, looking behind Nagumo and feeling the wings.
"I doubt you would like that, cause I'm not Satan" Nagumo said, Aika pets the wings, making Nagumo shiver at the touch.
"Too bad, guess I can say you're a handsome devil" Aika smirks, seeing Nagumo shiver as she feels the leather like wings.
"Do these feel good to you?" Aika asked, Nagumo shrugs.
"It's sensitive" Nagumo moves his wings out of her hands.
"Too bad, another sweet spot to mess with you, want to play video games?" Aika asked, Nagumo just nodded as they played the game.
Flashback over
So yeah she is easy going as she normally does, but Nagumo believes she would freak out later when he told her about the supernatural world while they play games.
"I always thought Rias was too sexy to be true" Aika said, seeing everyone in ORC too good looking, all of them being devils made sense to her.
"I know, it's weird how perfect they are," Nagumo said. Humans have faults, it is natural but Rias makes herself seen faultless to everyone. Now Aika knows why.
"So this light gun, can you use it?" Aika asked while playing the game, they both in the game were going to face the final boss.
"I can use the pistol as long as I don't touch the ammo" Nagumo explained, already using the light gun before, shooting light bullets at his practice range.
Sadly he can't touch the ammo without it hurting him.
"And you can't reload it for obvious reasons" Aika said, a holy weapon doesn't work for devils.
"Hit a nail there, don't know how they reload the thing" Nagumo said, both players headed to the last locations to save the target.
"Didn't the fallen angel tell you?" Aika asked, both of them shoot into the building to save the target.
"That never came up," Nagumo said, wishing Dohnaseek was still alive to answer more questions.
Both players save the girl but now have to face the final boss.
"Maybe praying reloads them" Aika said, Nagumo shrugs.
"Then I can't use it, devils don't pray to the big man" Nagumo said, if you need to pray to reload then the exorcist is more stupid than he thought, Aika paused the game.
"How about I try it" Aika said, grabbing the light gun and putting it on the table, getting into a praying thing.
"Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen" Aika prays to the gun, Nagumo gets a light headache from Aika's prayer.
Aika opens her eyes, seeing Nagumo looks hurt.
"Oh right, sorry" Aika apologised but Nagumo waved her off.
"It's fine, check the ammo" Nagumo said, he can't even touch the stuff as Aika picks up the gun, pulling the cylinder out to reveal it's empty.
"Nothing," Aika said, Nagumo shrugs, not expecting it to work.
"It's fine, my best guess is angels must have powered it up" Nagumo said, seeing how light energy comes from angels or fallen angels, either way he can't reload them.
"Shame, maybe you can drain a fallen angel next time," Aika said, aware of the basics in the supernatural world.
"Maybe, I have to be careful, holy energy still hurts me" Nagumo said, Aika starts the game as they continue to play.
"Try to make a gun or something to absorb the energy" Aika said, Nagumo told her his magic in illusion and manipulating matter basic on Devil imagination magic.
Overpowered much, but is balanced out due to devils being too prideful to use its full potential.
"True but I doubt an angel will stand still while I absorb their holy light" Nagumo said, both entering the place, their players turn to see the twin boss with smoke bombs, ready to fight.
"Don't other things have holy light energy in them, why not absorb that" Aika gives a good point, light swords have holy light in them, and maybe churches or other religions items should have the same, Devil can't touch anything involving the big man upstairs.
Nagumo thinks about it, a weapon or a gadget to absorb the light energy could work, maybe make that old church a holy light farm or something.
Does worship build up light magic; Aika prayer did have an effect on Nagumo.
"You and us, we could have done something, I guess it wasn't meant to be" One of the twins said, putting out smoke grenades.
"So let's end this" The other said, both Aika and Nagumo start to fight against the twins.
"Shame you can't romance them, love to see the sex scenes with the two" Aika frowns while shooting the twins.
"Didn't the last sex scene end with you getting stabbed," Nagumo said, remembering Far Cry 3.
"Yeah but the body was worth it" Aika grins as goes Nagumo, both start to tag team the twins, Nagumo shooting one with the flamethrower while Aika goes in deep into the sniper one.
"I look into the device, any ideas?" Nagumo asked, while Aika grins.
"I have a few design ideas," Aika said, both of them finishing off the final boss as they continue to talk about the supernatural and the benefits Nagumo can make with his magic powers.

Issei's eyes were still focused on trying to get Rias to help him only to get a slap from his master.
