This chapter right here is going to be a bit different, the reason is because I'm introducing a new character, one that'll help play a key role in this story.
Not to mention, I'll be giving a certain someone, a bit more character development early. As for what it is, you'll just have to find out and read this story to see what'll happen.
Also, I apologize for the delay of me updating this story, I've been focused on playing Days Gone, which is actually a surprisingly good game, including Persona 5 Royal, not to mention days ago I've finished my 'special project'.
A new crossover, if you all liked this story, then you'll like what I've made.
Anyways, that's enough talk from me, let's have this story continue on shall we?
(Quick Note, after being kindly pointed to where I made a small mistake I just fixed it.)
Chapter 8
The Dragon's Cometh
Now normally we'd be seeing the Owl House come into view, but this time we see something much more different.
We see what resembled to be that of an old looking cemetery, from the looks of it, this place had clearly seen much better days. It was unkept, weeds growing all around and a majority of the graves were covered in moss while others were cracked. On a single tomb stone, a very large spider crawled it's way up.
As the spider crawled on top of the tombstone, *Snap!* the sound of a branch breaking was heard making it turn around, not long after it was hit by a rock. Moments later, someone picked it up.
While the arachnid was un responsive, the individual lightly squeezed the gland extracting it's webbing for some strange purpose. Once it was inside of a small metal container, the stranger let the spider go.
With what what the stranger needed, he shook up the container, and drew an orange spell circle, putting it through it. The canister glowed for a moment, once it did the stranger put it inside his bag.
It was then moments later, the stranger emerged from the forest, and in the distance was Hexside School of Magic and Demonics. With a sigh, the stranger made his way to the building as other students had just arrived.
Inside one of the history classrooms, the students had just arrived, and were waiting for the teacher to arrive.
Among the students was Amity. Today she seemed to be more irritated as of lately. Things have just been getting worse for her, ever since Luz showed up. First at school by her and the son of the Owl Lady, and then they ended up doing it again, at the Convention, where she was utterly humiliated and betrayed by her own mentor, the very head of the Emperor's Coven, Lilith herself, who turned out to be related to the one eyed warlock himself.
She still remembered the words he told her that day, but recently, two days ago on Conjuring Night, she and her friends weren't able to make any thing come to life, even a little doll. For a brief moment she glanced over at her old childhood friend, still trying to figure out how she and witch with low power along with another warlock, who was around her scale level of magic was able to animate an entire house with a human being. She remembered what she told Luz, humans couldn't learn magic, but then again, it must've been because of Evan's help.
Even though she wouldn't want to admit it, but even she was astonished by his level of power. Then again, there must be a lot of perks if your not in any magic school. Her line of thought was shut off, once the teacher entered the room.
" Before we begin, we have a new transfer student. " He looked to the doorway. " You may come in. " Everyone looked to the door that lead inside.
Entering the classroom was a warlock around the age of 15. He was wearing the standard uniform and the colors of his sleeves and leggings were indicated he was in the Beast Keeping Track. His most notable trait was his unruly thick crimson red hair that ran down to the bottom of his neck. A lot of long bangs covered over half of the front of his face. His eyes couldn't be seen at all.
" Would you care to write out your name? " Almost within a flash of a second, he grabbed a piece of chalk and wrote his name: Wilhelm Soulbane.
" Okay, Wilhelm, do you have something to say? "
He only said one word, with not very much enthusiasm, and not much emotion. " Hello. "
" Not a much a talker I see. Your seat will be right over there. Amity, would you mind raising your hand? " She did just that. " The empty desk to the left right by her. That'll be your seat. "
" Thank you... " He made his way over and for a brief moment he glanced over at the witch sitting next to him, before taking out what he needed for class.
And so just like that the whole day went by pretty fast, like it normally did. Through out the day though, nothing really special happened, just only the fact that everyone seemingly focused on Wilhelm. He wasn't doing much socializing, in fact he was always sleeping where ever he sat, whenever the opportunity was given. During break, lunch it didn't matter he'd snoozing away. Do to this face, the other students just only ignored him.
