Hey, guys! Welcome to the new chapter of Avatar: The Blue Spectator Chronicles! I hope you guys will enjoy it...anyway, I don't own anything, except for my OCs as the OC Mako Yami belongs entirely to 9655.

NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!

{Book 1: Water-Chapter 7: Winter Solstice, Part 1: The Spirit World}

We cue to the cloud skies as we see a Messenger Hawk floating onto the scene and flapping his wings as it was then scared off by Appa, who flew forward with a mighty roar as we see Aang sitting lazily on Appa's head with a twig in his mouth while the others sat in the saddle as Sokka was carving something with an uninterested look on his face, Naxon was lying on the ground with his arms placed behind his head and staring out into the sky with a tranquil look on his face, Momo and Fluffy were sleeping on the luggage, Mako was lying on top of Okami and staring down at their map in his arms curiously, and Katara was lying on her stomach as she popped up on her elbows and stared dreamingly over the rim of Appa's saddle.

"Those clouds look so soft, don't they? Like you could just jump down and you'd land in a big, soft, cottony heap?"

"Maybe you should give it a try," Sokka suggested with a mocking smile as Katara glanced over at him in annoyance and laughed sarcastically.

"You're hilarious."

"Even if he is being a dick about it, Sokka is right," Mako says as everyone turns to him. "Only an idiot would try to jump down to land on a cloud.

"Ooh, I'll try it!" An excited Aang yelled while reaching over to grab his staff and jumped off Appa with a big smile on his face as he began to fall and turned once around his axis, winking at the camera as he passed and Aang fell down spreadeagled, laughing joyously as Naxon and the others pop their heads over the rim, looking down in the direction Aang went as said person smiled broadly and fall down through a cloud, disappearing from sight as Naxon looks bemused, Katara looks somewhat worried, Sokka was wide-eyed, and Mako was shocked as the Avatar suddenly comes back up from behind them on his glider and flew down to plop down on the saddle while closing up his staff and dripping wet as he grinned cheekily. "Turns out, clouds are made of water."

"Yeah, no shit, dude," Naxon stated deadpannedly with Mako nodding in agreement as Aang shrugged casually before breathing in deeply and slammed his balled right fist against his stretched left hand, creating an expanding air ball around him in the process, drying himself off as the smiling Avatar then leaned back to rest on both his hands and contently looks at Momo, whose fur got all fluffed by Aang's Airbending as Naxon rolled his eyes playfully, Mako laughed, and Sokka looked unimpressed as Katara glances over at her brother, but her attention is drawn to something over his shoulder.

"Hey, what is that?" Katara asked while pointing downwards as Naxon and the others glanced over at the direction from where she was pointing and were shocked to see a large dark patch of burned land standing out among the lush green of the forest below them.

"It's like a scar..." A stunned Sokka says as we then fast forward in time and we see Team Avatar-Spectator landing in the scorched forest as they stand in the middle of a gray, barren patch.

"It's so quiet...there's no sign of life anywhere..." A horrified and shocked Naxon says while having Fluffy lay on his head as a sad-looking Aang walks forward and Katara notices this as she frowns concernedly.

"Fire Nation!" An angry Sokka yelled after spotting the footprints near him as he growled furiously. "Those evil savages make me sick! They have no respect for-,"

"Sokka, chill," Mako ordered with a glare as Sokka turned to scowl at him grumpily.

"What? I'm not allowed to be angry?" Sokka asked as Mako merely pointed ahead and the Water Tribe Boy flinched worriedly at the sight of Aang sumpling down into the ground as he was downcoasted by the sight of the scorched forest.

"Why would anyone do this?" A dejected Aang asked while kneeling down on the ground as he picked up some ash and watched on sadly as it slowly seeped through his hand and dropped to the ground. "How could I let this happen?"

"Aang, you couldn't have known that this would happen. It's not your fault." Naxon says reassuringly as Aang looks away somberly.

"Yes, it does. It's the Avatar's job to protect nature, but I don't know how to do my job."

"That's why we're going to the North Pole. To find you a teacher." Katara said with a soft smile as Mako gave her a grim look.

"Aang may be able to get a Waterbending Teacher, yeah, but there are no teachers out there to help Aang be the Avatar."

"Exactly. Monk Gyatso said that Avatar Roku would help me with my Avatar Duties." Aang says as Naxon blinked confusedly.

"But how would Avatar Roku be able to help you when he died over a hundred years ago?"

"Yeah, how are you supposed to talk to him?" Sokka says as Aang's shoulders drop solemnly and allow Momo to come up to land on his lap as he rubs his back.

"I don't know..."

"Uncle! It's time to leave!" A glaring Zuko says while walking through another part of the forest as he looks around with a glare. "Where are you? Uncle Iroh!" Zuko screamed while walking into a hot spring as he spotted his naked uncle sitting inside with his clothes perched on a nearby tree branch.