"How many times do I have to repeat myself? No means no, I can't allow you to save that nun" Rias spoke seriously
"She's got a Sacred Gear that can heal anything including Devils…and they intent to do some sort of ritual to her…It'll start another war if they can heal all there injuries that easily" Issei retorted, he didn't want Asia's ability to be known but he had to convince Rias to let him go save her.
Nagumo was impressed by Issei's plea, using the Sacred Gear to get support, Devils love them, he and the others are watching Issei beg for support to save the Nun.
Honestly why don't they attack and save the nun, the fallen are in Devil territory, attack said devil's prawn and now are doing a holy ritual with a nun here.
Why doesn't Rias just attack and take them all out? Nagumo thought as he continued to watch Issei beg to save the nun.
"That's a wonderful thing; I think it's amazing if you can say that. But that is different from what we are talking about now. The relationship between Devil and Fallen Angel is not as simple as you think. The two sides have been glaring at each other for hundreds and thousands of years. If you show them a single gap of weakness, they will come and kill us, they are our enemy…" Akeno came in and whispered something into Rias' ear, a serious expression on both faces; she looked at Issei for a moment before the other members.
"I've got an urgent thing to do now. Akeno and I will go out for a bit" Rias said, getting a raised eye-brow from Nagumo.
"But…Buchou!" Issei spoke only to find Rias' index finger on his lips as she spoke
"The Pawn's ability is "Promotion" as you know… you can change into other classes if you reach the opponent's base. It can be promoted to any other piece besides the "King", Issei you can promote to any piece besides the "King" in the location I acknowledge as an enemy's location" Rias explains promotion to Issei, he still doesn't know it yet.
"Since it hasn't been that long since you became a Devil, there are restrictions, so it's probably still impossible for you to be promoted to the ultimate piece, "Queen". But you could change to other classes. If you wish strongly and say "Promotion" with your heart, then there will be a change in your ability. Also one more thing, it's about the Sacred Gear, When you use your Sacred Gear, just remember this" Rias stroked his cheek as she continued
"Desire. Sacred Gear's power works on the user's desire. It also determines the power as well. Even if you are a Devil, your will to desire hasn't been lost. There's one last thing you should never forget, Issei. Even the "Pawn" can take down the "King". This is basic in chess. This truth also applies in the Devils' chess pieces. You can become stronger." Rias said, after that she and Akeno teleported to some place from the magic circle, leaving Issei with Nagumo, Kiba and Koneko, the teen taking a deep breath as he started to walk towards the door
"Issei-kun…?" Kiba called, Issei stopped.
"Are you going?" the blonde asked,
"Yeah…I have to because Asia's my friend…no matter what happens to me as long as she'll be safe I can live with whatever will happen to me" Issei replied, Nagumo looked at him, who knew Issei could be so noble.
"I would say it's a good determination but it's still reckless" Kiba spoke,
"That's just how I am," Issei said as he opened the door.
"I'm going too" Kiba spoke, Issei looking back in confusion.
"I don't know much about Asia-san, but you are my comrade. Even though Buchou said that, there's a part of me that respects your decision. Also, I personally don't like Fallen Angels and Priests. I detest them." Kiba said Nagumo looked at him in surprise, Detest? Kiba must have a dark past with the church.
"Buchou said that she acknowledges you have come a long way. Of course it also means that I should support you as well. Buchou may have some sort of plan. If not, she would have stopped you by locking you up somewhere" Kiba added, laughing slightly as Issei thanked Rias for her kindness before he was surprised once more
"….I'm going as well." Koneko spoke
"Koneko-chan…?" Issei asked, his smile growing happier as he looked to her
"…I feel uneasy if it's only two people going," She added as Nagumo signs.
"Fuck it, I'm going too" Nagumo said, most likely Rias plan to get Issei's power boost by doing this bullshit and get a new piece as well.
Cause why tell him now about the desire thing when he was still learning how to use it,
"Thank you, all of you…let's get going, '' Issei said, leading the charge to the abandoned church.

The Devils were examining the church as the street lamps flickered into life above them, Issei was sweating being near it
"From this presence, it's certain that there is a Fallen Angel inside…Here, look at this map" Kiba spoke, pulling out a map of the building.
"Where did this map come from?" Nagumo asked, now believing this is a plan from the start.
"Well, it's basic when you are going into the enemy's territory," Kiba added, not answering Nagumo.
