After three years I feel as if I've gotten enough courage to try and continue this. So many major ideas yet not enough minor details. Though I have been preoccupied with my other stories so that was also an issue. I just hope that this one goes well. Shout's out to PokeLoverTJC!

? POV(Earlier the same day)

'We're so glad to see you again.'

'Hahahaha! Your life's forfeit, boy.'

'Please…save them!'

'Oh, my name's… (Static)'

'Is that really the best that you can do? What an utter disappointment.'

'IMPOSSIBLE! JUST WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU!?'

'Yo, don't worry about that. I'll always be there for ya….yeah…yeah I promise.'

I shot up from my sleep instantly. I rubbed my head as I try to recall just what in the hell kind of dream was that? I can feel a wetness on my hand, which meant that I was sweating. Damn…never had a dream that made me sweat before, not even past nightmares. I mean I heard of something like this happening to some people but I never thought that it'd happen to me. Honestly, I can't even recall the last time I even remember a dream. They just come and go from time to time. But that? I wasn't really seeing, I was hearing and all I heard was voices. Though I can't seem to recall the phrases. I looked to the side of my bed and grabbed my cellphone off my table while turning it on. 6:32 was the time. "Oh come…on." That was unbelievable. I didn't feel rested at all. In fact even though I know I slept for hours it seemed like a couple minutes.

I hate whenever I sleep like that.

"Damn, and I gotta go to school in an hour too, that sucks ass." I begrudgingly got up from my bed which also felt wet because my torso was sweaty.

Hate that too.

I open my door and walk to the bathroom which is literally just a couple steps away. I turned on the light which made me close my eyes. I waited for them to adjust before making my way to the sink. Turning on the faucet I grabbed a big handful of cold water and splashed it against my face, rubbing it as well. Looking up I saw my reflection staring back at me. My eyes were slightly red and dull as if I was smoking weed or some kinda shit like that. Not to mention even when I'm not sleepy I naturally look as if I do drugs.

I can't help it…that's just the way my eyes look! Well…except the red part. That's only when I'm real sleepy.

My black hair was matted down a bit on the left and right side, giving me a small Mohawk look. Yet the hair on the sides behind both ears and the back of my head was cut down "I'll pick it out later." My skin, the only that hasn't changed was caramel brown. Not too dark but at the same time not light either. Oh yeah, that's right. Introductions. Alright then. The names Stephan, Stephan Stedmire. Yeah I know, it's a weird name but I like it…Okay, sometimes I like it but that's only because people keep mispronouncing the dame thing and say "Steven" from time to time.

No, the 'P' acts in place of an 'F' and you mix that with 'Awn'. See how that works? So to idiots it's basically "Stepawn" or "Stephon". My name aside, I'm just a regular 17 year old African-American kid. Nothing really fancy or special about me, though I wish there was. Aw well, I'm sure something interesting will happen sometime in my life. I just gotta be patient for it. Grabbing more water I throw it on my head and rub my hair all around, doing this multiple times. Unlike other races most, if not all, black people kinda have really tough hair to work with. That's why is either, done up, grown out or cut down. But it was thankfully that toughness that makes it durable to just about anything. I decided two years ago to stop getting my hair cut and grow it, but it gets shaped up every now and then…which happened a few days ago. A 'Shadow Afro' is what it's called. I washed my hands of dead hair and checked myself in the mirror again. Now it wasn't matted anymore and gained a nappier, and shorter tone. I turned off the faucet and went back to my room making sure to turn out the bathroom light.

I opened my drawer getting one of my short sleeved shirts that I usually wear as a T-Shirt. This one was black with a stylized hawk catching a snake in its talons. The word 'MEXICO' was below the picture. This was something a friend of mines, Dima, got me but I don't see him anymore though. Still love the shirt, but I'll hate the day when it won't fit me anymore. I don't even know where he got this and I'm pretty sure he didn't actually take a trip to Mexico. He would've told me about that.

I put it on and sat on my bed, getting tired again. "I'll ask grandma to stay home for the day. I'm just not feeling it." Cool thing about my grandmother, I'm allowed to stay home from school for any 5 days of the school year. Considering the fact that I barely use any of the days really makes it cool. Besides she wasn't going to work today either, her being allowed to take off sometimes whenever she wanted too. She doesn't use any sick days.

