CHAPTER TWO: ACCEPTANCE PART ONE
Back at the Loud House, inside the living room. We can see the rest of the family was now flooded with question. Who really is this guy? What does Lincoln get into? How Lincoln know Tatsu? When do they meet each other? Many more questions flooded as through their mind as they lost at what was going on.
But what of object does Tatsu just showed to Lincoln you might ask? Its's a Katana, but just any katana, this one is seen to be a moderately curved Shobu Zukuri-style katana with a lilac and gold color scheme. The tsuba is trefoil-shaped, and each lobe is holed in the middle and thickly ridged. The tsuka is lacquered solid lilac (rather than cloth-wrapped), as is the saya. Both are embellished with simple, golden, five-petaled flower motifs on each side. The kashira and kojiri are matching in appearance, being large with trefoil cutouts to match the tsuba; the kojiri possesses an additional accent, which seems to be a wide, knobbed ring above it. Like the Kitetsu swords, it also possesses an irregular flame-shaped hamon and black no-hi.
Three pieces of cord are present on the sword: one directly above the kashira (without hanging end), another on the saya a short bit below its mouth with two hanging, tufted ends (serving as the sageo), and yet another cord further below on the saya (again no hanging end). Further, a little bandaging is present on the tsuka for better grip.
LINCOLN: *shock* "E-Enma…"
TATSU: *looks at the sword* "So that the name of this sword" *hums in though while he puts the sword back and close the box* "Interesting…"
The sword's deadly and threatening aura slowly dissipated until it finally turned normal, the Loud sisters especially the parents were finally able to breath properly, but they are horrified at that thing.
LINCOLN: *stutter* "W-Where did you…H-How…That's belongs to-"
TATSU: *looks at Lincoln* "We found it in an abandon shrine near the town from the Hokkaido prefecture. We were supposed to build a new headquarters there, but we had to stop the projects after we found the sword."
LINCOLN: *looks at him confuse* "How is that even possible?" *thoughts* Better yet, why here? In this world? *frown* I hope "HE" is not responsible for this.
TATSU: "We don't know either, but no matter how hard we tried, it prevents us from finding its answers. Two years ago, one of my associates tried to wield it once, but it turned him into insane madman upon touching it, we manage to put a restrain on him to calm himself down, but as few days goes by, he became a completely different person after that he quits the facilities and was never heard from it again, until three months ago his body was found at his house. He commits suicide by hanging himself."
After Tatsu finish telling his story Lincoln was unfazed by it, as he simply just sits down and rub his temple as he sighs in depress.
LINCOLN: Figures…Enma is a sword cannot be wielded by a weakling *looks at Tatsu* It actually took me a lot of time before I could wield it, even If I did it's still very dangerous even for me…
TATSU: *nod head* Yes, which is why I need your help for this and who knows maybe I could help you with your problem as well.
LINCOLN: *realize something* Wait a minute…*looks at him* how do you even manage to resist it?
TATSU: *stands up* I'll answer that question when we meet again
Tatsu then walks towards Lincoln and gives him his business card. Lincoln takes it and saw that it says "Project Alpha" on the top with Tatsu's name on the middle and a number on the bottom.
TATSU: This is my card, when you're ready please let me know.
Tatsu then proceed to walk towards the door and close it and continue to walk outside the house to the Limo where it was waiting for him. He enters and the Limo drives off.
?: Sir, it's okay for you to left him with the sword? You know how dangerous it is and we don't even know if it is safe. What if something bad happens to them and we're to blame for it? What will be the future of our company's projects that we've been working for years?
Tatsu just laugh at her questions, he knows what she means but nonetheless he calm himself from laughing and says…
TATSU: *smile* I wouldn't worry about it…*look at her* I know what I am doing.
BACK AT THE LOUD HOUSE
LINCOLN: *loud groan* How did it get to this…*puts the card in his pocket then looks at family* I suppose I got a lot of explaining to do huh?
At the moment all present family members started bombarded Lincoln with question. Lincoln suddenly rises his hands and this stop them. Then the front door was opened as Lori, Leni, Luan and Lola who has return from their shopping.
LOLA: *looks around* What did I miss, everyone?
Lincoln just slumped back at the couch as both hands covered his face before sliding it down.
LINCOLN: *sigh* Everyone, get yourself comfortable. It's going to be a very long story…
As they got themselves comfortable, Lincoln immediately began telling the stories of his many different reincarnations over the course of his life. The family was shock, they didn't know he was a living proof of reincarnation
LORI: So…you're not just our brother…but you're a living proof of reincarnation.
After hearing Lincoln's explanation, she still finding it hard to believe it.
LINCOLN: *nods* Yeah…I've lived many lives throughout my lifetime. When the first time I died, I have already reached the Limbo and asked me if I wanted anything and I wanted to be the warrior I always dreamed to be, and I just kept asking it again every time I died and went back.
LISA: *shock* Woah…I can't believe reincarnation is actually a thing.
As her scientific brain was questioning everything she heard come out of her brother's mouth. Now she knows why Tatsu paid Lincoln a visit.
