Lost and Found in Perfektborg:
NOTE: Molly is this chapter is dressed like the picture of 'Royal Molly McGee's render 2' in the gallery of Molly McGee on the character's fandom Wiki page.
It was a lovely day in Brighton. Molly came downstairs, with her hair tied up in a bun, and dressed in royal-like clothing, and her family was amazed when they saw her...
Sharon: Molly, you look very nice today.
Molly: Thanks, Mom.
Pete: What's the special occasion?
Molly: Well, remember when I told you yesterday that I was going to go to Bizmart?
Sharon: (surprised) Ummm, yes.
Molly: I have to disguise myself to look like someone professional so no one who works there knows I had protested against the store opening in town.
Pete: But why are you going to Bizmart in the first place?
Molly: Dad, I want to check out the store, and also see if there's anything... shady going on behind closed doors. (to herself) Don't worry, Andrea, I'll check if those Bizmart employees are up to something dirty.
Just then, a knocking sound was heard. Sharon went to see who it was, then open the door. It was Libby, who was a bit tired, and yawned...
Molly: (cheerfully) Good morning, Libby.
Libby waves, and says, 'Oh, hello, Molly.
Darryl: Libby, what happened to you?
Libby: I was up very late last night reading a really good book.
Darryl: I guess that explains why you look tired.
Molly: I've asked Libby to come with me. We're taking the bus to Bizmart together.
Pete: Alright, do both of you have your phones?
Molly and Libby got out their smartphones, and held them up.
Sharon: Do you know to call us if something goes wrong?
Molly: Don't worry, Mom and Dad, we've taken the bus before. We know to get off just outside Brighton.
Sharon: Libby, does your mom know you're going there?
Libby: (yawns once again) Yeah, Mrs. McGee. I told her about it just before I came here. Also, I'm going to stay for breakfast.
With some hesitation, Sharon and Pete turned to the two girls...
Pete: Okay, you can go. But remember to call us if there's an emergency.
Molly and Libby nodded, then ate breakfast with the family, then after that, said goodbye to the other McGees...
Darryl: Bring me back something from Bizmart!
They went outside to a nearby bus stop. While waiting, Libby turned to Molly, and sleepily asked, 'Is it okay if I take a nap while we're on the bus? I don't think I can stay awake for the whole ride.' Molly patted Libby on the shoulder, and said, 'Of course, I'll wake you up when we get to our stop.' Libby gave a nod of understanding, and says, 'Thanks, Molly. I appreciate it.' Soon, the bus drove over to the bus stop. Libby and Molly got on the bus together and paid the bus driver the fare with exact change. Then the two girls found a place to sit together.
Molly: Go ahead and take a nap now, Libby. Libby nodded, and immediately put her head on Molly's shoulder, and fell asleep. As the bus was driving, Molly was looking at the buildings in Brighton as the bus was passing them. A little while later, a loose smartphone had appeared on the floor, right by Molly's feet. Curiously, the Thai-Irish pre-teen girl picked up the phone. She pressed a button, which turned it on. It was on MeTube, with a list of cat videos. Molly thought about this. She knew that Libby was sleeping on her shoulder, and needed to be woken up when they got outside Brighton. Molly soon smiled, and said softly, 'Oh, just one video. It won't hurt.' While watching that cat video however, the bus was currently driving out of the town of Brighton, and past Bizmart! After watching the video, Molly had a look of joy...
Molly: (softly) Ooh, that was so cute!
She then raised the smartphone up in the air, to alert everyone, then asked if it belonged to anyone. It was a teenager who raised her hand, and after retrieving her phone, thanked Molly for finding it. After that, Molly looked back out the window, and to her surprise, she saw scenery she hadn't seen in Brighton...
Molly: (a little nervous) Okay, I don't remember Brighton looking like this. I hope we get back on course soon.
A little more passed, but Molly still didn't see anything that resembled Brighton. At that moment, Libby woke up, then yawned and stretched...
Libby: (happy) Wow, that nap was just what I needed. (turned to Molly, who was now looking nervous) Are you okay, Molly?
Molly: Libby, look out the window, and tell me if you see anything different?
Libby looked out the window, and to her surprise, she saw scenery that was completely different...
Libby: Uh, Molly, what happened?
Molly, at that moment, had suddenly remembered everything that happened, to her shock...
Molly: I saw someone's phone come by my feet, and then I turned it on to see if it would work! When it turned on, I saw that it was on MeTube with a list of cat videos! I thought watching just one of them wouldn't be a problem!
Libby realized what this meant...
Libby: (worried) Are you saying... we may have drive past Brighton And Bizmart?!
Molly nodded slowly. Libby turned to the back of the bus, amd saw a lady sitting in the middle row...
Libby: Excuse me, Miss, did we pass Bizmart?
Lady: Yes, we're now going into Perfektborg.
Both Libby and Molly stared in shock at each other...
Molly: (quietly) Oh, corn.
The bus drove into the town of Perfektborg, and a short time later, the bus stopped near a bench by a bus stop there...
Bus Driver: Last stop, everyone off.
Molly and Libby looked at each other, wondering if either of them should say something to the driver, but after they saw the lady walk past them, they both just got off the bus quietly. The bus drove off, and the two girls looked at the Scandinavaian-esque buildings across and around them...
Libby: (a bit upset) Molly, of all the time you had to be distracted, did it have to be on a public bus?
Molly: (sighs) Sorry, Libby. I guess I messed up.
Libby: It's okay. Anyway, how are we going to get home? We are stuck in Perfektborg!
Molly checked her dress pocket, and felt something...
