Hello! Welcome to my first fanfic. I'm messing around with some ideas, so I wondered if Naruto got hold of the hidden blades (the dual version) and became a master assassin during the three-year training trip. Of course, I'm only mixing some elements of Assasin's Creed, like the Eagle Vision Blending mechanic and the overall stealth. I will also add the phantom blades from AC Unity.
This Naruto will be OOC and Smarter, so be aware of that.
Naruto and Kurama are already friends.

"Oii! ero-sennin! Where are you?!" shouted one Uzumaki Naruto as he wandered around a wooded area looking for his sensei. "I swear to god if you left me here again," grumbled the blond as he stumbled through some bushes only to find an old-looking temple that seemed abandoned for a long time. The temple had a symbol that the blond did not recognize (The assassin's creed symbol).
"Huh, I've never seen that one before," the blonde said out loud. Kurama spoke up, "That kit is your clan's version of ANBU. They are the assassins. Those guys are one of the most feared groups in the whole elemental nation. Their stealth is absolutely ridiculous, and they are the true masters of assassination, able to kill someone in a crowded area without someone noticing until the person is lying on the ground dead. Although they were wiped out during the invasion at Uzushiogakure, your mother is a survivor and a member of the group and, to my knowledge, the only surviving assassin." the blonde's eyes widened at that as he entered the old temple the boy found a scroll on a table and tried to open it, but it did not budge.
"Try smearing your blood on the scroll. It might be a blood seal," informed Kurama, and the blonde nodded. He cut his palm and smeared his blood on the scroll, and it glowed suddenly. Tendrils of ink attached themselves to Naruto, and the blond screamed in surprise and pain as the ink started glowing white. After a few minutes, the pain stopped as the tendrils of ink disappeared. The boy dropped to the ground, panting, and the scroll fell to the ground in front of him. The blonde slowly picked up the scroll and slowly unravelled it; the writing was hurried, and there seemed to be splatters of dried blood on the parchment. It read:
Hello, Member of the Uzumaki clan. If you are reading this, then you are worthy enough to open this scroll. My name is Kenji Uzumaki, the founder of the Assasins. Inside this scroll are my hidden blades. They have a function called the phantom blades for long-range assassinations. I have also included my robes inside as a gift. However, beware, the robes have a reputation, and you can be easily recognised by anyone who knows me for my reputation of being the most dangerous assassin I made sure of that I don't have much time. My attackers are closing in on my position. I have included the scrolls on making a Hidden Blade and my teachings on becoming a true assassin here. Goodbye, my ancestor, and may the souls of our brothers and sisters guide you into becoming a true assassin.

Naruto unsealed the contents of the scroll and picked up the Hidden Blades. The blonde grinned. "This is so cool!" he said. The boy wore the blades and tested them out as he extended them and retracted them repeatedly. Suddenly, a dart shot out of the hidden blade as something reminiscent of a crossbow extended below the mechanism of the blades. "This will be useful," he said to himself. As he retracted the Phantom Blade and picked up the robe, he noticed the inside was riddled with seals, although the blonde didn't know what it was for. (Ezio's robes from AC Brotherhood). The blonde picked up the scrolls and put them in his pockets, deciding to read them for later.
"Oi Gaki, where are you!?" he heard the voice of Jiraiya call out. The blonde grinned as he ran out of the temple and towards Jiraiya's voice. Sensing his student's approach, the man turned towards him only to freeze at seeing the robes.
"HOLY SHIT, GAKI, WHERE DID YOU GET THAT!" the man shouted with a pale face. The man knew that robe. He had heard countless stories about it and the man who once wore it. Many people thought the robe was destroyed when Kenji Uzumaki died. The blonde grinned and explained what he found inside the temple to his sensei.
