"Ren is doing very well against that guy." Yang said as she watched Ren retaliate against Mercury's kick.
"From what I see that Mercury guy is a very experienced CQC fighter."
"Renny may not show it but he is very well versed in martial arts also, Though he mostly use it as a way of meditation than use for fighting."
"Yeah I can see that, his footwork is very erratic but also controlled. Swift, unpredictable and effective."
"And his eyes too. He can see the feints that Mercury is using bait him in." Pyrrha added.
"Calculative and Calm headed, that like very different from Yang here." Weiss butt in the conversation.
"Come on Ice Queen that just the Xiao Long Charm."
"Being Brutish and Hot headed?" Blake also butt in.
"Sis you're the only hot headed in the family." Ruby said with a deadpan voice which made Yang winced.
Then they heard a louf smack as Mercury hit Ren on the jaw but not having of it Ren grappled Mercury's leg and threw him on the ground.
"Sheesh that's... wow." Yang looked at their Aura level.
"Holy Sh-"
"Swear Jar!"
"Shizzles Look at Ren's Aura compared to Mercury guy."
They saw Ren being in 75% while his opponent sits on 48%.
"If their Aura is like that then that means."
"The only strong hit that Ren got is the kick on the jaw." Pyrrha cut off Weiss.
"He's pissed off." Jaune interjected earning everyone's attention.
"Who do you mean?"
"Ren's opponent, he's pissed." There they saw how Mercury started to forgo the attack and defense strat and started attacking like Yang but with kicks instead of punches.
"It's like I'm seeing Yang but she only uses kicks." Weiss said as Ren dodged another barrage of kicks.

"Come on! Use your lightning." Mercury said as he shot Ren who rolled away from the where the bullet impacted.
'He's lost his cool. This is a very advantageous situation-' As if on cue Ren saw Mercury's boot coming straight for him he dodge his head to the side only to get hit in the middle of his chest.
'How?!' Ren saw another attack coming straight at him he tried to block but he was hit to the side.
'Feint? No. What is happening.' Ren nursed another hit which got his jaw again.
Then Ren felt something as he expand small electricity pulse to his surrounding.
'The pulse is different though my ears and eyes can see the attack it just goes to a different place, almost like it's a mirage.' Ren spun his toes as he shoots around him.
'I hit him I think but thats nowhere near I last shot my gun.' Then he came to a realization.'
"Illusion." He loudly said, the students heard it and Mercury stiffened.
"I see. Since I don't know where you'll attack then I'll just do this." Ren hid his guns back to his sleeves as electricity filled his palms.
Purple sparks of electricity shone around his body.
"Please don't be angry at me for doing this." Ren held a sword draw stance even without a sword then with a single slash Mercury couldn't react.
Ren made a gigantic 360 circular slash of electricity which was so fast Mercury couldn't react.
'Hiten Raijin-ryu: Shihokiri.' Ren heard Rai's voice inside his head as he made a sheath the lightning blade after he did a quick draw. The lightning blade dissipated from his palm.
Ren then blew a breath that he was holding as Mercury's Aura fell rapidly.
Many was surprised at this development, they then looked at Ren's Aura level only to see that he was in the yellow.
"He took that much damage from the attacks that his opponent did to him huh? A bit careless." One of the member of Team NDGO.
"But how come in the middle of fighting he was dodging and blocking in a different angle?" One of the student muttered which made everyone question Ren's judgement.
"Wait! What if that's Mercury's Semblance?"
"What? It makes you stupid?"
"No! An Illusion-based semblance." Another student said.
Many of the students voice their surprise.
"Well that happened." Nora said as she watch Ren get away from the colosseum.
"To think that Ren can be this powerful, Do you think I can have a fight with him?" Pyrrha said with a hint of competitiveness.
Jaune only laughed at Nora and surprisingly Pyrrha's antics.
"I didn't know Pyrrha can be competitive." Yang said as she sat next to Nora.
"Well I was competitive before I won the tournament four times. I remember the way I exchange blows with my opponent made my blood boil in excitement. Those were good ol' times but ever since I won three time most of my opponents just fight for show." Pyrrha sighed as she explained her story.
"If only people who joined the tournament strive to be stronger and not to get famous or get rich." She gave another sigh.
Ruby chuckled after hearing this.
"Can you tell us who taught you?" Pyrrha's face brightens.
"It was my Dad! Mom was Abit of a worrywart so she didn't really let me join it was my father who gave me permission to join the tournaments and here on Beacon. If we're talking about my training days then, it was Dad who taught me, he might not look strong but you will be surprise when he hits you.
I remember when there was a drunkard who tried to punch him but he threw hit on the ground with one hand!" Pyrrha kept talking about her father as Jaune excused himself to see Ren.
Ren looked at his palm as he tried to make a lightning blade with it again.
