Now For What They Want

Some time after Halifax's important meeting, both he and his girlfriend, Sapphire Joy are now deciding on what they are going to do for the rest of the day. "So," Sapphire Joy said, beginning the conversation, "Halifax? Anything?"

"Sorry," Halifax answered, "That meeting took a while and I've put a lot of thought into it. And now, I can hardly think. Can go out for a while? Sorry." "Oh, sure," Sapphire Joy answered, "An don't worry about it, because it's fine with me."

"Okay," Halifax said as the two ponies set out together. Both Halifax and Sapphire Joy did enjoy walking through Ponyville. "Ponyville is sure wonderful," Sapphire Joy said, "It's just as nice as the Crystal Empire." "Thanks," Halifax answered quietly.

"Well," Sapphire Joy said, trying to think of something to say, but had a hard time in doing so. Then she finally said, "I was going to make some comparisons, but after being away for about 1,000 years, it's hard to come to grips with reality."

"Yes," Halifax replied, "Things have changed a lot." Halifax decided not to talk about what had been going on in in the 1,000 years of the absence of the Crystal Empire, and instead focus on what is going on today. "I'm not going to do that again," Halifax said.

"What are you talking about?" Sapphire Joy asked her boyfriend. "Oh, something," Halifax said, "So?" "So," Sapphire Joy said in response, "What's going to happen now? It's up to you." "Well, actually," Halifax said, "It's your decision." "All right," Sapphire Joy said as both ponies continued on their way.

"It's time to move on with every ponies' lives," Halifax said, "What's done is done and it's time to move on to the future. For everypony. For us." Sapphire Joy heartily agreed.

Nearby, however, both Snips and Snails, whom survived after getting squashed by a rock, were still figuring out the whole situation. Snails obviously forgot what Snips was talking about, but Snips was determined to prove that he had seen a crystal pony.

"Uh, I don't know what we did to get Silver Spoons angry," Snails said, but Snips didn't care. "I'll show them that I've met a crystal pony," Snips said to himself with determination, I'll do it!" "Uh, what did you say?" Snails asked, still clueless.

"Never mind," Snips said, now ignoring Snails. Snips is now more determined to see Sapphire Joy as a crystal pony more than ever.