"(Yawn) I'll tell her when she comes in to wake me up." I laid back down not feeling the wetness of my bed thanks to the shirt. I turned my fan on but faced it away from me. Reason why is because I just wanted the noise it produced, not the wind. Even though it was hot as shit in my room I was never bothered by it. I love heat and felt completely relaxed in it. Don't know why, I just do.

I yawned again and closed my eyes. Hopefully I'll be able to get some real sleep. But I couldn't help but wonder what was with those voices, and who the hell did they belong too? Also, why was mine one of them?

3rd POV

Mew was still flying high in the sky continuing towards her destination. She didn't know what to expect when she arrived at…well, wherever she was going but whatever it would be she needed to prepare herself for it. This world was completely different than hers was. That meant no saying or doing anything that seemed out of the ordinary. Yet…that still seemed like a task because she didn't even know what the people of this world perceived as ordinary either. She gave a sigh. ("This is going to be harder than I thought.")

She didn't look where she was going as she came in contact with really puffy clouds obscuring her vision. She adjusted her flying to go under them right over a group of 3 seagulls. Mew was surprised to see the flock and wondered what they were. ("Wow, they look almost like Wingull, but different. I wonder what they are. Hey, maybe they can help me out a little.")

She flew in bit closer to them until she was within talking distance. The seagulls still not noticing her presence. ("Hello there! Can I ask you all a few questions?") The seagulls cawed in surprise from hearing her. They spread away from her while turning in her direction. The middle seagull was the first to speak.

("Good Lord! Don't ever do that again! You nearly gave us heart-attacks!") Its voice was that of a male. He was also bigger than the other two.

Mew gave an apologetic look. ("Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you all, honest.")

The seagull on the right made a sound similar to a scoff. ("Yeah, that worked out real well.") Another younger sounding male.

("Oh hush. She already said she didn't mean any harm, so drop it.") This one was the female of the group.

Mew smiled at this one. ("Thank you.")

("It's alright, no harm done.") She replied.

The middle seagull who must have been the leader of the group flew closer to Mew and looked at her. Taking in her appearance by flying around her. ("I'm sorry miss…but would you mind telling us exactly who you are? Mainly…what, you are?")

("Yeah…you look like some sort of pink cat. But how come you're able to fly? Without wings no less? That's completely impossible!") The other male said analyzing Mew, who started to feel a little uncomfortable at their gazes.

("You are very strange. Exactly what kind of creature are you? Not any animal that any of us have seen that's for sure.")

Mew was a little unsure on what to say. She didn't see any harm in telling the truth but that would take an incredibly long explanation that she didn't feel that she had the time for. It would also make her sound like her head wasn't screwed on straight. But she didn't think that it would be very nice to lie to them either even if there wasn't a possibility that she wouldn't meet these creatures again.

("Well…my name is Mew. As you can clearly see…I'm not really your average creature. About where I came from, well…let's just say that I come from an incredibly far place from here, with plenty of different and unique beings like myself, called Pokémon. The reason why I'm over here instead of back home is because I'm looking for someone. I tracked him to that city in the distance. But the thing is I don't know how things work or what some of the customs are around here. Also this is the first time I've seen creatures like you before. Would it be okay if you could help me out?")

The seagulls looked at each other, not really sure if they should help out or not. But this…Mew didn't seem to want to cause any harm. And even though she looked really strange to them she still seemed nice and polite. The lead seagull looked at Mew. ("Pokémon, huh? Never heard of something like that, so we're both lost about one another, aren't we? Well you seem like a fine young lady, and you do seem to be a bit lost. Alright then we'll tell you a few things about how stuff works around here.")

Mew smiled and did a little twirl before circling around them. ("Oh thank you so much! That makes me really glad!")

("Yeah, we can see that.") Said the female seagull gazing at Mew when she was in her vision, before exiting it.

("Ah-hem, okay then.") Mew stopped flying around them all and took her place in front of them once again.

The other male seagull spoke. ("Well we're what you call seagulls. One of the many different birds and many hundreds of different animals in the world. Our kind are usually found where there are bodies of water. As you can see there's a lake not too far from this location.") He pointed his head to the left to the massive lake. ("That's called Lake Erie.")

("Many other animals aren't as sentient as we are. They have either been born or fell into their primal instincts. Unless they're not a potentially dangerous species, those are the ones that you want to avoid. In the Animal Kingdom its survival of the fittest and that can apply to humans as well. But most humans like to keep some animals as pets. The location that we're in is Cleveland, Ohio. That city down there is only Downtown Cleveland with Ohio being the state that all parts Cleveland resides in, along with many other cities.") Said the female seagull.

