The bus pulled up to Shady Shoals after leaving Rock Bottom. SpongeBob and Patrick excitedly bounced into the retirement home while Sandy followed behind and Squidward and Barnacle Boy both gave blank expressions.

SpongeBob: "Ooh, first we're gonna get to play with some of their weapons."

Patrick: "Then we can mess around with the orb of confusion."

SpongeBob: "Then we dig through the locker of memories."

Patrick: "And drive the invisible boat mobile..."

Barnacle Boy: "Alright that's enough."-said Barnacle Boy, irritated-"Listen we're here to stop those robots, we're all business."

SpongeBob: "Say no more, Barnacle Boy."-said SpongeBob, heroically-"We are all business!"

Barnacle Boy then face palmed before he lead the heroes over to style couch. He then pressed a button that made the couch rise into the air and reveal a secret passageway. The five then jumped down the slide that the couch revealed. They slid down until they finally reached the Mermalair. SpongeBob and Patrick looked around in awe before turning to see Mermaid Man at a computer.

SpongeBob: "Mermaid Man."-said SpongeBob, amazed-"I have all your comics, your actions figures, your..."

Mermaid Man: "Wh-what who said that?"-ask Mermaid Man, startled-"Oh it's you. Did I have something for you? I think it had something to do with massaging my feet."

Barnacle Boy facepalmed in annoyance at Mermaid Man for his senility.

Mermaid Man: "No you old coot, your talking about the robots in the Mermalair."-said Barnacle Boy, annoyed-"Gosh it's like I have to do everything around here."

Mermaid Man: "Oh yeah, these robots have taken full control of the Mermalair, including its mainframe. If we don't regain control who knows what could happen."-said Mermaid Man, panicked-"Luckily we just have to get to the Mermalair computer, it's up to you all to stop this threat."

Squidward: "Why us?"

Barnacle Boy: "Yeah, why them?"-asked Barnacle Boy, confused-"We are two perfectly capable superheroes."

Mermaid Man: "Because it's Thursday and we've got a whole bunch of doctor's appointments."-Mermaid Man, explained-"Plus with everyone evacuating our appointments were moved to the doctors in Ukulele Bottom."

Barnacle Boy: "Oh fish sticks, I forgot."

Mermaid Man: "Just get to the Mermalair super computer, she'll tell you what to do."-Mermaid Man explained-"Now to the doctor's office, aawwwwwaaaayyyy."

Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy then got into the invisible boat mobile and drove through the wall, leaving a boat-shaped hole. The heroes then took off and made their way towards the deeper parts of the Mermalair, where they found a spinning platform, with three paths going out of it.

Squidward: "What the barnacles is this!?"

SpongeBob: "Oh this is how we access the lower areas of the Mermalair."-SpongeBob explained-"Basically we go and press each of those buttons that the platforms lead to and spin those cylinders up there so they have the power side facing them."

Squidward: "Well Patrick better take the cylinder, that sounds like something even he couldn't mess up."-said Squidward, amused-"Then the rest of us can take all the buttons."

Everyone nodded in agreement before taking off to their respective areas. Patrick made his way up to the eleven, massive cylinders. He looked around and saw the button on each of them. Patrick pressed the button and caused three of the cylinders to turn around. He nodded with a sense of pride, but this was short lived after he hit the button next to it and two of the cylinders turned back around.

Patrick: "What? Stupid cylinders."-said Patrick, annoyed-"Why won't you work!?"

In Patrick fit of rage he noticed that he had pressed the buttons to turn all of the cylinders around. He simply shrugged this off and went down to the platform.

SpongeBob jumps across the floating platforms until he reaches another part of the Mermalair. He then gets into a position where he fights two ham-mers. SpongeBob does a bubble spin that destroys the first hammer before using a bubble bounce to destroy the other. He was quickly met with a new robot, this one resembling a cowboy and holding what appeared to be a doghouse. The doghouse opened and a small dog-like robot came out of it.

SpongeBob: "Aww, well aren't you cute?"-asked SpongeBob, flustered

The robot then jumped and tried to bite him but he quickly dodged and the robot exploded behind him. The arf then let loose two more that SpongeBob used his bubbles to fend off. SpongeBob then did a bubble bowl, though it only seemed to land on the arf's knee. The robot, nevertheless, went into its hat and retreated from the sponge. SpongeBob followed the robot and as soon as it landed he hit it with another bubble. The robot moved back once again, this time releasing three more robots. SpongeBob then destroyed all the dog-like robots in a bubble spin before sending a bubble bowl towards the robot. Once the arf was destroyed, SpongeBob pressed the button and moved back.