"Over here!"

"Uncle?" A bewildered Zuko asked as he walked over to him. "We need to move on. We're closing in on the Avatar and the Blue Spectator's trail and I don't want to lose them."

"You look tired, Prince Zuko. Why don't you join me in these hot springs and soak away your troubles?"

"My troubles cannot be soaked away. It's time to go." Zuko stated sternly as Iroh merely grinned at him and chuckled lightly.

"You should take your teacher's advice and relax a little. The temperature's just right. I heated it myself." Iroh says while breathing steam through his nose as Zuko growled and waved his hand around angrily.

"Enough! We need to leave now! Get out of the water!"

"Very well," Iroh says with a shrug while getting up from the hot spring, exposing his naked self to his now traumatized nephew as a shocked and disgusted Zuko frantically shielded his eyes as he twirled around.

"On second thought, why don't you take another few minutes? But be back at the ship in a half-hour or I'm leaving without you." Zuko threatened weakly while stalking off as Iroh slumped back into the hot spring and sighed contently with a sly smirk on his face.

"Water."

A man wearing Nothern Water Tribe clothes weaves a stream of water from the ground as he twirls it around him before thrusting it to the side.

"Earth."

A man wearing Earth Kingdom attire kicks the ground, bringing up a large rock as he punches it to smithereens.

"Fire."

A woman wearing Fire Nation attire crouches down as she summons hot flames from under her feet before leaping up as she does a spinning high-kick that spreads the fire around.

"Air."

A man, wearing Air Nomad clothing, lands on the ground gracefully, and he then proceeds to make a circular motion with his hands and summons a gust of wind as he forms it into a ball and throws it at the readers.

"Shadows."

A woman, wearing Shadow Nation Clothing, could be seen twirling and dancing around, drawing up multiple shadow tendrils as she then tossed it over to slam it across the readers' faces.

"Long ago, the five nations lived together in harmony." Katara's voice was heard as we saw a glimpse of each individual nation and people living in harmony. "But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked," Katara says as we see hundreds of Fire Nation ships invading other cities and burning them to the ground.

"Only the Avatar, master of all five elements, could stop them," Katara says as we see the Avatar standing on top of a pillar as he grins, and his eyes glow blue as he proceeds to perform multiple bending techniques at once. He started out by summoning a Tsunami, then splitting a mountain in half, generating giant torrents of fire by his hands and feet, summoning an air sphere around him that levitated him off the ground, and raising his hands as he summoned multiple giant hand-shaped shadow constructs. "But when the world needed him most...he vanished," Katara says as the Avatar suddenly vanished, and we fast forward a hundred years later, where we see the decimation left by the Fire Nation as they burned everything sight without mercy, not caring who gets in their way as long as they achieve victory in the war.

"A hundred years have passed, and there was no sign of hope of the Firebenders ceasing their attack, but that all changed when my brother and I've discovered a boy who fell from the stars, an alien soldier named Naxon Ecojifan," Katara says as we see her past self, and Sokka looking up in shock as an unknown object fell down from the sky and crashed down as they investigated the crash site, and were surprised to see a wounded Naxon came out of his ship as he crashed down on the floor, and Katara look down at him worriedly while Sokka stared at him suspiciously.

"Naxon explained to us about the war going on his own planet Elysium, and how the Ventis, a race of hostile aliens led by the great and powerful General Tes'lar, effectively dominated them," Katara says as we cue to space, where we see General Tes'lar commanding his Ventis army to take down the Detanons, who tried to fight back but were quickly overwhelmed as they were forced to retreat.

"But the Detanons haven't lost hope as Naxon and his uncle formulated a plan to prepare a base for the Detonans on Earth. Once the base is constructed, Naxon and his people will reunite to end their war once and for all." Katara says as we see the Detanons retreating to a large tower and run over to the escape pods while Naxon and Tarkal are formulating a plan. After agreeing with his uncle's plan, Naxon left for Planet CV-52, but not before giving one last somber look at his planet as he promised his people that he would come back and flew off.

"After explaining his backstory, we had agreed to help him and taken him in as one of our own. A few weeks after going on a fishing trip, my brother, my friend, and I have discovered the new Avatar, an Airbender named Aang." Katara says as we see her past self, Sokka, and Naxon finding Aang trapped in an iceberg as his eyes and tattoos were glowing brightly. "And although his airbending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone," Katara says as we see Aang standing in a meadow with a grin on his face as he created an air sphere and jumped on it as he laughed and rolled across the meadow, but lost control as he crashed against a stone column and fell down.

