Chapter 87

Orange island adventure's part 2, first gym battle.

The boat arrives on the island where Lincoln (holding his trophy) and the others meet up with professor ivy.

"Hey professor Ivy," Clyde said."

"Hi kids, and congratulations on your victory Lincoln," Ivy said."

"Thanks, by the way, what's the orange league like?" Lincoln asked."

"Simple, two gyms have challenges instead of battles while the other two do, finally after getting all four from the islands, you'll face the champion," Ivy replied."

"That makes sense," Bobby said."

"Yes, and you can get to the next island for your gym battle," Ivy said." it's called the Mikan gym, the gym leader uses water types."

"Then let's get your Pokémon ready and catch some Pokémon just in case," Lincoln said as he puts his not too trophy in his backpack."

"Uh Lincoln, isn't the trophy a little too big?" Clyde asked."

"Only a bit, but at least I can zip it up enough, so it won't fall out," Lincoln replied."

"Let's hope," Clyde said."

As the others make it to the Pokémon center to get Ronnie Anne registered for the orange league, they see a boy taking on three punks hurting a Lapras.

"Hey what are you punks doing?" Lincoln asked."

"None of your business freak!" the leading punk replied."

"These guys were hurting this Lapras!" the boy said."

"What?!" Lincoln and the others yelled."

"Let's teach these jerk a lesson!" Lincoln said."

"Bring it," another punk said."

"Wait, that's the Kanto league champion and the runner up!" the third punk said."

"What?! that white hair freak?!" the leading punk asked." So what! let's get them!"

Lincoln and Ronnie Anne smirk and beat the punks in 3 seconds with their Pokémon. later the punks were taken away by the officer jenny of the island, Lincoln takes the Lapras to the center to get healed up.

"You two are really awesome, I'm Tracy by the way," Tracy said."

"Nice to meet you," Lincoln said."

Nurse joy comes out.

"Nurse joy, is Lapras ok?" Lincoln asked."

"Yes, and she'll be able to swim into the sea again," Joy replied."

Lincoln goes in the room and sees Lapras.

"Hi Lapras," Lincoln said."

"Go away!" Lapras yelled."

"Easy, I'm here to help you," Lincoln said." What happened and how did you end up on shore?"

(Calms Down)"I was with my mom and herd until pirates appeared and attacked us and I got separated from them," Lapras replied."

"Don't worry, we'll reunite you with your family," Lincoln said."

"You will?" Lapras asked."

"Definitely," Lincoln replied." (thinking)' pirates, didn't know they still existed.'

"Thank you," Lapras said."

Lincoln uses a pokeball to catch Lapras. Later Ronnie Anne calls the family and tells them about the league, Tracy, and Lapras.

"I can't believe there are jerks like that!" Carlota said."

"And it's so sweet that Lincoln is helping Lapras reunite with her family," Frida cried."

"It'll be tough finding them," Bobby said." But we'll still find them."

"I'll help out too," Tracy said."

A horn is heard.

"That's our boat, we'll call you after the gym battle," Lincoln said."

They wave goodbye and head towards the boat and head towards the first island. the boat docks and the others get off it.

"We're here," Tracy said."

"Ok, let's ask around for the gym and see if anyone has seen a herd of Lapras," Lincoln said."

The group ask around about the gym and the Lapras herd, but nothing on the herd. They soon meet a little boy.

"Hey kid, do you know anything about the gym around here?" Bobby asked."

"Yeah, it's this way," the boy replied." follow me."

They follow the boy, and they find the gym where they meet a woman there.

"Hey sis, you have guest," the boy said."

"Are you the gym leader?" Ronnie Anne asked."

"Yup, the names Cissy," Cissy replied." Are you, my challenger?"

"Yup, names Ronnie Anne," Ronnie Anne replied."

"I'm Cissy of the Mikan gym," Cissy said."

"So, this kid is your brother," Lincoln asked."

"Yup, he's learning under me," Cissy replied."

"Ok, then let's get started," Ronnie Anne said."

"Ok, and my gym does challenges, follow me," Cissy said."

At the loud house,

Everyone gathered to see the orange island gym battle as Rosa and Lynn sr. bring out snacks.

"I can't wait to see this battle," Maria said."

"Me too," Carlota said."

"I wonder what type of gym leader the person is," Stella said."

"Me too," Girl Jordan said."

Lisa turns on the tv to the Pokémon channel and everyone sees the stadium with a pool and targets.

"Um, what's with the targes?" Carl asked."

"No idea," CJ replied."

Back at the gym,

Lincoln (holding Togepi), Clyde, and Bobby sit in the stands with Cissy's brother. Ronnie Anne stands on one side of the stadium as Cissy stands on the other side.

