Guest: Hmm, I see your points and will very much consider them.
Disclaimer: I do not own WWE. I only own the OC George Edwards/The Bladewolf.
RAW: 20/6/2005
Monday Night RAW was live at the America West Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The Carlito vs. Shelton Benjamin match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship had just finished and Maria was starting her interview segment with Maven.
"Maven," said Maria as she held the microphone, "last week you had a match against the Bladewolf and you lost. How do you feel?"
"How do you think I feel you stupid…" started Maven, but paused before continuing, "You know what, I'm letting this get to me. Nobody told me that I was facing someone like the Bladewolf last week! Had I known, I would've prepared myself better, knowing who I was going to face. I went in there, unaware of who I was facing. because of that incompetance from the people back here, I couldn't act accordingly and lost to that... that... freak!"
"He did beat you in several minutes." Maria nodded, getting a glare from Maven for her words.
"Oh you think you're funny? Everyone think it's funny that I got beaten by that face-painted freak? Need I remind you, as well as those people and the Bladewolf himself that I once eliminated his big brother, the Undertaker, from the Royal Rumble a few years ago?" Maven asked, referring to the 2002 Royal Rumble match where he did indeed eliminate the Undertaker. "If I can do that, what do you think I can do to..."
He trailed off as Trish Stratus came into view, earning a positive reaction from the crowd. She was dressed in a beautiful black dress with a slit on the left side, showing off her entire left leg, and gave a decent amount of cleavage reveal. She had a condescending smirk on her face as she looked at Maven, her WWE Women's Championship around her left shoulder.
"Hello Maven." She said with a slight purr in her words. "You see, I was just walking by when I heard you talking about my husband."
"Oh, so you're here to speak for me?" Maven scoffed. "He can't come to me himself and say it to my face?"
"My husband doesn't waste his time with those beneath him, especially one he beat in a few minutes after tossing him around like a ragdoll." Trish said with a smirk, making Maven steam with anger. However, Trish's smirk then dropped as a cold glare took it's place. "I should warn you to not continue whatever you were going to say. Mentioning my husband's brothers is one thing, to insult him directly is another thing... one that can bring an abrupt end to your career here. For your own sake, Maven, don't do anything stupid."
"Oh don't worry." Maven smirked as he reached up to play with a strand of Trish's hair but she stepped back. "I know exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to issue a rematch to your husband, and I know he will have no choice but to accept. Do you know why?"
"No, wha-HEY!" Trish screamed when Maven picked her up, throwing her over her shoulder. "Put me down!"
"Because he'll have his damsel in distress to save!" Maven laughed as he walked off, leaving Maria blinking in confusion.
The cameras then cut to Jerry Lawler and JR at ringside, looking at each other. "What has Maven done?" Jerry gaped. "There's being brave and there's being stupid. Putting your hands on the Bladewolf's wife is the most stupid thing you can do!"
"Well..." JR was at a loss for words. "It seems Maven is still upset at the loss to the Bladewolf last week on RAW and is intending to get a rematch. And considering what he's just done, he may end up receiving it. Folks, we're going to a commercial break, we'll see what happens when we return."
RAW went to the commercial break.
*After RAW returns from the commercial break*
In the arena, Maven's theme hits and he comes out with Trish still on his shoulder. The WWE Women's Champion was slapping his back repeatedly, trying to make him drop her but he had a good grip on her as he marched towards the ring.
"Maven, this was still not a good idea!" Jerry called, even though Maven couldn't hear him.
"He's going to get what he's after." JR shook his head. "Anyone whose put their hands on Trish with ill intent has earned the Bladewolf's wrath. He don't like anybody putting his wife in danger just to get to him. And he is a destructive monster who enjoys hurting people."
"And he's going to enjoy hurting Maven!" Jerry exclaimed.
Entering the ring, Maven took Trish off of his shoulder, then held his arm around her so she couldn't escape, and took a microphone in his free hand.
"Now I bet all of you stupid fans are thinking that the Bladewolf is going to come down here and kick my ass because I put my hands on his woman," said Maven.
'WHAT!' The crowd chanted in response, getting a 'What?' chant going.
"Well guess what?"
'WHAT!'
"The Bladewolf..."
'WHAT!'
"Is going to learn..."
'WHAT!'
"To respect me!"
'WHAT!'
"Bladewolf!" Maven faced the stage. "I've got your woman! And if you truly have any love for her in your dark, black heart, then you will come out here and face me again!"
'WHAT!'
"SHUT UP!" Maven shouted at the crowd, getting boos in response. "Come out, Bladewolf! Face me or I'm going to hurt this beautiful, voluptuous woman I hold in my arm! I mean, I can see why you enjoy every night with her. Maybe it's time she learns to be with a real man and not-"
OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!
The crowd camed unglued after the wolf howl went off, followed by the lights going out for several seconds. When they came back on... THE BLADEWOLF WAS IN THE RING BEHIND MAVEN!
"Ah!" Jerry exclaimed.
"It's the Bladewolf! The Bladewolf's in the ring!" JR shouted. Maven was shouting at the stage, unaware of the man behind him. "Maven doesn't see him!"
The Titantron then showed what was going on in the ring and Maven froze when he saw who was behind him while Trish had a big grin on her face. Maven slowly turned around and his eyes widened when he soon fell under the dark, cold glare of the Demon Wolf who looked at him unblinkingly as he took a single step forward, causing Maven to quickly shove Trish into Bladewolf's arms, then blindside him with a right hook to the cheek.
"Oh!" Jerry winced.
"Maven with a right hook!" JR said as Maven continues his assault while Trish backed into the corner to watch. Bladewolf covered up as Maven punched and kicked before he was shoved back across the ring, falling onto his back. "Wow. The power of the Bladewolf."
Maven got to his feet and charged straight into a big boot from the Demon Wolf, who grabbed him and scooped him up onto his shoulders... AND HE HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF!
"Fury of the Wolf!" JR exclaimed.
"Oh my God!" Jerry added.
Bladewolf glares down at Maven as Trish grabs a microphone and comes to stand beside her husband. Bladewolf looks at her, checking her over for any harm with his eyes before nodding in satisfaction that she was unharmed. Trish crouches down to a knee, smirking down at the limp Maven.
"Maven... Maven, Maven." She shook her head with a mocking tutting sound. "I told you not to do anything stupid... and putting your hands on me intentionally is more than being stupid. It's downright suicidal. You wanted a rematch with my husband? Well then... he'll see you this Sunday at Vengeance."
She drops the microphone, Bladewolf raises his arms and then throws them down which makes four lightning bolts strike the turnbuckles, followed by pyro exploding from them in response. The Devil's Wolf plays as the lights dim to the sinister blood red and dark blue, and the couple leave the ring.
"Looks like Maven got what he wanted, JR." Jerry said.
"That he did, King." JR nods. "Maven wanted a rematch tonight, instead he's getting it at Vengeance this Sunday."
Bladewolf and Trish stop on the top of the ramp to look back at the slowly moving Maven in the ring. Trish had a devilish, sinister smirk on her face while Bladewolf's cold glare barely changed. The two then walk to the back as RAW goes to another commercial break.
And that's it for this chapter. Bladewol's got a match for Vengeance, which will be in the next chapter, and then it'll be the Road to SummerSlam.