After a few minutes of processing the information, the man shook his head. "You do know that there will be a massive target on your back once someone becomes aware of a new assassin with the robe of Kenji Uzumaki. Do you?" asked the sannin, rubbing his temples. The blonde nodded. "Yeah, I kinda expect that, but I will train hard so I can protect my most precious people!" the blonde declared passionately. The sannin nodded in approval at his student's words.
"Now then, I will start training you to the ground tomorrow. Be ready, naruto," the sannin said with a serious face, and the boy nodded. "I will also let my clones read the scrolls that I found," the blonde said, and the sannin nodded.
1 Year Later
'A year has already passed,' thought Naruto, smiling as he walked around town wearing his casual clothes. He had ditched the orange jumpsuit and pants after several days of persuasion by Jiraiya. Even then, it took a dozen ramen for Naruto to accept (Poor Jiraiya and his wallet). The blonde now wore a white robe with blue highlights with, a mesh shirt underneath and a pair of black pants and sandals. His personality also took a complete 180. He is now calmer and silent, and his temper has cooled down a bit after reading the scroll. He is also hard to anger, seeing as he has quite control over his emotions, and only in extreme situations will the blonde show anger. However, he still retains his cheerful personality. He can switch to what Jiraiya calls Assasin's Calm. This Naruto is silent, focused, and quite deadly, and thanks to a seal in his assassin's robe, the boy's movements cause no sound. His chakra is suppressed so much that only a sensor with years of training and experience can sense him.
The blonde learned what is called Blending. It allows him to blend into crowds, making him disappear. In most people's eyes, only a dojutsu like the Sharingan or Byakugan can see him, but even then, the user has to focus on something notable about his appearance. This makes the blonde a master of stealth, and from what the scroll says, if he completely mastered it, he would be able to assassinate someone in a crowd without someone noticing him.
Naruto also learned something called Eagle Vision. This allows him to see his targets or certain things of interest to him that he can see in Gold. This Sixth sense is what allows Naruto to identify his target without directly seeing them and enables him to see through walls if he senses them behind said walls. Jiraiya commented that it is almost like a dojutsu as he sees Naruto's eyes glow whenever he uses Eagle Vision.
Jiraiya also taught him how to master his wind affinity, and with the use of shadow clones, he managed to master it in a month. He had also learned that he has a second affinity for lightning, but he had not yet done the leaf crumbling exercise to master his lightning affinity.
Naruto grinned, seeing his sensei walk past him without noticing him. He has been doing this for several days now that he has mastered Blending whenever Jiraiya walks past him, the blonde will jump on the Sage's back, surprising the man, and every time he does that, the man will scream like a little girl, the blonde will then run off as Jiraiya tried to follow him but always ending up losing the blonde gaki, but today naruto did not do that instead he walked alongside his sensei and tapped his shoulder the man's eyes widened at seeing naruto "Geez gaki stop doing that, or else I will get a heart attack" Jiraiya said calming his heart down as naruto laughed "Sorry ero-sennin I couldn't help it" the blonde grinned Jiraiya just shook his head as they exited the town.
"I just got a message from Tsunade. You got a stealth assassination mission." Jiraiya said seriously. The blonde nodded as he took a deep breath. 'My first kill. I hope I can do it.' he thought as Jiraiya explained the mission.
"Your target is a leader of a crime group. His name is Ryu Asakawa. He was last spotted inside the town up ahead a couple of days ago. You may start once we get there." Jiraiya said, and Naruto nodded.
"Any noteworthy appearances?" the boy asked. "He is always wearing a white suit with a black tie. His hair is green and tied into a high ponytail," Jiraiya said. The boy nodded, memorising his target's appearance.
"Anything else?" the blonde asked and paled when he saw his sensei's face. The man was grinning and giggling. 'this can't be good,' he thought. Kurama, just waking up from his nap, also snickered seeing the old pervert's face. "You have a partner with you. She will meet with us once we get to town, and she will be accompanying us for the last two years of your training," Jiraiya said as he giggled perversely 'damn pervert,' Naruto thought. 'I wonder who she is?' the blonde thought.