By right now, the sun was beginning to set over Hexside, students were beginning to leave and started to head home. The only one who stilled remained was Amity, who was walking up the stairs for some reason sighing in annoyance. " I can't believe I forgot my bag. " Within a few more steps she re entered her classroom and noticed something.
" Huh? " She turns to see that Wilhelm was still sleeping on his desk asleep, not even moving in the slightest. " He's still asleep? Unbelievable. " She said while walking over to her seat to grab her bag. While down level she noticed Wilhelms bag wiggled around a bit. Now normally she wouldn't be doing this sort of thing, but curiosity had a hold on her to do so. Slowly she opened the and something popped out taking her by surprise landing on the floor.
What took the witch by surprise, was the fact, that what popped out of Wilhelms bag, was a dragon. Her eyes weren't deceiving her one bit. It was very small, roughly the size of a cat with a red stripe running down their back where red spines erupt. It had small red horns on the side of it's head, It also had big yellow eyes that were mounted on the side of it's head, granting it peripheral vision.
Currently it was growling at her as a way to tell her to back off glaring over at her. After a short stand off the small creature slowly ducked it's head back inside the bag.
" Okay, this is just getting weird... " Quickly grabbing her bag she ran out, but stopped looking back to her sleeping classmate. She didn't know why, but a good side of her was telling the witch to do the right thing, even if it wasn't her problem. With a sigh of annoyance she walked over to him. " Hey. Hey, Wilhelm, wake up! " She tapped her hand on the table a few times but didn't get a reaction. She scoffed at this before shaking him. " C'mon on! I'm leaving you if you don- " She finally got a reaction, the warlock groaned groggily slowly raising his head, leaving a trail of drool from the desk. Then much to her surprise, she saw his face, for the first time.
" What is it? " He asked in a groggy tone as he'd just awoken. But Amity didn't reply back, she was still absorbing what she was seeing. Up till now she's never seen it, his bangs and hair was always covering it. This was the first time she's ever seen his bright yellow eyes. " What? " His second time asking snapped her out of it.
" Uh...schools over for the day...You should probably get home. "
He glanced over at the window to see the sky. " Oh, so it's already that late? Thank you. " With that said he got up and walked off. Amity sighed shaking her head a bit.
" Why did I even do that for? " She asked herself before noticing something sticking out of his desk.
Upon picking it up, she grew surprised to see it was a copy of The Good Witch Azura, issue three. One she didn't have. Clearly the young witch didn't expect to find anyone else who'd read the series like she did, even though most of the time it was secret. Quickly she ran outside and much to her luck, she couldn't find him. So ultimately, she decided to hold onto it until she saw him again tomorrow.
The next day Amity had arrived early on the school grounds, about ten minutes early to be exact. The reason why was either to get a head start in front of everyone, or something else. But she also seemed keen on returning the book she held back to it's original owner. And since she had the chance, she read it and enjoyed it very much.
She never pegged guys to read Azura, but then again, it didn't matter. It was actually kind of cool really, she felt glad that there were others she could possibly relate to. While approaching the main building, she then stopped.
The witch heard something playing, it sounded like a harmonica? Out of curiosity she followed the sound, to where it was coming from. The largest tree in the whole campus, that provided vast amounts of shade and cover. And up against the trunk, Wilhelm was playing it, she didn't know why but for some reason it sounded sad for some reason, at the same time also peaceful.
While coming up, she also noticed the same little dragon she saw yesterday was slowly swaying it's head side to side clearly enjoying what he was playing. Soon enough he stopped, looking up to her.
" Good morning. " He was the first to greet back.
" What are you doing here so early? " She asked.
" Because I can. I take it your doing the same? "
" Sort of...Also you left this yesterday...Here... " She reached into her bag presenting his book.