"But luckily, he's not alone as Aang will get help from an old friend," Katara says as we see Aang standing on top of a mountain's peak, looking down at the four nations that he will be protecting as Aang feels a little bit nervous, but calms down as a blue glove was placed on his shoulder, and Aang looks up to see Naxon giving him a reassuring smile while wearing his Blue Spectator Armor as Aang smiled and grew determined as the Avatar and The Blue Spectator looks down at the five nations fearlessly, ready to face whatever danger comes their way.

~{Avatar: The Blue Spectator Chronicles Intro Over}~

"Hey, Aang," Katara asked with a big smile on her face while approaching Aang, who was still sitting on the ground somberly with Naxon sitting next to him as Mako and Sokka stood near them. "You ready to be cheered up?"

"No-Ow!" Aang says before yelping in pain as Katara randomly throws an acorn at him "Hey, how is that cheering me up?!"

"Cheered me up," Sokka says with a chuckle as he then yelped in pain when an annoyed Katara throws another acorn at him. "Hey!"

"Yeah, you deserve that," Mako says with a chuckle as Sokka pouted but nodded.

"So, what was the use of hitting Aang with an acorn?" Naxon asked curiously as Katara blushed lightly.

"I thought Aang would catch it with his reflexes," Katara said sheepishly as she then composed herself and turned to Aang. "Look, Aang, these acorns are everywhere. That means the forest will grow back. Every one of these will be a tall oak tree someday, and all the birds and animals that lived here will come back." Katara says while placing a third acorn in his hand and closing it as Aang smiles softly.

"Thanks, Katara," Aang says gratefully as Katara smiles at him and Naxon smirks but then frowns suspiciously as an old man approaches them.

"I'm sorry, but who are you, sir?" Mako asked with narrowed eyes as the Old Man, who was named Kay-Fon, walked up to them with a desperate and hopeful look on his face.

"When I saw the flying bison, I thought it was impossible," Kay-Fon says as he glances down at Aang's Airbending Tattoos and his eyes widen in shock. "But, those markings...are you the Avatar, child?" Kay-Fon asked curiously as Aang glanced back at Team Avatar-Spectator, who nodded as the Avatar turned back to nod at the Old Man. "My village desperately needs your help." Kay-Fon pleaded as Team Avatar-Spectator shared a worried and surprised look but nodded as we then fast forward in time and we cue over at Senlin Village at sunset as said village has been partially destroyed and the Old Man leads them to the center of the building as a crowd of people can be seen talking to each other anxiously. "This young person is the Avatar," Kay-Fon says as the Senlin Village Leader walks up to them.

"So, the rumors of your return are true. It is the greatest honor of a lifetime to be in your presence."

"Nice to meet you too," Aang says with a bright smile as Naxon looks around curiously.

"So, uh, is there something that Team Avatar-Spectator can help you with?"

"I'm not sure..." The Senlin Village Leader says concernedly as Kay-Fon steps forward with a serious look on his face.

"You see, Team Avatar-Spectator, our village is in crisis. For the last few days at sunset, a Spirit Monster comes and attacks our village. He is Hei Bai, the Black-And-White Spirit."

"Why is it attacking you?" Mako asked with crossed arms and raised an eyebrow as the Senlin Village Leader shrugged.

"We do not know, but each of the last three nights, he has abducted one of our own. We are especially fearful because the Winter Solstice draws near."

"What happens then?" Sokka asked curiously as Kay-fon turned to him.

"As the Winter Solstice approaches, the Natural World and the Spirit World grow closer and closer until the line between them is blurred completely."

"Hei Bai is already causing devastation and destruction. Once the Winter Solstice is here, there's no telling what will happen." The Senlin Village Leader says concernedly as Aang tilts his head with a thoughtful hum.

"Uh huh, so, what do you want me to do, exactly?"

"Who better to resolve a crisis between the Natural World and the Spirit World than the Avatar himself? You are the great bridge between man and Spirits."

"Right...that's me." An anxious Aang says as Katara spots this and reaches over to grab his arm as she gives the duo a tight smile.

"Sorry, got to talk with the great bridge guy for a second?" Katara says while leading Aang away as Naxon and the others follow after them. "Aang, you seem a little unsure about all of this."

"Yeah, that might be because I don't know anything at all about the Spirit World. It's not like there's someone to teach me this stuff." Aang pointed out as Naxon sighed heavily.

"Figured. Either way, we can't leave these people in danger with Hei Bai. I say Aang and I will confront him and try to figure out what to do from there."

"Agreed," Mako says with a nod as Katara gives them a kind and reassuring smile.

"Well, I think you can do it, Aang."

"Yeah...we're all going to get eaten by a Spirit Monster," Sokka stated bluntly as an irritated Mako bonked him on the top of the head, causing him to yelp in pain as we cue back over to the hot spring and we see a sleeping Iroh being awoken by a nearby stirring in the trees as he narrowed his eyes stoically.