("Unlike us animals who would only attack or probably flee if provoked, the humans around here are known mostly to attack first and ask questions afterwards. Especially when it comes to something that they don't understand or is out of the norm. Though some aren't like that. Since you're a unique creature I would suggest that you hide yourself incredibly well if you're going to search Downtown. It's not as big as any major city but it can still hold thousands of people and it's easy to get lost. Be as cautious as you can.") The leading one told her.

Mew thought over a lot about what they said to her. Humans obviously existed here since this was another Earth that she was on. Instead of Pokémon there are creatures here that have a resemblance to them yet don't seem to have a specific title and are simply called animals, and by what she was sensing they didn't have any supernatural qualities to them. A good majority of them supposedly weren't as sentient as the sea birds and would probably either attack on sight or just not pay attention to anything that didn't concern them. So that limited her on which animal she could communicate with. And since she didn't know anything about this version of Earth unlike her own that also meant that her choices of talking to humans was also limited. She wouldn't be able to hold a conversation if they referenced something that she had no idea what it was. That would have to probably require a little mind-reading on her part.

She inwardly sighed at her predicament. This was really going to be harder than she thought. She gave a smile. ("Thank you. I appreciate the information and I'll make sure to not draw any attention to myself.")

("You're welcome, glad that we were able to help. But now we have to get back to our own home.") The bigger seagull flew by her with the other two following behind. The female seagull stopped to look at Mew one more time. ("I hope that you find what you came here for. Well so long.") Mew made sure to wave as the bird left leaving Mew alone once again.

She started to fly back to the bustling city a few miles away feeling a little bit more prepared than she was before. This might not be so bad after all. Sure she was going to explore an unknown location and she wasn't sure about the things that she might find once she got there but it could be an interesting experience. But she remembered that she was on a mission right now and didn't really have time to explore. She was still able to sense him…a tiny bit but it was still there. ("I wonder how much he's grown up. Of course the last time that any of us saw our youngest sibling he was just a baby but it's been years since then. I'm actually pretty excited.")

Stephan's POV (Half an hour earlier)

I was woken up from my sweet, sweet sleepy time by an annoying noise that was coming from the side of my face. Moving my eyes downward I glanced at the caller's name on my phone.

*Jonta'e.* It read.

"Oh you…bitch." I whispered to his name tiredly. He always had the tendency to wake me up early in the morning. Or what I defined as early at least. It's a good thing that he hasn't made a habit out of it. Jonta'e is a friend that I met in the 7th grade. I forgot how and why we became friends in the first place because my memory's not that good…short-term memory loss be kicking my ass sometimes…but we really hit it off. It's been 4 years since then. Thing is he's my polar opposite in every way, yet we also couldn't be more alike. It probably has something to do with our *Zodiac Signs*.

He's a Gemini while I'm a Sagittarius. His sign says *Air* yet he feels he's more in tune with fire. Same with me. My sign is *Fire* yet I'd rather be air. Though I like fire too. Jonta'e is so self-reliant and is cynical as shit while I know how to believe in other people and don't like doing things alone. He doesn't show feelings yet he's more rational and (By God, I won't say this to him either) intelligent while I'm more of a spiritual and out-going kind of person. Though I can be unemotional myself…Sagittarius and all that. Every time we try to push each other away it just makes us closer friends and a part of me hates that, but I learned to cope with it.

I can go on forever but you pretty much get the idea. It's the basic principle of 'Opposites Attract'.

Anyway I slowly lift my arm and grab my phone, touching the *Talk* icon on the screen, while also putting the phone on speaker. I didn't want to hold the phone to my head.

"(Groan)". I didn't feel like talking either.

*Hey, bruh?* He asked like he usually does.

"Hmm?" I still didn't feel like talking but I knew that it was soon going to be inevitable.

*What's with the groaning?*

"I was sleeping." Plain and simple.

*Okay, what do you mean you were sleeping?* Oh here we go.

I sucked my teeth. "What do you mean 'what do I mean'? I was sleeping."

*Really, you didn't go to school today because you stayed at home sleep?* There was that slightly unbelievable/sarcastic tone in his voice again. I really hate that.

"I didn't sleep good last night so I didn't go to school today. Matter of fact, what time is it?"

*It's time to be let out of school.*

I woke up a little bit more. "Really, it's 3:10? Damn, I was a lot more tired than I thought. Oh well its Friday though so I don't really care." I said nonchalantly. I mean I won't lie I was surprised that I slept for about 10 hours but I slept in longer.