A Couple Of Hours Later
Naruto and Jiraiya walked through the town, searching for the hotel the man mentioned his partner would be at. Naruto sighed as Jiraiya's perverted giggles kept increasing, and it was starting to irritate the blonde. "Shut up, Ero-sennin," he said as he kicked Jiraiya. The man dodged it and snickered once again. "Were here," the sannin said before Naruto could stab him with his hidden blades.
The sage and the blonde entered the hotel looking for the kunoichi. "Hey, Naruto! Jiraiya-sama! over here!" The blonde heard his and Jiraiya's name and turned to look for the source of the voice, only to see Akimi, his childhood friend, sitting at a table. He smiled, remembering the last time they talked.
Flashback 1 Year Ago
"Be careful, Naruto," Akimi said as she hugged Naruto tightly. "Yeah, I'll be careful, Akimi-chan," the blonde said with a grin as he returned the hug. Jiraiya, seeing this, grinned. "Hurry up and just say goodbye to your girlfriend, Gaki. You can kiss her after we return." The two genin, hearing this, flushed red and quickly broke the hug. "A-ah ye-yes, see you later, Naruto," Akimi said as she quickly left the duo with a hurried wave as she tried to hide her blush.
Naruto glared at Jiraiya, still red in the face. "Way to ruin the moment, ya old pervert," he grumbled as he tried to hide his blush. The sannin laughed loudly as they left the village.
Flashback End
"Yeah, it's been a while, Akimi-Chan," the blonde grinned as he approached the table with Jiraiya.
Akimi is a short girl with snow-white hair. She wore a white jacket with yellow highlights, standard black shinobi pants, and sandals. Her white hair fell loosely to her back, reaching just below her waist. Naruto also noted the chunin vest she wore.
Naruto sat down with Jiraiya in front of akimi. "So you are my partner for this mission, huh? And you made chunin! Congrats," he said, and Akimi nodded with a bright smile.
"Yep, got promoted during the Chunin exams in Suna a couple of months ago," she said as Jiraiya congratulated her.
"So when are we starting the mission?" naruto asked. "We can start later, but for now, I want to know what you have learned," the white-haired girl said with a curious look at Naruto and Jiraiya. The two nodded and explained what Naruto had learned during the past year.
A Few Hours Later
Naruto and Akimi walked through the crowded streets of town, talking about Naruto's Blending ability. "So it allows you to disappear into a crowd completely? That is useful. Can I learn it?" Akimi asked with curiosity. The boy nodded his head. "Yeah, you can, but you need a lot of training. The Uzumaki have an easier time learning this because we are natural at stealth, but for non-Uzumaki like you, it can take years. I can teach you later, but beware, the training is hard, and it may take you a year to learn and a few extra years to fully master." he said, and Akimi nodded happily.
Naruto activated his Eagle Vision, looking for his and Akimi's target. After several minutes of searching, he spotted the man walking with several thugs.
"Found him. Follow me, Akimi-chan," the blonde said as he started to walk towards his target, Akimi following behind him. The duo tailed the crime boss until they reached the man's hotel. The two jumped up to the roof of a building and began planning their approach.
"I can see two thugs guarding the outside entrance and another one inside. We can enter through the rooftop, as it has only two guards, and the first and second floors have too many thugs. Our target is on the third floor inside a bedroom with two thugs guarding the door." Naruto said, and Akimi nodded.
"Let's go," Naruto said as his personality switched to Assasin's. Calm. The duo silently walked up the rooftop and dispatched the guards guarding the door. They silently walked through the corridor and towards the bedroom. Naruto stopped akimi when they were near the two guards. "I'll shoot the farthest one with my phantom blade. You will take the other," he said, and akimi nodded.
"3…2…1… go," he whispered as he shot the dart, hitting the farthest thug in the neck. The thug gurgled as he fell to the ground. Akimi dashed to the remaining guard and silently slit his throat.
