You'd assume Buttercup and Westley's love story would have concluded after they escaped the wicked Prince Humperdinck. But nope, their tale continued as they found out what happens after happily ever after. The foursome continued riding their white horses for days, appreciating the beautiful countryside. But none of them had a precise destination in mind. Then, unexpectedly, one week after escaping the prince, they witnessed something silver striking across the sky.
At first, they didn't know what it was, but they felt a powerful urge to pursue it. Eventually, they sensed a supernatural aura enveloping them. They kept following the silver light until they came to a valley they knew wasn't on any map and was a stronghold of the enchantment.
Standing at the boundary of the valley with her arm outstretched was a gorgeous young woman in a luxurious magenta gown and a flower-patterned diadem. She was tall, voluptuous, and had flawless ivory skin. Her ebony locks cascaded to her waist, and her eyes seemed to be as silver as the wings of the falcon they now realized they'd been tracking.
"Welcome, travelers. I'm beyond pleased you've reached the hidden Valley of Elizeo. I'm Princess Sereneco, the ruler and guardian of this hallowed and mystical valley," she spoke melodiously. Everyone glanced at each other before looking back at the mysterious princess. Princess Sereneco smiled before resuming, "Only those pure of heart are welcome here. I utilized my magic to create this Elizeo to safeguard true love, friendship, and heroism. I had my companion Argento seek you out and bring you here."
Westley was the first to raise his sword, and the otherworldly princess raised her hands peacefully. "You've nothing to fear, young warrior. Again, only those pure of heart can uncover this concealed valley.
You'll have pure hearts bursting with true love. Plus, you understand what a genuine hero is. I'm offering you a refuge to live peacefully for the rest of your lives. Let me show you this haven; you can decide whether to stay or go at the moonrise. I forewarn you: If you choose to go, you'll instantly forget this sanctuary and never be offered it again.
So, let's begin the tour, shall we?" the captivating mystical princess proposed. The four travelers saw no harm in at least giving the place a chance, so they dismounted and followed her down a secret path into the valley. Elizeo's magnificence was beyond measure. It indeed was something out of a dream when it came to the flora and fauna. They also discovered a captivating village full of individuals from all four corners of the world. They're all delighted to incorporate their cultures into one.
The melodious sound of laughter and singing filled the air. Everyone was getting along, and with the hybrid styles of architecture, it was indeed a one-of-a-kind location. Everyone seemed so cheerful and sociable. The four could see that people worldwide could live in harmony as they did in this utopia.
Princess Sereneco introduced them to several different individuals and clarified some of the laws of the land. They had nothing against learning to fight, but according to the law, it could only be used for self-defense if wickedness ever penetrated the mystical barrier. There were a few other restrictions, but nothing outrageous. Ultimately, the group of four couldn't turn down the offer to live here in peace, so Elizeo became their new home.
Buttercup and Westley were blessed with a son they named Toby a few years later. Inigo and Fezzik both found true love in Elizeo. They each had one daughter. Inigo was Luna and Fezzik was Stella. They lived the rest of their lives enjoying their new home and raising their children. All while being thankful for finding out what happens after happily ever after.
