Day 120, 12:20 PM
UA High, Third Floor
"Who is this guy?" Mineta gasps as he hides behind his electric friend.
Kaminari gulps, Jirou standing beside him and Kurorio staring in horror at this man wearing restraints before him.
"Flesh," Moonfish whispers, "delicious flesh. Must have flesh. No, keep focused. Kill. Kill them all."
The PA system comes to life and a familiar old voice comes through. "Hello, UA High. I bet hearing this voice on the intercom was the last thing you expected. To those who don't remember me, my name is Tomura Shigaraki, leader of the League of Villains. I have but one announcement to make for all of UA: None of you are getting out of this place alive."
The League of Villains? Kaminari sweats hard. No, not again.
"Must... have... your... flesh!"
Moonfish shoots his teeth at them. Kaminari barely manages to sidestep the attack and avoid getting hit. The teeth don't pierce anyone else in the squad and they make a run for it but Moonfish wasn't having it. He fires his teeth at them once more, only for Kaminari and Kuroiro to grab their crushes and move them out of the way. On the ground, Kaminari looks up and sees Moonfish beginning to walk toward them. He retracts his teeth back into his mouth and the kids make a run for it.
"Kaminari, shock him!" Kuroiro orders.
"Do you want to be collateral damage?" Kaminari makes a run for it but Jirou stays behind.
"Let's see how you deal with this." She plugs her jacks into her boots.
She sends a soundwave toward Moonfish, making the deranged convict scream in pain, only for him to use his teeth to launch himself out of the doorway and into a vacant room.
Cancelling her attack, several sharp teeth come launching at them through the wall. Kaminari yanks Jirou to the side, saving her life at the very last second while the squad makes a run for it.
"I don't want to die!" Mineta cries. "I don't want to die!"
They sprint for the end of the hallway but Moonfish comes out and shoots his teeth, catching them at the other end of the hallway. Kaminari leaps to the ground, taking Jirou with him as the web of sharp teeth launches over them, nearly trapping them but they manage to keep survive yet another attack.
Jirou looks over at Moonfish as he stands there, watching them with hungry eyes. Yes, his face was exposed and he wasn't wearing his prison jumpsuit that covered nearly every inch of his face barring his mouth. He still had that device in his mouth to keep his lips tried apart so his teeth could operate without ugly restrictions.
With the web of teeth continuing to surround them, more teeth launch out of the planted teeth and at the students. Kaminari jerks his body to the left, simultaneously kicking Kirou in the side to save her. Even though he saved her life, she still took a bladed tooth to the shoulder. Screaming in pain, Moonfish retracts all his teeth back into his mouth and runs his tongue over them.
"Yes... blood. Tasty blood. Need more. I.. need MORE!"
He launches his teeth at the students once more.
You hurt Jirou, Kaminari realizes. You FUCKING hurt her!
Kaminari leaps to his feet and moves to the right while doing a sharp tooth over his shoulder. Covering his body in electricity, he grabs the tooth and sends electricity running along the teeth. Moonfish screams at the top of his lungs as he gets a mouthful of electricity and struggles. Convulsing, he tries to retract his teeth back into his mouth but the painful electricity keeps him in place.
Kaminari turns off the electricity only for a brief second so his friends can get through without running the risk of hurting themselves.
Once the students are clear, Kaminari stays behind and continues to electrocute Moonfish.
"Holy crap!' Mineta cries, "What the hell are we going to do?"
Jirou winces and clutches her shoulder hard before she looks at Moonfish. Looking to her left, she sees Kuroiro and Mineta looking at her before turning to the right and sees Komori with the same expression.
Her eyes widen. "Guys, I have a plan. This gangly tooth guy, whoever he is, he picked the wrong squad to mess with."
Kaminari sighs heavily as he pulls up his lightning bolt mask. He charges down to allow him a quick recharge. Moonfish's teeth retract back into his mouth and the deranged convict stumbles back. He falls on his back and immediately uses his teeth to help him sit up.
"Kill you... I'll kill you."
Kurorio merges into a shadow into the wall while holding onto Mineta with one hand. Kurorio zooms across the ceiling while Mineta begins pulling balls off his head.
"Take this, you stupid villain!"
As Moonfish prepares to shoot his teeth at them, he coughs suddenly.
Kaminari waves a hand in front of him. "What's that smell?" Turning around, he sees Komori with a wide grin on her face and a spray bottle in hand.
"Oh, nothing much shroom, just something to protect you."
Moonfish coughs and spits up a mushroom from his throat, leaving him off guard as Mineta covers him in his sticky balls. After throwing about seven balls on Moonfish's front and back, Jirou uses her speakers to hit him with another soundwave.