Naruto nodded at Akimi as they approached the door. Naruto activated his Eagle Vision and confirmed that his target was sleeping. The boy silently opened the door and approached the crime boss. He extended his hidden blade and, with a swift motion, slit the man's throat.
The blonde exited the room, his eyes unfocused. "It's done," he said, and Akimi nodded, knowing what the boy Was going through after all. She just had her first kill a week after the blonde left. "Let's head back, Naruto," she said, and the boy nodded as they headed back to the hotel they were staying at.
At The Hotel
Naruto and Akimi entered the room they shared with Jiraiya. The man was sitting at the nearby table, looking at the moon.
"You're back," the sage said simply as he turned towards the two Naruto. He just nodded merely as he sat in his bed; Akimi looked at him worriedly but decided to stay silent.
"Want to talk about it?" the sage asked the boy, who was tearing up.
"I-I'm prepared to do it, but this feeling, it's like I am regretting it! even though I know that man has done horrible things!" The blonde started to cry.
"i-I-im a mo-monster…" Akimi hugged the boy as the blonde began to break down.
"You are not a monster! Naruto-kun, you are the kindest person I have ever met, and I know it's hard, but it is part of life as shinobi to kill. Think about what that man would have done to people. If we let him live," Akimi said, rubbing comforting circles around the boy's back as Naruto hugged her tightly.
Jiraiya, seeing this, smiled sadly, remembering the similar reaction of the boy's father towards his first kill and how Kushina comforted Minato the same way. 'I should leave them alone for a little while,' he thought as he left through the windows, letting akimi comfort the boy.
A Few Weeks Later
After Naruto's breakdown, the boy remained silent for a while before his personality returned to normal. Currently, the boy is resting under the shade of a tree, watching Akimi train at using Blending with his shadow clones henged as different types of civilians acting as a crowd for Akimi to move through without being seen, his eyes carefully followed Akimi as she walked through the crowd he smiled as he loses sight of Akimi a couple of times.
"Alright, Akimi-chan, new record: I lost sight of you six times instead of three earlier," the boy said with a grin as the girl cheered at the new record.
Naruto henged the clones into several buildings with several hiding spots, leaving three clones. The two clones pulled out a kunai as the other clone started walking around the buildings, the two clones following behind slowly but still enough to see the clone walking in front. Naruto found out during his training with Jiraiya that his henge was solid, so Naruto used it to simulate different scenarios for Akimi to go through.
"Alright, now, try killing the unarmed clone without the two guards following it, noticing you," Naruto explained.
"Can I-" Akimi started to say but was cut off by the blonde
"No, you can't use the smoke bomb." The girl pouted as she attempted to kill the clone without the guards noticing.
Naruto laughed as Akimi failed again. 'She didn't notice the archway between the tall buildings my clones would walk through every few minutes she could assassinate the two guards. I wonder how long it's gonna take for her to notice it's just a little above her field of vision.' he thought, closing his eyes and counting the minutes. At the 12-minute mark, he received the memories of the two guards and, shortly after that, the memory of the unarmed clone. He opened his eyes, seeing Akimi approach him with a strained smile.
"Took you long enough to notice it," he said with a smirk as Akimi sent him an annoyed glare.
"you placed it just above my field of vision. No fair," she said as she sat beside him. With an annoyed huff, the boy laughed.
"Always be aware of your surroundings as in every mission, one missed detail in your surroundings can be disastrous and can lead to casualties like a simple twig that you can step on that can alert your enemies or a vantage point that you can assassinate someone from." The blonde lectured, and the girl nodded, taking the advice to heart.
"Anyways, let's head back to the hotel. I heard Jiraiya has something important to say to me," Naruto said. Akimi nodded as they sat up and followed Naruto back to the hotel.