" Hmm? Oh, shoot. I was wondering where this went. " He commented and took it back from her. " Thank you very much. "
" Also for the record, next time you fall asleep, I won't be waking you up. "
" Okay. " As she left Wilhelm spoke up again. " Interesting...Very interesting.." Hearing this made her pause and turn around in confusion to see him with two tarot cards flipped up.
" What are you talking about? "
" Tell me, do you believe in fortune telling? " Wilhelm questioned, looking up to her. " I can do a quick card read if you want. "
" And why would I want that? " Amity retorted back with a raised eyebrow.
" Because you don't really have much to do. " Wilhelm replied back in mutual tone. " And I'm just waiting for the school to open, just like you. So, why not make pass the time? "
Amity put her knuckle underneath her chin thinking on the decent point made. School wouldn't start and she pretty much had nothing else to do to pass the time. Sure she could text to her friends, but then again, she hasn't really had her fortune told before so why not? She sighed in defeat and got on her knees facing him.
" Alright, but don't try anything. " Wilhelm shrugged his shoulders. " I wasn't going to... " He took back the cards and reshuffled them a few quick times. This showed clearly this wasn't his first time, he knew what he was doing. Amity watched as he took the top three cards of the deck and laid them face down onto the ground.
" The way this'll work is simple, I draw three cards and reveal them, one at a time revealing their meaning. " First card he flipped a reversed card, angel with two small drinking trinkets, appearing to be singing with a number 13.
" Temperance, you have a problem with balancing your life and hobbies. " Amity raised an eyebrow at this, but he wasn't wrong about what he said and watched on as he revealed the second card. A woman sitting on her throne with a number 3.
" The Empress, this means you have a very cold-hearted personality, but still present a deep high degree of care and concern towards others. " The green haired witch almost seemed to be more interested as he revealed the third card. A woman wearing a religious robe, reading from a book, the card had number 2.
" What's that one? " She questioned.
" The final card, this the High Priestess. This means you are usually quiet, reserved, hardworking and very intelligent, but your also modest and shy, "
The green haired witch seemingly blushed at what he said before shaking it off. " I am not shy...Are we done? "
" No. There's more. " Wilhelm replied before pausing and looked up to her straight in the eye. " The empress also has another meaning. Something has been telling you to follow your heart, but you may be ignoring it. You feel sometimes confused, and your actions may feel contrary to what you know is right. "
Amity gained a look of shock, that soon turned into anger, before bolting up in anger. " You don't know anything about me! "
While she huffed off a bit in anger, Wilhelm only hummed, not bothered by her outburst at all, while the little dragon in his bag got his attention, and petted it.
As the day progressed by, usually things would get better, however it seemingly didn't, Amity was beyond mad.
Reading her fortune was one thing, but as much as she'd like to dismiss it, she couldn't. Every single word he said about her was true, even though she kept telling herself, it was all trick. Wilhelm did not know her personally, he'd only been around for at least two days, and now she was getting more frustrated.
At her locker, which was alive, passed the witch in training the books she needed for next class. However while doing so, she noticed there was a small poster of the Emperor's Coven with Lilith on the cover.
Growling in frustration she ripped it off the locker and proceeded to shred it to pieces much as she could. The humiliation and betrayal she had to endure from her supposed 'teacher' was still fresh on her mind. Even though Luz was one of the causes, it was the leader of the coven herself who possibly ruined her chance to get into the coven she so desired.
" You would be wise to give up that dream. " A familiar voice said making Amity turn to see Wilhelm walking past her.
" Excuse me? " He ignored her and continued walking forward. In frustration she slammed the locker shut, and marched over getting in front of him. " Repeat what you said! "
He looked directly at her, despite his eyes being hidden. " I said, it would be wise to give up on that dream. "
" Who're you to tell me this? "
" Are you so fooled like everyone else? " He asked plainly. " Lilith and that coven are not what they seem. The only thing you will receive from them, is heart pain. " With those words said he left leaving her both complexed and confused. However the sound of the bell ringing starting next class snapped her out of it and threw away the ripped up poster.