"Anyway what'chu wanted to talk about?"

*Didn't know if we were still going to go down to Tower City, you know, because you didn't come to school. Started to think you were sick but apparently not since you spent the day sleeping in that hot dark abyss you call a room.* Y-YOU SEE!? Right there! It's that kind of shit that I gotta deal with! I sat up and turned off the speaker, putting the phone to my head.

"Fuck you. My room ain't that hot and it's not that dark." I could hear him snickering not even trying to hide it.

*It smells like musk and ball sweat. Whenever I walk in I can't see shit and I swear to God you just disappear into the blackness without a trace. I can't even see my own hand.*

Now it was my turn to snicker with hand over my mouth. He'll say the most fucked up shit to me all the time yet it's simultaneously funny as hell. It's mainly how he describes how some things are and it's really hard to win an argument against him without you losing your damn mind. I mean climbing Mt. Everest hard.

"I fuckin' hate you." That would have sounded a bit more convincing if I wasn't smiling. When I talk with a smile I have a little bounce in my voice that usually means I'm laughing at something. He knows about this.

*We both know that's a lie. You don't have a life if I'm not in It.* I could just feel him smirking on the other line. Pompous-ass bitch. I'd argue back but we usually don't get anything done that way, so I decided to drop it…for now.

"Anyway, yeah I'm still going. What, you ready to go?"

*For a few hours. My mother picked me up at 2:00 so I've just been sitting home watching Netflix.*

"Alright, then get her to drop you off here."

*I was but she went to the store. She'll be back somewhere around 10 minutes.*

"Alright then, guess I'll get ready." I hung up and placed my phone back on my chair. Sighing I swung my legs off my bed and stood up. The sleep in my system almost gone but not completely. Honestly it's never completely gone, the feeling just eases. A testimony to how lazy I am as a person. I bent my arms behind my back and leaned backwards making a few bones in my spine crack. Man that felt good.

I took off my Guitar Hero pajama bottoms and threw them on my table. Which was really three tables that were screwed and locked together at a right angle, with the table between the first two being round instead of pointed. The clothes in question were my light gray jogging pants and my sleeveless light gray hoodie. The hoodie had a small football design on the top left with 'All Stars' written over it in blue.

Yet I don't like football. I just like the hoodie.

I put that on over my current shirt only showing the short black sleeves. My pants came next. After I was finished with that I went over and grabbed my black leather jacket off a hanger and put it on, with the hood showing over the back. See, I don't have a closet in my room so instead I have a stand where I can hang up my clothes and place my shoes into the slots below it, which I rarely use.

"Almost finished." I mumbled. Looking under the table I got my brown 'Rockaware' brand shoes which also have a slight cross resemblance to boots and put them on. I placed my right foot on my chair and tied the strings. I did the left one afterwards. I dubbed this particular set my 'Adventure Clothes'. Basically it goes off of the principle of it being the same type of play-clothes that I wear all the time like how people do in cartoons or video games. Don't worry I wash them. I mean except my jacket for obvious reasons. Though I have different sets of 'Adventure Clothes' they all mainly have the same style with some slight to major changes. The ones that I was wearing right now was my main set.

I looked into the mirror and saw that my hair was matted down again, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't. I mean this happens all the time so it doesn't even bother me anymore more. I walked back into the bathroom and did the same as before. Give my head a good wash down before rubbing my head all over giving it that same slightly spiked nappy look that I like. My eyes wandered to my toothbrush.

"Should I?" Yes…I was really contemplating if I should actually brush my teeth. Now others might think that not doing it is disgusting but I…personally don't give a fuck. But on the other hand I haven't done so in a few days and I sure as hell didn't want Jonta'e to say shit about my breath. I shrugged and grabbed the mouth wash instead. Taking the cap off I drunk it straight from the head. Pretty sure I don't backwash and the others don't know I do that. What they don't know can't hurt them right?

I swished the liquid around as long and as thorough as I could before spitting it out. "That should be more than enough." Yeah, I just half-assed on brushing my teeth. I half-ass on a lot of things in my life actually and so far none of that has turned against me. I just hope that it will stay that way. Now since I have some time to myself what should I occupy myself with. 'I know.' I moved some stuff around on my table and found what I was looking for. My metallic red Nintendo 3DS. One of the best things that probably happened in my life, besides my PS4 of course.