But a blade was only as small as a dagger came out.
Focused on his palm, Ren heard steps moving towards him.
"Jaune?"
"How are you?" Jaune asked as he sat next to him.
"I'm fine just confused."
"Is it because of the lightning blade?"
"That and what happened during it."
"Rai?"
"Yes, I heard his voice as if he was guiding me to use the move."
"That's a bit creepy."
"That's agreeable to be honest, but i dont think there's going to be a problem with it." Ren stood up as he return Stormflower to his locker.
"Have you also been having these kind of stuff happening to you Jaune?"
"Not from my experience." Jaune thought deeply.
"Well I think I had but not really a voice but a movement that was later ingrained in my body."
"And that is?"
"The swordsmanship I use mostly." Ren gave it a thought.
"I see yours is probably from a memory which is the same as mine while yours is generalized I think mine was more like personal for Rai."
"I mean thats true it's probably a bladework his family made or probably practiced and with you having able to see his memories then that's probably saying something." Ren sighed as he sat down again.
"Sometimes I wish I can just meditate and enjoy the bliss of inaction." Ren sighed again as he leaned back.
Jaune lsughed at what Ren said.
"Same sometimes I just want to stay in my bed and just stare at the ceiling, anyways I think it's time for us to get a move on. Pyrrha and Nora might be looking for us." Jaune said as he sat up, Ren nodded and followed behind him.
"Oz why did you agree to that!?" A black haired man with red eyes said as he slams his palm on Ozpin's desk.
"It was a fair trade, we protect them from harm we get information in return."
"What if it's their plan?"
"Qrow. Roman wasn't putting on an act I know when someone knows their priority and his priorities are their lives."
"But still-"
"But still we got information about the Queen's agents and with the help of Miss Neopolitan information gathering will be easier for you." Qrow grumbled at this but gave up.
"Its your deal not mine but who is going to protect Roman?" Ozpin looked at him.
"Wait. No. Im not going." Ozpin just continued staring at him. Qrow sighed and massaged his eyes.
"Damn it fine. Now im going to make acquaintance." Qrow jumped out of the window and turn in to a crow.
"Forgive me Roman it took awhile though if its Qrow he will mostly keep watch from the distance due to his semblance... If you dont mind." Ozpin opened his scroll.
"Thank you Headmaster Ozpin having a veteran huntsman near me is quite reassuring though I trust that Neo's kept in safe hands?"
"Ive had my most trusted on that matter."
Roman gave a sigh of relief losing his bravado.
"I...Really dont like that woman, Ozpin let me give a warning for you." Roman's tone changed catching Ozpin's attention.
"Don't let her make the first move since she has the White Fang in her palm, more specifically the Vale branch which is lead by Adam Taurus and let me tell you Mr Bull has his eyes on that kitty cat on Red's team."
"Team RWBY, wait you mean Miss Belladonna?" Roman nodded.
"He wont stop at anything to get revenge against her atleast that's what I saw from Neo's Infos, as of now he is currently readying himself for the future attack that will happen.
Miss Big bad is the only one stopping him since she still hasn't done her plans and from what Ive heard Vytal dance is near, I'd say tighten your security at that time who knows what she might do. For now I'll go and again pleasure doing business with you. And I'll keep doing what I was doing so keep team RWBY on the leash if you want to keeo them from messing things up." Roman gave a wave as the call ended.
"Miss Neopolitan are you there?" Ozpin spoke as the a crack appeared infront of his table and sound of galss shattering filled his ears.
"Please do your best to prevent something from happening and also report to Roman to keep doing what this Cinder Fall ordered to avoid suspicions." Neo nodded as she taps on her scroll then she gave small playful salute and left.
"To think that they're so near that we anticipated." Ozpin sighed as he looked at the profile of Cinder Fall, Mercury Black and Emerald Sustrai.
"Mistral...How did they even get in, I'm sure Lionheart will notice the fake transcripts...Unless." Ozpin immediately dialed on his scroll.
'I hope my suspicions are wrong, if not... I might have to double check my circle.' Ozpin thought as the name James Ironwood appeared on his contact list.
"Ozpin? "
"Ready your Ace-Ops I need you to talk to Lionheart."
"You seemed serious did something happened? "
"Just a suspicion." Ironwood immediately recognized the seriousness in Ozpin's tone.
"Alright the Ace-Ops will arrive on Haven two days as of now." Ozpin gave a nod of thanks towards him.
'Now let's see what we can do to stop their plans.'
Ozpin looked at another student profile.
It shows Pyrrha's profile.
'Should I do the transfer early? No I need to talk to them before doing that, I guess for now I'll think of a plan to tighten the security of Beacon during the Vytal Dance.'
Ozpin's Aura flickered as a rare hint of anger and frustration appeared on his face.