"Besides the sanctuary, there is also a dormitory. The sanctuary looks suspicious." Yuuto signalled to them on the map as he spoke.
"So we can ignore the dormitory…?" Issei asked as Yuuto nodded
"Most likely. Most "Exiled Exorcists" groups usually make some alteration to the sanctuary. They usually perform suspicious rituals under the sanctuary" Kiba explains to Issei.
"Why?" Issei asked, confused.
"Cause churches are holy places and they reject the big man, jerking off in church is there middle finger to the big man, they love him but they got abused for it now they do stupid shit cause they can't function as normal people anymore" Nagumo explains, Kiba nods but didn't like the language Nagumo gives.
"The sanctuary is just behind the gates. I think we can go straight in. The problem is to find the door to the basement once we get in the sanctuary and also if we can defeat the assassins waiting for us" Kiba added as Issei nodded as he kept his gaze on the church
"Let's do it" Issei shouted Issei charge through the entrance and ran straight for the sanctuary, knowing that the Fallen Angels had noticed them by this point.
Entering the sanctuary, Issei looked around for any attackers, his eyes trailing on the altar and long chairs around the large room which was only lit by candles and interior lamps. Clapping rung out in the room as someone made themselves known from behind a pillar, Issei activating his gauntlet as the familiar priest seen them
"Meeting! It's a reunion! So emotional!" Freed shouted, giving them a weird smile.
"Well, I never met a Devil twice before! See, because I'm super strong, I cut Devils into pieces when I first meet them! Once I see them, I cut them up on the spot! I then kiss the corpse and say goodbye! That's how I used to live! But since you guys ruined my style, I'm so lost!" Freed said
He opened his eyes to see Issei diving towards him with his gauntlet, managing to pull his sword out in time to block the attack. Freed is about to shoot his gun only for it to be shot out of his hand.
"OWW fucken hell you asshole devil" Freed shouted, looking at Nagumo putting a smoking gun at him, Issei did a kick which Freed jumped out of the way.
"Hey! I was talking to you shitty Devil" Freed shouted at him.
"I don't care…I'm here for Asia…Not to listen to your rant" Issei shouted, Yuuto and Koneko got ready to fight as Nagumo aimed his pistol at him.
"You guys came to rescue Asia-tan, right? Hahaha! Devil-samas are big hearted for coming to rescue a bitch like that who would even heal Devils! Well, just being entranced to a Devil should make that Sister die! Well, there are hidden stairs under that altar. From there you can go to the place where they are doing the ritual." Freed points out, Koneko picks up a stone statue and throws it at the rogue priest.
Freed dodge it, going out to attack Koneko before Kiba clashes swords with him.
"Hmm! Such a bother! Why are you guys so noisy? I'm sorry for talking in a death language! Forgive me after you die!" Freed said as he tried to slash Kiba, but Kiba speed easily matched Freeds.
"Impressive. You are strong." Kiba is complicated, being a knight devil with super speed to a normal ass human.
"Ahahahaha! You too! A "Knight", huh!? Not even a single blind spot! Now this is great! Yes, yes. This is it. I haven't had a battle like this lately! I was about to cry because of it! Hmm! Hmm! I'm going to kill you!" Freed spoke with a smirk before Kiba's face turned serious.
"Then I will fight seriously for a bit then…Eat this" Kiba spoke, Kiba's sword glowed black as the light from the Freed light sword got absorbed into the blade.
The priest looks confused, Nagumo looks interested.
"Wha…what the hell is this!?" Freed shouted
"It's the "Holy Eraser", a darkness sword that engulfs light" Kiba explained as Issei started to close the distance as he spoke,
"Activate!" The jewel glowed before calling out
[Boost]
"You're a Sacred Gear possessor as well?" Freed spoke surprised to Kiba before trying to attack Issei.
"Promotion: Knight" Issei shouted. Disappeared from view with his newly gained boost of speed, Freed looked shocked
"Promotion!? A Pawn?" Freed shouted, Issei appeared in front of him as he threw his fist into the priest's face, feeling something intercept his attack before throwing his other fist into Freed's chest, launching him back across the room.
Issei sighed in relief as before noticing the cracked handle left in the priest's hand, guessing correctly that the priest had used it as a shield against his first punch.
"That for hitting Asia" Issei said,
"Hmm…Huh? Not only I got punched by a trashy Devil, but he's saying something that I don't get…to me…Don't fuck with me" Freed howled as he got back up as he continued.