Moonfish screams and falls on his back, sticking to the ground and looking up at the ceiling in dismay. Trying to use his teeth once more, Mushrooms grow on the front of his teeth before moving up and covering his eyes. Even in the apocalypse, Moonfish needs his restraining jacket and this becomes the only time he regrets it. The mushrooms finish covering every inch of Moonfish, turning him into a monstrous blob of mushrooms with the shape of a human. Refusing to resign himself to his fate, he tries to launch his sharp teeth at them one more time before more mushrooms pile up in his throat, making him cough.
Kaminari slides over to Moonfish's position and touches him with electric fingers. He amps up the electricity so he's shocking him with 1.3 million volts as soon as the rest of the Kamisquad get out of the way.
Moonfish gives a muffled scream before his head goes limp and he lies unconscious.
Komori immediately comes over and begins removing the mushrooms from his mouth. She reaches in with disgust and removes the mushrooms from his throat to allow him to breathe.
"What are you doing?" Kurorio asks.
"Allowing him to breathe."
"He tried to kill us."
"I'm sorry, I just can't let him die."
Even in the apocalypse, we still had our morals...
... and so did the characters in the first two seasons of The Walking Dead before Ricktatorship came along.
Kurorio uses his quirk to zip to a supply closet and comes back with several rolls of duct tape. They tie Moonfish up before removing the device holding his lips apart and tape his mouth shut. With no other option, they toss him in the supply closet with Kaminari giving one more shock for good measure.
With Kendo
Pulling several students inside, Kendo, Tesutestu, and Manga look at the sleeping students before them. Tsuburaba, Shoda, Pony, and Awase sleep before the three, the poison gas outside having done a number on them. Carrying them to an empty room, they look out a window showing the backyard and continue to see the poisonous cloud of gas.
"Manga, you want to run an errand for me? Go check the west side of the school and see if there's smoke."
"Got it." Manga leaves and returns about four minutes later. "Nothing. As a precaution, I also checked the east side of the building, no gas but zombies are surrounding all sides."
"Except for the backyard. That means the gas is limited to the back of the school, most likely because that is where we parked the cars. If the League of Villains is attacking, we need to get the injured out of here."
"But what are we supposed to do?" the comic boy asks.
"Can you breathe in smoke?"
Manga nods. "Yeah. I still gotta breathe and I still get sore throats. I don't have a mouth and I still get sore throats!"
"Forget it," Tetsutetsu shouts, "I'm done waiting around. It's obvious that there is a villain out there with some kind of poison quirk. Unless we take them out, we're going to be sitting ducks. With zombies everywhere except the back, our only hope is to take out this guy. Come on, let's get out there and beat him to a pulp."
"And what do we do about the gas? We need gas masks, duh."
"Then we'll hold our breath. Either way, I'm going out there and taking out that villain."
Kendo's eyes widen. "Wait a second, I got an idea. Manga, use your quirk to create a path. Keep collateral damage to a minimum because we don't need more zombies coming in and killing us."
"Got it." He heads for the backdoor. "As soon as I open this door..."
"I'll charge headfirst and blast this guy all the way to hell!" Tetsutetsu yells with vigor.
Manga rips the door open. "WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!"
Three big WHOSH! words float out of Manga's mouth and into the smoke, causing some of the gas to disperse.
"What the hell?" Mustard gasps. "What's going on?"
A clear path to the backdoor of the school clears up and someone comes running in his direction. Mustard jumps out of his skin and draws his revolver. He fires at Tetsutestu, who manages to make his skin hard as steel before the bullet punctures him.
Mustard steps out of the way and fires more poison gas at Tesutestu. The steel boy holds his breath and begins to charge the young boy, only for Mustard to draw his gun at Manga and Kendo in the doorway.
Tetsutetsu jumps in front of Mustard's aim and absorbs the shot.
"Nice," Mustard smiles behind his mask, "always make sure that no matter what, you heroes save other good people. You haven't lost your touch, even after the sports festival."
Mustard fires the rest of his gun into Tetsutestu, hitting the boy in the chest and head, and knocking him down. Mustard quickly reloads and fires once more. He hits the steel boy in the groin, making him grunt in discomfort rather than pain.
Tetsutetsu puts his hand over his mouth, keeping him from breathing in the gas that starts to surround him after the WHOOSH! words disappear.
"I have to ask, steel boy." Mustard fires again. "Why do people fond over you? Why do people fond over such a brat like you, a one-trick pony? Is it because of where you went to school? If that's so..." He kicks Tetsutetsu in right between the legs, hitting him square in the testicles. "... this world deserved to die!"
