Ladybug was patrolling alone, making sure those mercenaries or criminals at night don't try to harm innocents. She ran on the rooftops and swung over to the next building. She then heard a cowardly scream in the alley.

"Ah, trouble awaits!" She swung down there.

As she got to the alley, she spotted a goth punk catman fighting a thug. She narrowly dodged when he threw the thug away. But then noticed blood in his mouth like he sank into.

She looked back and saw blood running from the thug's head, "You killed him!"

"He tried to kill an innocent woman and I saved her. Plus, you took Paw Noir's place" Claw Noir wiped his mouth.

"He existed over a century ago. So I'm doing this in his honor, Paw-Wannabe" Ladybug said.

"Ooh, you seem to be a fan of him, lovely lady. Meow" Claw Noir flirted before appearing behind her, "Was he a legend?"

"Yes, he was the city's first superhero," Ladybug said, blushing.

"And here I am as another cat like him," Claw Noir said.

"You may be a Noir, but he's not a vampire" Ladybug turns to face him.

"I'm very real, milady. Someone said that ghosts, monsters, fairytales, even vampires aren't real" Claw Noir paced around her.

"I'm not scared. Should I be scared of you? I kicked every bad guy ass and I haven't gotten killed or beaten yet" Ladybug said, although she can see his fangs but it wasn't enough for her to be frightened since she herself as a civilian loves scary things.

"You're a tough one I see," Claw Noir said.

"And a very badass in everyone's eyes" Ladybug glared at him.

"Feisty, aren't you?" Claw Noir teased.

"Hmph, and who the hell are you? That ghetto badass look makes you look like a hooker at a nightclub" Ladybug gestures his looks.

"Call me Claw Noir, Ladybug. Because unlike Paw Noir I use the claws" Claw Noir said.

"Ah, so you know his stories and his legacy?" Ladybug said.

"Yes, I do" Claw Noir replied.

"My great-great-grandfather passed the stories to my family and me. Paw Noir was a legend and they say he's called Paw Noir because he was compassionate like his soft paws. But then he disappeared and left the world unprotected. No one knew what really happened to him because they never found him" Ladybug explained the story.

"Ah yeah, I've heard the stories too," Claw Noir said.

"But the story also mentioned at one time, the last Agreste boy Adrien Agreste disappeared at the same time as Paw Noir. No one knew what happened to him. I mean he looks exactly like Felix Graham de Vanily, similar in body shape" Ladybug said.

"Yes, but different hairstyle" Claw Noir said.

Ladybug then glances at the dead body the cat killed, "You seem to hate bad guys. I just kick their ass, not kill them. Curiosity killed the cat" Ladybug making fun of him.

"Satisfaction brought it back. I have no choice, I drink their blood to survive" Claw Noir said.

"There's always a choice in life" Ladybug crossed her arms.

"Not in undead life, milady," Claw Noir said.

"So your choice is to kill innocent people? You are definitely the definition of supervillain" Ladybug punched him since he might try to drain her too.

"Agh!" Claw Noir held his head before glaring at her, "REALLY?!" He then engages in a fight.

He tries to kick her when she blocks with her wrist, "You call that a kick?" She punched him.

"You call that a lady fight?" Claw Noir jumped and wrapped his legs around her neck to bring her down with him but she rolled to get free and got up.

"I'm more than a lady!" Ladybug spun her yo-yo.

"You wanna fight rough? Fine by me!" Claw Noir took his staff out.

"Now I'm gonna whoop your ass!" Ladybug laughed and lassoed the trash can to throw at him.

Claw Noir then strikes the can aside and runs towards her, "I'll squash you like a bug!"

"I never get squashed, fleabag!" Ladybug shouted.

She threw s few punches at his head but missed and she proceeded to punch him twice and kick him in the stomach. He tried to return with a sweepkick but she spinkicked at his face. Claw Noir was stunned by the blow and Ladybug stopped briefly to catch her breath.

"I told ya I'm more than a lady" Ladybug panted.

"Impuuuuuurrrrrresive" Claw Noir purred.

"Thanks, but I don't answer to puns," Ladybug said.