Molly: Wait, I got my phone!
Libby: That's great!
Molly: Let me call Mom and Dad!
As Molly turned on her smartphone, it immediately went off due to loss of power...
Molly: Oh, crud! I forgot to recharge it!
Libby then got out Her smartphone, and tried to call her mother, except... it also went off due to loss of power!
Libby: (groans) So did I.
Molly: Well, this is great.
Libby: Do we stay here and wait for the next bus to arrive?
Molly: I think it would be better if we find an open place and ask someone there for help.
Libby agreed, and the two girls walked left, and when they got to a street corner, they saw a diner called 'Georgette's'. They went into Georgette's Diner, and looked at the decor inside...
Molly: Whoa, this place is pretty cool.
Libby: (smiles) Yeah, they did a pretty good job here.
Molly gave Libby a happy look...
Molly: Do you want to get something to eat?
Libby: Uh, Molly, shouldn't we think above getting back home?
Molly: Don't worry, we'll just have a small snack, then we'll ask when the next bus comes.
'Well, I am feeling a bit peckish.' said Libby. She then thought about it for a moment, then decided...
Libby: Okay, we'll get a snack, then we'll find a way home.
Molly: That's the spirit, Libs.
Libby and Molly went to sit at the front stool chairs, then asked a waitress there for two hot fudge sundaes and two strawberry sodas. Molly paid for the sundaes, while Libby paid for the strawberry sodas. Both girls happily ate and drank, and when they finished...
Libby: Wow, that was a great snack.
Molly: I told you.
Libby: Now we should find out when the next bus comes.
Molly nodded, then she checked her wallet...
Molly: (shocked) What?! I'm out of money already?!
Libby, now worried, checked her wallet...
Libby: Oh, no! I'm broke too! How are we going to get home now, Molly?!
Molly: Don't worry, Libby, we could just explain the situation to someone here, and they could help us.
Libby: Are you okay with that?
Molly: Well, it's better than just sitting here.
As Molly and Libby get up and were about to talk to a server about their predicament, a woman wearing a sports uniform saw them from her table, and came over to them. Molly saw that it was someone she had seen before...
Molly: Miss Syvertsson?
Syvertsson: Oh, I remember you! You're that girl from Brighton who team played against us, yah?
Molly: Yah, that's me!
Molly and Miss Syvertsson laughed, while Libby was confused...
Libby: What's going on?
Molly introduced Libby to Miss Syvertsson, the coach of Perfektborg's turnipball team, then told her that in their city's last Turnipball game against their team, she and her team tried to throw the game so Brighton would win, but it didn't quite work out.
Libby: Well, we certainly could use some help right now.
Syvertsson: With what?
Molly: We got on a bus in Brighton, but we're not at the right place. We were supposed to get off at a store just outside town.
Syvertsson: (gasps) What happened?
Libby and Molly explained everything...
Libby: I had to take a nap on the bus because I was tired...
Molly: ... so, I would keep an lookout on when we would get off. But I saw someone's phone come by my feet, and I turned it on, and watched a cat video before returning it.
Libby: Because of that, we missed our stop, and rode the bus all the way to Perfektborg.
Molly: Then we found out our own phones were out of power, and we couldn't call our parents...
Libby: ... so, we went to this diner to ask someone there to help us. But first, we were going to have a snack, before we would get another bus back to Brighton...
Molly ... but afterwards, we both spend all our money on the snacks and soda, and now we don't have any money to take a bus home!
Libby: And to top if off, we have no way to call to let them know where we are!
Syvertsson was looking at the two girls with sympathy, and brought them with her over to the waitress, then explained what had happened. The waitress got on a phone by the register, and immediately made a call. She then told Syvertsson about it, who then told Molly and Libby the news...
Syvertsson: There's a bus coming here to pick you girls up.
Molly and Libby were happy to hear that. Several minutes later, a horn honked from outside. Syvertsson took a look out the door...
Syvertsson: It's your bus!
She walked with Molly and Libby to their bus, and sent them off...
Syvertsson: See you girls around, bye-bye!
Molly/Libby: Thanks, Miss Syvertsson!
They went to the bus, and after Molly used the driver's phone to call her parents, and explained the situation she and Libby ended up in. The driver drove them to the McGee's house. When Molly and Libby got inside, they were greeted with hugs by Sharon, Pete, and Darryl...
Sharon: (excited) Oh, Molly, Libby, we're so glad you're okay!
Pete: We were worried sick!
Darryl: How was it?
Molly: Well, Darryl, I had not mentioned this back after our city competed in that Turnipball match we had against them, but the players from the Perfektberg team weren't bad.
Pete: Well, do you girls want something to eat?
Molly: Thanks, Dad, but we're good.
Sharon: Come on, Libby, I'll give you a ride home.
Libby: Thanks Mrs. McGee. (waves to Molly) Bye, Molly.
Molly: Bye, Libby.
Sharon and Libby walked out of the house, and Pete went to the kitchen, while Molly went to sit on the couch in the living room. Darryl took a seat next to his sister...
Darryl: Molly, are you sure there's nothing scary about Perfektborg?
Molly: (shakes her head) No, Darryl. While the townsfolk there might talk a bit differently, Perfektborg is the same regular town Brighton is, though some buildings there are bigger.
Darryl: Oh.
The McGee siblings sat on the couch...
Darryl: Next time you go on the bus, take me with you. I'd like to see Perfektborg for myself.
Molly: (chuckles) Oh, Darryl.
Molly and Darryl had spent the rest of the day watching TV, then ate dinner with their parents, watched some more TV, then went to bed.
