The pod races through space as is there is no tomorrow, zooming through space to leave Thanos's ship behind and to their newfound freedom. Gamora is doing everything she can to make sure the pod continues to run and fly as fast as they can, to give them a distance. But that is proven easier said then done, as it continues at any moment gives a bump here and there, to much of Loki and Gamora's discomfort. Even then the pod continues to run, well as much it could at the moment and even then they need to go further.
Loki doesn't even know how much longer this could go on or if he can stand another minute of this. He has to find a way to stop Thanos for good and yet he has no idea on how he is going to do so. Especially now that Thanos has all six Infinity Stones and Guantlet right in his grasp, at any moment he could snap his fingers and erase all of existence and they are now powerless to stop him. It doesn't help matters that he was the one responsible for this entire ordeal, if he and Darcy hadn't dared to collect all of the Infinity Stones, then maybe none of this would have happened. Maybe the universe would have been better off, if they hadn't interfered...
It would have stopped it or at least delayed the inevitable, then maybe none of this would have happened. The entire universe wouldn't be in jeopardy, Darcy would have never had to live with the fact that they failed and can not do anything to fix it, Jane must have already released how foolish it was to help him and he can already imagine how angry the Avengers and all of the people of Earth are at him in this moment. The worst part is Darcy and now Jane are going to pay the price for his actions, if he could go back and left the moment he first met Darcy to spare her the trouble then he would have, she would have been better off never knowing him.
If that wasn't enough, Loki can not get over the look on Thor's face once he found out the truth, something he was never intending For Thor to find out this way. He should have told him sooner or used an illusion to cover underneath his mask or fought harder or done something that would have prevented this fate. Loki knows deep down, he would rather have his brother believe he's dead than hate him for lying for the rest of his life. At least only then Thor would be thinking on all of the good memories of him and that would be enough, even if he will never be able to make amends or ever allow his brother to see his true self again. Loki know he can never return to Earth, he can't face Thor again or Darcy or anyone else from his past, he just can't...
But right now, that is the least of his worries, as they continue to zoom through space, with the hope they will succeed in their escape and then Loki can figure out what his next move should be. Gamora is steering the pod as fast as she can, hoping that they will still remain undetected and make their escape without any challenge getting in their way. But even then, the pod is not going faster then either one of them is hoping it would and if they are going to do something, then they are going to need to move fast. Especailly before...
"Gamora, whatever you are going to do then it needs to be done right now." said Loki as he points to the pod's scanners. "We can't afford them spotting us."
"I'm trying to see if I can make this thing go faster." said Gamora annoyed as she continues to push harder on excelatator barely reaching the top speed before ultimately falling back to her seat. "It's no use, I can't make it go any faster."
"There has to be a way." said Loki as he frantically try to think of anything before the fear of Thanos consumes his mind.
"I don't know how are we going to escape without running out of gas, unless-" said Gamora before stoping herself.
"Unless what?" asked Loki.
"It's a little crazy, but-" starts Gamora before getting frustrated and covers her face with her left hand as she continues. "Wait what am I saying? Of course it's crazy, I don't know what I was thinking."
"Come on Gamora, how crazy can your idea be?" said Loki.
"Extremely, some would even say life threatening." said Gamora as she turns to face Loki.
"At this point, do we have any other choices?" said Loki pointing out the humongous ship they are trying to escape from.
"I thought of maybe we jump to the furthest coordinates this thing might allow us to." said Gamora. "I can't believe I even thought this was a good idea."
"What are you saying?" asked Loki completely confused. "This is a great idea."
"No it's not." said Gamora. "If we do this, then we have a high chance of this pod possibly cracking and even if that doesn't happen, then we are guaranteed to lose all our fuel and be stranded somewhere in the galaxy."
"But this may be our only chance, if we don't do this then I can not imagine what may happen." said Loki. "Didn't you say you have friends who may be able to help us?"
"Yes, but they can't help us if this pod cracks and we lose oxygen and die." said Gamora. "In case it slipped your mind, this pod has a high chance of breaking and if it does then we're doomed."
"At this point, I am more than willing to take my chances." said Loki. "What else do we have to lose?"
"Our lives, this is a risky move Loki." said Gamora. "You expecting the best outcome without even considering the potential consequences."
"I already thought of the potential consequences of what would happen if we remain here." said Loki. "Just do it."