"Had enough yet, Ladybug?" Claw Noir asked.

"Are you kidding me? I already kicked your ass" Ladybug said.

Claw Noir wiped the blood from his mouth, "For a lady you're really strong"

"And you're surprisingly faster than a man," Ladybug said.

"And you're surprisingly fearless for a lady that never gets scared" Claw Noir chuckled and tried to remove her mask but it wouldn't come off, "What the?"

It was as if the same like his mask couldn't come off due to the magic jewelry the holder wears to transform into an animal-themed person.

"Get your paws off me?!" Ladybug slapped his hands away.

It took the vampire cat to process that there was another magical jewelry like his, "You wield a magic jewelry too?" He asked.

"Yes, of creation" Ladybug replied.

"I'm not alone" Claw Noir murmured to himself.

"Looks like good luck wins over bad luck," Ladybug said.

"Where did you get the magic jewelry?" Claw Noir asked.

"I don't know. Why should you know my business?!" Ladybug getting annoyed with him.

"Just answer my question or I'll find out myself with hypnosis" Claw Noir smirked evilly.

"Okay! Okay! Don't look at me like that!" Ladybug shut her eyes from getting hypnotized.

"I'm waiting" He sang-song said.

"It just appeared in my bedroom. End of story. That's what happened" Ladybug said.

"Same with mine too. So I guess both of us are not alone. Except I was the first one before you" Claw Noir chuckled.

"Don't ever try to hypnotize me, vampire! That is so abusive!" Ladybug shoved him hard but he was too strong.

"Oh, am I?" He replied.

"I am not one of your vampire brides to be played as toys!" Ladybug growled.

"Well, suit yourself then," Claw Noir said.

"How dare you!" Ladybug was gonna punch him again but he caught her wrist.

"You really get pissed off so easily, huh?" Claw Noir chuckled.

"You don't give up on getting your ass kicked, do you?!" Ladybug smacked his hand off of hers.

"Spare it, Ladybug. We'll have a rematch one day" Claw Noir replied.

"You can't survive in broad daylight, bloodsucker. You'll burn in hell" Ladybug made fun of him.

"Milady, you have no idea what the curse of being a vampire feels like," Claw Noir said.

"Of course I do. Unlike real life, I read vampire novels and movies about it. Except it's not real. You better hurry your ass because it's nearly sunrise. Unless you do want to get sunburned" Ladybug mocked him if he's really afraid of sunlight, "Scaredy cat"

"Whatever, we'll meet again someday, Bugaboo" Claw Noir morphed into a bat and flew away.

"DO NOT CALL ME BUGABOO!" Ladybug yelled by smacking him with her yo-yo at the bat but he just chuckled and flew further away.

He came through the open window of the mansion before morphing back to normal, "Phew, what a night" He said.

The Golden Retriever growled lowly at him that he doesn't trust him when he's a vampire.

"Easy Argos. Easy boy" He tries to calm him down, "I'm the good guy here. I haven't attacked Felix or his family. I'm his distant relative"

Argos grunts between his growls but he still isn't convinced to trust him yet until he proves it well without breaking his trust.

"Look, I've been through worse and I really want to adapt here. Everyone I known in my time are dead" Claw Noir said, "I'm not who I used to be but I will one day prove I'm still him" He tries to pet Argos.

The dog growled softly but decided to trust him a little and allowed him to pet him gently since he was only used to Felix petting him.

"Good boy" Claw Noir pets his head.

"And I see you know a lot about animal rights," Felix said, already awake.

"What? I've seen animals in my time. It's not like I see them as workers" Claw Noir said.

"So, are you adapting? Like a newborn baby taking his first steps to a new century" Felix said, going to his closet to get changed.

"Yes. There's no going back to my old time" Claw Noir said.

"Then perhaps you would meet their descendants. Like I'm descended from you" Felix puts on his shirt.

"Technically I never had kids. So basically I could be a cousin or uncle to you" Claw Noir said.

"So how old were you when you were cursed?" Felix asked.

"16 years old" Claw Noir said.

"Funny. We both look identical with the same height" Felix puts on his pants.