"I've been careless and complacent." Ozpin looked at his hand as a different kind of power courses to his palm then it dissipate faster than it appeared.
Jaune dodge the spear that was sailing towards his face as he used his shield to block a shield bash.
"Woah you're really not holding back Pyr." Jaune then blocked an attack from a Blade as Ren appeared behind him.
"Try not to be distracted Jaune or you might get hurt." Pyrrha said with a giant grin on her face.
"After lesrning that we can keep up with you dont hold back anymore." Jaune said only to get kicked on the stomach.
"Darn it." He weakly said.
Pyrrha was about to kick Jaune again only for a hammer to hit her shield.
"Homerun!" Nora said as Pyrrha flew away due to the strength of Nora's swing.
"What's wrong with her?" Jaune asked still one the ground.
"I dont know she seemed very enthusiastic when using Magnhild." Ren answered as he helped Jaune up.
Pyrrha with a wide smile rushed towards Nora.
"She looks like she's out for blood." Ren said as Pyrrha and Nora exchange hits. Pyrrha using her semblance managed to snag Nora's hammer out of her hand. Then she thrusted her spear towards Nora who
suddenly screamed in agony then torn vines started blooming around her.
"What?!" All of the Team JNPR shouted in confusion and worry as Nora continued to scream as if in pain.
"Wait time out! Time out. Nora stop!!" Jaune immediately stood up and went inbetween the two.
"I can't control it!!" Nora yelled as the vines started attacking Pyrrha and Jaune.
"Nora try to calm down!" Ren said as he tried to get in the thorn vine cage that started to surround Nora
"No I cant! Help!! Help me! Ren!!" Nora's panicking voice can be heard from the inside of the thorn cage.
"Damn it. Nora! Stay down Im going to cut through!" Jaune yelled as a wind started to gather on his sword.
'Focus make it solid like a transparent blade.' Jaune thought as the teal colored wind started to solidify around Crocea Mors' turning the sword into a claymore.
Then swirling wind gather on the said wind edge, the thorns started to move towards Jaune only for it to get burned by a fire dust.
Pyrrha who is near Jaune protected him from the incoming thorn vines.
"Jaune how long?!"
"Give me 30 seconds." Jaune said as the wind edge started to become more solid.
Pyrrha used more of her Fire dust to stop another wave of the vine.
"Alright! Everyone down!" All of team JNPR hugged the ground as Jaune swung his blade cut through the vines and freeing Nora.
Ren took the opportunity to get nesr Nora and try to calm her down with his sembalnce.
"Shhh. It's fine we're safe." Ren gave Nora a hug as she finally calmed down then he pats her head as he continued hugging her.
The repeats of "We're fine and We're safe are the only thing that can be heard." They saw Nora turning grey thanks to Ren's Semblance.
Pyrrha and Jaune went colser to then as the vines slowly withered and disappear.
"Nora, are you alright? Did you get hurt?" Nora shook her head but continued on being silent her chest shows rapid breathing as if she's having a panic attack.
"This never happened before." Ren muttered.
"What happened, Nora?" He looked at Nora's eyes.
"I-I dont know, All I know is that something was watching me, a monster of some sort." Nora ssid as she hugged Ren tightly.
"Lets go back to our dorm, then we can talk there." Jaune said to which all of them agreed.
As team JNPR walk out of the colosseum a woman with mint green hair came out of the shadows.
"Another dangerous semblance." Mercury said as he also came out of hiding.
"What did you make her see Ems?"
"The worst ever monster she has ever seen, and from that reaction it seems she has one and it's real for her to be wary of her surroundings." Emerald answered as she continued watching Nora.
"Grimm?"
"Most likely."
"Looks like we one target."
"Dont say it like were going to kill her, were gonna use her to stall Team JNPR during the Vytal dance and The Vytal Festival." Mercury nodded at this.
"Sheesh you're sounding more like Boss day by day."
"Isn't that a good thing?" She smugly said as she walk away.
"No. No its not." Mercury muttered as he followed behind her. Behind them invisible to the eye are two mismatch eyes watching the two.

Team JNPR arrived at therir room Ren still hugging Nora sat on her bed.
Jaune remained standing as Pyrrha took a chair ro sit near Ren and Nora.
"Nora what did you see?"
"Monsters from out of nowhere. I-i panicked then something burst from within me!"
"We didn't see anything during your exchange with Pyrrha."
"R-really?! But I saw them they have sharp teeth and has a very out of this world feeling!!" Jaune and Ren perked up at this.
"Nora can you describe what you saw?"
"I cant really describe it but I cant try drawing it." Nora said.
"You can draw? Wait no, not really the time right now please give us an illustration of what you saw." Jaune nodded at Pyrrha who took a notebook and pencil.
After being handed with paper and something to draw with Nora immediately went to work.
Monsters of the Cataclysm appeared on Nora's drawing.