"Ok, if you say so." said Gamora rather unsure and quickly starts to scroll down the list coordinates and found the furthest one, but before finishing. "Are you sure about this?"
"Absolutely." said Loki.
"Fine, let get this over with." said Gamora as she selected their destination and held on tightly to excelator.
Soon a jumping point appears right before them, a giant hexagon shape that is visible to anyone around the area. Gamora carefully steers the pod towards the jump point, she looks at Loki, who gives her a nod to continue. She takes a breath and flew the pod right in and the dread of what may happen is already consuming her mind, hoping that this is going to end well. While Loki stare into the jumping point, wondering if this is even a good idea or maybe he is being too reckless, but still he can not think of a way on how they can escape without the jumping point. They may not even have a chance, there is no guarantee in survival, but this is the only way to escape and they need to take it.
Gamora carefully push the lever and allow the pod to enter the jump point, without a wasting a second, the pod is sucked right into it. The speed is increasing more and more by the minute, it does not look like it is going to stop or slow down. The adrenaline Loki and Gamora are now feeling is going as fast as a river hitting rapids and nothing can ever stop this feeling or ever allow it to fade away as they continue to fly through all of the following jumps before them. Not even knowing if they are going to make this out alive or if the pod will even survive going this speed for an unlimited amount of time until they reached their destination. But what other choice do they have?
Loki knows that this is their only choice and if they don't take this, then there is no guarantee if they will be able to escape from the scene before Thanos or one of his associates eventually finds them. They had to take this chance or else they will still be stranded in space, in a prison with no escape and no hope for the future. He hold on tight to the edge of his seat and watches the jumps continue on as the pod race through space as there is no tomorrow and it does not seem like it is going to stop anytime soon. He hopes that this works, they make it out alive and he can plan his next move, not in a completely destroyed escape pod floating lifelessly through space. Every moment makes Loki feel as though his world is about to end in any minute, feeling as though he may have made a huge mistake in pushing Gamora to make that jump. But it's too late to turn back now, they have to ride this through to the end, as the pod continues on, all Loki can do is close his eyes and brace himself for whatever happens next...
Twenty Minuetes Later
The pod eventually got out of jumping every jump it needed to reach their destination, it keep on going for a few more seconds before completely stopping. Without a crack in place, only floating through space as a small boat in a giant ocean. Completely alone in space and no one is out there but them, with no planet in sight or another ship, not even a meteor...
There is a silence that is louder than either Loki and Gamora has ever experience, both are unsure if they even survived for a moment. Gamora is the first to examine the situation and the first to get up to start to examine the pod. When Loki opens his eyes, all he can do is express a sigh of relief, as he sees that the pod didn't break and they are both still alive. Loki didn't even know if he could ever forgive himself in his final moments, if he was responsible for what may possibly have been the worst decision he has ever made in his life. At least that's over and Loki knows that he needs to figure out what should be his next move, figure out how he is going to stop Thanos and take back the Infinity Stones.
But first they need to examine the Pod, to see if it still works and if they can still use it to either travel to the nearest planet or to see if they can use the communication systems. Gamora is quickly checking everything and is only making small reactions as she sees the damage and see what they may be in for and to see if they can even repair the ship. From the look of her face, things does not look good and he can tell that they may be in a worser situation then they may have thought. That they may have some more trouble in store for them.
"This is just great." said Gamora as she stares at the controls, completely annoyed. "Just what we needed."
"Please do not tell me that we are now stuck." said Loki.
"If I don't then I would be lying." said Gamora as she sits down. "I should be grateful we are still alive and we are no where near Thanos's ship."
"What's wrong?" asked Loki. "Are the damages anywhere near reparable?"
"Even if they were, unless you have a stash of fuel underneath your cape, we're still stuck here." said Gamora.
"That's wonderful." said Loki. "How are we going to get out of here?"
"I don't know, but I need to see if we can still use the communications." said Gamora. "If they still work then maybe we can make contact for someone to pick us up."
"So, that's it?" asked Loki. "We are simply just going to sit here and call for help, in hopes that someone will come out of their way to rescue us?"
"Yes and it's the only choice we have at the moment." said Gamora. "That is if we can even use the communication systems here, I still need to see if it works."