"Were my mom's descendants alike?" Claw Noir asked.

"Yes. My mother has a twin sister that looks similar to her. Her name's Emily II and she's named after your mother" Felix said.

"Ah. I guess the Graham de Vanily genes can actually create look-a-likes. And none of them ever told their kids the story of Paw Noir or me?" Claw Noir asked.

"Well, my ancestor, well, your father. Basically, my grandmother knows this and your father went through a lot of grief. It was hard for the family and some never talk about the disappearances of you or Paw Noir. So instead, we just focus on the bright side rather than tragic stories" Felix combs his hair, despite that Claw Noir casts no reflection.

"I see. Plagg claws in" Claw detransformed to feed his kwami.

"I hope you fed. I am not taking my chance to let you drink my blood when we are blood-related" Felix said.

"I already drained one guy earlier," Adrien said.

"You really need a new diet than blood," Felix said before he needed to get ready for school.

"If I could. Well, I'm off for a power nap in the...well...closet" Adrien said.

"It's no coffin but it's the only way to hide from sunlight," Felix said.

"Unless the curtains are covering so I can borrow the bed," Adrien said.

"Funny. Now can you please lay low? As much as I wanna bring you to my school so you can, I don't know, maybe straighten things out more and confront the selfish brat daughter of the mayor. No one has any power to confront her" Felix said before leaving.

"Of course" Adrien replied.

As the day went by all day and Felix came home, he hoped Adrien did not get caught by the maids in the mansion. Every day in that mansion, the maids always do their job. But Adrien managed to avoid them as a spider, hiding in certain places. Felix locks his bedroom door so no one gets in and goes to the closet, to see that Adrien is still asleep while standing and leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

"Wake up!" Felix snapped his fingers.

"WHOA!" Adrien woke up in a jolt, "Jeez, what the hell man?!"

"You looked like you were literally dead by not breathing in your sleep" Felix snickered.

"No! An undead vampire with no heartbeat or pulse!" Adrien yelled sarcastically.

"Simmer down, Adrien" Felix rolled his eyes for his overreaction.

Adrien takes a deep breath to calm down, "Sorry. It just reminds me in my own time I hate waking up so early in the morning. And I can tell by your heartbeat and pulse that you had a very stressful day"

"Yes, that Chloe just keeps complaining all day," Felix said.

"You just gotta show her who's boss" Adrien comes out of the closet.

"Are you kidding me? She's the mayor's daughter. Others tried and when they did, she calls her 'daddy' to force the principal to expel them or he gets fired from his job. Do you really think that's easy to confront a bitch with so much power?" Felix asked with frustration.

"That's blackmailing and abuse of power" Adrien pointed out.

"Exactly. That father of hers, he never disciplined her. You know what happens if a parent doesn't discipline their child for years?" Felix asked.

"They get very spoiled?" Adrien guessed.

"Yes. In every election, he wins the votes. He doesn't do anything right for the people of Paris, he only causes more problems than good just to please his heartless wife and daughter. He's a simple coward who can't stand up against them" Felix said, still angry that he couldn't confront Chloe.

"Not even a city manager? A recall? Or even impeachment? None even tried that?" Adrien asked.

"Nope, the president has nothing to do with it either," Felix said.

"Well, your mayor isn't doing a great job as you described. Has Ladybug tried reasoning him?" Adrien asked.

"Yes, but Chloe constantly bosses her father and he does nothing but to keep her happy. Anyways, don't do something stupid tonight" Felix said.

"I won't but I might face Ladybug again. She's one tough girl" Adrien said.

"She kicked your ass, didn't she?" Felix snickered.

"Yes, she caught me off guard that she also wears a magical item," Adrien said.

"So I guess you're not the only one. She is a badass you know. You think women in your time could not fight?" Felix asked.

"I never said that" Adrien replied.

"But you're thinking it. Here in this world, women are allowed to be at war like soldiers, warriors, anything. Just like Ladybug is doing" Felix said.

"I see. Well, women back in my time weren't allowed to do many things" Adrien said.

"Welcome to the 21st century" Felix chuckled.