I immediately turned the game on while the screen showed all the different icons that I currently had. I went straight to the game that was already in the system which read:

*Pokémon Y*

The game dropped 5 months ago on October 12th. It's the 28th of March, right now. Even after all this time I still couldn't stop myself from playing. Obviously, this game was so far the best one yet and I knew that there were more to come. I mean Pokémon Black and White along with their sequels were sweet but Pokemon X and Y? Those two were even better! In every kind of conceivable way! They even got Pokémon from previous regions added in and the characters and Pokemon were all 3-D based instead of being sprites! A 3-D Pokemon on hand-held was something super out of this world! And even though the Kalos region didn't give us many Pokemon, they did give us something incredibly epic! Masuda knew what he was doing when he, I don't know, created the concept of Mega Evolution! Swear I died when I saw Kangaskhan do that shit in a short preview during E3! Fuck, a LOT of people were losing their shit when the new method of Powering up was introduced. Though that mainly split off into two kinds of groups. The first group was the 'OMFG, SERIOUSLY!?' group, which I was part of, and the second one was the 'THIS IS A FUCKIN' RIP OFF DIGIMON!' and that shit. The only thing that's similar between them is Pokemon having mega in the name while Digimon can evolve into a mega form for their final form. And besides, after 5 months of getting to know the Mega Evolution mechanic people, don't say that shit anymore. Not when some of their favorite Pokemon were capable of doing it. I pre-ordered the game 5 months before it was going to come out. And Y because I think Yveltal is the shit! Especially his signature move, 'Oblivion Wing' which is a Flying-type move that takes your health.

What can I say…I love Pokémon.

I mean I really, really love Pokémon. Always Have.

Not only that, with the release of X and Y, Game Freak has also been doing special distributions, both before and after the game. Even now, these distributions will come and go, like my Blaziken with it's Hidden Ability: Speed Boost that can Mega Evolve. I swearr to God, in the future, they're going to have to give Sceptile and Swampert Mega's. You can't give only ONE of any start set a Mega form! Anyway, thank to those give-away's I got me a few members for a nice, solid team and I even have some fav. Mega's too. My Shiny Mega Charizard Y, Mega Blaziken, Mega Lucario, Mega Aggron, Mega Gengar and Mega Mewtwo Y. Mewtwo is OP as is, yet it being able to evolve in ANY form makes it even MORE OP. I haven't seen Mega Mewtwo X in action though and what I mean by that is Mega Mewtwo Y was at least displayed in the movie with Genesect. Showcased just how fucking FAST she was. Like time stopped and everything as she fought Genesect and I have no idea how she could Mega Evolve on a whim. Maybe she was infused with something that let it happen but I don't know if Mega Evolution is possible for other Pokemon without a Keystone or Mega Stone. Whatever. I guess I'll learn more about it whenever. So this was basically how I spent my remaining time until I heard my phone vibrate again. Already knowing who it was I answered it.

"Yo, Jonta'e?"

*Yeah, my mother just got back. So…give me about 15 minutes.*He said.

"Alright." I hung up and breathed slightly.

Aw man, time to go. "Whatever. I can play later." I turned off my game and placed it in one of the hidden pockets inside my jacket. I love my hidden pockets too.

I grabbed my, iPod Touch, phone and ear phones and placed those in my ears. Now finally for the piece that completes my outfit. One of the things that I cherish ever since I discovered them.

…My gloves…

To me these are the best gloves in the entire universe. They're black running gloves that comes with grips on the palm. The tip of the index fingers on both have a material covering them that are touch screen compatible and on the back of the palm was the word 'HEAD' in white upside-down. To be honest I found these things by accident when I went to Costco. I was wandering the store and they were just lying on a rack where they shouldn't be. But at least now I know where to get them. They sell them by the stocks now, both for men and women. The women had a trimmer looking design than the male ones and the word 'HEAD' was written on the wrists.

"Mrow?" My eyes opened at the familiar noise that I just heard. Looking next to my feet I found the source of it. "Oh hey Jynx, what's up?" I asked my animal companion. Jynx was my pet cat…technically. To be honest my grandmother got him about a year and a half ago when he was just a little kitten. A friend of hers said that her cat gave birth to him but she didn't have the means to take care of him. My grandmother thought he was cute to so she decided that she would take him in. When we tried to come up with names she wanted to name him…'Snowball.'