Tetsutetus starts to see black as he picks himself up but Mustard fires at him again. Firinging two more times until he ran out of ammo, Kendo took a deep breath and ran out.
Kendo enlarges her hands and swings them at Mustard, causing more and more of his gas to disperse. Mustard shakily reaches into his pocket to pull out more bullets but a medium-sized WHACK! hits him in the head and knocks him off balance. Still out of bullets, he hastily picks himself up...
... and gets a fistful of Tetsutetsu's steel punch, who broke the gas mask defending the boy from his own poison cloud. Mustard falls to the ground, going completely limp with a large dent in the center of his face. His eyes go blank white with blood leaking from his nose along with a few teeth missing as well.
After what felt like forever, Tetsutetsu finally removed his hand from his mouth and allowed himself to exhale. Taking a deep breath with a smile, he looks down at the poison cloud boy.
"If the gas user is wearing a gas mask... then that means he's not immune to his own gas."
He laughs. "We did it." He turns off his quirk, the steel all but vanishing from his body. "We did it." He looks up into the sky. "We did."
"No," Kendo says with a smile. "You did it, Tetsutetsu."
Tetsutetsu looks down at Mustard's unconscious body after hearing an odd noise. Inspecting the unconscious boy, he sees what looks like mud starting to form around the boy before a few seconds later, the boy turns into mud himself. The muddy boy dissolves into a pile of itself before disappearing into nothing.
"What? What happened?"
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Kendo and Manga gasp.
Tetsutetsu falls to the ground, two bullets in his fleshly stomach and one in his chest near his sternum. Gasping for air, even when there is no gas around, he looks at Kendo and Manga, gulping for air like a fish with wide eyes.
BANG!
Tetsutetsu's forehead explodes with blood. His eyes roll to the back of his head and he falls to the ground.
BANG! BANG!
The last two bullets hit Kendo in the shoulder, making her lean forward crying. Manga grabs Kendo and pulls her to safety. He shuts the door behind them.
"We got to go help Tetsutetsu," Kendo screams, "we have to save him!"
"He's dead!" Manga shouts. "He's dead, Kendo!" His voice chokes up. "He's dead," he whispers silently, crying.
Sitting on the top of the fence of the barrier, Mustard reloads his gun and laughs. "Man, these UA brats, they are always so short-sighted. They didn't even consider the possibility that they should keep their guard up, even after they took down the villain. These kids still got a lot to learn." He aims at the kids hiding in the doorway and waits patiently.
SHING!
That word floating in the air cuts through Mustard's mask like a hot knife through butter and slices the young villain's cheek. Mustard screams and his mask falls off after another SHING! slices through it. Before he can comprehend what is happening to him, a WHACK! hits him across the face and sends him flying back. He catches himself before he falls off and aims the gun at Manga.
Manga sends one more word flying at Mustard.
SIZZLE!
Mustard screams and drops his gun, patting his hand down, suddenly feeling his limb on fire. The revolver drops to the ground and Manga quickly runs to pick it up. He retreats back into a position and aims the gun at Mustard.
"You can't use your quirk without a gas mask," Manga hoarsely says, "and you're nothing with your gun."
Still wincing from the sizzling pain in his hand, Mustard stares down Manga. "You're not going to shoot me; that wouldn't be in line with a hero-"
BANG!
Mustard falls over on the other side of the wall.
Manga sighs heavily. "That's for Tetsutetsu."
Second Floor, Classroom
With Uraraka and Tsu
"Hi darlings," Big Sis Magne smiles as she approaches Uraraka and Tsu.
"What the heck?" Tsu gasps. "Who is this guy?"
"I'm a girl," Big Sis Magne corrects.
"Ribbit, my bad. Sorry."
"No worries, dears, it's not the first time." She aims her magnet at them.
Uraraka and Tsu see themselves light up with a red color. Stunned, they try to make a run for it but find themselves stuck in place. A few seconds later, a glowing blue gecko comes flying towards them wielding an army of swords taped together.
Spinner aims his sword at them, ready to slice them in half.
Though she was unable to move from the spot, Uraraka still had her sword with her. She quickly draws it and deflects the incoming blow. Spinner crashes into the duo, knocking both of them down, but one of the swords cuts Tsu in the tongue, making her wince as she falls.
No longer glowing red or blue, the girls make a run for it, staying as far away from Big Sis Magne as they can.
Spinner leaps to his feet and holds the swords up. Uraraka draws her sword and holds it at arm's length.
