This might be one of the most heartwarming stories in the entire Show Town series.
The (Original) Tiny Toons have been called into the lobby of the Tiny Toons apartment, minus Furrball, who was at the mall with Penelope.
"Wait, who called us here?" Asked Buster.
"Someone who claims to be the "landlord" of the apartment." Plucky replied.
"I 'ave not met zhe landlord, or even know 'ho zhey might be." Fifi spoke out.
"You may enter." Came a mysterious voice.
When the Tiny Toons walked into the landlord's office, there was a desk and chair, but nobody sitting at it. There was a computer screen though. On the screen was a pumpkin mask that you'd find at a Halloween store.
"I am the landlord of your apartment." Said the same voice. "I choose to keep my identity a secret."
"So, what did ya call us here for?" Asked Babs.
"It is regarding Furrball." The landlord replied. "And how he has been treated in the original."
Shirley immediately knew where it was going.
"Like, oh no..." She said.
Shirley is the only one who is fully aware of everything Furrball went through throughout the original show.
"What's wrong, Shirley?" Asked Hamton.
"I think I know where this is going or some junk." She replied, with shame in her voice.
"Allow me to explain." The landlord said. "Have any of you noticed the treatment Furrball went through throughout the original series?"
Sweetie immediately caught onto the situation and began to sweat nervously.
"Well, I know that he's been either homeless or living with she-who-shall-not-be-named." Replied Fowlmouth.
"Where landlord going with this?" Dizzy asked.
"Take a look at these clips and see for yourself." The landlord replied.
The screen began to show clips of Furrball's various misfortunes. Such as all the times he's been kicked out of a home, assaulted, rejected, and just flat-out abused. Each clip they saw made the Tiny Toons (including Sweetie) feel more and more guilty. Even Plucky doesn't escape the guilt-fest unscathed.
"Man..." Buster sighed. "Even after he went through all that, he still chose to be our friend."
"He's kept that family of fleas on him for all these years!" Babs exclaimed. "He's a stronger toon on the inside more than all of us put together!"
"As great as I am, even I know when others deserve recognition." Plucky admitted.
"We gotta make it up to him!" Hamton spoke out. "I don't wanna lose a friend!"
"Everyone, I totally think I know how or some junk." Shirley spoke out. "Gather around!"
Shirley let everyone know of her idea.
"Shirley, zhat ees brilliant!" Exclaimed Fifi. "Furrball ees going to love eet! I shall get Skunky on board as well!"
"But how we prepare in time?" Dizzy asked. "Furrball at mall with Penelope!"
"Don't fret, Dizzy." Babs replied. "I've got an idea."
"Let's hope it's a good one." Calamity replied. "Me and Furrball have been roommates for years, I ain't looking to lose him."
"Wait, why are you afraid of losing him now?" Beeper asked. "I mean, I get that this has been brought up to us now, but what about Furrball."
"Beeper, there's no saying when those thoughts would occur to Furrball!" Buster explained. "If those thoughts come to him, he may walk out on us! So it would be good if we do this to show him that we really care about him."
As they discussed their plan to prove their friendship to Furrball, Shirley sent a text to Penelope, telling her their plan.
"Ooh." She whispered to herself, thinking of a way to get Furrball out of the mall so the other Tiny Toons could set their plan into action. "Hey Furrball, this mall has an arcade and a Weenie Burger."
"Wow." Furrball replied. "A Weenie Burger in Show Town?"
"Uh-huh." Penelope replied, nodding her head. "I'm pretty wealthy from doing fashion shows so we can have fun as long as we want."
Furrball was ecstatic as Penelope lead him away. The other Tiny Toons arrived at the mall and made various stops at gift shops and party stores.
"Everyone ready?" Buster asked. "I've also made a couple of phone calls to have a little something extra added to the apartment building."
"You mean like a statue of him or something?" Plucky asked.
"You'll find out when you find out." Buster replied.
The Tiny Toons scurried back to the apartment to get everything ready. Once everything was ready, Shirley sent Penelope another text telling her that they were ready for Furrball.
"Hey Furrball, ready to go back to the apartment?" Penelope asked.
Furrball, his tummy full from Weenie Burger, nodded. Penelope took Furrball back to the apartment. When they stepped into the lobby, it was pitch black.
"Hey, who turned out all the lights?" Furrball asked.
Suddenly, the lights switched on.