Hotel
Naruto and Akimi sat down with Jiraiya at the table inside their room. "So what is this important talk, Ero-Sennin?" the blonde asked. Akimi snickered quietly at the look on Jiraiya's face.
"Stop calling me that, Gaki!... Anyways, I have something to say to you as I feel you are ready to know it," the man said with a serious face. Naruto and akimi straightened at the sage's tone.
"It is time for you to know who your parents are," The man said with a grave tone, and Naruto instantly perked up with Akimi looking at the man with curiosity. "Who?" he asked as Jiraiya prepared himself 'I hope he doesn't get too angry at me.'
"They are Uzumaki Kushina and… Namikaze Minato," he said slowly, watching the boy's reaction. The boy's eyes were wide open as his mouth fell open in shock.
"W-Why?" he asked the man after his brain processed the information. Kurama is also strangely quiet. as the fox looks at his partner with sadness, knowing he has a hand in killing the boy's parents. 'If it wasn't for that damn Uchiha.' he thought bitterly as he listened to Jiraiya through the blonde's ears.
"They don't have a choice. It is either let the Kyuubi continue attacking the village, killing everyone, including you, or seal it inside a baby, which are you saving you and the entire village, and how could they seal it into someone else's child if they weren't even willing to do it on their own." The man said as he closed his eyes. 'And here comes the hard part. I hope he doesn't kill me, and Kami forbids Akimi to join him.' The sage thought as he opened his eyes and prepared for the inevitable beating.
"I am also your Godfather." He said, shocking Naruto and Akimi. After a few moments, Akimi rose as killing intent raised out of her in waves, almost making the man piss his pants. "How could you! You left him all alone for years! Did you know how much pain he suffered?!" Akimi screamed at him as she started to walk towards the pale man, but she was stopped as a hand was placed on her shoulders.
"Na-Naruto?" she asked softly to the blonde who was looking at Jiraiya with no sense of emotion on his face or eyes.
"Let him explain himself first," the boy said as Jiraiya calmed his heart.
"After finding out your parents died, I raced back to the village thinking it was some cruel joke or a misinformation, but when I found out they were truly dead, I wanted to take you in, but I know it would only be dangerous for you if I took you in because of my constant need to travel from one village to another to keep my spy network in check and having you with me taking you to dangerous places is way too risky, and sensei agreed also keep in mind that the fact that the Kyuubi is sealed inside you was kept an SSS-Ranked secret that only I and Sensei are supposed to know after I left you in sensei's care about a year after your birth Danzo that fucking bastard leaked the information I don't know how but when one of my informants found out it was already too late and by then it was already too late and information about Akatsuki and their goals have also reached my ears. But I know that group is dangerous if left alone, so I did the only thing that I could, and I sent you money and that wallet you loved, Gama-chan." The man explained, and for a few minutes, naruto just stared at the man without a hint of emotion on the blonde's face while Akimi stared at the two, wondering what the blonde would do to his Godfather.
Jiraiya started to sweat after the first few minutes as the boy continued to look at him. "Look, I'm so-" the man began to say but was cut off as the blonde hugged him. The man stood there shocked, not expecting the blonde to hug him, but after a few seconds, he hugged him back as the emotions he kept in check and buried deep within his mind. He started to slowly surface as tears began to well up in his eyes.
"I forgive you, Ero-Sennin, but you have a lot of making up to do for missing my childhood." The blonde said as tears also fell from his eyes. 'I still have a family left,' he thought with a small smile.
"I know, kid and I intend to be with you and guide you to be the best shinobi that your parents will be proud of until I die," the man said as he closed his eyes. " Thank you for forgiving me, Naruto, and I will make sure your child will be the best that he can be… Minato, Kushina.' the man thought.
Akimi, seeing the two hug, smiled. 'I should let them have their moment,' she thought, leaving the room.

Sorry about the boring Mission, but I promise it will get better. I bet ya'll expect them to fight the bandits on the lower floors, huh?