Without another word said, Gamora got to work on looking at the communication systems and seeing what kind of damage they now have to deal with. The moment is tense, as Loki waits to see what Gamora discovers and what may be their fate, if they will be able to get out of their current situation and if they will even be able to do it at all. He only hopes that luck is on their side, that they will be able to get out of this without having to worry about the potential idea of them being stranded in space without any hope of being rescued.
It only last a few minutes, with a silence that is so unbreakable that it feels as though time has stopped. It would have continued on, before the controls from the panel starts to light up and Gamora pulls herself up with a big smile and turns to Loki as she feels a huge sense of relief and happiness. Loki doesn't even know what may be the results, but from one look at Gamora, he can tell that things may be working in their favor as he sees Gamora more relieved and maybe even hopeful as she now knows the possibilities of their future. She turns to Loki, with a smile and is now becoming more determined in what they may have to do next.
"The communications systems are functional, we can make contact to anyone no further than 800 miles." said Gamora. "I just hope they are in range."
"So, your plan is to just call for help?" asked Loki.
"Do we have any other choice?" said Gamora as she type in a ship's call number, to the communication system
"Are we just going to sit here and simply rely on strangers to get us out of this?" said Loki in disbelief.
"Yes and they are not exactly strangers." said Gamora. "They are friends and the closest thing I ever had to a family."
"Ok, I see you have been busy since we first met." said Loki turning to Gamora. "If these people are friends of yours, at least I can safely say they can be trusted. You have good instincts, you always knew what's best for yourself and I trust it."
"You better hold your breath before you start giving me phrase." said Gamora. "We only have one shot at this."
"Wait, I thought you said the communications are running." said Loki not even bothering to hide his confusion.
"To be honest, I don't even know if they are within the 800 miles or if we have a strong frequency." said Gamora. "It might not also help that there is a small issue with the energy core in this pod."
"What in the nine realms is that suppose to mean?" asked Loki. "I highly doubt that the pod's fuel is going to give us that much of a setback."
"It would if the engine is overrun, if we make one wrong move, one wrong button then it will lead to disaster." said Gamora. "If we are not careful then it may lead in us accidentally blowing up the pod and everything in it."
All Loki can do is stare in silence as he realize what may be at stake if everything goes wrong, how they only have one chance to escape and it is a chance they will need to take. Loki can already imagine what may happen if it does go wrong, not only Gamora and him would be dead, but Thanos will be able to use the Infinity Stones with an ease that would bring an endless amount of catastrophes. He can already see Thanos creating multiple attacks searching for him, hoping to make him pay and later on search for Gamora and once Thanos realize he will never find them, he will use the Stones. Then he can easily destroy the entire universe with a simple snap of his fingers and it will all be over, for good..
The seconds feels as though it is about to reach to an endless eternity, it feels even harder as the wait continues on. Loki would have helped, if only he knew a spell that may help or at least speed it up, then he would have casted it and the worst will be over. For now all Loki can do is wait as Gamora finally push the final buttons and gave it a moment right before, she sat back and waited for the screen to change. It only takes a few seconds before the screen changes and allowing them to see that it's working and they are one step closer on getting out of there. Both Loki and Gamora glanced at each other as they give a sigh of relief, they are on the right track and they are not going to get blown up. Before either one of them can even say word, the transmission will be reached and the screen will only show a line, with a few audio sounds and voices in the background, bits of bickering, really hard to make out.
"Ok, what?" said a male voice from the other side, completely annoyed and frustrated.
"Peter." said Gamora.
"Gamora!" said Peter completely surprised. "Is it really you?"
"Yes." said Gamora as she gives a smile, before rolling her eyes. "Listen Quill, I managed to escape from Thanos's ship. I am in an escape pod and can't leave my quadrent, I am typing in my coordinates and-"
"What happened? Are you ok?" asked Quill deeply concerned. "Where are you?"
"Gamora, are you alright?" asked another male voice, but this time his voice is deeper. "Did he hurt you? If he did, then I vow to make him pay for everything he has ever done to you and-"
"Hold on a sec before you go on your revenge rampage on Thanos, we should first focus on rescuing her." said a raspy male voice to the others before he turns his attention to Gamora. "Hey Gamora, good to hear you make it out of there. Wait till Groot hears about this, he really missed you. So where are you?"
"I'm fine, Thanos hasn't done anything to me, not yet anyway." said Gamora. "I just sent you my coordinates, I can't leave my escape pod and need you to come pick me up."