"SURPRISE!" Came the simultaneous voices of the other Tiny Toons.
Furrball was so surprised, that he fell backwards a bit. The lobby was decorated in mostly blue decorations and balloons. There was a bit cake with him decorated on it with icing and words in icing reading "To our favourite cat". Those same words were also on the walls.
"Wh-what's all this about?" Furrball asked, sounding surprised and amazed. "It's not even my birthday."
Calamity stepped forward.
"Well, we discovered that you've been through a lot throughout the original show, so we put together this party to show how much you mean to us." He explained.
Furrball was even more taken aback by Calamity's explanation. He let out his thoughts.
"To tell you all the truth, those thoughts did stick with me." He said, meaningfully. "But I kept them at bay because ever since we arrived at Show Town, I've been able to hang out with you guys even more than I ever did. And throughout those years, I've come to realise that you guys really do care for me more than I originally thought, and now this is undeniable proof."
The other Tiny Toons looked emotional at Furrball's revealing. They each approached Furrball and scooped him up in a group hug, much to Furrball's joy. Penelope shed a single tear.
"I've never been so happy since me and Pepé got married." She sniffled.
"You have me to thank, Furrball." Came the familiar voice of the landlord.
The same mask from the video rolled into the lobby. It was then revealed that the mysterious landlord was none other than Sneezer.
"Sneezer?" All Tiny Toons exclaimed.
"Wait, YOU'RE the landlord?!" Exclaimed Plucky.
"Hey, a mouse has got to earn his cheese money somehow." Sneezer replied. "I've owned this place long before you guys came to live here."
The other Tiny Toons looked surprised before Skunky walked in.
"Sorry I'm late." He said. "I was doing a bit of work in the new-"
"Save eet for later, mon amour!" Fifi interrupted.
"Skunky is basically part of our group now." Buster explained. "As I said to him when he and Fifi married "Marry Fifi, you marry the Tiny Toons", that's why he wanted to help out."
"I... I don't know what to say." Furrball replied, shedding a single tear.
"Wait until you receive our presents." Babs replied.
"Presents?" Furrball asked, excitedly.
"Exactly." Hamton replied, as he and the other Tiny Toons presented their presents.
Furrball sat excitedly in a chair to open his presents. He received a ball of yarn from Plucky, a baseball mitten from Hamton, a teddy bear with his name stitched on it from Fifi, Weenie Burger gift cards from Dizzy, a new pair of sneakers from Little Beeper, a copy of Mortal Kombat 1 for the PS5 from Calamity, all five Tiny Toon Adventures DVDs with a portable DVD player from Lil Bepper, a cat alarm clock from Sneezer, a wind-up mouse from Sweetie, a karaoke machine from Babs, an Anti-Elmyra trap system from Fowlmouth, a sweater with the Tiny Toon Adventures logo stitched onto it from Skunky, a photograph with all the Tiny Toons gang together with each of the other Tiny Toons' names signed on it from Buster, and a heart-shaped locket with Furrball and Shirley in it from Shirley.
"Everyone, these gifts mean a lot to me." Furrball emotionally sniffled. "You guys are the bestest friends a cat could ever ask for."
"Not only do you have all these friends, you also have a loving adoptive mother who would do anything for you." Penelope added, pulling Furrball in for a hug.
Calamity walked over to Furrball and pulled him in for a friendly hug.
"As the reboot versions of Babs and Sweetie call themselves, you and I are resties slash boomies. Besties and roomies today and every day." He said.
Plucky walked over and threw his arm around the back of Furrball's neck with his wing on the blue cat's shoulder.
"I haven't told anyone this, but you're the coolest cat I've met." He informed.
Little Beeper walked over and delivered a friendly wing-bump on Furrball's shoulder.
"You're a cool guy through and through." He said.
Skunky walked over and gently pat Furrball's head.
"Out of all the Tiny Toons, you're the most strong-spirited." He said.
Dizzy came over and spun Furrball around by his arms.
"Furrball best cat friend ever!" He exclaimed.
Hamton walked over and simply pat Furrball's back.
"You're welcome in mine and Plucky's apartment room anytime." He informed. "I'll cook you any meal you want."
Fowlmouth walked over and high-fived Furrball.
"You can have Shirley." He said. "You've become like a (bleep-bleep) brother to me."
Buster came over and handed Furrball a carrot.
"I may be Mr Popular, but you Furrball, are Mr Important." He said, wholeheartedly.