Sandy jumped across a trail of conveyor belts, only wandering how the elderly heroes did this themselves. As she made another jump she noticed a chuck that guarded her path. The chuck threw a bomb that Sandy dodged and threw a lasso around to throw it to the caves below, just before making it to the other side. She was quickly met with a group of g-loves and a tar tar.

Sandy: I reckon y'all wanna stop me."-said Sandy, smirking-"Well let's see just how ya do, ya varmint."

The tar tar began shooting at her but she quickly jumped into the air and threw a lasso around it before pulling it towards her and karate kicking it through the chest. The two g-loves game floating at her before she slammed the tar tar into one of them. The other tried to attack Sandy from behind but she jumped in the air and karate chopped it down the middle. She then went to the button and pressed it.

Squidward was now walking across final path of platforms. He then arrived at a sleepy time and a group of fodders.

Squidward: "I've got no stupid catchphrases to say."-said Squidward, unimpressed-"Let's just get this over with."

Squidward then took out his clarinet and played it, effectively destroying the fodders. Just before the sleepy time could wake up, Squidward used his clarinet to destroy it too, he then walked to the last button and pressed it. Squidward walked back across the path and rejoined with SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy.

Squidward: "Okay we turned the cylinders and hit all the buttons."-said Squidward, blankly-"Isn't something supposed to happen now?"

SpongeBob: "Yeah I think that opens the deeper sections."-said SpongeBob, thinking-"Either that or we just turned on Barnacle Boy's foot bath."

Squidward was about to protest when suddenly a slide appeared in the middle of the platform. SpongeBob and Patrick looked excited and jumped down it. Squidward simply walked down onto it while Sandy jumped down after him.

The group of heroes slid down the slide that descended deeper into the Mermalair. SpongeBob and Patrick both screamed in excitement while Sandy took on a more determined approach and Squidward screamed in terror. The four then came to a stop at the bottom of the slide, taking in the cave-like structure.

Squidward: "Look at this place, would it kill those old bags to put up a rug in here?"-asked Squidward, disgusted-"I mean, how did they even get all this extra space?"

SpongeBob: "Oh that's easy, in episode twenty five the Mermalair was invaded by the digging people of Bermuda and..."

Squidward: "Never mind!"-said Squidward, annoyed-"If you two idiots have watched the stupid show so much, could you please tell me how we're supposed to get all the way to that computer?"

Patrick: "Well why didn't you say so?"-asked Patrick, idiotically-"If episode sixteen they build these secret tunnels that lead right up there."

Patrick then indicated a tunnel beside with light-up tiles on the floor, similar to a dance floor. The tiles seemed to alternate between being blue, yellow and red.

Squidward: "Alright then, let's do this."-"said Squidward, approaching the tunnel

SpongeBob: "Squidward wait, they're..."

Squidward stepped on a red tile and was instantly electrocuted. Squidward, now scorched, flies into the air and lands at the others' feet.

SpongeBob: "...electrified."-SpongeBob finished-"Squidward, you can only step on the titles if they're blue or yellow."

Patrick: "Yeah, if they're red then you'll get shocked."

Sandy: "And just why would they give their own walkway that feature?"-asked Sandy, confused

Patrick: "Um, for security."-said Patrick, nonchalantly-"Don't you watch TV?"

SpongeBob: "Guys, enough."-said SpongeBob, reasonably-"Now let's cross these tunnels."

The first tunnel was simple: a row of tiles that slowly changes from the back. The heroes then quickly ran onto the tunnel's ground and ran quickly from the approaching red tile. After a quick run they finally made it up to the end of the first tunnel.

Squidward: "Well that was easy."-said Squidward, relieved

SpongeBob: "They get harder."

Squidward: "What?"

The second tunnel was where the red approached from the top corner. Squidward face palmed as the four ram onto the tunnel. They ran across until they jumped across the the approaching red tile. They then ran directly to the other side.

Squidward: "That was ridiculous."-said Squidward, tired-"How many more are there?"

Patrick: "Just one."

Squidward: "Well that's just..."

Squidward noticed that the final tunnel was where the tiles alternate in different areas. The group ran onto the largest portion before it quickly turned yellow. Fearing for their lives they quickly jumped onto the next one. They were forced to jump across until finally reaching the other side. The group was now heavily panting as they made it to the other side.

Squidward: "Okay, that was the worst one yet."-said Squidward, exhausted-"Cam things get any worse?"

Suddenly an arf, two chucks and four chomp-bots came into view.