"Ok, I just got them, we're on our way over to pick you up." said the raspy voice.
"Thanks, just so you know I have an old friend here with me." said Gamora. "He and I helped each other escaped, Thanos is after him too, he needs our help."
"Then we'll do everything we can to help him." said the deeper male voice. "We'll pick him up and see what we can do to help him and figure out how we can stop Thanos from coming after both of you."
"Great, we'll await for your arrival." said Gamora happily.
"Ok, I just placed the coordinates, we're on our way." said Quill. "Though I do have one question about all of this."
"What is it?" asked Gamora, as she and Loki exchange a concerned look to one another.
"Are you or were you both a thing in the past?" asked Quill rather nervously.
"What?" asked Gamora completely surprised and Loki is completely speechless at the question being presented towards him, as he stares in shock.
"It's just sounded like you both sounded kinda close and you never seemed to want to talk about your past or anyone else." started Quill. "So I just thought..."
"We are not close in that way in any shape or form." said Gamora completely annoyed. "He is one of the first two friends I ever had before I ever met all of you."
"Ok, sorry, I just wanted to make sure." said Quill a little uncomfortable. "Especially after everything we've been through and I didn't want to..."
"Seriously, Quill." said the raspy voice. "You do realize you just embarrassed yourself right?"
"Come on, it doesn't hurt to ask and-" start Quill. "Wow, this is really awkward... Hey Gamora, are you still there?"
"Yes, I'm still here." said Gamora annoyed with him, while Loki is covering his face in the background.
"Sit tight, we're coming to get you." said Quill. "According to your coordinates, we will be there in an hour, works for you?"
"As if we have a choice?" said Gamora.
"Just hang in there." said Quill in comforting voice. "We'll be there soon."
"Thanks, see you then." said Gamora, she turns off the communication system and lays her back on the chair, turning her head to face Loki. "It won't be long now."
"Right, are you sure these friends of yours will be open in helping me?" asked Loki. "Not only for after everything I've done, but simply because Thanos is now after me."
"Of course, you heard them through the com. They want to help and they will be more than willing to fight by your side, especially after hearing you being after Thanos." said Gamora. "They all are just as against Thanos as we are, they will help us fight him with you and your friends."
"Friends? I wouldn't call most of them my friends if I am being honest." said Loki at first uncomfortably, before attempting to change the subject. "So this Quill person, from how things sounded, it is clear you are both really close. Does he fancy you?"
"What? No, we're just friends." said Gamora who can't help but smile, before she turned serious. "Besides it would never work between us, he deserves so much better than what I have to offer him and I will never be good enough for him. I don't feel that way and-"
"I never said you did." said Loki as he earned an annoyed look from Gamora. "I may not know him very well, but I do know you and can tell you both care about each other, so you shouldn't let the past determine your future."
"Maybe, but right now we have more important things to worry about then Quill and mine's relationship." said Gamora. "We still need to figure out what our next move should be?"
"If it slipped your mind, are you forgetting that Thanos now has all the Infnity Stones, we are stranded here until your friends arrive, my brother and his friends knows my secret?" said Loki. "Besides Darcy always saw me as a monster and now she and Jane will face the consequences for my actions, not to mention at any moment, Thanos could use the Stones and the universe will end. Things can't get any worse."
"If I'm being honest, I don't see how things can get worse from here either." said Gamora. "But we still have a chance to face him, we can still beat him, if we try to do everything we can to stop him now, then we may be able to finally put a stop to all of this, we can end this."
"Gamora, we need to face the fact that Thanos has the Infinity Stones and Guantlet in his grasp." said Loki. "You know the amount of power he holds in his grasp and there is no way we will be able to face him, let alone survive any battle if we try to fight him alone."
"We won't be alone, we have allies who are now ready to fight by our side." said Gamora. "If we all work together, then maybe we may stand a chance."
"How can you be so sure?" said Loki. "Everyone back on Earth hated me for what I have done, now what happened recently... No one will want to help us or at least will be willing to do so."
"Of course they will, especially since it is clear that we are all on the same side." said Gamora. "As long as Thanos is out there, we are all in danger and we are going to need all the help we can get if we are going to beat him."
"How do you know that?" asked Loki. "If anything things will only get worse from here and I can not see how things can get any better."
