Chapter 2- The Robotic Menace. Legend of the Dragon Balls.

It's been 3 months since Pierce started training with Garmen, his skills and techniques have improved greatly. He's also started learning the properties of Ki control. He's learned to control his Ki and how to better output his Aura Enhance for short bursts. He was even given a new outfit, he now wore a purple tunic with a dark blue undershirt, black pants with a magenta sash, red armbands, and dark cyan shoes. While also keeping his blank journal on him.

Pierce was out on a simple trip to the city where he was doing some shopping for the Orphan temple. Though his trip is cut short when he sees and hears an explosion downtown. Pierce sees the city under attack by an army, they all were wearing an armband with the initials, "B&B."

Pierce quickly rushed down and took care of the army. He easily dealt with their forces, but that was until a new danger arose. Out of instinct, he dodged out of the way from an attack by one of three beings that arrived on the battlefield. They all had gray skin with red eyes, wearing a white tank top and black pants.

The confusing thing to Pierce was that he couldn't sense their energy, not even read their aura. This made it a struggle for Pierce as these things could sneak an attack from behind him. But they were still not much stronger than probably 90. As Pierce went for an attack, snapped one of their arms off, showing oil and wires. No wonder he couldn't sense anything from these things, they were… androids.

Suddenly another blast is fired down from above, catching Pierce a little off guard as he moves out of the way. Another Android descends from the sky. This one had yellow skin with red eyes, dressed the same. The machine charged ahead, catching Pierce by surprise as it kneed him in the chin.

Pierce quickly regained himself, but was getting ambushed by the other machines that were surrounding him. While Pierce was distracted, the other machine punched him in the gut, causing him to fly down the street.

Pierce was starting to get furious. "What the hell are you?"

"We are Androids, built to serve and destroy." all four androids said, holding out their hands. "Now die." they all fired an energy blast that turned into a giant ball at Pierce. Pierce acted quickly and put up an aura shield to protect himself from the blast. It was able to stop most of it.

"Well now, this is something I did not expect. Oh well, I guess I'll have to turn it up a level." Pierce said, powering up as he started to focus on his aura. His body erupted in a powerful wave of aura before dissipating. Pierce rushed forward as two of the first Androids attacked. Pierce clashed fists with one of them as his aura formed around his fist, it shattered the machine's arm and body. Pierce then proceeded to do a spin kick to the other Android, breaking through its head and shoulders with the same aura now to his leg.

Pierce has learned to focus his Aura Enhance on one body part and activate only for a quick moment. This allowed him to use his power quickly to either attack or defend himself, as well as not wasting valuable time waiting for his Enhancement to charge up again.

The last two decided to try firing all they got at Pierce. As the blasts came close to him, Pierce increased his speed, making it seem like the world had slowed down. He moved through each blast, collecting the energy out of them and appearing behind the two Androids. Pierce launched them into the air and fired a powerful Azzura Light Wave at them, destroying them on the spot.

The battle was over as the army retreated as Pierce looked at his hand. "Wow, I've really improved over the past few months. I probably wouldn't have survived that fight if it wasn't for Garmen." Pierce said to himself. He noticed one of the Androids was still operating as he looked at it.

"T-T-The Blue Badge Army… W-Will… Succeed. Your w-w-world… is d-d-doomed." the Android said before powering off.

Before long, Pierce noticed the army coming in. They were sent there to help fend off the Blue Badge Army attack, but Pierce already handled it. They went on to help people in the crossfire, those who were injured or trapped under rubble.

"Hello Pierce." Garmen said, walking up to him.

"Master, what are you doing here?" Pierce asked.

"Well, I was having a talk with an old friend of mine, and he brought me here because of the crisis, but I see you handled it fine." Garmen said as Pierce laughed a little, blushing in the process. "Allow me to introduce you. This is Dr. Briefs."

The man appeared as a young man with lavender hair and black eyes with a small beard growing in. Basically, he looked like an adult version of Trunks. Wearing a blue shirt and jeans with a lab coat.

"Well, hello there, you must be Pierce. It's good to finally meet you." he said, shaking Pierce's hand. "I'm Jean Briefs, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise, sir, I've read a little about your company, Capsule Corp." Pierce said.

"Yes, well, I originally came to Garmen for assistance against the Blue Badge Army, but she told me about you and your abilities. The way you fought them off might be of some big help in the effort."

"Who are they even?" Pierce asked.

"People who disagreed with the way the government was being run. They started as just a group rebelling against the system, but now they've turned into an army to destroy everything in their path until they achieve world order… as they say." Dr. Briefs said.

"Yeah well, they definitely have some high-tech stuff. I was facing robotic beings called Androids." Pierce said.

"Really? Humanoid Robots, fascinating. If we don't put a stop to their army soon, we might find ourselves in a never-ending war. I had two plans in motion to stop the Blue Badge Army, of course, you and Garmen were my plan A, but I also have a backup plan in motion." Dr. Briefs said as he pulled out two orbs from his lab coat, one had five-stars on it and the other had seven-stars.

"No way, I've seen that artifact before." Pierce said.

"Really? So, you've heard of the Dragon Balls?" Dr. Briefs said as Pierce shrugged.

"W-Well, sort of, I just found one on my way back one day. It had this strange aura from it, so I decided to take it."

"The Dragon Balls are said to have been made by an ancient being to give the world some kind of sanctuary." Garmen said, "When someone gathers all seven Dragon Balls, they can get a single wish granted, anything they wish for will become reality. In fact, I think the last time they were used was around a hundred years ago. The person wished to be King, and he got his wish."

"What I believe is, with this power we can stop the Blue Badge Army entirely. A single wish could save this planet, it just depends on how we use it." Dr. Briefs said. "So, what do you say Pierce, will you join the army and help us fight off the Blue Badge Army."

Pierce thought about this for a minute. "Honestly, I'm not sure. Your army almost reminds me of another army I've seen, and I don't want any part in that. But I will protect this planet no matter what."

"Hehe, I understand that I'm not big on politics either." Dr. Briefs said. "Just know I'm on your side and together we'll stop the Blue Badge Army." he said, letting out his hand as Pierce shook it again.

"And I might not do that much fighting anymore, I will still assist in any way I can. To make sure my student is safe." Garmen said as they had an agreement.

Meanwhile, in a secret base, the Blue Badge Army readied their forces for more attacks. One soldier ran through the halls and came to the office of their leader who was sitting at his desk, taking a smoke. "Sir, I have recovered the item in question." the soldier said, pulling out a dragon ball and placing it on the table, the ball had one-star on it.

The Leader picked up the orb and snickered and laughed evilly.