LYNN JR: *pfft* Yeah right, as if that's all true.
RITA: *looks at her, mad* LYNN!
LYNN SR: *mad* Hey! What did I do?! *Rita looks at him, deadpan* What?! *she points to Lynn Jr.* Oh you mean… *nervously laughs at her* sorry…
Rita sigh in defeat, she about to lecture Lynn when she notices Lincoln was no longer on the couch. She was about to ask when suddenly a loud thud was heard from the stairs behind her. She and the rest saw Lincoln carrying a heavy metal suit case.
LINCOLN: *cracks his back* Man…I forgot how heavy this thing was…*stretching his body* I should better train after this…
LYNN SR: *curious and points at the case* What's you got there sport?
LINCOLN: *finish stretching, smiles at him* You'll see…
Lincoln kneels down as lays the case flat on the floor, he opens it up and they saw shining gold bars. Lola's face slowly forms a smile, bigger than before.
LORI: *stunned* A-Are those gold?! *puts both hands on her face with horror* LITERALLY REAL GOLD?!
LINCOLN: *nods his head* Yep, real gold. I got this when I was an adventurer from my past life, along with some other the stuff I have. *picks up a gold bar* Hey, Dad…*points the gold at him* do you think this well be enough to open you own restaurant? *remembers something and looks at Rita* Oh Mom, I forget to tell that I already paid the bills for this month and last month…*snaps his fingers* oh and also, your and Dad's student loans are already paid off.
Both Lynn Sr. and Lori fainted falls on the floor with a loud thud. Rita on the other hand, her entire body turned pail white and fell to the floor on her knees as her soul just left her body as it came out of her mouth.
RITA: *tiny ghostly voice* oh…is that so…oh…
LENI: *scream* They're dead!, *cries and kneel down close to them* No…*hugs them* please don't leave me…*intense crying* why?!
LISA: *goes to her* Calm down second eldest sibling *rubs her back* they're just fainted they'll wake up eventually *glares at Lincoln* honestly it could've been worse…
LINCOLN: *wince* Yeah…*scratch his head* my bad…
LUNA: *blinks two times* Dang, dude.
Luna couldn't believe that the stories her brother had told about the lived he lives as warrior and a hero was actually true, especially the gold right in front of her.
LUAN: This isn't funny but I know he's not lying, Lincoln never lies…*shrugged her shoulder* eh…*then cross her arms* most of the time.
LINCOLN: *offended* Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!
Luan just rolls her eyes as Lincoln was fuming, Lynn then said…
LYNN JR: *picks up a gold bar* Yeah, especially when it comes to this thing *realize* wait a second…*looks at him* does this mean you're actually have enough to last a lifetime?
LINCOLN: I guess? *scratch his head* I mean this gold bars are just one percent of wealth I had on my magic storage…
LYNN JR: *shock and shouts* ONE PERCENT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN ONE PERCENT?! *drops the gold and march towards him* How much gold do you have?! And most importantly, *grabs his shirt collar* what's a magic storage and how much space does it have?
LUNA: *surprise* Whoa calm down dude, *holds her shoulder* it's not that big…*looks at Lincoln* right?
LUAN: *holds the other shoulder*That's what she said *laughs* get it? *serious* but seriously, it can't be that many, maybe he just exaggerated *looks at him* right?
LINCOLN: *realize* huh…now I think about it, I'm not really quite sure how much space does it really had *cross his arms and looks at them* I assume it's infinite because it manages to fit hundreds of thousands of mountains of treasure and golds that I had over course of my past life.
Luna, Luan and Lynn look at him, blank face and dead eyes as Lynn slowly let go of his shirt and they step back a little, then they proceed to breath in much air than she needed then let it go at once…so that they wouldn't be fainted like their parents and sister.
LYNN JR: *clasp both her hands near her face as she looks down* I am…so afraid…to ask this, but…*points her clasp hands and looks at him* H-How tall are these mountains are?
Lincoln said nothing, sweats forms on his forehead, he stands aside summons a brown colored door, it has a knob made of gold with intricate design. Lincoln opens the door and Lynn saw a hallway leading towards the end of a light she looks at him, who just nods, she hesitant at first but she steps in.
LUNA: H-Hey!…*follows Lynn* wait up…
LUAN: *snaps out of it* W-Wait for me!
LINCOLN: *concern look* I hope it doesn't break them…*close the door notice Lucy* something wrong, Lucy? Your smiling.
LUCY: *smiling* So much knowledge and magic you have is real.
Lucy was happy to know that the afterlife and reincarnation were a real thing as her brother was a living proof of that. Lincoln saw that Lucy was smiling, sure he saw her smile a couple of times before but not this one. So, Lincoln decided to do one thing.
LINCOLN: Hey, Lucy…*gesture her to come closer* come here for a sec…
LUCY: *goes to him* What is it, Lincoln?
LINCOLN: *whisper* Come and see me at the rooftop tonight when all of them are sleeping, okay?