"Don't fuck with me! You shit! You low life Devil, don't mess around with me! I'll kill you! Definitely! I'll kill you! I'm going to cut you into pieces, you shit!" He took a second light sword out which only had the sheath, the four the Devils around him, smirking as he noticed that he was surrounded
"Wow, wow. Is this what you call a crisis? Well for me, getting killed by a Devil is a no-no, so I feel like retreating. It's a shame that I can't exorcise you guys, but I also don't want to die!" Freed said he took out a weird looking ball before smashing it on the ground, the blinding light concealing his escape as he cackled from out of view.
"Hey. The shitty Devil over there… I think your name was Issei-kun? To tell you the truth, I have fallen in love with you. So I will definitely kill you. And you too gun Devil, Whatsyourname, Definitely, okay? I won't be a shitty Devil who punched me and another for calling me a pedo, okay? Then, bye-bye." Freed runs away from them.
"Weird fuckin priest" Nagumo said, was going to shoot him but let him go, everyone looked serious as they headed toward the altair's hidden stairs.

Outside the church is a girl with blonde hair which was styled into twin-tails and blue eyes, She wore a Gothic Lolita attire, which consisted of a black dress with white frills, a large black bow on the front, and a green jewel embedded on the collar, white thigh-high socks, and black shoes. She also wore a large black bow on top of her hair.
This is Mittelt.
"I hate standing guard" Mittelt complains, a red Gremory circle appeared under her, revealing both Rias and Akeno.
"Finally something exciting, Hi, I'm Mittelt, the best fallen angel you ever see" Mittelt said to them.
"This girl is full of herself," Akeno said, smiling at her.
"My servant senses you nearby, you must be standing guard in case of an attack" Rias figures out, smirking at her.
"An attack, please were in the middle of a secret ritual we don't want you devils to interfere" Mittelt said, Akeno continued to smile.
"Sorry to burst your bubble but our younger members are already on their way," Akeno said to Mittelt's shock.
"What?! Are you kidding me!?" Mittelt said, Akeno shakes her head, a quick 'nope' response, Mittelt stops on the ground.
"RAhhh I hate devils, always putting their noise where they don't belong, I want to kill their stupid faces, Raggg, it doesn't matter they won't make it" Mittelt said, turning back to the devils in front of her.
"If you are planning a rescue then you'll have to deal with me," Mittelt said, getting her wings out, ready to fight.
But a portal opens behind the devils.
Kalawarna the fallen angel appears.
"Kalawarna, what took you so long?!" Mittelt complains but frown see Kalawarna looks at her.
"Enough Mittelt, we are being betrayed" Kalawarna said, to Mittelt and the Devil's shock. Kalawarna walks in front of the devils and bow her head.
"Forgive us, Lady devil, one of our leaders of Grigori has been undermining Azazel-sama, using devil territory and the animosity to hide, I come with Azazel blessing to put an end to this" Kalawarna said, looking at the two devil who look unsure about this.
"WHAT?! Kalawarna you can't be serious, Raynare said" Mittelt complain but Kalawarna cuts her off.
"Raynare is now under investigation, I only ask that we settle this civilly" Kalawarna said, hoping to get this without much fuss.
Rias is unsure about this, Fallen angel coming to her about a conspiracy in Grigori, she doesn't know what to think, But Akeno does.
"Why should we listen to you? You could be lying" Akeno glares at the Fallen angel, Rias understands Akeno's hate for the Fallen due to her past.
"In exchange for Raynare, we will leave your territory, you can even keep the Sacred Gear Nun, I know that's what you really want" Kalawarna said, knowing this is why the devils are now attacking the ritual.
"What Kalawarna" Mittelt complains.
"Shut up Mittelt, I'm trying to stop a war, Azazel-sama put his faith in me and I won't let you make it any worse" Kalawarna warns her, not letting her ego affect this.
"You need to keep her in check" Akeno comments, Mittelt grits her teeth but Kalawarna holds her back.
"I'd rather see it myself, if you're coming with us," Rias said, willing to work with her if she goes in front of them.
"So you can stab us in the back, yeah no way" Mittelt said, while she was willing to follow Kalawarna orders, no way was she following the Devils.
"Oh but you leader said you need to make it up to us" Akeno said sweetly, making Mittelt mad.