Fucking…Snowball. If that wasn't one of the most stupid things I had ever heard. If you want to give your pet whatever it is a name, don't make them sound like they're objects. Or give them stupid names in general. It was my uncle Dink, his name is Anthony but that's what he's always been called, who came up with the name 'Jynxie'. However, we only call him Jynx now. He was so timid back as a kitten but he was just so small and cute that I couldn't help but continue to interact with him. I'm a sucker for babies, alright? As the days, weeks and months passed I guess that he just became more and more attached to me.

Only to me.

I'm not surprised considering I treat him more as a friend/family member than a pet. I actually care about where he is and what he's doing or if he's eaten' or not. He always purrs when he's around me and I don't even need to do anything like petting him. Though I do like to pet him, which makes me think that he likes me even more. I also like him, both for his personality and how he looks. His coat is completely white, with black fur starting from his forehead ending to the back of his neck. He's really lazy like me, though he can be really active. He can also eat a lot like me. But he can also be stubborn as hell or a major glutton and that gets on my nerves sometimes, but I learned to just cope with it. One of his favorite places to hang around in is my room and I don't mind one bit…except when he's picking around in my trash can. I hate that.

Anyway back to my cat, who started to rub against my leg. "Oh, you're hungry." I said as he mewled again. Well I needed to go downstairs anyway and he hasn't eaten in the past couple of hours. "C'mon." I walked downstairs with him following until he took the lead and went into the kitchen, as if he knew that's where I was going. I guess we built up a routine or something. Anyway I grabbed a can of soft cat food, which he loves a lot better than the hard kind, and emptied the contents in his bowl.

"Mrow." He looked up at me and made his little mewling noise before digging in. I wonder if he was saying 'thanks' just now. This cat has always seemed to be a bit too smart. Especially for an animal. Not saying that animals are stupid, far from it. It's just that it takes dedicating yourself to help them understand certain things, whether it's a phrase or an object. Jynx on the other hand just seems to know what's what at times with no kind of provoking what's so ever. Kind of makes me wonder what goes on through his head.

I squatted down to his level and rubbed his back, making him purr. "Sometimes I wonder if you can even understand what I'm saying." That made him stop eating as he looked at me. I moved my head back a bit as he stared intently before blinking and going back to eating. I stood up a little weirded out by him. 'The hell? Weird ass cat.'

My phone rumbled in my pocket making me fish it out. Wouldn't you know it, it was Jonta'e calling for the third time today. A new record. Didn't need to put the phone to my head since I had my earphones in but I still put the device near my mouth to speak clearly.

*Hey Stephan?*

"What?" I asked.

*There's been a slight change of plans.*I hate when he says that. I usually hate the outcome.

"What are you talking about? Don't tell me you're not going to Tower City." C'mon Jon-I mean I already got dressed and everything…

*Actually, yes and no. See I'm still going but you're going to have to go meet me there.*

"The fuck are you talking about?" I said unamused.

*See what happened was my mom just got a call from Romel (His step-dad). Qui's in the hospital.* Damn…well that just came from nowhere. The timing for this was just too coincidental. Though I can't help but wonder what happened to his big sister, even though I barely even know her.

*Being the caring brother that I am figured that I should go with my mother to check up on her before going Downtown.*

I silently had to scoff to that. "You know that you're bein' fake. Since when did you care for Qui? Don't you usually think of her as the Loch-Ness Monster or…something like that?"

*True, she is disgusting and Shrek doesn't even come close to her grotesque physique…but she's still my older sister, man. I should at least act like I care.* Yeah…that sounds about right. Thought he would have to go to a hospital, or better yet a mental asylum, for a second there.

"So…I should just go on ahead and meet you there then?"

*Yeah… if I can go at least. Sorry 'bout that. I'll call you later.*

"…Alright…" I hung up and sighed. Honestly, I'm not surprised. Usually when we try to make some form of plans something gets in the way of us either doing it or alters whatever it was somehow, but even if that happens we can still make the best out of our time. Hell, we might have more fun than originally intended. But I'm getting off topic. I didn't want to leave by myself but I also couldn't stay in the house. I mean I got dressed and everything, I basically had to go.

"Whatever." I said as I walked out the kitchen, making sure to grab my house keys on the rack, and headed out the door. Surprisingly it was warm outside even though it was cold just a few days ago. Daylight Savings hasn't even started yet but whatever. When you live in East Cleveland, Ohio the weather could be anything at any time. Living here for 16 years had that ingrained into my head. Just because you see the sun doesn't mean it'll be warm. When it's not summer you can't trust it at all. 'Should I take the bus or the Rapid? (A/N Basically to those who don't know it's like a train.) I mean I could get there faster on the Rapid and there would be a lot less stops, but then again I could kill more time on the bus. Fuck…I should've asked him how long he might take. Or, I could take my car I guess...'