"Ochako Uraraka," Spinner hisses, "I saw you at the sports festival." He swings his sword at them. Uraraka dodges the sword and throws a few strikes herself. The gecko manages to deflect each blow. Uraraka ducks, barely avoiding getting her head cut off, and goes for Spinner's ankle. Spinner's skin offers him some level of protection before he kicks her away.
Tsu tries to help but she is on the ground, her head under Big Sis Magne's boot and being crushed.
"TSU!" Uraraka cries out. "Hang on, Tsu."
Tsu tries to take action but the magnetic woman kicks Tsu several times across the face, stomping her nose in. When she is still away, she hammers the magnet down into her face, causing her skull and temple to bleed.
Spinner kicks Uraraka's sword out of her hands and rushes her. Uraraka backs into the wall and waits for the right moment. She ducks under his swords and makes him float before kicking him away. Spinner reaches out, trying to grab anything he can get his hands on before Uraraka runs and kicks him again.
"I don't think so." Big Sis Magne presses hard on Tsu's skull. "If you're thinking about taking out Spinner, I'll put this frog down."
Uraraka backs away as Spinner takes a swing at her and looks at her two opponents.
Damn it, what am I going to do? Two against one and one of them has a hostage. What am I supposed to do? And this is only a guess but I'm pretty sure the magnet that one has has a limit. She can repel people in one's direction but requires a certain range. If her range was unlimited, she would've pulled me toward her but she's not.
Spinner puts his free hand on the wall. He glues his feet to the wall as well. He crawls up the wall like an angry spider before making it to the ceiling above Uraraka. He leaps at her. Uraraka gets out of the way. Spinner misses but he firmly plants his feet on the ground, no longer floating in the air.
What, how is he doing that? How is he walking; I didn't release my Zero Gravity on him. Her eyes widen. Oh, so that's your quirk: you can climb the wall. What am I going to do, come on, Ochako, think. Think, think, think. Tsu's in trouble but if I get anywhere near the magnet one, then I'm in trouble.
She clutches the hilt of her sword hard. Come on, think of something. Think, think.
She sighs.
Let's hope this works. It didn't work in the sports festival but maybe...
Uraraka holsters her sword before grabbing a nearby wooden desk. Making it float, she rushes Spinner. Spinner laughs, swings the swords with both hands, and cuts the desk in half. The debris floats into the air above Spinner's head while Spinner continues to use his climbing abilities to keep his feet on the ground.
Tsu opens her eyes and sees what Uraraka is planning to do. She reaches out and tapes the floor, doing whatever she can to get Big Sis Magne's attention. Not seeing any other way, she decides to talk.
"Why are you doing this, ribbit?"
Big Sis Magne looks down at her. "Because we got nothing better to do. Because we're exercising our freedom from the chains of society."
"Chains of society?"
Uraraka sends several more floating desks to Spinner, who cuts them in half with ease.
"What chains of society," Tsu continues to ask.
Big Sis Magne laughs once more, not paying attention to the fight. "The chains of society that made us who we are. A dear friend of mine told me-"
"You're a member of the League of Villains; all they want to do is destroy."
"Not true, tree frog, the League of Villains wanted to create a world that abided by Stain's ideals. My friend, Spinner, is the biggest Stain fanatic I've ever met. Even to this day, he still tries to exercise Stain's right."
Uraraka sends three more desks flying at Spinner, but only two end up in pieces floating above Spinner's head while the other drifts elsewhere.
"Surviving is all that matters," Tsu desperately says upon noticing Big Sis Magne returning her attention to the fight. "How is surviving considering freedom?"
Magne looks down at her. "The only rule nowadays is to survive by any means necessary. There is no government, law, or order. Anything goes."
Uraraka bounces away from Spinner, looking at Tsu in the corner of her eye. She subtly gives a thumbs-up and Tsu nods.
Uraraka grabs the fire extinguisher in the corner of the room and makes a run for Spinner.
"Release."
The debris floating above Spinner's falls to the ground. Spinner laughs before he hears Magne cry.
Looking over, the desk that Uraraka sent drifting in the other direction, the one still intact, fell on top of Big Sis Magne's head from ten feet above the ground. UA classrooms had big ass doors and walls reaching the ceiling so there was more falling room.
Big Sis Magne screams from the pain jolting in her head and stumbles back.
"Mag!" Spinner yells. Before he can act, Uraraka sprays Spinner with the fire extinguisher. He coughs and covers his eyes, trying to get her before he feels a warm and long object wrap around his waist.