"Simple, once my friends arrive then we'll tell them everything and then we can fly back to Terra and-" start Gamora.
"Then what? We will get to Earth and be arrested on the spot?" asked Loki. "Everyone in that planet hates me, there is no way they will help us. Even if we somehow convince them, it will not be enough, it will never be enough."
"Loki, we can't give up, there is still a chance to-" starts Gamora.
"A chance to what? Fight back with the hope that we can somehow miraculously win?" said Loki. "Darcy and eventually I thought that we may have been enough to stop him, that if we gather the Infinity Stones before he does, then it may buy us time to eventually defeat him. Look how that turned out, if anything we helped him win in every possible way."
"Loki, you and Darcy didn't help him win." said Gamora. "That's who Thanos is, he saw an advantage and he took it."
"Are you saying that we may have been partially responsible for this?" asked Loki.
"No, that is not what I am saying at all." said Gamora.
"No, you're right. If Darcy and I never interfered then none of this would have happened." said Loki. "If I left Earth on that night, then maybe I could have bought all of us enough time to at least survive."
"Thanos would have still have found the Gauntlet and the remaining Infinity Stones." said Gamora. "If anything, at least you and Darcy tried to do everything to protect the Stones. That's a lot braver then what most people would do."
"Brave is not the word I would use, if anything I would call it extremely foolish." said Loki.
"Maybe, but at least you tried to defy Thanos and that is more than anyone has ever done." said Gamora. "Thanos has only ever had one goal and you fought back against it. We can't give up, we still have a chance to end this and we are going to end this together."
"How can you be so sure?" asked Loki. "After everything that happened, everything I've done, there's no hope for us to succeed."
"It may feel that way now, but if we don't fight him, then who will?" said Gamora, catching Loki by surprise. "Think about everything and everyone who is now in danger and what will happen to them if Thanos does win. Have you ever seen anyone you care about in danger? Have you ever wanted to fix a mistake so badly that you would do anything to do it? To finally make amends after all you have done and even if it won't change things, at least you know that you've tried and it will at least be enough?"
All Loki can do is stare at Gamora, feeling as though she had said the most impactful thing she has ever said. He does not even know what to say, as the silence around him continue to grow and it becomes even louder more by the second. Remembering all of the things he has done, how he has hurt everyone through his actions and all the people that had to pay the price. His mother lost her life, Thor lost a brother, Jane lost the trust Thor had for her or worse and Darcy ruined her own life for him. If he could only go back through time and somehow find a way to undo what he has done. To bring his mother back, to give Thor the brother he deserves, not ruin Jane's relationship with Thor and give Darcy the life she deserves, he would do it all in a heartbeat. Loki knows that he would, he would do anything to make things right...
"You have no idea, if there was a way I could just cast a spell and everything could magically work out..." said Loki. "I would do it, without a second thought. I just do not know if it is possible..."
"It is, as long as we don't give up." said Gamora. "It may seem hopeless right now Loki, but it isn't as long as we keep on fighting."
Loki turns from her and stares into the endless void of space, letting Gamora's words sink in, as he continues to look on to the horizon. Realizing that he has a choice to make, one where he has to decide what is best, not only for himself, but for the entire universe. Loki knows the best thing for him to do is to go on the run and hide from Thanos, which would be what's best for him in the long run. But what about everyone who is in danger, Thor, Darcy, Jane and everyone else who will pay the price for Thanos's actions. If he simply give up, then it will only lead to more trouble and there is no guarantee how long it will be until Thanos strikes. Taking a breath, Loki turns to Gamora, feeling a huge sense of determination, not even knowing if he is making the right decision, but knows that he needs to do this, he has to...
"Ok, how long is it going to take for your friends to arrive again?" asked Loki.
"An hour." said Gamora.
"Good." said Loki. "This will give me plenty of time to think."
"Think?" said Gamora completely surprised. "About what?"
"This may be the maddest choice I have ever made in my life and I do not really know if I am foolish to even consider it." said Loki. "But I need to try..."
"Loki, what are you-" starts Gamora. "I think I like where this going."
"I know it may seem impossible, it may be foolhardy to think that it may even be possible." said Loki. "But I need to try, I just have to. I know it's too late to fix my mistakes, that it may not be enough. If I don't then who will? I can't let him win just like that, I need to do something, I need to face him again and stop him, I need to do this. I can't let Darcy, Thor, Jane, you and everyone pay the price, it may be too late, but I can't give up just like this, I have to..."