Sandy: "You just had to ask."-said Sandy, sarcastically

SpongeBob: "Come on, guys".-said SpongeBob, prepared-"Let's do this."

SpongeBob first swept through the robots and hit one of the chomps with a bubble bowl, followed by hitting another with a spin. He then narrowly dodged a chuck's bomb before destroying it with a bubble bash. Patrick began stomping out the small robots that the arf released. Sandy then threw her lasso around the arf and held it securely in place. Patrick jumped into the air and uppercutted the arf, sending its head into the caves below. The last two chomps and the other chuck then came running at Squidward. As if on instinct, Squidward took his clarinet and used it to destroy the remaining robots. With the robots destroyed, the path was clear for the group to access the Mermalair super computer. As he approached, SpongeBob turned on the computer and it sprung to life.

???: "Hello, I am M.I.C.A., the Mermalair, Interactive, Computer, Automotive."-the computer, introduced-"Hiw may I assist you?."

SpongeBob: "Oh M.I.C.A. I remember you from episode seventy seven."-said SpongeBob, excited-"But in all honesty the Mermalair is overrun by robots and we need to shut them down."

M.I.C.A.: "I am sorry, obsessive fanboy, but I cannot stop the robots at this time."-said M.I.C.A., gravely-"I'm afraid the robots have tapped into my processors, thus taking control of the Mermalair."

SpongeBob: "Oh no, that's terrible."

Sandy: "Enough yappin', how do we overwrite yer systems?"

M.I.C.A.: "To overwrite the system and regain my control of the Mermalair, you must increase the power."-M.I.C.A. explained-"To do this use the power operated to transfer all power, then come back and hit the Master Shutdown Button."

SpongeBob: "Oh the power transfer was from episode ninety eight."-said SpongeBob, determined-"It's right this way."

The group then traveled to another area of the Mermalair, though this one had what appeared to be a massive track with various puzzles.

Squidward: "So where's the generator."-asked Squidward, blankly-"All I see is a stupid game."

Patrick: "The stupid game is the generator."-Patrick explained-"They wanted more of a challenge so they made this."

SpongeBob: "And not only does it generate power, it opens a prize under the glass case."-said SpongeBob, excited-"Alright let's do this."

SpongeBob goes to the game and presses the button, releasing a massive, metal ball. The ball rolled down the track to where part of it was turned the wrong way, despite his friends' doubts, SpongeBob presses the button that turns it the right way and allows the ball to roll by. When it rolls towards another gap, SpongeBob hits a button that causes a wheel-like seal to go and make the ball roll onto its scoop before being lifted to a higher track. SpongeBob flipped a switched that raised another track to let the ball into the final part of the game, a wooden platform. SpongeBob used a wheel to turn it towards the final cup and when it entered, SpongeBob pressed the button, causing the power to transfer to the computer and the glass case to open.

Patrick: "Oh right on, SpongeBob!"-said Patrick, excited-"Now let's see what we won."

Patrick picked up a comic book and held it to the sky. SpongeBob then ran to him and grabbed the comic from Patrick's hands.

SpongeBob: "No way, the limited edition issue: the Lost Hero?"-said SpongeBob, exited-"It was the only copy!"

Squidward: "Forget the stupid comic!"-said Squidward, annoyed-"We have to go get this place up and running."

They then walked away while SpongeBob stuck the comic inside his head for later. They then arrived and hit the Madter Shutdown button. M.I.C.A. then momentarily shut down before coming back on with a reboot screen. When it was complete, the security system went off and destroyed every robot in the Mermalair.

M.I.C.A.: "The Mermalair is now free of robots."

Squidward: "Thank goodness, now we can leave this place."-said Squidward, annoyed

M.I.C.A.: "Unfortunately it has also momentarily disabled the villain containment system, and some villains have escaped-"said M.I.C.A., showing a an image of seven small dots-"To stop these villains, you will need to become superheroes."

Spotlights then came on and revealed the old suits of Captain Magma, the Elastic Waistband, the Quickster and Miss Appear.

Squidward: "Again with these stupid costumes?"-asked Squidward, annoyed-"last time we put them on, it didn't end well."

SpongeBob: "Come on, Squidward, we've learned our lesson from last time."-SpongeBob urged

Squidward: "I don't care."-said Squidward, defiantly-"I will not put on that suit and that's..."

Captain Magma: "...final."

The group now all stood, once again wearing the suits that they once wore.

Elastic Waistband: "I cam touch my toes again."-said the Elastic Waistband, stretching his legs to touch his feet

Miss Appear: "Since no one answered it last time, does this costume make me look fat?"

