Befriending Spitfire

A few minutes had passed and every pony had finally calmed down. Even Spitfire. "Now that's out of the way," Spitfire said, "What were you two doing?" "We were out flying around," Rapid Run explained, "Having races."

"Racing Each other," Swift added in. "Racing to see who's the fastest, and strongest," Rapid Run said. "You didn't say anything about strong," Swift corrected her boyfriend. "Sorry," Rapid run chuckled. "They all had something to do with who's being the fastest," Spitfire said.

"Right," both Swift and Rapid run said together. "So, want to have cloud cookies?" Spitfire asked offering lunch. Yes, the three ponies had settled down to lunchtime. "Well, this quiet," Swift said.

"You did a good job with these cookies and tea, Spitfire," Rapid Run said. "Thanks for the compliment," Spitfire said. "You really did a good job," Swift said, "These kinds of cookies are rare."

"Thanks," Spitfire said, "I've made them from the best clouds that Cloudsdale had ever made!" "We can see that," Swift said, "We don't need to say that anymore." "So, you're the lead pony of the Wonderbolts," Rapid Run said.

"Yes," Spitfire answered, "We're all proud of it. Not just me. Been done so for 7 years. The Wonderbolts had been around longer than that, you know." "That is true," Swift agreed.

"Can't deny that," Spitfire agreed. Some time after lunch, the three friends had gone outside. "Now?" Swift began to ask a question. "You want to?" Rapid Run asked. "Sure," Spitfire answered happily. "I was going to complete that," Swift groaned.

"Sorry about that, my love," Rapid Run said. "So more flying?" Spitfire suggested." "Sure," both Rapid Run and Swift answered.

As the three friends flew all over Equestria, Spitfire began to think about something. "I wonder," she thought, "these two had proven themselves worthy of Wonderbolt material. I'll go for it." "What's on your mind?" Rapid Run asked Spitfire.

"Well," Spitfire said in response.