At lunch time
Amity was with her group. While they were talking like typical teenage girls, she wasn't listening to them or even apart of the conversation. But rather she was thinking on what Wilhelm had said earlier. The way he spoke, it reminded of her how she felt after Lilith humiliated her at the Covention, as if he knew her personally.
" Amity? " Her line of thought was broken looking over to Boscha. " Are you listening? "
" No, sorry. " With a sigh she stood up. " Look, I really have to go. "
" What? Where are you going? "
" I need to take care of something. "
" Oh, okay, if you say so. " Boscha said as she and the others had never seen her friend like this before. Amity's curiosity was now more flared up then ever. Things were happening so fast to. First Wilhelm shows up out of nowhere, he liked the Azura series, he gave her a card reading in which he was right on every word he said. Then the transfer spoke illy about the Emperor's Coven. The one thing that nearly all witch's and warlocks her age desired to join.
This was all to good to be true or a coincidence. She wanted to hear more of what he had to say.
After a bit of searching she spotted him outside through the window facing the forest. From the distance she saw he was feeding the small reptile in his bag as she walked closer to him.
" I see you've decided to join me. " He greeted not even bothering to look over at her. It was like Wilhelm knew she was there. He motioned an empty spot. " Care to have a seat? "
" No, I'm fine. " She declined the offer.
" Suit yourself. "
" How come you have a dragon in your bag? "
" Ah, this is Nara. " He removed the cover and then the little creature poked it's head out, sticking it's long tongue into it's right nostril. Quickly it turned it's head over to Wilhelm crawling out of it and curled up onto his lap, to receive some attention. " While Devious Terror's are hard to tame, they're loyalty is unquestionable, and a good friend she is. But, I do believe your here for something else. " He finally looks to her, his eyes were visible for a brief short moment. " Am I wrong? "
" What did you mean Lilith and Emperor's Coven are not what they seem? " Amity got straight to the point wanting to satisfy her curiosity.
" Why do you want to know? " Wilhelm looked up to her. " You clearly have made up your mind. However, it's shrouded in confusion and uncertainty. "
" What are you psychic? "
He shook his head. " I've been called that, but no. I know how to read body language. How they act, how they move, it's not to hard once you get the hang of it. " He patted the ground while continuing to pet Nara. " Come, sit. You obviously want to talk. "
" I don't even know why I'm even talking to you. " She was hesitant to sit down, however despite that she sat down next to him. " I haven't even known you for that long. "
Wilhelm hummed at what Amity said. " Sometimes we all have moments when we need to get something off our chest. Even if there strangers, to hear there opinion and not the ones from family. It's how we learn from a different perspective. " He paused taking a bite from an apple.
" Like the old saying, 'those who gain power are afraid to lose it.' The Emperor. himself is no different, no matter how much he'd try to deny it. " He said taking Amity by surprise, do to the fact that very many few had the nerve to talk about their ruler in such a way. " Which is one reason he made the Coven system. Tell me, do you recall why it was made in the first place? "
" It was because everyone was doing magic all wrong and what we were doing was disrespecting the titan. " Amity anwsered on what they all had been taught as children.
" Yes, that's right. It's absolutely amazing, on how our fellow witch and warlocks alike follow that with no question at all. "
" What's your point? "
" The witches and warlocks back then, were no different then us today. In almost everyway, only now our potential is all but always blocked. While others reap the benefits of those circumstances. " He paused for a moment letting what he said sink in. " Did you ever hear about the tragedy of Hilda? "
Amity looked to him in interest for some reason and she didn't know why. " No. "
" I'm not surprised, it's a not a story most don't most aren't comfortable to talk about. " He said looking back at her and returned his focus to the forest as he told the tale. " Hilda The Feral was a powerful witch, while her magic was strong, her vast knowledge on the very beasts of the Boiling Isles was legendary. Her wisdom was known far and wide. Hilda had such knowledge, that it was said she could tame any beast she wanted to, and didn't even need to fight them. She treated them as her equals, and worked to ensure that the species would be able to thrive alongside us. But with such promise like that, it drew the attention of some unsavory characters. "
" What happened to her? " Even Amity had to admit, hearing the story of such a witch like that, she was instantly drawn into it.