"Who's there?" Iroh asked just as a rat-like animal appeared as he blinked in surprise and smiled warmly. "A Meadow Vole. I should have known. You startled me, little one." Iroh says with a hearty laugh before looking around as the Great Dragon of the West winced at how late it was. "Ah, it seems that I've dozed off and missed my nephew's deadline, but it was a very sweet nap." Iroh says as the Meadow Vole leaps up and down excitedly, but then flinches in surprise and is forced to run away as the earth around him shakes violently, and before Iroh can react, the ground moves towards him as the rock at the bottom of the spring jumps up, capturing Zuko's Uncle as three Earth Kingdom soldiers appeared onto the scene and surround him as they all took fighting poses.

"He's a Fire Nation Soldier." One of the Earthbenders says after noticing Iroh's discarded clothes as the Earthbender Captain studied Iroh's face and his eyes widened in realization as he gasped sharply.

"He's no ordinary soldier. This is the Fire Lord's Brother, the Dragon of the West. The once-great General Iroh, but now, he's our prisoner." The Earthbending Captain says with a sly grin as Iroh gives the captain a very stern and angry look.

"Uh, hello? Spirit? Can you hear me?" Aang asked cautiously as we see him and Naxon making their way out of the center building as they made their way deeper into the Senlin Village, near sunset as the duo were awaiting the Hei Bai. "This is the Avatar speaking with his friend, the Blue Spectator, nearby. We're here to try to help stuff."

"This isn't right." A glaring Sokka says as we see him, Mako, Katara, and the others watching the scene from the inside of the center building. "We just can't sit here and cower while Aang and Naxon wait for some monster to show up."

"If anyone can save us, he can, and if the Avatar is confident that his friend will be able to help him out in the mission, they would be okay," Kay-fon says reassuringly as Mako scowls a bit.

"He still shouldn't have to face this alone," Mako says just as the sun sets as night falls.

"Alright, the sun has set, so the Winter Solstice is here, so where is he?" Naxon asked with a suspicious look as Aang scratched the back of his head awkwardly and shrugged.

"Uh...where are you, Hei Bai?" Aang asked while glancing over at the entrance of the village as he spotted nothing. "Uh...Spirit? I hereby ask you to please leave this village in peace." Aang says while spinning his staff around and sticking it down in an apparent authority manner as nothing had happened. "...Okay, well, I guess that's settled, then," Aang says with a calm smile as he is about to turn around to try and walk away, but is stopped by Naxon as he reaches over to place his hand on his shoulder.

"Wait, Aang, this is too easy, something is up. Look." Naxon says worriedly while pointing ahead as he and Aang spot a 20-foot-tall six-legged black-and-white monster walking up to them as his name is Hei Bai The Black and White Spirit, a Forest Spirit that normally takes the form of a docile panda bear, and has been protecting an Earth Kingdom Forest for thousands of years as the Spirit transforms into his current form whenever he gets angry.

"Oh, hey, you must be the Hei Bai Spirit. My name is Aang. This is my friend Naxon and we're a part of Team Avatar-Spectat–," Aang says before getting interrupted by Hei Bai releasing a harmless burst of blue energy at the duo, shocking them as he then moves past them.

"Well, shit." Naxon cursed with narrowed eyes as a concerned Aang whirled around to raise his hand.

"Wait! I'm the Avatar and I would like to help! Wait up!" Aang screamed while running forward as Naxon sighed heavily and shook his head.

"I knew this would happen," Naxon says as the Alien Teenager then reaches into his pocket to pull out his glowing Blue Spectator Coin. "It's Morphing Time!" Naxon exclaimed while raising his glowing Blue Spectator Coin as a blue glow covered his body, and once it died down, we see that Naxon had transformed himself into his Blue Spectator Form as he then ran forward and we see him and Aang spotting Hei Bai flash-stepping around, wreaking havoc and smashing and blowing up buildings with his sonic blue energy scream as he speeds off.

"The Avatar's methods are...unusual." The Senlin Village Leader says awkwardly and unsurely as Sokka frowends concernedly.

"It doesn't seem too interested in what he's saying."

"Maybe we should go help them," Mako suggested as the Senlin Village Leader shook his head disapprovingly.

"No. Only the Avatar stands a chance against the Hei Bai."

"Aang and the others will figure out the right thing to do, guys," Katara says reassuringly just as Hei Bai smashes another building as Avatar and the Blue Spectator follow after him frantically.

"Please, would you stop destroying things and listen?! I'm trying to do my job as a spirit bridge!" Aang yelled while he and Naxon followed after Hei Bai, who was ruthlessly smashing another building into pieces with his mighty fists.