Sneezer came over, climbed up Furrball, and hugged his neck.
"I'm so glad we became friends." He said. "Uh-huh, uh-huh."
Babs walked over and kissed Furrball on his left cheek.
"Don't ever change who you are, Furrball." She said. "Stay the sweet and caring cat you are forever."
Fifi walked over, gently wrapped Furrball in her tail, and kissed his right cheek.
"Vou are sweeter zhan a chocolate-covered croissant." She said, sweetly. "And I mean zhat from le bottom of mon 'eart."
Sweetie flew over to Furrball next.
"I know we had a rough start, but I'm really sorry for everything I did to you." She informed. "If I could turn back time, I would ensure that we'd be friends during the original series."
She slowly puckered her beak and flew to Furrball's nose.
"I'm not really used to kissing cats, but for you, I'll kiss you as often as you want." She said.
She went to kiss his nose, but she closed her eyes a bit too quickly and ended up kissing him on the lips, much to Furrball's surprise. When Sweetie realised where she kissing him, she got shocked.
"Oops! Furrball I'm sorry!" She said. "I meant to kiss your nose."
"Sweetie, like calm down." Shirley replied. "That was just an accident."
Furrball nodded in agreement, causing Sweetie to breath a sigh of relief. Lil Bepper came over to Furrball next and kissed his nose, leaving a red kiss mark there since she's mostly wearing lipstick anyways.
"That's for being so sweet to my brother and all your friends." She said. "Don't worry, Calamity suggested I kiss you."
Shirley was the last one to walk over to Furrball.
"Babe, we did all this for you." She said. "We're deeply sorry for how some of us treated you and everything you've been through throughout the show. We don't want you to feel that none of us care for you, because believe me when I say that we do care for you. We love you, I love you."
She gently held Furrball's cheeks and planted a loving kiss on his lips, leading to Furrball to gently hold Shirley's head and reciprocate the kiss. After kissing Shirley and all the kind words and gifts, Furrball's eyes teared up and his whole body began shaking.
"Let it all out, Furrball." Penelope whispered.
Furrball's joyful crying arrived like two hoses from firetrucks. He was sobbing loudly from all the love and care he had been receiving. Penelope lifted Furrball up in her arms and gently hugged him, followed by Shirley, then Calamity, then the other Tiny Toons.
"I have never been more happy and loved in my entire life!" Furrball cried. "I love you guys!"
However, the happy embrace was interrupted by an unpleasant voice.
"Hey!" Came the voice. "My kitty!"
Furrball saw this as an opportunity to put his new Anti-Elmyra trap system to good use. With one button press, Elmyra was caught in a mechanical hand. The Tiny Toons went outside to confront Elmyra.
"Why wasn't I invited to this party?!" Elmyra demanded. "I was Furrball's owner in some of the cartoons!"
Furrball walked over, and spoke for all the Tiny Toons.
"Elmyra, I'm going to give the reason in the nicest way possible." He said. "Nobody likes you."
And with that, Furrball controlled the mechanical hand to throw Elmyra far away.
"That was the nicest way possible?" Penelope asked.
"If it wasn't Elmyra, I'd try harder." Furrball replied.
"That reminds me!" Buster announced. "Time to show off the newest feature of the Tiny Toons apartment!"
Buster lead everyone to the elevator and pressed a new button that was above the other buttons.
"Is this another present for me?" Furrball asked, curiously.
"Well, it's more of a present for all of us." Buster replied.
The elevator took them to a wide room that had a large TV, couches, and various games.
"Toonsters, welcome to the new Tiny Toons hangout room!" Buster announced.
The others were absolutely amazed by the new hangout room.
"Wow, how did you implement this?" Penelope asked.
"I made a few phone calls to the ACME company to have this implemented." Buster explained. "So now we can all hang out here rather than in the lobby."
"This is awesome beyond words." Furrball smiled. "Say, I have an idea, let's all have a slumber party here. We could invite our reboot selves, order some food to eat, and all have a good time here together."
"That's an awesome idea." Little Beeper replied.
"Everyone, as Buster is fond of saying, it's time to party!" Babs announced. "And this time, it's Tiny Toons style!"
The Tiny Toons invited their reboot selves and had a party in the new hangout room long into the night. This was an event that Furrball will not be forgetting anytime soon. A party held in his honour, and honoured by his closest friends and adoptive mother.