Loki can't help but turn away once again from Gamora, feeling a whole mix of emotions that seem to erupting through his mind. He knows that he has to fix this and the odds are impossible, this may be the hardest thing he may ever had to do, but he is not going to give up without a fight. Loki knows he has to continue on, he has to face Thanos again and stop him for good. He doesn't know if he is making the right choice or if he lost his mind, but Loki knows that he has to do this, he needs to finish what he has started and fix all of his mistakes, somehow...
"It's never late to fix a mistake." said Gamora. "Just know that no matter what happens, I will always stand by your side through this journey."
"Gamora-" start Loki, ready to protest.
"I spent my entire life, dreaming of the day for someone or something to finally stop him, a chance to end his madness for good." said Gamora. "Now that chance is finally happening and that day is finally here. I want to do everything I can to help, besides you can't really expect to win this on your own?"
"True..." said Loki, not wanting to admit it, but will try to figure out what to do about Gamora's involvement later.
"You're going to need all the help you can get if you want to stop him." pointed out Gamora. "I am not going to let you face him on your own, not if we want to stop him for good."
"Ok..." said Loki unsure, before he decides to make the most of it. "Well, it is obvious we are going to have to wait a while for your friends to arrive. Maybe we should use this time to come up with a plan and to figure out what to do next."
Without another word said, Loki and Gamora got to work on planning on what might be their next move. Loki knows that this choice is no where near easy and he has a long road ahead of him, if it is even possible for him to even do this. But deep down, Loki knows he can't give up and even if there is the smallest possibility that he may have a chance to stop Thanos, then he needs to at least try. It may be impossible, but Loki is going to do everything to stop him, before it's too late, before Thanos destroys everything in a snap. He can't fail, not again, this time it is going to be different and Loki is going to make sure of it, somehow. Since Loki can't imagine a world where Thanos completely destroys everything and everyone in the universe, it's not to late to fix this and Loki is ready to do whatever it takes to do it.
The End
Here it is, another deleted scene from Redemption. Yeah, I think this might be my last one for a while, unless you guys are interested in one alternative ending of what if Odin found out about Loki during the final battle. But I have other ideas on how I could expand the Redemption storyline, especially with potentially a sequel one shot, if it comes out it will be a prequel to a potential Redemption sequel.
Plus, I'm back! Well sorta, right now I am still on a break from writing a full on Redemption sequel, but that doesn't mean I can't pop in time and time and let you guys in on a special treat. Plus for me to still be able to do some fanfics before ever doing any of the spin offs and the sequel, maybe even do somethings outside of Marvel when it comes to fan fiction, I have a Frozen idea cooking up and it will be a sequel to the first movie which like Redemption will not follow the original sequels (but it's still in development). But still even then, I would still put out Redemption content like the one shot series, the upcoming Gamora prequel, the holiday special and deleted scenes.
Yeah I have been thinking of releasing a few deleted scenes or at least the ones that I have worked out and reworked some of the concepts to a piece where it would be readable to a general audience. Since this one of the ones I have fully developed, though it might be the last one in a while, but there is another one, it will be a Loki and Darcy one and one got reworked for the one shot series, it might involve Jonthunhiem...
Ok, now to answer the question why it was deleted?
At first I wanted to have a scene where Loki and Gamora talked, especially after they just escaped and Loki may feel at this moment to give up on everything. But to only have a conversation with Gamora, to give him the motivation not to give up and to push forward no matter what. To give Loki the strength to not give up and to keep on the fight. But over the course of the development for the rest of the story, not only it is only drags the story to the point that it becomes repetitive, since we had another scene earlier.
Besides didn't we have enough of the whole Loki looses confidence and someone or mostly Darcy comes around to give Loki the confidence he needs to keep on going? Not only this slowed down the pacing but it didn't add much to the story or the progression. Sure it would give us character development and gave us a Loki and Gamora friendship scene, but I felt like this doesn't add more to the story and it would work better without it. But like the first two deleted scenes, I didn't want to let this go and wanted to share it with you. So I thought why not release it as a one shot/deleted scene, I mean movies and tv shows and heck even cartoons do it all the time, so why can't I for a fanfic?