"I don't think he's listening to you, Aang!" Blue Spectator yelled with a worried tone as Aang narrowed his eyes and glared over at the Spirit.

"Excuse me, would you please turn around?!

"..."

"OKAY, THAT'S IT! AS THE AVATAR AND THE BRIDGE BETWEEN THE NATURAL WORLD AND THE SPIRIT WORLD, I COMMAND YOU TO TURN AROUND NOW!" Aang ordered sternly as Hei Bai turned to face the duo and merely swatted the Avatar away with a punch, sending him flying over to crash against the roof of another building as a glaring Blue Spectator summoned his Spectator Trident and swung it forward to fire a big burst of wind that caused the Spirit to be sent flying over to crash against another building as Sokka and Mako narrowed their eyes at this angrily.

"That's it! They need help!" Sokka screamed while he and Mako ran out of the building as a worried Katara and the Senlin Village Leader tried to stop them but failed as the Water Tribe Boy marched up to the Spirit. "Hei Bai, over here!" Sokka yelled while pulling out his boomerang as he threw it at him, but it barely affected the Spirit Monster as the Water Tribe Boy pouted in disappointment.

"Good work, Sokka," Mako says dryly while rolling his eyes as he and Sokka then walked over to the duo.

"Sokka? Mako? What the hell are you guys doing here? You two need to get to safety." A worried Blue Spectator says as Mako shakes his head.

"No, we'll fight him together, guys." A determined Mako says as Aang frowns.

"But I don't want us to fight him unless-," Aang says before getting interrupted by Hei Bai rushing over to grab Sokka and the Spirit Monster flees.

"Sokka!" A fearful Katara cried out while she and the villagers caught up to the others as a serious Mako turned to his friends.

"You two are the fastest! Go after Sokka!" Mako shouted as the duo nodded and Aang swiftly changed his staff into his glider and he used his Airbending to take off into the air and Blue Spectator quickly covered both ends of his Spectator Trident with blue energy and created a pair of energy wings as Naxon used his own Airbending to take off after the Avatar.

"...Uncle! Uncle, where are you?!" Zuko asked concernedly as we see him and two Fire Nation Soldiers walking over to the hot spring as one of them turned to him.

"Sir, maybe he thought you left without him."

"Something's not right here. I mean, look over at that pile of rocks over there." Zuko says while pointing over at the hot springs as they walk over to it.

"It looks like there's been a landslide, sir."

"Land doesn't slide uphill. Those rocks didn't move naturally. My uncle's been captured by Earthbenders." Zuko says with a serious glare as we then cue back over to the boys and we see Aang and Blue Spectator still pursuing Hei Bai, who held a panicking Sokka as he waved his hands around to get his friends' attention.

"Guys! Over here! Help!" Sokka pleaded as a determined Aang and Blue Spectator flew towards him as they held out their hands and the grunting Water Tribe Boy tried to reach out his hand as well as, before he could grab their hands, the Spirit Monster faded away, taking Sokka with it as a screaming Aang and Naxon flew over to crash against a bear-like statue, knocking them out as they crashed down into the ground, and a couple of hours later, we see the boys awakening as they groaned.

"Ugh, what happened?" Blue Spectator asked groggily as he and Aang were completely oblivious to the fact their bodies were now colored blue and see-through.

"I-I don't know, we were just chasing after Hei Bai and-Sokka!" A worried Aang yelled as Naxon gasped sharply and the boys looked around, hoping to look for Sokka, only to see that he was nowhere to be seen as they stared at each other dejectedly, realizing that they had failed to save their friend as the Avatar and the Blue Spectator shared a somber, defeated tone as we then cue back to the Earthbender Soldiers and we see them riding on Ostrich Horses as they had a captured Iroh riding alongside them.

"Where are you taking me?"

"We're taking you to face justice." The Earthbender Captain says curtly as Iroh raises an eyebrow stoically.

"Right...but where, specifically?"

"A place you're quite familiar with, actually. You once laid siege to it for 600 days, but it would not yield to you." The Earthbender Captain says with a glare as Iroh perked up excitedly.

"Ah, the great city of Ba Sing Se."

"It was greater than you were, apparently." The Earthbender Captain says with a smug grin as Iroh shrugs with a casual smile on his face.

"Hey, I acknowledge my defeat at Ba Sing Se. After 600 days away from home, my men were tired, and I was tired...and I'm still tired." Iroh says with a yawn while falling off one of the horses as the Earthbender Soldiers glared at this in annoyance and got off their Ostrich Horses to go over to grab the Dragon of the West as they dragged him away, not knowing that Iroh had intentionally left behind one of his sandals as he smirked cunningly.

"I'm sure they'll be back," Kay-fon says to Katara and Mako reassuringly as we see them standing near the entrance of the village, waiting for Naxon and the others to come back as the Waterbender sighs heavily.