Quickster: "Of course not, Miss Appear."-the Quickster, complimented-"Now let's stop some villains."

The four superheroes then split up to stop and recapture the villains.

The Quickster used his super speed to zoom around part of the Mermalair. He had gone in the direction of spot that showed to villains. He arrived at the area and found Man Ray and the Dirty Bubble making havoc, Man Ray was shooting the walls with lasers from his hands while Dirty Bubble swallowed things.

Man Ray: "Hahaha, I don't know how it just turned off but it's so good to be free."-said Man Ray, excited-"Oh now we can get revenge on Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy."

Dirty Bubble: "Oh your preaching to the preacher, brother."-Dirty Bubble agreed-"And what better way to get revenge than by trashing their base."

Quickster: "Too bad it'll be cut short."

Man Ray: "Who said that?"-asked Man Ray, confused

Suddenly the Quickster zip right in front of the two villains with a smirk.

Both: "The Quickster!?"

Quickster: "That's right, and you two aren't going anywhere."

Man Ray: "We'll see about that."-said Man Ray, angrily-"Eat lasers, Quickster!"

Man Ray shot lasers from his hands but the Quickster used his super speed to run out of the way. The Dirty Bubble attempted to swallow the Quidter while but he once again ran out of the way. The supervillains kept attempting to attack the Quickster, only for him to run out of the way continuously.

Quickster: "Man this might be the greatest fight of my life."-said the Quickster, excited-"But how about we wrap things up?"

The Quickster then began running a complete circle around Man Ray and the Dirty Bubble, leaving the two confused about where he was. Soon enough the villains were becoming dizzier by the second. The Quickster grabbed Man Ray and returned him to the chamber where he was once again frozen in Tartar sauce. He then grabbed the Dirty Bubble and left him in his bottle-prison before closing it back up. The Quickster then stood back and looked at the still-dizzy villains.

The Elastic Waistband used his elasticity to travel through the Mermalair. He soon came across one in particular zone and saw Jumbo Shrimp attempting to punch his way through a wall. The Elastic Waistband then stretched and and set himself behind the Jumbo Shrimp.

Elastic Waistband: "Hold it right there, Jumbo Shrimp."

Jumbo Shrimp: "The Elastic Waistband!?"-asked Jumbo Shrimp, shocked-"What're you doin' here?"

Elastic Waistband: "I'm here to stop you."-said the Elastic Waistband, heroically-"Now get back in your cell."

Jumbo Shrimp: "Never!"

Jumbo Shrimp then attempted to punch the Elastic Waistband, but the hero wrapped his arm around the villains. The Elastic Waistband then flipped Jumbo Shrimp onto his back. Jumbo Shrimp used his strength to swing the Elastic Waistband around and throw him into the wall, which made him appear flat.

Jumbo Shrimp: "Haha, so long, rubber band boy."-said Jumbo Shrimp, cocky

Jumbo Shrimp tried to flee but the Elastic Waistband stretched his leg to trip him. The Elastic Waistband then stretched and snaked his body around Jumbo Shrimp before effectively constricting his body. The Elastic Waistband then stretched his head to Jumbo Shrimp's eye level and smirked.

Elastic Waistband: "You really should watch where your going."

Miss Appear and Captain Magma then lurked around the corner of one cave. When they arrived they all saw Sinister Slug, Atomic Flounder and Moth looting from the weapons rack.

Captain Magma: "Alright, how are we gonna stop them?"-asked Captain Magma, confused

MissAppear: "I have an idea."-said Miss Appear, turning invisible

Suddenly a nearby searchlight turned on, immediately catching Moth's attention.

Moth: "Oh, light."-said Moth, excited

Sinister Slug: "Moth, don't..."

The Sinister Slug's warning fell on deaf ears, however, as Moth zoomed towards the light. Moth was suddenly caught by some invisible force.

Moth: "What the?"-asked Moth, shocked-"What is this?"

Miss appear: "What do you think?"

All: "Miss Appear?"

Sinister Slug: "Hold on, Moth."-said Sinister Slug, prepared-"I've got you!"

Sinister Slug then shot a blob of slime from his mouth towards where Moth was.

Captain Magma: "Krakatoa!"

A ball of lava collided with the slime and completely melted it.

Sinister Slug: "Captain Magma?"-asked Sinister Slug, shocked

Captain Magma: "Your not the only one with projectiles, slug."-said Captain Magma, prepared-"Krakatoa!"

Another blob of lava shot out of his helmet, causing the Sinister Slug and Atomic Flounder to jump out of the way.