"Don't push your luck Gremory, Azazel-sama is very genus with the Scared Gear user, I know that's the only reason you choose now to attack" Kalawarna said, narrowing her eyes at the devils.
"That is not true, I'm here to save the innocent who suffer from the ritual you are going to her" Rias said, not liking the way Kalawarna is painting her.
"Our younger members are going to save her," Akeno said, getting angry as well.
"Please, how many people did the stray exorcist kill before you got involved, we were here how long now? Now you get two Sacred Gear users as your slave's because of us, really you should thank us" Kalawarna points out, without them Gremory wouldn't even have her Sacred Gear users.
"They are not slaves" Rias shouted, her magic flaring, but Kalawarna isn't intimated.
"Whatever you tell them, doesn't change what they are" Kalawarna said, walking away with Mittelt following, sticking her tongue at them.
"Now you can follow me so we can stop the ritual, or let your not-slaves get killed" Kalawarna walk with Mittelt following, the little girl gives them the finger.
"I don't like this Rias" Akeno said, her history with Fallen Angels against her, Rias isn't far behind.
"I don't either, but if what they say is true then we need to go to the others' ' Rias said, running forward with Akeno to the abandoned Church.

The four went down the staircase, Issei led them in the front.
"Possibly at the end of this passage…Because this smell is that person's…" Koneko spoke, Nagumo noticed her smelling the air, and maybe she wasn't human when she turned into a devil.
"Is that it?" Issei said, they reached a large door.
"Possibly. I'm sure there are groups of Exorcists and Fallen Angels inside. Are you ready?" Kiba asked, Issei, Nagumo and Koneko nodding as he continued
"Okay. Then Nagumo helped me open the door…." Kiba said, both he and Nagumo prepared to open the door only to find that it opened by itself with a loud creak, the room inside becoming visible as a voice called out.
"Welcome Devils" Raynare spoke from the other end of the room, priests standing between the four and her, each holding sword handles as Issei gaze locked onto the girl attached to the cross.
"Asia!" Issei called out, Asia looked up at Issei, smiling at seeing him, a solitary tear dropping from her eye.
"Issei-san?" Asia spoke.
"I've come to save you," Issei shouted back.
"It's a touching reunion, but it's too late. The ritual is about to finish now" Raynare spoke, Asia's body started to glow, using his speed to charge past the Exorcists as Asia screamed in pain, both Exorcists got shot in the head.
"Asia!" Issei shouted, The priests tried to surround Issei; only to get knocked back by Koneko and Yuuto.
"…Please don't touch me," Koneko spoke as she punched away one of the priests.
"Looks like I will have to go full throttle from the beginning. I hate priests. If there are this many, then I won't hold back to devour your light" Kiba added, as he slashed out with his darkness sword
Nagumo pulls out both Freischütz to shoot the reach of the stray priests.
A large light came from Asia's body, Raynare catching it in her hand,
"This is it! This is the power that I craved for, for a long time! Sacred Gear! With this, I will be loved!" Raynare spoke victoriously, she pressed the light into her chest as she hugged it, and the green light covering the room before fading to show the Fallen was covered in green coloured light as she laughed.
"Ahahahaha! I finally have it! The supreme power! With this…! With this I can become a supreme Fallen Angel! With this I can pay back all those who were looking down on me!" Raynare said.
Issei kicked a priest into the wall before hurrying straight to Asia, Yuuto, Nagumo and Koneko supporting him by taking out any priest getting in their way.
Asia looked lifeless while she was still attached to the cross, Issei quick to untie her bindings before holding her in his arms as she seemed to look up at him with tired eye
"I…Issei-san…" Asia spoke to him.
"Hey Asia, I came to take you back," Issei replied as she smiled slightly.
"…Yes." Asia spoke
"It's futile" Raynare retorted with a smirk as she looked at the pair.
"Possessors whose Sacred Gear is taken away from their body will die. That girl is going to die." Raynare explains to them
"Give her Sacred Gear back!" Issei shouted angrily, Raynare only laughing.
"There's no way that I will give it back. I even lied to my superiors to get my hands on this. I will kill all of you as well to erase all evidence." Raynare said,
"You're a bitch! First you attack me from behind and then you do this" Issei spoke up angrily, starting to build up a crimson aura into his gauntlet.
"Fufufu. I believed at the time you had a greater power that would mean I'd lose in a straight up fight…but instead you had that ordinary Sacred Gear inside you" Raynare taunted.