"I know."

"You should get some rest, Katara. You have been up all night." A concerned Mako says while placing a blanket around Katara's body as Kay-fon nods in agreement.

"Yeah, everything's going to be okay because your brother is in good hands. I would be shocked if the Avatar and the Blue Spectator, as he calls himself, returned without him." Kay-fon says just as the Avatar and the Blue Spectator appeared as they had guilty and somber looks on their faces.

"Katara? I'm sorry, but...we have lost him." Aang says sadly with Naxon nodding in agreement silently as the sun starts to rise.

"The sun is rising. Perhaps they will return soon." Kay-fon says while turning around to walk away as the boys are left confused by this.

"What are you guys talking about? We're right here." Blue Spectator says while waving his hand in front of the Wanderer and Shadowbender's faces, but then he and Aang noticed their Spirit-like Appearance as they gasped in shock. "Uh, Aang? What's going on?"

"Uh, Naxon? Please don't freak out, but...I think that we are in the Spirit World." Aang says with Naxon giving him a stunned look as, unknown to them, Zuko can be seen coming up to Iroh's sandal in the forest and bends down to grab it as he sniffs the shoe with a disgusted look before composing himself as the Former Fire Nation Prince began tracking down his uncle.

"What?! We're in the Spirit World?! How?! Doesn't that mean that we are dead?!" A shocked Blue Spectator asked with wide eyes while reaching up to grab his helmet and take it off as Aang shook his head.

"I don't think so. I think what happened is that our Souls have left our bodies and have entered the Spirit World."

"...Isn't that literally what being dead is?" A deadpanned Blue Spectator says with a big sweatdrop as Aang shrugs with a lopsided nervous grin on his face.

"Don't worry, Naxon, we will figure things out. I promise. Like they said, I'm the bridge between our two worlds, right? And since Bumi says that both the Avatar and the Blue Spectator are bonded by fate, it means that you are too, which explains why you are in the Spirit World with me, so all we have to do is figure out what we have to do." Aang says as Naxon sighs heavily but nods just as Appa appears as Katara and Mako turn to him.

"It's okay, Appa, don't worry. I'm sure they're on their way back. I bet they even found you a bunch of moon peaches for a treat." Katara says reassuringly as Mako reaches over to place his hand on her shoulder.

"Come on, Katara, let's take a quick nap and then look for the boys later on," Mako says as Katara nods and they turn around to walk away as Aang frowns and groans.

"What are we supposed to do? How can we talk to Avatar Roku?" Avatar says while turning his head in disappointment as a sympathetic Naxon was about to say something, but then the duo flinched in surprise as a blue spiritual dragon could be seen flying towards them.

"Shit, we need to run, Aang." Blue Spectator says to Aang, who nods as he is about to try and use his glider to fly away but stops upon remembering that the Avatar doesn't have his glider and merely tries to use his Airbending to send the mysterious spiritual dragon away, only for nothing to happen as he gasped in shock.

"Uh, Naxon? Bad news, I can't use my Airbending in the Spirit World."

"What?" A surprised Blue Spectator says as he tries to use his own Airbending, but fails miserably as the mystical spirit dragon flies over to land in front of them and stretches two of his tendrils over to touch Aang and Naxon's heads, showing them a vision of Avatar Roku and Blue Spectator Xiv flying around on the dragon in the past as the boys gasped in shock.

"Oh, you're Avatar Roku's Animal Guide. Like Appa is to me."

"And Blue Spectator Xiv and Avatar Roku were friends." A shocked Blue Spectator says as Aang nods before turning to the mystical spiritual dragon.

"We need to save our friend and we don't know how. Is there some way for me to talk to Roku?" Aang pleaded as the mystical spiritual dragon nodded and curled around them as Aang and Naxon were quick to get on his head as they then took off into the air and we cue over to a mountain as we see the Earthbenders leading Iroh through the trail and latter looks up at the skies as Zuko's Uncle gasps in wonder at the sight of the Avatar and the Blue Spectator flying through the air on the mystical spiritual dragon.

"What's the problem?" The Earthbender Captain asked with a raised eyebrow as Iroh composed himself and turned to smile at him innocently.

"Actually, there is a bit of a problem. My old joints are sore and aching, and these shackles are too loose."

"...Too loose?" A suspicious Earthbending Captain asked while raising an eyebrow as Iroh nodded and raised his shackles as everyone stopped walking.

"That's right. The cuffs move and jangle around and bump my wrists. It would help me if you tighten them so they wouldn't shake around so much."