" Naturally, her sheer knowledge was sought after. Lots of witch's and warlocks wanted to learn her ways, however she was picky. "
" She was picky, in choosing an apprentice? " Wilhelm hummed nodding his head as he fed Nara a piece of fish.
" Hilda believed that only those who wanted to truly understand nature itself should be worthy. Those who were only in it for themselves, were nothing more then scum, who'd take everything she taught them for granted, and not help the natural world. Then one day, the Emperor himself came to Hilda, he wanted to learn her secrets. He told her, his wish was to help further the prosperity of the Island's, as it was the Titans will for it to happen. In exchange, she would pledge her allegiance to him, and she'd gain more power then she could've ever dreamed. " Wilhelm paused for a minute before continuing.
" However, Hilda knew if she was to accept, then everything she'd work so hard for, to understand and preserve the natural balance of the Isle's would've been all for nothing. So in the end, she refused and was then betrayed by her closest friend. "
" Whatever happened her? "
" She suffered the punishment of Petrification, the worst of the worst all face and her closest friend only watched on as it occurred. " He said bitterly much to Amity's shock. She knew exactly what he was referring to, everyone on the isles knew what punishment the worst of the worst had to face.
He continued speaking. " Ironic, for someone who claimed to be so noble of heart, is nothing more then a deceiving liar. " He turned to her. " The point of this story, is that it's not wrong to have faith in something or someone, but rather who you choose to place it in. " The bell had rang. " Best to be getting to our next class. " Wilhelm stood up and offered her hand which she accepted before he began to walk off leaving Amity with much more reason to think.
And so after a long day, school was now over until the next day. Except, tomorrow was Saturday and that gave them the time to take a small break. Amity had a few plans in mind, but mostly she decided to do a little bit of extra credit. Do to her family status, and the fact that she was a top student. But lately, she was sort of beginning to have doubts.
Since the incident at the Convention, it was building up, little by little. Now of course she was smart to make her family and teachers notice. Cause if they did, there'd be more trouble, and she was having more then her share of it lately. Then for some odd reason it only increased, do to Wilhelm's appearance. While he might only seem plain to the naked eye, there was more to him then it seemed, like there was a shroud of mystery concealing his true form.
And as crazy as it sounded, everything he's said was sincere. No traces of lies in his voice, only truth. Half of which, would probably get most into trouble, because there were somethings never meant to spoken, while other times there were.
Groaning in frustration Amity picked up a rock and threw it into the bushes.
" Why am I even bothering talking to him!? " She asked herself out loud in annoyance. " He doesn't know me! So why do I even care what he says!? " Suddenly her line of thought was stopped upon hearing the sound of a loud snort, feeling the air of it as well. Very nervously she looked up, right into the face of a dragon.
A very large one at that, covered in crimson red scales, it had a very long skinny neck, and tail. Two long horns were on it's head. And it was glaring down at her.
Naturally the normal instinct kicked in, she ran away. The beast gave chase, and she was only able to run so fast, until she tripped on a rock. Quickly getting up, Amity created a spell circle summoning her abomination who growled away.
" Abomination Attack! " While it seemed like a good idea to defend herself it was utterly useless. Ihe abomination didn't last that long, in fact with a single swipe of it's large right claw, it was easily taken down.
And now the dragon was pissed, and reared it's head back ready to eat her. All she could do was close her eyes and wait for the inevitable end, or so she thought upon hearing a familiar melody being played.
She opened her eyes and looked to her right to where the music was coming from, drawing not only her attention but the dragon's as well. Emerging from the tree's was Wilhelm playing his harmonica but soon stopped seeing what was happening.