"Raynare!" Yukio shouted in rage
"Ahahaha! I don't want a rotten brat like you calling my name!" Raynare sneered, not feeling what was building up inside the brown haired teen.
Nagumo felt Issei power was growing at a large rate.
"Issei-kun! Our formation is at a disadvantage while we're protecting that girl! So go upstairs at once! We'll make a path for you! Now, hurry!" Kiba spoke as he took down more of the priests, Issei glaring at Raynare as he picked up Asia gently in his arms.
"Hold on, Asia" Issei spoke softly, he turned to see Koneko, Nagumo and Kiba had made a path for him as he spoke
"Kiba-san, Koneko-chan, Nagumo-san don't go losing" Issei shouted,
"Of course" Kiba spoke with a smile as Nagumo reloads.
"Don't get distracted" Nagumo said, while Koneko nodded
"…Right" Koneko added
Issei rushed out of the room, clutching Asia tightly to avoid her getting hurt again.

Issei panted as he laid Asia onto one of the pews, her face blue.
"Just wait a bit! You'll be fine soon, Asia" Issei spoke to her, Asia smiled as she took one of Issei's hands, Issei feeling bad at the lack of any warmth or strength in her hand.
"…I was…happy…that I had a…friend…even for a short while….If I were to be born again….will you become my friend once more…" Asia spoke weakly.
"Don't say that…you'll be fine" Issei spoke, tears running down his cheeks as he tried to smile at her, her hand patting Issei's cheek.
"…You even cry for someone like me…now…I…can…." Asia spoke as her hand dropped slowly.
"…Thank you…" Asia spoke, Issei rested her hand on her stomach as he wiped his eyes clear of tears.
"Raynare is going to die for this…." Issei spoke with a tone filled with rage
"You really think you can injure me with my power now…" Raynare spoke with a smirk from behind him, Issei turning to look at her.
"That was Asia's power…Give it back!" Issei shouted
"Impossible…" She spoke as she raised her arm which had a cut and a bullet graze on it.
"Look at this. This is the wound I got from the "Knight" boy while I was coming here and I avoid the bullets from the other one…Wonderful isn't it. I can heal any kind of wound. To us Fallen Angels, who lost the protection of God, that child's Sacred Gear is a special present" Raynare placed a hand onto her wound healing it easily
"I don't care about you assholes!" Issei roared, Raynare sneering.
"How dare you!? Just for that I'm going to make your death painful as possible" Raynare shouted
"Bring it! When I kill you I will bring Asia back!" Issei shouted as he slipped into a fighting stance
[DRAGON BOOSTER!] The jewel on the gauntlet shone brightly before mysterious marks started to appear on the gauntlet as power started to flow into Issei, who charge to Raynare, who dodged easily.
"I will explain it so even a dummy can understand. It's a simple power difference. I have a power of 1000. You have a power of 1. You cannot shorten the gap between us. Even with the ability of that Sacred Gear, the power doubled is only 2. It can't be helped. How can you win against me!?" Raynare spoke,
[Boost] The mark on the jewel changed again as Issei felt the extra power course through his body, charging with his "Knight" class speed only to miss again.
"Wow! Did your power increase a bit? Still it's not enough!" Raynare spoke, seeing Issei growing stronger.
[Boost] Issei gauntlet glows again, boosting his powers, this time catching Raynare off by a little.
"You boost again! But how?" She prepared a spear of light to throw at Issei, the teen batting it away with his gauntlet as charged.
"Guaaaahhh!" Raynare managed to dodge again, only to find herself having to work harder to dodge his attacks around the sanctuary until Issei's gauntlet shouted again.
[Boost!] Raynare was surprised as Issei dodged her spear of light before bringing the gauntlet over to her head, then smashing her into the ground with a spider web under her.
Issei lifted his arms again, Raynare's wounds healing within a few moments before she was smashed further into the ground by his next hit.
"Let's end this Sacred Gear!" Issei shouted, lifting the gauntlet again as the jewel shouted, shining bright piercing light.
[Explosion] the gauntlet grew again, yellow spike opening in the back, his fingers became claws and green markings appeared on it.