"Very well. Corporal, tighten the prisoner's handcuffs." The Earthbending Captain ordered as the Corporal dismounted and moved to Iroh as he went to touch the handcuffs and the Master Firebender subtly breathed deeply and heated up his shackles as he then reached over to grab the Corporal's hand and slammed it into superheated cuffs, causing him to scream in pain as Iroh jumps free and blasts fire at the soldiers with his feet, causing their ostrich horses to jump and run around panickedly as the old man quickly rolls down the hill while the Earthbending Soldiers try to get control of their ostrich horses.

"Whoo-hoo!" Avatar Aang and Blue Spectator cheered loudly as we see them flying through the air at high speeds and arrive at a temple on an unknown island as the mystic spiritual dragon, who was named Fang, phased them into the temple and flew upwards to phase through the roof as they all arrived into a mysterious room and the boys spotted a celestial calendar and a statue of Roku placed before them.

"I don't understand, this is just a statue of Roku." A confused Aang asked as Fang raised two of his feelers and placed them on the boys' heads as they both got a vision of Avatar Roku, Blue Spectator Xiv, and a huge flaming red comet.

"What? Is that what Roku and Xiv want to talk to us about?" Blue Spectator asked as Fang grunted out a small 'Yes'.

"When can we talk to them?" Aang asked as Fang moved his head, allowing a light beam to appear as this is just to the right of Roku's statue and the mystical spiritual dragon pressed his feelers on the boys' heads again as Aang and Naxon saw a vision of the sun setting and rising repeatedly, and the light closing in on Roku.

"Uh what?" A confused Blue Spectator asked as Aang gasped in realization.

"Oh, this is a calendar, and the light will reach Roku on the solstice."

"Okay, this is good to know, but we will deal with this in the next chapter as we need to focus on saving Sokka and stopping Hei Bai." Blue Spectator says as Fang nods and turns around to fly them out of the Fire Nation Temple after phasing through it as we then cut back over to Iroh, who is still rolling down the hill as one of the Earthbender Soldiers hits him with a rockslide, trapping him in a big earth trap as all of the Earthbender Soldiers chased after him, reaching him at the bottom of the hill as they surrounded the defeated Dragon of the West.

"He's too dangerous, Captain. We just can't just carry him to the Capital. We have to do something now."

"I agree. He must be dealt with immediately and severely." The Earthbending Captain says with a sharp glare as a scowling Iroh merely spits out a rock and we then cue over to Katara, who was flying around on Appa over the forest with Fluffy and Momo as she sighs heavily.

"It's no use, Appa. I don't see them anywhere. Our best hope is to go back to the village and wait." Katara says with a heavy sigh as she redirects Appa to the village's direction, not knowing that Zuko was riding below on his Komodo rhino as he found the footprints left behind by the Earthbender Soldiers, but then spotted an airborne Appa as the scarred boy gasped sharply.

"The Avatar and the Blue Spectator!" A glaring Zuko says as he turns slightly, but looks back at the footprints, debating whether he should save his uncle or follow Appa as he then stalks off, not knowing that Okami is walking nearby with Mako riding on top of him as they spot Zuko and immediately recognized him from his friend's description of him as he grows suspicious of him, thinking that Zuko might know where Aang and Naxon are as the Shadowbender commanded Okami to follow after him, and we then cue back over to Fang as we see him taking the boys flying back to the statue at high speeds and Aang and Naxon noticed that their bodies were sitting in a cross-legged position, facing each other near the statue as Fang disappears into said statue and the boys are returned back to their bodies as they opened their eyes.

"You're back!" A happy Katara exclaimed as she spotted Avatar Aang and Blue Spectator Naxon returning back to the village just as the sun started setting as the Waterbender ran over to hug them. "Where's Sokka?" Katara asked as Aang and Naxon shared guilty and somber looks just as the evening gave way to night as we cue back to Iroh, who was lying on a giant rock with his arms held out as the Earthbender Soldiers surrounded him menacingly.

"These dangerous hands must be crushed." The Earthbender Captain says menacingly while bringing up a boulder and preparing to drop it down on Iroh's arms, but is stopped by Zuko jumping onto the scene and kicking the rock away before twirling around to slam his feet down on Iroh's chains, breaking it apart with his strength alone as his uncle grins slyly.

"Excellent form, Prince Zuko."

"You taught me well," Zuko says with a small smile as he and Iroh then strike battle poses with the Earthbending Soldiers doing the same as they surround them.

"Surrender yourselves. It's five against two. You're clearly outnumbered."

"Yeah, that's true, but you are clearly outmatched," Iroh says with a smug grin as the Earthbending Soldiers fire rocks at them, but the Dragon of the West is able to break them by swinging his iron chains around as Zuko easily takes out two soldiers with multiple fireballs as a rock is fired at him, but Iroh catches it and throws it back at the soldiers with his chains, knocking them down as the Earthbending Captain fires three rocks at Zuko, which he dodges as the Banished Prince of the Fire Nation counters with fire blasts that are dodged as the captain then brings up a large mass of rock and was planning to toss it over at a shocked Zuko, but he was thankfully saved by Iroh, who throws his chains around his ankles and pulled forward, knocking him down into the ground and caused the rocks to fall on top of him, knocking him out as Zuko sighs heavily and turned to give his uncle an annoyed look.