Lucy nods her head, suddenly the Lincoln's door burst open. He saw that three of his sisters each carrying three large bags with a dollar sign on it.
LINCOLN: *saw the bags in surprise* Oh…so that's where I left those *amaze* huh… *shakes his head* no wonder I couldn't find it.
LYNN JR: *sees Lincoln* Oh hey Lincoln, hope you don't mind me taking this much dough for myself, *goes upstairs*don't worry I can handle this *yells from upstairs* and I won't spend recklessly in one place, love you bro.
LINCOLN: *shock* D-Did she call me-…and said she- *looks at Luna and Luan, confuse* I'm not dreaming this one, right? Cause she never give me love that soft and she was never really nice…*thought about it* well actually she was nice. *argued* BUT NOT THAT "NICE".
LUNA: *shakes her head* Nah dude, it's real and don't worry about it so just relax. Besides money does buys happiness *carries upstairs* see ya later bro.
LINCOLN: *yells* And those "Happiness" your buying better not be those ridiculous Mick Swagger's merch, you hear? I mean for god's sake, you just buy his used old t-shirt that look like it belong to a homeless person last week and wear them *flabbergast* w-who does that?!
LUNA: *yells back* We fans of Mick's do and no promises, bra!
LINCOLN: *looks at Luan intensely* and you…*points at her* It better be not a package full of gags and pranks at the front door tomorrow *shouts, dramatically said and drops his hand* cause lady I had enough of your April Fool's Pranks!
LUAN: *offended* Hey! My pranks are not that bad…*goes upstairs* besides you manage to dodge it all, right?
LINCOLN: *angry* That's because I was trained and taught to become a professional on evasive maneuver and be on high alert so those deadly traps that those dungeons have couldn't kill me *shouts at the bottom of the stairs* AND YOUR PRANKS ARE ALMOST DEADLIER THAN A DUNGEON TRAPS!
LUAN: *yells back from upstairs* Oh come on, you're just overreacting.
LUNA: *yells* He's right, you know? Remember Mr. Grouch, our neighbor?
LUAN: *yells back* Shut up!
LINCOLN: *grabs Lucy's shoulder, looks at her with worried look* Lucy do me a big favor and for the love and mercy of Gods and Goddesses of this world. Look after them, especially and mostly Luan, got it? *terrified look* Cause it's way too early for me to go and I don't think this family is going to survive another day with her right now.
Lucy nods her head and went upstairs, Lincoln calms himself down as he contemplating on his life decision, he turns around and saw Lana standing there with Lola staring right in front of the metal case.
LINCOLN: *concerns, ask Lana* I-Is she…uh…*points at Lola* Is she's alright? I-I don't think that's normal.
LANA: *looks at Lola, confuse* Uh…Lola, *snaps her fingers in front of Lola* are you okay?
Lana asked her as she notice how her twin sister was acting up strange and she thought something was wrong until she saw Lola drooling at the sight of gold.
LOLA: *rise her arm* Pinch me I think I'm dreaming *pinch by Lana* OW! *looks at Lana in anger* That's hurts!
LANA: *rise her hands in defense* What?! You're the one that asking for it.
LOLA: *furious* NOT THAT HARD, YOU FILFTY GREASE MONKEY!
Lola was about to fight Lana for pinching her, before she could do Lola was stop by Lincoln as he suddenly steps between the two and was shock to see him.
LINCOLN: *pushes them away* Alright, that's enough you two…
LOLA: *mad and points at Lana* But she started it!
LANA: *mad, shouts*But you said "pinch me"!
LINCOLN: *yells* ENOUGH! *points at them* I don't care who started it, so please stop fighting before something bad happens that you will regret! *both of them are scared of him and he calms down* would it be hard to asked you guys to stop fighting and just be friends. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed, so please stop this, okay? *both nods and he smile* Good, now how about you both shake hands and apologize to one another.
LOLA & LANA: *does the hand shake and said* Sorry…
LINCOLN: *nod* Good, now…*stretch his arms* how about a hug?
Lola and Lana then run to Lincoln and hugs him, Lincoln smile and hugs back while rubbing their head. Lisa was still busy calming Leni down as she continues to cry, Lisa is starting to lose her patience.
LISA: *shouts* Can someone please help me with this crying teenager! *looks at Leni* I swear she has more water to cry than a waterfall itself.
LINCOLN: *chuckles* Okay Lisa, I'm coming…*notices* hold on…*looks around* where's Lily?
LANA: Oh, *points upstairs* she's in her crib, sleeping.
LINCOLN: *amaze* huh…I surprise she's still sleeping from all that noise.
LANA: *laughs* Yeah, I think it's because she shares a room with Lisa.
LISA: *mad, shouts* What do you mean by "THAT", exactly?!
LINCOLN: *laugh softly* Come on, let's go help Lisa before she loses herself to this.
They help carrying their parents and Lori while Lisa drags Leni upstairs as she continues to cry. Lisa was supposed to ask Lincoln on his "involvement" with Tatsu but she decided to ask him later.