"So, what's this?" Ronnie Anne asked."

"Simple in my gym, it's to test the opponents targeting and speed," Cissy replied." Also, in this gym we only use water types."

"Well, the only water type I have is Lapras, but my Eevee can use water type moves," Ronnie Anne said."

"I'll make an acceptation since Pokémon that uses water type moves count," Cissy said."

Back at the loud house,

"Wow, so it's like a gym challenge?" Leni asked."

"Kind of like that," Lori replied."

"I'm just glad she let Eevee participate," Frida said."

Back at the gym,

"Seedra go!" Cissy said."

She sends out Seedra.

"Eevee you're up!" Ronnie Anne said as Eevee jumps off her shoulder.

"Ok, the first challenge is to see who can shoot down the most targets," Cissy explained." are you ready?"

"Yup," Ronnie Anne replied."

"Ok then," Cissy said." Seedra use water gun."

"you two Eevee!" Ronnie Anne said."

Seedra begins shooting water gun at the targets, Eevee glows blue and starts shooting water gun. The two Pokémon continue hitting targets until they both hit the last target at the same time ending it in a tie.

"Wow, never thought I tied with someone," Cissy said."

"Impress?" Ronnie Anne asked."

Back at the loud house,

"Awesome, it was like a video game," Carl said."

"I'll say," Rusty said."

"Too bad it ended in a tie," Liam said."

"Better than losing," Zach said."

Back at the gym,

"Ok, Ronnie Anne, it's time for your last challenge," Cissy said." follow me."

The group follows Cissy and her brother to the beach where they see a red flag at sea.

"So, the challenge is to get that flag and bring it back?" Clyde asked."

"Nope, it's a race, the challenge is testing your speed," Cissy replied."

"Ah," Clyde said."

"Blastoise you're up," Cissy said."

She sends out blastoise.

"Lapras go!" Ronnie Anne said."

She sends out Lapras. Lincoln decides to send out the Lapras he caught.

"Um, Lincoln, why am I out here?" Lapras asked."

"I figured you would want to see my girlfriends Lapras to inspire you to get stronger when we reunite with your herd," Lincoln replied."

Back at the loud house,

"So, it's a race, nice"" Lana said.

"But can she win? because I think that Blastoise could be faster," Lola said."

"Let's find out," Rosa said."

Back at the beach,

Cissy gets on her Blastoise back as Ronnie Anne gets on her Lapras. Cissy's brother ready's the flag.

"On your marks, get set, go!" Cissy's brother said as he wags the flag."

Cissy and Ronnie Anne's Pokémon start swimming towards the red flag.

"Go Ronnie Anne!" Lincoln said as Togepi cheers."

Ronnie Anne was doing great until Cissy's Blastoise passes her and passes the red flag and back towards the beach leaving Ronnie Anne shocked.

"What?!" Ronnie Anne said."

"What's wrong, can't keep up?" Cissy teased."

Lapras passes the red flag and heads towards the beach. Ronnie Anne gets frustrated until she thought of something.

"Lapras, use ice beam and form a straight line!" Ronnie Anne said."

Lapras fires her ice beam making a straight line, she gets on the ice and starts sliding catching up with Blastoise.

"What?!" Cissy said."

"Alright sis!" Bobby cheered."

The race was close, but Lapras makes it to the beach first sending Ronnie Anne flying, Luckly Lincoln puts Togepi down and catches her.

"I knew you can do it," Lincoln said." And I knew I catch a girl in my arms."

"Thanks link," Ronnie Anne said as Lincoln puts her down."

(getting off Blastoise and walks to Ronnie Anne)" Well done, you not only beat me in a race, but you used your Pokémon's move to win," Cissy said." As proof of your victory, i present you the coral eye badge."

She gives Ronnie Anne the badge.

"Thanks," Ronnie Anne said."

Back at the loud house,

"That was very clever of her," Carlos said."

"Yeah, that's something Lincoln would do," Lynn sr. said."

"True, I wonder what the other islands are like," Rita said."

"Me too," Maria said."

Back at the beach,

"So, Cissy where can we find the next gym?" Bobby asked."

"It's on Navel island, just go through Pikan island and your there," Cissy replied."

"Thanks," Lincoln said."

"But, the boat won't dock for days, but you can use Lapras to travel to the other island," Cissy said."

"Lapras, you are amazing," Lincoln's lapras said."

"Thanks, you can be too," Lapras said." Now let's go to the next island."

Ronnie Anne and Bobby ride her Lapras as Lincoln and Clyde ride his Lapras to the next island.