"Now would you please put on some clothes?" Zuko pleaded while looking away from his naked uncle, who had lost his loincloth during the battle as, before they could react, Okami ran onto the scene and Mako glared down at them with a smirk on his face.

"Hey, Scarface, are you that moody emo kid that Aang and the others have been fighting?"

"Scarface?! Moody emo kid?!" A glaring Zuko asked as Mako chuckled and was about to attack him, until he noticed Iroh nearby and putting on his loincloth again as he flinched worriedly, knowing that they stood no chance on their own against the Great Dragon of the West as Mako and Okami shared a nervous look.

"...Uh...don't worry, Okami, I have one secret technique that will be able to save our lives," Mako whispered to Okami reassuringly as he then pointed ahead. "Look! Scarface! The Avatar and the Blue Spectator are right behind you!"

"WHERE?!" A scowling and eager Zuko asked while turning around as Mako and Okami were quick to turn around to run away with Iroh watching them intriguingly as he smirked.

"A Shadowbender, it's been a while since I have seen one in person," Iroh says with a hearty laugh as we then cue back to the Senlin Village and we see Avatar Aang and Blue Spectator Naxon waiting at the entrance of the village for Hei Bai as Mako, who had come back to the village earlier, stood in the background with Katara and the other villagers as the Spirit Monster warped onto the scene and roared loudly as it prepares to attack, only for the boys to share a nod and jumped up to land on his head as Aang and Naxon placed their hands on his head with their eyes and tattoos briefly glowing blue as they were able to telepathically read its mind and find out what was going now as the boys dropped down into the ground.

"You're the spirit of this forest." A shocked Aang says as Naxon nods.

"And now we understand why you keep attacking this village. You're upset and angry because your home was burned down."

"Trust us, when we saw that the forest had been burned, we were pretty sad and upset too, but my friend gave me hope that the forest would grow back," Aang says with a warm smile on his face while reaching into his pocket to pull out an acorn and handed over to Hei Bai, who grabs it with his hand as the Spirit Monster smiles softly, and nods as Hei Bai reverts back to his Panda Form and turns around to walks away peacefully, and as it exits, a series of branches grow as three villagers and Sokka emerge from it.

"Sokka!" Katara cheered happily with tears in her eyes as she and Mako ran over to Sokka as the other villagers embraced their kidnapped loved ones.

"W-What happened?" A heavily confused Sokka asked as Mako gave him a worried look.

"You were trapped in the Spirit World for 24 hours! How are you feeling?"

"...Like I seriously need to use the bathroom." An awkward Sokka says as he waddles away, displaying a nauseated look as Katara gives him an unsure gaze and Mako gives him a blank yet disgusted look as we then fast forward in time and we see Team Avatar-Spectator standing in front of the center building as they were talking with the Senlin Village Leader.

"Thank you, Team Avatar-Spectator. If only there were a way to repay you for what you've done."

"You could give us some supplies, and some money." Sokka pleaded as an annoyed Katara elbowed him with a scolding look on her face. "What? We need stuff."

"He's not wrong," Mako says with a shrug as the Senlin Village Leader smiles at Team Avatar-Spectator warmly.

"It would be an honor to help you prepare for your journey." The Senlin Village Leader says while turning around to walk away as Katara then turns to give Aang and Naxon a proud look.

"I'm so proud of you, boys. You figured out what to do, all on your own."

"Actually, we did have a little help and there's something else," Aang says as Mako gives the duo a curious look.

"What is it?"

"We need to talk with Avatar Roku and Blue Spectator Xiv. Aang and I think that we have found a way to contact their Spirits in order to meet them together at once." Naxon says as, while he can contact the Previous Blue Spectator with his magical coin, he won't be able to talk with Roku.

"That's great."

"Creepy, but great." Sokka agreed with his sister as Aang gave them a worried frown.

"There's a temple on a crescent-shaped island and if we go there on the Winter Solstice, we'll be able to speak with them."

"But the solstice is tomorrow." A shocked and concerned Mako says as Naxon nods in agreement with a heavy groan.

"Yeah and what's worse is that this island is in the Fire Nation," Naxon revealed with the Water Tribe Siblings growing fearful while Mako's jaw dropped in surprise as the camera slowly moved up to the moon over the hills.

And done. I hope that you guys enjoy the chapter, and I can't wait to write the next one.

Anyway, as always, I will catch you all later.