Yeah, I think I might do another deleted scene in the future, but I can't decide if I should do it. Since it might be an alternative ending where Odin finds out about Loki. Even then it wouldn't really be part of canon and it will be a multi part story, but we will have to wait and see. Since those are the only two that I can see fully coming out and ones I am passionate about in fully bringing it to life, especially since Jonthuhiem idea will be reworked in the one shot series.
Plus the Gamora prequel is right now in development, I have some ideas being shaped up and might have it come out as early as January-Febuary, well if I can make it work that is. But the one thing I can say is that it will take place a few days before Loki landed on the asteroid, right after he fell off the Bifrost. I can't really say much since it is still in development and I might accidentally spoil something.
I am also thinking of doing a sequel one shot to the main Redemption story, it will be about Loki, the Guardians, the Avenger and of course Jane and Darcy going off on an adventure to stop a new villain. It will not only serve as a prequel to a potential Redemption sequel, but may also feature Falcon/Sam Wilson, making his Loki: Redemption debut.
But I am going to say that I am going to take things slow as I focus on my own projects, the Frozen idea, a possible Redemption sequel and developing these ideas for the spin offs and not too mention give me some wiggle room without having set deadlines and allowing you guys have good quality stories and for me to be able to enjoy what I am doing without feeling as though I have to rush or make things absolutely perfect and stressing myself like crazy. At least it will give me some wiggle room to do this, give you guys a few bonus content and have a life in between right?
I'm also thinking of possibly doing one-shot chapters for Redemption, it takes place during the time skip and it can be anything like slice of life fics, Loki teaming up with the Avengers or just Thor and Loki as Mysto of course. teaming up (it can be a midquel story with multiple chapters), maybe even a Loki and Hiemdel team up or maybe even Loki and Darcy's adventures of searching for the Infinity Stones. But it has to take place during the time skip and not be something that would add more to the main story that it would be necessary to read them. They are mostly would be stand alone stories that still in the Redemption canon and yet still be part of the story (think of it like a spin of series of a movie that the story takes place between the previous movie and the sequel like How to Train your Dragon (the first and second) or Tangled (for the movie and Ever After short) for example.) I'm open to any ideas you guys might have, just put a review or pm me with your ideas and I'll be happy to use your ideas to write them into one shots. (Maybe even a Guardians of the Galaxy prequel/midquel before Gamora got caught by Thanos or even one before she even met Loki or went through the events of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie?)
Though I would be mostly doing Loki ones but I am open to the idea, but I was also thinking of having them to be more interconenctive than one may think, that it would be telling an overall story which would serve as a prequel, but at the same time they would be stand alone stories and within them, they will have a story arc that will lead into the rest of Redemption after the Age of Ultron arc. But the Gamora one is definitely going to be a prequel and I think I would probably at least have that one up, so that way we will see the start of her journey before meeting Loki and how she started her journey. (It's the only thing I can promise at the moment.) :)
f you guys want to share a favorite moment or have any questions, you guys are so welcome to leave a review or pm me. I'd be happy to answer any questions and be happy to hear from you when it comes to anything you all may have to say. :)
Sorry for the spoilers for anyone who haven't read Redemption for any spoilers you may have accidentally found out, hopefully it won't confused you or ruin you from checking out the main story.
This deleted scene would have taken place right before the ending of Chapter 42, sorry for the continuity errors, it's been a while since I have done this and I really wanted to polish up this draft before sharing it with you guys. But for any Redemption readers, if you guys ever want to point out any of the continuity errors, then I will be happy to make the necessary edits.
Like the fanfic, any deleted scenes of the original Redemption fanfic are dedicated to a good friend that has been there for me for the last couple of years. One that I will always appreciate that our friendship happened for the rest of my life. I am dedicating this story to Brigitta Pekelharing, a friend that helped me out of the darkness that I often take for granted. But I want to thank her for everything and helping me during the darkest time of my life, her friendship has made me grow into a better person and writer. I am always going to be grateful for the friendship that we shared and the impact that it made on me. In a way if it weren't for our friendship then there might not even be a Redemption because she got me into Marvel movies and helped me at the beginning of writing the fanfic. Thanks Brigitta for everything :)

So yeah, I think that's all from me, I hoped you guys enjoyed this deleted scene and be on the look out for anything that may come out in the future. Until next time, thanks for reading. :)