After he stopped playing, Wilhelm raised a hand over himself creating an orange spell circle, that went down his body. Then without reaction the beast unleashed a torrent of fire from it's maw, however Wilhelm wasn't there and in almost a blink of an eye, he had Amity held in bridal style.
The only thing she could do was blink in confusion, she didn't even know what happened. One moment he was about to get blasted, by a dragon and then he had her in his arms? None of this made any sense. " W-Wilhelm? " He only let her down onto her feet and returned his attention to the dragon who was glaring daggers at them preparing another dose of it's fire.
" Stay down... " Wilhelm instructed, before he dashed forward and in a blink of an eye he was right behind it. With a tap of a rock the dragon roared as it unleashed more. The warlock didn't stay in place, he moved back in front of it and whistled grabbing it's attention.
Soon enough, he began to move from place to place creating a series of afterimages confusing the beast entirely before it got enraged.
Amity couldn't believe what she was seeing, but couldn't track his movement either, he was just that fast. The speed he was showing off was incredible and he was practically dodging the dragon's attacks with no little effort at all. It almost seemed all like a game.
Pretty soon he stopped moving and brought out what appeared to be two long sticks with metal attached to them. As the beast reared its head back he clanked the two of them together creating a loud echoing noise that resonated through the forest, appearing to greatly irritate the reptile, showing how sensitive it's hearing was. Then quickly enough, he used the sticks to make a very large orange spell circle.
Amity watched on as Wilhelm gently tapped the metal again, only instead of a sound that irritated it was more gentle. This sound seemingly put the dragon more at ease. As if things were crazy enough, she watched as Wilhelm locked eyes with it, placing down his sticks, the dragon then proceeded to roar in his face, causing large amounts of slobber to soak his face and hair. However despite this, he still showed no fear or hesitation, instead he reached into the side of his pocket.
The dragon flinched a bit growling a bit showing it's teeth, and Wilhelm slowly held up his remaining free hand as if he was trying to reassure it that he wasn't going to harm it. Wilhelm proceeded to bring out a small chunk of meat, and held it out. The large reptile lowered down it's long neck and got it's head right in front of him sniffing at what he had.
Close by Amity dropped her jaw in shock upon seeing Wilhelm reaching out to pet it, as he gave it the piece of meat. " There, there...It's alright... " He said in a kind tone before turning to the green haired witch. " Come on, it's okay now. "
" Uh...No thanks. " She replied still freaked out by what just happened while Wilhelm crossed his arms in slight disproval. " Don't be like that, it is kind of your fault to for scaring her. "
" How is this my fault? It attacked me, and how do you know it's a she? "
" This species of Dragon are called Lurkers. The females have horns, the males don't. And this one is about be a mother. " She didn't expect to hear this and reluctantly, she walked up to them very slowly as Wilhelm continued to gently pet it. " The females get very aggressive when there about to lay there eggs, becoming very territorial. Hence the saying Hell have no furry like a protective mother. "
Upon hearing this Amity realized what had happened. During her rage, she threw a rock and that must've aggrivatted the beast greatly.
" Also no, she was trying to chase you off. But the moment you attacked her is when she saw you as a threat... " Wilhelm explained and grabbed her hand.
" What're you- " She didn't finish her sentence cause Wilhelm put a finger on her lips stopping the witch from talking. " No, you listen. You owe her an apology, this whole thing was a miss understanding. Lurkers have very excellent memory, they know who's there friend and there enemy. By doing this, she won't attack you again. " The dragon let loose a low gurgling noise as it lowered it's head down locking eyes with the young witch.
Wilhelm let go of her hand and motioned his head towards the reptile, holding up one hand. Knowing fully well what he was referring to. Returning her gaze back to the beast she extended out her hand, but seemed to be very nervous, do to how it was shaking, and trembling with fear. Which was understandable do to it nearly killing her not to long ago.