Atomic Flouder: "Come on I'm old! And I came out of retirement for this."-said the Atomic Flounder in pain-"That's it, I'm going back to retirement".

The Atomic Flounder then pulled away his uniform and left the Mermalair for retirement, and since was retired again, the security system let him out. Miss Appear locked Moth back in his cage while Captain Magma forced the Sinister Slug back into his own.

Captain Magma: "Wow, things actually have gotten better."-said Captain Magma, happy-"You know, that was actually kind of fun."

Miss Appear: "I told ya."-said Miss Appear, becoming visible-"Now let's get going."

The two then left to meet up with the other remaining heroes.

The Quickster zoomed around in search of the final loose villain, only imagining who it may be. He pulled himself to a stop and found an open door. The door opened and revealed a shrimp, no taller than Plankton and with a large horn on his jet pack.

Quickster: "Prawn!?"

Prawn: "Zee one and only."-Prawn taunted

Quickster: "Mermaid Man's most terrible enemy."-said the Quickster, horrified-"The one who washed all his whites with a red sock and turned all his whites pink?"

Prawn: "I personally think pink made him look very pretty. Pretty stupid."-Prawn tormented-"And what are you supposed to be, some kind of mold?"

Quickster: "I'm not mold, I'm a sponge!"-said the Quickster, offended-"There's a cellular difference! A CELLULAR DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!

The Quickster then charged full speed at Prawn, only to be met with a sonic wave and launched directly into the wall. The Quickster ran a loop to where he was now behind Prawn. Prawn began shooting sonic waves but the Quickster moved to the side at each one. The Wuickster then jumped into the air but was some to the floor by Prawn's sonic boom.

Prawn: "It is over, Quickster."-Prawn gloated-"You were not fast enough."

Prawn sent down a sonic boom but it was quickly blocked by a floating plank of metal. Miss Appear suddenly revealed herself as the culprit.

Captain Magma: "Krakatoa!"

Captain Magma then shot a lava ball that destroyed Prawn's jet pack. Prawn attempted to stand back up before he was grabbed by a green-clad arm. He looked and saw that it was the Elastic Waistband who grabbed him.

Prawn: "Unhand me!"

The Elastic Waistband then set Prawn into his freeze chamber and froze him inside of it. The heroes then came and met in the middle.

Quickster: "Hey thanks guys, I really would've been a goner if it weren't for you."-said the Quickster, gratefully

Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy had returned and ate celebratory pizza with the four heroes. The group ate the four pizzas on the table: one plain cheese, one with pepperoni and mushrooms, one with ham and pineapple and one with olives. As the Quickster ate his Hawaiian pizza, Barnacle Boy out a hand on his shoulder.

Barnacle Boy: "Well I must say that you four are great heroes."-said Barnacle Boy, proudly-"You even rounded up the the villains and locked 'em back up."

Mermaid Man: "Yes, you did great, Frankie."-said Mermaid Man, proudly

Captain Magma: "You know, I don't ever want to take this off."-said Captain Magma, happy-"I take back what I said earlier, I love spewing lava."

Barnacle Boy: "Well unfortunately for you, Captain Magma, we need that suit back."-Barnacle Boy explained-"It belonged to an old friend and we can't let anything happen to it."

Suddenly the computer came on to a mysterious caller, though nothing was shown but a simple red line. The line moved as the mysterious caller spoke.

???: "Hello, brave ones."

Miss Appear: "Wait, I know you."-Miss Appear snarled-"Yer the varmint that put me in that robot."

???: "That is correct."-the caller taunted-"But you must know that from the evacuation my robots have attacked the evacuation, and three buses are on Sand Mountain. If you want them safe, you should got there now."

The call then ended as everyone was out into a panic at the revelation.

Quickster: "This is terrible."-the Quickster panicked-"We have to get there, now!"

The group then out there costumes away, even Squidward sad to see it go. They then turned to leave, but Barnacle Boy noticed something.

Barnacle Boy: "Wait, Patrick, is this a pizza stain on your costume?"-asked Barnacle Boy, skeptically

Patrick: "Uh...no."

Suddenly the mysterious mastermind was watching from a chair. He noticed the three buses that had been chased to Sandy Mountain and laughed.

???: "My plan is working perfectly-"he monologued-"Now it's time to get the real fun together."

The mysterious figure then pulled up a map and set the course for the Industrial Park. Suddenly a mechanical force lifted the Chum Bucket off the ground to reveal the hanger beneath it. Twelve chucks then flew up with cables attacked to them. As it was lifted, the cables were revealed to be attached to a massive robot in the likeness of Patrick.