"Abyssal Monsters?" Both Ren and Jaune muttered.
Then she drew twins surrounded with darkness around them.
Hands clasped into a praying position.
"Its those two." Jaune said. Ren looked at him then his eyes widen with clarity as he remembered what Jaune saw.
"When did you see this?" Jaune lookedat Nora.
"I dont know it's just there in my memory but I ddint reslly see it, it's like something triggered in my head that made me see these things."
"So there an outside activation?" Ren gave it thought.
"Ren memories, think about it sometimes we forget thing and needs a trigger to remember them but in Nora's case the visions probably happened due to an unknown trigger."
"Illusion? Mercury?"
"Let's not get suspicious of other people for now we need to calm down and think things through with Nora having been able to see these things we might have a probably especially if it made her jump and attack someone." Pyrrha said as she pats Nora's back.
"We might need to meet in the otherworld." Jaune said which made everyone turn to him.
"Let's meet a Liyue Harbor when you arrive there go to the hotel then we can start gathering information about the abyss."
"I dont have my hammer in thebother world."
"That can be arranged there might be some weapons that you use."
"I hope so." Nora finally calm down as Pyrrha looked at after her.
"So it's about the other world again, I'm really curious but also scared on what is happening there." Pyrrha said towards Ren and Jaune.
"Nothing really bad is just that recently there have been some developments that made us in danger but its done now, though its still strange that Ren an I cant even go there and its been almost a week and a half now."
"You said you cant control it when you go to anotherbworld right?" Ren said only for Jaune to nod and say "Yep."
"Then what if you try to will think of going to the other world like desperately, I have a feeling were not being transported due to what happened last time."
Jaune gave it a bit of a thought then remembered the fear that he had after they were ambushed and the time he apologize to Ren.
"I think you're right, we aren't being transported due to fear. I guess I subconsciously thought that going to the other world is not worth it if my friends are going to get hurt."
"That could be it, we can try it later but for now we have to let Nora calm down." Ren agreed.
"Jaune." Pyrrha came closer to Jaune.
"Pyr? what's up?"
"Im curious what happened in the other world." Pyrrha gave Jaune a serious look which made Jaune winced abit but he sighed as he gave in.
"We we're ambushes and not just bandits but a big organization, there were after this." Jaune showed the Gnosis.
"It's called a Gnosis and from what we've gathered It's from a God."
"God? Like real actually all powerful being?"
"Well poweful yes but not omnipotent there are still limits for them."
"I see and you have this, how?"
"I saved a bard who turned out to be the God of the nation, I managed to snatch it from the attacker but said attacker ambushed us and that's the latest thing that happened." Pyrrha looked more worried than ever but ahe took another look.
Pyrrha looked at Jaune, Ren and Nora who have become quite strong after their trip to the other world while she stays here talking to her manager and being a celebrity, she trains yes but training vs real combat are very different.
"I've made up my mind." Everyone looked at Pyrrha.
"I'm joining you to the other world." All of them can see Pyrrha's determination in her eyes as she said this.
"After hearing about what happened in Mondstadt the Liyue Qixing requested for us to send a group that will help on the security of the Rite of Descension." Jean said as Kaeya and Diluc stood near them.
"Can I ask why am I here to be exact?" Diluc asked.
"Well since you know of Fatui I'm requesting on your help on this matter while Kaeya here will look in the light I want you and your men to look into the shadows, this way we will be able to discern what they want from the other nations.
"Oh that's easy, they're after the gnosis of the archons." Diluc dropped the bomb infront of all the high rank of the Knights of Favonious.
"Gnosis?"
"Lets say its a mark of them being a God. As to why the Fatui is here in Mondstadt. Lets just say they planned on taking lord Barbatos' Gnosis." Everyone gasped after hearing this.
"But they failed." Some breath a sigh of relief.
"And Jaune and his friend knows where the Gnosis are."
"I see as to why we found Venti in the Fatui hideout?" Eula asked.
"Well why dont we let the person in question talk? Right? Lord Barbatos?" After saying this Diluc turned to the door.
"Oh...Uhh...Hello...?" Venti's head peeked out.
Then he awkwardly laughed.
Finally done a chapter sorry if this took a while I just got a job recently and its very hard to manage my time and finding inspiration is hard especially when im tired but thinking of a plot is very much harder tbh Idk how those Authors who upload weekly do this it's very hard especially if your plot is abit too far from the original plot.
Anyways new chapters may take a lot longer to make due to my busy schedule but worry not Ill try to write and upload as early as I can.
As for the plot right now well Idk cant think of anything rn. For Remant it mostly follow the Rwby plot as for Teyvat there will be a little bit of changes.
Pyrrha going to Teyvat will happen early yes but she wont be getting her vision or element anytime soon.
I dont know what I'm saying anymore.