"Impossible. What is this? Why? That Sacred Gear is supposed to be "Twice Critical", a Sacred Gear that doubles the power of the possessor… …Why didn't I sense this power that surpasses mine before…the wave of demonic power is that of a middle-class…no… that of a high-class Devil…" Raynare spoke shocked as her wounds heal her body which was still weak. Issei's eyes widened slightly at that comment, sparing a glance to his red gauntlet which had changed during the fight as
Raynare continued in denial
"Lies! This is all lies! I am the Fallen Angel that has the ultimate healing power! I turned into a superior being by obtaining this "Twilight Healing"! I received the right to be loved by Azarel-sama and Kokabiel-sama! I wouldn't lose to someone low like you…"
Raynare flew into the air, a spear of light in each hand, which she threw at him. Two spears hit Issei's legs but it doesn't stop Issei as he pulls them out, with a serious look on his face as he continues staring at her shocked expression, waves of killing intent coming from Issei's body.
"No…!" Raynare shouted as she tried to make her escape flying up into the air.
"Oh no you don't!" Issei called, jumping forward to grab her leg before throwing her on the ground.
"I won't let you get away, Bitch" Issei said, about to punch her again, until he felt a tap on his shoulder, spinning to see only to find Kiba standing there
"Good work. You actually beat a Fallen Angel" Kiba spoke with a smile, supporting him for a moment before Issei took a sigh of relief to calm down.
"Thanks…what took you so long?" Issei asked, as Kiba signed.
"Buchou told me not to interfere," Kiba said, looking confused at him as a familiar voice continued.
"That's right. I believed that you were able to beat the Fallen Angel Raynare" Issei turn to see Rias smiling as she walked towards him as he looked confused
"Buchou? Where did you come from?" Issei asked, confused.
"From the basement, I finished my business, so I used the magic circle to transport me here. I was nervous because it was my first time transporting to a church" Rias spoke,
"Get used to it Devil, you're in God's house now" another voice said, making Kiba and Issei turn to see a cute little Gothic Lolita girl with fallen wings and other familiar fallen angels.
"Hey you're that Fallen from before" Issei pointed, seeing the Fallen angel nearly killed him but Rias and Akeno scare her away.
"Yeah not sorry about that, I had a job to do before," Kalawarner said, walking forward to Raynare, as Koneko walked by glaring at the fallen angels and Nagumo beside her.
"Hey Kalawarner" Nagumo greets, to the surprise of the others.
"Nagumo" Kalawarner greets back.
"Wait you know his devil/Fallen angel" both Issei and Mittelt asked Nagumo and Kalawarner.
"Yeah, we meet and I take her to dinner," Nagumo said, to the peerage shock.
"It's true, he was the one that pointed out this traitor," Kalawarner said, glaring at Raynare who was knocked out.
"Nice gauntlet Issei" Nagumo said, seeing the gauntlet now changed with claws and spikes.
"Yeah I think I figured it out," Issei said, showing the gauntlet to them.
"Excellent, just what I expected from my servant" Rias spoke as she tapped Issei's nose, causing him to blush slightly before Akeno asked with a troubled face
"Oh my. The church is in a mess. Is it alright, Buchou?" Akeno said, looking at Rias who looked at the fallen angels.
"This place was a dump when we got here" Mittelt said, not really caring for the place, both looking at Raynare unconscious.
"Let's wake her up, Akeno" Rias orders her queen.
"Yes" Akeno nodded as she flipped her hand up before using her magic to make water appear, quickly dropping it onto Raynare and causing her to cough a few times before looking around, seeing Mittelt and Kalawarner
"Mittelt, Kalawarner, help me" Raynare shouted, seeing her fellow Fallen angels, but Mittelt looks away while Kalawarner glares at her.
"Raynare, you have defied Azazel-sama's orders, Grigori washed its hands with you" Kalawarner said, to Raynare horror.
"What?! No! I did it for Azazel-sama! I followed his orders! You can't!" Raynare stands up, but Kalawarner punches her down.
"You were lied to, and now you will suffer the consequences" Kalawarner said, turning her back on her as Mittelt follows. Raynare looks devastated as she looks down, Rias looks at her.
"How are you doing, Fallen Angel, Raynare?" Rias asked,
"Fuck off, Gremory" Raynare spoke as Rias smiled.
"Hello, my name is Rias Gremory. I'm the next heir of the Gremory Household. It will be for a short while, but nice to have your acquaintance" Rias greets. Raynare glared at the devil.
"I knew that there were a few Fallen Angels plotting something in this town. But I ignored it because I thought that it was a plan that involved a whole group of Fallen Angels. I'm not foolish enough to take on all of the Fallen Angels. Then I heard that the Fallen Angels were moving around secretly so I went to talk to them, taking Akeno with me. And they told me about a conspiracy against both parties" Rias explains, looking at Kalawarner and Mittelt, as she gathers magic in her hand.