"I'll take the bus." I said. I don't have time to be contemplating between my two choices. Even though I might not like it the bus would seem like the better choice. It might take a lot more time than going to the Rapid Station but hey that's kind of what I was going for. I know that if I took the Rapid I would get to Downtown way before Jonta'e. Or I could take my car, which was a burgundy Honda. But I've honestly never driven downtown, so I don't know where'd I'd park for one and for another I'd have to take different routes then using the bus or the rapid. Something I don't wanna experiment with. So as to not wait around for him for who knows how long I'll take the longest route to get there. My timing was also pretty good. Right down the road and across the street from my house was a bus station. It took a few seconds to get there and as luck would have it the bus was right at the light before the stop. The bus itself was actually called the Health-line. It went from Downtown and drives back the same way to a station called Windermere, 2 maybe 3 miles back the other way, from where I was standing.

Anyway the bus finally pulled up to the stop while I stepped in front of one of the many doors. I sucked my teeth as the doors opened at what was inside.

'The fuck?' I thought disbelievingly looking at ALL of the people that were just crammed together in there. This tends to happen a bit too often. I mean I know that the Health-line fills up with people like no one's business but what the hell was going on today? And what in the hell was that odor? It was rancid as hell yet it seemed like no one else noticed it. Either that or they could smell it but they would rather put up with it than walking the rest of the way to wherever it is they had to go.

I widened my eyes and said, "Oh, hell no." I walked away as the Health-line pulled off. I shook my head as I turned to my new destination. The Rapid Station, which was a little ways behind the bus stop, across another street that had a 'White Castle' fast food spot sitting across from it.

"I don't know who…but there were too many stink-butt people on that bus. Plan B." I said shaking my head. Well that's one way to start my day, things are already not going the way that I want them too. Figures, but complaining isn't going to help anybody. Besides whether Jonta'e shows or not won't change anything. It's not like today would be different than any other free day that I had. I'll either be at home or be dragged somewhere by someone but besides that I don't really have much to complain about.

I made it to the station in about a few minutes. Like I said it was a little ways behind the bus stop. I made sure to get my bus-passed marked just in case the transit-police would show up. I took the escalator upstairs then pushed open the door to the platform outside. Turning around I could see everything from the platform thanks to there being no kind of windows or anything. The streets, the tall building in the background, various other shops and so on. Anyway I took my seat on one of the short black marble benches and pulled out my phone. Not knowing how long I had to wait I decided to go through my list of songs to help me occupy myself. I had them arranged into categories or folders so I would know what I would look for whenever I need it. They look like this:

Linkin Park- Linkin Park songs.

Anime Feedback- Songs from Anime, preferably openings and endings.

Beast Rock Tracks- Rock or Metal songs.

Beats- Songs that are more dubstep oriented or is awesome sounding instrumental music.

Eminem- Eminem Songs.

Game Themes- Songs that are based off of or are from video games.

Other Rap- Other rap songs that aren't Eminem

RWBY- Songs from RWBY obviously. More people should watch it.

F.U.N. -Parodies or joke-based songs.

R3ViSi0n- Remixes to songs in some shape or form.

White Noise- Basically my 'other' pile of songs. Songs that are just there that can't be put into a specific category.

Anyway I go through my 'Beast Rock Track' folder and scroll through it. Since I was feeling kind of mellowed out I chose 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons. Since I was alone I decided to sing along with the music as I leaned back on my hands and waited for my ride. I had the music at a volume where I could hear my voice perfectly blend with the lead singer. Singing in the vicinity of others is something that I was never really fond of, even though my grandmother said that I had an amazing voice. She heard me singing 'I'll be Gone' by Linkin Park once. It was totally by accident. I was doing my homework one day while I had my PS3 playing music, since that was the console I had most of it downloaded on before I got my PS4. I do it all the time, to help me concentrate. Next thing I know the song comes on and I'm singing to it. My grandmother open's my door after I was finished and starts to compliment my singing while I just sat there with a small embarrassed smile. Hell, I didn't even know that she was home but I guess when you have your music turned up high enough…

I felt a light rumbling through the marble bench and my feet making me stand up. Even with the music playing in my ears I can still perfectly hear the tremors. Looking down the track I saw the headlight of the Rapid speed this way, making me stand back. The train zoomed by me blowing a gust of wind against my face making my hood waver as it came to a slow stop. The doors opened as some people got off the Rapid while I got on and took a seat right behind the doors. I heard the intercom declaring the next stop come on but thanks to the music I couldn't really hear the name. Not like I need to though, I've been on this things many times. I know what stop was when and so on. My stop Downtown wouldn't be long but it wouldn't be short either.