Tsu shoots her tongue at Spinner, catches him around the waist, and swings him with all her might into Big Sis Magne. They collide, accidentally headbutting the other and flying into the wall, leaving an impact crater behind as both villains fall to the ground.
"You little brats." Magne tries reaching for her magnet, only to find that it is out of reach in Tsu's hand. To keep things from escalating, Tsu uses her tongue to swing Magne's magnet into her face, knocking her unconscious instantly.
"You little pricks." Spinner manages to stand up. "None of you are real heroes; you're just pretenders. If Stain was still alive, he'd slice you both to pieces and feed you to piranhas."
"We'll see about that." Uraraka draws her sword and holds Spinner at swordpoint. Spinner roars and charges for Uraraka, taking the stab of the sword in his collarbone but ignores it only so he can charge her into the wall and put his hands around her throat.
Tsu picks up a desk with her tongue and swings it at the back of Spinner's head, knocking him out cold.
Uraraka tosses Spinner off of her like a mannequin. "Thanks a lot, Asui."
"I told you to call me 'Tus'," she slurs, still dizzy from the concussion Magne gave her.
With The Other Students On The First Floor
"Keep the zombies at bay," Iida orders the students as they push and shove as many zombies out of the windows as possible. With some zombies starting to climb in, all they can do is push them back out and buy more time.
Mashiro grabs a wooden chair and uses it as a weapon with Aoyama, Mina, Koji Koda, and Sato
Mina and Aoyama cover the door and they use their quirks to keep zombies at bay. Koji Koda uses his quirk on birds outside to scout for any zombies that might slip through the crowd and break in. Sato punches several zombies back and shoves them through the doors, making sure not to break skin or get any blood in his mouth or eyes.
No matter how hard Iida pushes on the door, the zombies get through and no matter how many times Mashiro uses a chair to knock zombies back, they continue to climb through the windows.
"I thought the windows were supposed to be state-of-the-art?" Mashiro complains.
"You can't trust anything nowadays," Mina snarks.
As the crowd continues to pile in through the windows with about a dozen zombies trying to get through, they pause and turn to observe something behind them. The survivors quickly use this opportunity to shove some zombies back before a familiar voice startles them.
"Guys, help me!"
Mina's eyes widen. "Kirishima!" She looks out the window and spots several zombies trying to attack Kirishima as he carries someone with him. His hardening quirk was active and he was using every inch of his might to shove zombies back as he moved and wads through the crowd. It was Kimura that he had with him, covered from head to toe in dried blood.
"Come on, Kirishima," Mina yells.
Kirishima chucks Kimura through the window before climbing through himself. A zombie grabs him by the back of the hair and yanks. Kirishima screams in pain before Mina uses her acid to melt the zombie's arm off (but not the hand) and shove him back. They back away from the window and Kirishima carefully removes the hand in his hair.
"Thanks, Mina," Kirishima winces.
"No problem, fam."
Backyard
When the dust settled, it was time to get to work. Kendo grabs the recovering, namely Monoma and Yanagai, and puts them in the backseat of one of the cars.
"Come on, hurry," Kendo orders.
Sero and Shiozaki help get those knocked out from the gas attack into the remaining cars. As they open the back gate to allow themselves to drive, Sero stays behind.
"Go on," Sero tells them.
"Come with us," Shiozaki begs.
"No, someone's got to help in case the others need more helping hands." He puts Shiozaki in the driver's seat with the unconscious Class 1B members. "Go, now."
"Let's go," Kendo shouts from the other car. "Come on, we gotta go before zombies flood the gate!"
"Go, now!"
Shiozaki starts the car up and follows Kendo as the two cars drive off.
Sero quickly closes the gate before running back inside.
Broadcasting Room
"Okay, Mr. Compress, now it's my turn." Shigaraki steps away from the PA system and begins walking away. "Would you care to take a stroll with me?"
"Of course." He plays with two marbles in his hand. "How could I ever resist such a magician's show."
"It'll be a show worth dying for." He looks to Twice. "You know what to do, right?"
"I do."
"Good. Now then, let's go meet this Izuku Midoriya."
Mr. Compress tucks the two marbles in his pocket. "You know, Shigaraki, I can't help but wonder, of all the brats here at UA, why did you single out the one with the broccoli hair."
Shigaraki smiles behind his hand mask. "Well, the answer is simple: he is Sensei's son."
"Ahh, the son of the demon lord himself."
"Yes. And Sensei adopted me so that makes the two of us..."
Mr. Compress snaps his fingers. "Siblings."
"That's right. It's time for Izuku Midoriya to meet his older brother." His grin widens. "I'm just glad to be the big brother this time."