"Getting hit by a single shot won't leave a trace. The princess of the Duke who has the power of "destruction" Buchou is a powerful Devil who is called a genius among the group of young Devils" Kiba commented like he was bragging about his master.
"One of her nicknames is "Crimson-Haired Ruin-Princess", you know? That's whom you were up against'' Akeno added as she smiled, Issei eyes widening at hearing the nickname before noticing that his master was looking over his red gauntlet again as she spoke to herself shocked
"…Red Dragon. Until recently there wasn't a mark like this…So that's what it is…"
"I found out the main reason why Issei was able to beat a Fallen Angel" Rias said quietly before turning to Raynare,
Nagumo rolls his eyes at this, basically Issei holds the Boosted Gear, also known as the Red Dragon Emperor's Gauntlet, housing Ddraig, the Red Dragon Emperor, which allows the user to double their powers every ten seconds without limit until the user reaches their limit, whether it's their physical abilities, magic or demonic power based on the user. It has been described as allowing the wielder to surpass the powers of God and Four Great Satans for a temporary amount of time.

Well no, due to Issei's weak body he can only boost a few times and no one with common sense is letting him boost to surpass them, so Issei is a setting duck unless he boosts himself enough.
"But it's interesting. Just to be expected from my Servant-kun. Issei is an interesting boy, just like I thought. Fufufu, I'm going to spoil you even more" Rias smiles, Issei blush deep at the comment noticing her smile which was slightly scary as Issei bowed his head
"I'm sorry, Buchou. When I said I was going to save Asia…I didn't care about what would happen to you and the others…But you were working to help me…and I…" Issei spoke, but Rias just patted his head as Issei's eyes turned slightly teary.
"I couldn't… protect Asia, Buchou…" Issei said
"You don't have to cry. No one would blame you after seeing you now" Rias spoke softly before Issei tried to rebuke it
"But…I…" Rias wiped his tears away with her fingers.
"It's okay. You weren't experienced as a Devil yet. That's it. Become strong. I'm going to make you work hard from now on, so be prepared, my Pawn, Issei" she spoke soothingly
"Right…" Issei replied with a nod, Rias' eyes turning sharp and ruthless as she moved towards Raynare, who became scared.
"I will have you disappear, Fallen Angel-san…Of course, I will retrieve that Sacred Gear back as well" Rias spoke with a cold tone, Issei's eyes widened at that comment as his hopes rose, maybe they can still save Asia.
"You can't be serious!? This healing power is for Azazel-sama and Kokabiel –sama, guys please…" Raynare tries to rebuke, asking for help from Mittelt and Kalawarmer, Mittelt looks away.
"Azazel-sama is letting them have it as repercussions" Kalawarmer said, Rias aiming her palm towards Raynare.
"To live your life for love is beautiful. But you are too tainted with dirt. You have no elegance. And I don't allow that." Rias said, Raynare looks at Issei, changing her looks to appear more innocent.
"Please Issei-kun save me from the devil" Raynare begs him, but Issei turns away.
"You're just sad, no self-respect for yourself or anything," Nagumo said, seeing this two-faced bitch getting what she deserved.
"Now disappear" The magical ball shot by Rias left nothing of Raynare aside from the feathers around the church and an unusual feeling.

Nagumo steps outside to see Kakawarmer and Mittelt about to leave.
"Not going to see the new slave?" Kalawarmer asked, Nagumo shrugs.
"I'll meet her tomorrow, we have an eternity to know one another" Nagumo said, knowing Rias is going to turn the Nun into a devil.
"I told Azazel-sama about you, he thanks you for getting me to think straight," Kalawarmer said, remembering Azazel getting interested in Nagumo.
"Well that's good I hope" Nagumo said, not sure what to make of it.
"It's very good, Nagumo, expect to see him sometime soon" Kalawarmer smiles at him as she lets her wings out, flying away with Mittelt.
"Who is that?" Mittelt asked her.
"Someone who sees through bullshit" Kalawarmer said, with a blush as they flew back to base.
Nagumo signs as he looks at the abandoned church.
"At Least I can keep all the light weapons and that Scared Gear cross thing" Nagumo said, looking around the broken church as he thinks about what he learn about today and what to do with it.