Soon, the fear went away as Wilhem placed his hand over hers. Guiding it to the dragons very snout before lowly bringing it off upon contact. Amity had never felt or touched a dragon in her life, this was the very first time. The new experience at first was frightening, but from this perspective, it was also incredible. It's seemingly rough scales were smooth, and she could feel how warm it was. All she the feeling she felt, fear and anxiety were all gone.
After a few minutes of contact she took her hand off and the dragon began to walk away, accepting the apology. " Are you alright? " Wilhelm asked snapping her out of the trance.
" Ye-Yeah. I'm okay. Thank you. "
Wilhelm nodded his head. " Glad to hear it. " He then began to walk off, as Amity watched on she suddenly rushed out forward in front of him.
" Hold on a minute. Why did you helped me? What's your gain in this? " Wilhelm tilted his head in confusion. " What are you talking about? "
" Everything you've said to me! First speaking about my family, then my dream to join the emperor's coven and now you saved my life. Nobody does all that without a reason! "
Hearing this Wilhelm hummed. " That's understandable. But I assure you, I have no ill intentions. I only speak what's on my mind, and it just so happened you were curious. Am I wrong? " He only got silence in response as she diverted her attention away. " Either way, you were very troubled and you still are. "
" How do you know this? "
" I only just guessed. That's all. " Wilhelm anwsered still in his normal tone before smiling. " But, at the same time it's nice to have someone to talk isn't it? I enjoyed ours. " She was completely bewildered by Wilhelm's personality, because he was still being truth full. Every word he says, had no lies in it, and for some odd reason, it felt nice.
With a sigh Amity spoke up. " I-I'm sorry. "
" What for? " Wilhelm asked. " I completely misjudged you, that's why I'm sorry. " Instead Wilhelm smiled and shook his head, for a brief moment his bangs weren't covering his eyes.
" Don't be. It's perfectly normal for others to be like that. It's there choice to get to know one without judging them. To be honest, I thought the same with you as well. So that's one mistake we both made, and hopefully learn from it. " He looked up to the sky seeing the sky was turning more dark. " It's getting late, you should head home. "
She gasped in realization seeing he was absolutely right. " Oh crap, look thank you, but I gotta go. "
" No worries. See you tomorrow. " Wilhelm said as he watched her run off while he walked towards the woods heading to his home as well.
The next day
The events of yesterday was still fresh in Amity's mind. The whole experience with the dragon, almost dying and then got saved by the odd new transfer student in only a short few amount of days no less. While it was a bit annoying at first, the excitement rubbed off on her a bit.
But right now she was focused on getting the day started, and went over to her locker which was alive. After opening up it's mouth, she was surprised to see something was in there, and it was wrapped.
Looking around making sure no one else was around she unwrapped it and much to her surprise it was The Good Witch Azura, issue 4. Along with what appeared to be first issues of some manga. While looking through them, she found a note and unfolded it reading: " I sort of figured you didn't have issue 4. Mainly because I already figured out that you read it. I also threw in some other good reading material, trust me. I know this seems a bit much, but I hope we can be friends. If you'll allow it. :) "
Reading this for some reason gave Amity a bit of comfort, and she couldn't help but smile, knowing that there was someone else who wanted to be her friend, even if she felt she didn't really deserve any deep down. But for right now, she felt happy, something she could really use.
To be continued
And there you have it! Yep, I have officially created a new character for Mysterious Magic. Wilhelm Soulbane, who's pretty much a polar opposite of Evan.
I think I did a pretty good job with this one, if you don't agree that's perfectly fine. And yes I added dragons, because why not? They always are in typical fantasy worlds, so I figured why not embrace that idea/thought?
But while I'm at it, his voice actor is Sam Riegel. Some of you know his voice acting for a few famous character's.
Oh, and as for the next story to be updated, it'll be Chris & Kipo In The Age of Wonderbeasts, it's almost done, so there'll some more updates to my stories pretty soon.
