Chapter 83

Facing Ren part 1

Lincoln and friends were on the videophone talking to their family and friends as they send data from their pokedex. Hearing that Ren is the league champion leaves them shocked.

"So, you're telling us that the guy who helped you and misty fight team rocket was the champion this hold time?!" Lori asked."

"Yup," Lincoln replied."

"Talk about surprise twist," Luan said."

Luna notices Lincoln feeling nervous.

"Bro, you feeling, ok?" Luna asked."

"Kind of nervous," Lincoln replied." I mean I'm facing not just the champion, but Ren himself."

"Come on link, you've taken down the gym leaders, took down team rocket, and the elite 4. you've come this far, you got this," Lynn said."

(Breaths)" I sure hope so," Lincoln said."

The next day, the announcer comes out to the center.

"Alright everybody, it's time for the battle of a lifetime, Lincoln vs the champion Ren!" the announcer said."

Lincoln and Ren enter the stadium from both sides. At the loud house, as Lynn sr. and Rosa brings in the food, everyone gathered around the TV seeing Lincoln.

"He sure looks nervous," Rusty said."

"Yup," Liam said."

"I'm using all my trinkets to wish him luck," Rosa said."

"I wonder what Ren's Pokémon are," Stella said."

Back at the stadium,

"Lincoln, don't hold back, I want you go all out," Ren said."

(Encouraged)" yeah!" Lincoln said."

"Good, Sawk go!" Ren said."

He sends out a Pokémon dressed in a karate outfit.

"Lucario go!" Lincoln said."

He sends out Lucario.

"Two fighting types, a great start," Ren said." Sawk bulk up!"

Sawk bulks up increasing its strength and attack.

Back at the loud house,

"Wow talk about nice muscles," Lynn said."

"True," Margo said."

Francisco looked jealous.

Back at the stadium,

"Close combat!" Lincoln and Ren said."

Both Pokémon attack each other and fought dragon ball style.

"Come on little loud, you can do it!" Bobby cheered."

"Go Lucario!" Clyde cheered."

"You got this!" Ronnie Anne cheered."

Togepi cheers.

Back at the loud house,

Everyone was cheering on Lucario.

"Come on Lucario, pummel that Pokémon!" Girl Jordan said."

"Go!" Carl said."

"It's like dragon ball again," Zach said."

Back at the stadium,

"Power-up punch!" Ren said."

Sawk ducks under Lucario's attack and uses power-up punch in Lucario's stomach.

"Metal claw!" Lincoln said."

"Counter!" Ren said."

Lucario uses metal claw, but Sawk used counter throwing Lucario off.

"Now, mega kick!" Ren said."

Sawk jumps in the air and prepares its mega kick. Just in time, Lucario catches Sawk's leg, with a smirk he smashes Sawk on the ground over and over then tosses him in the air.

"Bone club!" Lincoln said."

Lucario jumps into the air, creates his bone staff and swings it at Sawk sending it to the ground. Lucario lands but his legs felt wobbly.

"Still good Lucario?" Lincoln asked."

"Yup," Lucario replied giving a thumbs up."

"Alright then, use metal claw!" Lincoln said."

"Power-up punch!" Ren said."

Sawk uses its power-up punch as Lucario uses metal claw, the attacks hit resulting the two Pokémon with each other's fist in their faces. the two smirked at each other, then they both fell resulting in them both fainting.

"Both Pokémon are unable to battle, this ends in a tie!" the referee said."

The crowd cheers from the battle, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, and Bobby cheered as well.

"Great way to start the first round," Bobby said."

Back at the loud house,

"Wow, Lucario really when all out, I'm proud of him," Lynn said."

"Me too," Margo said."

"And that karate Pokémon was tough too," Paula said."

"I wonder what Pokémon Ren will use next," Rita said."

Back at the stadium,

"Drapion, you're up!" Ren said."

He sends out Drapion.

"Whoa," Lincoln said." Big scorpion!"

"Absol go!" Lincoln said."

He sends out Absol.

Back at the loud house,

"Wow, talk about huge scorpion," Lana said."

"I'll say," Carl said."

"I wonder if Lincoln can catch one?" Lana asked."

Back at the stadium,

"Earthquake!" Ren said."

Drapion uses earthquake, but thanks to his senses Absol was able to jump in the air.

"Razor wind!" Lincoln said."

Absol uses razor wind and causes damage before landing on the ground.

"Not bad," Ren said."

"Thanks, Shadow ball!" Lincoln said."

Absol fires a shadow ball at Drapion.

"Dig!" Ren said."

Drapion dug underground and avoided the attack.

"Poison jab!" Ren said."

Drapion used poison jab, but thanks to Absol's senses he dodges it.

"Shadow claw!" Lincoln said."

Absol uses shadow claw causes enough damage to make Drapion to fall.

"Drapion is unable to battle, Absol wins," the referee said."

Back at the loud house,

"Alright, two down!" Luna said."

"On to the next one," Carlota said."

Back at the stadium,

"Pyroar go!" Ren said."

He sends out, a male Pyroar.

"Wow, so my Litleo will become that, amazing," Clyde said."

"Mountigre, go!" Lincoln said."

He sends out Mountigre.

Back at the loud house,

"Battle of the cats, nice," Carl said."

"I'm betting on the lion," Zach said."

"I'm betting on the tiger," Lana said."

Back at the stadium,

"Hyper voice!" Ren said."

Pyroar uses hyper voice, but Mountigre stood his ground.

"Rock blast!" Lincoln said."

Mountigre fires rock blast at Pyroar causing damage.

"Fury swipe!" Ren said."

"Dodge and use crunch!" Lincoln said."

Pyroar uses fury swipes at Mountigre, but he dodges and uses crunch causing damage.

"Fire Fang!" Ren said."

Pyroar uses fire fang on Mountigre biting him. the two separate glaring at each other.

"Slash!" Ren and Lincoln said."

Pyroar and Mountigre ran towards each other as their claws glowed white. all that was heard was a slicing sound as the two were on each other's side just standing, then Pyroar falls.

"Pyroar is unable to battle, Mountigre wins," the referee said."

Back at the loud house,

"I guess the king has been dethroned, (Laughs) get it," Luan said."

Some groaned while some laughed.

"Either way, Ren has three more left, Lincoln's got this," Stella said."

Back at the stadium,

Ren recalls Pyroar.

"I'm impressed link, now it's time to face a new type Pokémon," Ren said."

"Thanks, wait what now?" Lincoln asked."

"Bandeon go!" Ren said."

He sends out a new Eevee evolution, it was white with black paws and a music note on its head. Lincoln was shocked."

"In case you were wondering, it's my same Eevee from viridian city, we did some training," Ren said." Meet the new Sound type Pokémon."

"Sound type?" Lincoln asked."

Back at the loud house,

Everyone had the same expression as Lincoln.

"Whoa, a sound type like music rockin," Luna said."

"Indeed, another Pokémon type sounds fascinating," Lisa said."