The doors closed as the Rapid started to take off at a slow pace before increasing its speed to the next stop. 'Radioactive' just ended making me scroll through my song list again. This time I went to the 'Beats' folder and chose the 'Radioactive (Synchronize Remix)'. Hey, it's a cool song and I'd say that the dubstep version of it is even better than the original. Not stopping there I pulled out my 3DS and started to play Pokémon. I really needed to entertain myself for this long ride. This was basically how I was going to spend my time until I got where I needed to go. Hopefully things will start to go my way for the rest of the day.

3rd POV

Mew was currently sitting on top of a very tall building, overlooking all of the people below. She held the golden necklace with the blue pearl on it that Arceus had given her as to help locate their youngest sibling. At first she decided to wait here until she either got lucky and he would walk by or the trinket would pick up on him first. Sad to say neither was happening. She wasn't around any clock so she didn't know how much time had passed since she had chosen to wait it out, but she knew that it had been a long time. She was definitely not one for sitting still, not if she could help it. The more time passed the more she just wanted to join all of the commotion that was happening below her. Sooner or later it became too unbearable for her.

("Well…I guess that it would be okay if I explore a little bit. Who knows? I might bump into Rey while I'm down there. That would be a big coincidence.")

She stood on her feet and jumped from the ledge on the roof of the building. She started to hover afterwards before flying down another side of the building which led to a small vacant area, completely concealed from prying eyes. Seeing nobody around her body was quickly covered in a pink flash of light before dying down. Mew in her human disguise looked to be a teenage girl of 16 or 17 while Caucasian in appearance. Her hair was long while some of it hung over her left shoulder which stopped at the top of her chest. In color it started pink and the very tips it ended in light blonde. She wore a pink white rimmed short sleeve shirt and blue shorts that hugged her legs and stopped a little above her knees. Finally she wore a pair of regular white-laced sneakers. The whole outfit seemed to have brought out her light blue eyes.

"I hope that I don't stand out too much." She looked at the necklace in her hand before placing it around her neck and hiding it under her shirt.

She knew that people would've given her looks if they saw that she had something as valuable as this on her person. Of course there was a chance that they would suspect that the gold could've been fake but the blue gem on the end of it didn't seem so. Especially with the way that it faintly glows at times. Of course no one, at least no one with common sense, would try to take it from her with many people in the vicinity. Besides even if someone did try to take the gem from her she was a Pokémon. A super powerful psychic Legendary at that. She could easily deal with any human, even without using her abilities. But she wouldn't want to draw attention to herself or cause any unnecessary unrest. So hiding it until she found Rey was so far her best option.

Turning her head she saw a path from the vacant lot that she was in, which was narrowed from having the building she was behind on one side and another building on the other. Walking through she took in all of the sights, sounds and people that were around her. It was completely different seeing the city up close instead of an aerial view. Without heading in a specific direction she started to walk, while taking looks at the tall buildings and most of the people. The people seemed to interest Mew a bit. There were your normal joe's that passed by back and forth. Though there were also people, mostly females that had dyed hair. Back in her world seeing people with odd colored hair like blue or green was a normal occurrence. But the hair on some of these people didn't even look natural or fit their skin tone. A few dark skinned women with strands of blond or red hair. A Caucasian teenage girl with rainbow hair. Plus their eyebrows didn't showed their true hair color. Some males were walking around without any shirts on, either. Mew figured that it was because of how hot the day was but she had never seen anything like that before. She giggled to herself. 'Maybe it won't be that hard to blend in, after all. The humans here sure are strange. '

The tall yet close buildings and other attractions really did seem to give off an urban feel. There was a little musical group playing on a large patio that also seem to house a small outdoor restaurant. Construction sites were put up in a few places, showing that new buildings were currently being made. Hot-dog stands were open on every second block or corner. It was just like any normal human settlement she's seen, though the absence of Pokémon was incredibly alien to her. Never in her eternal life would she have believed that she would see a place completely devoid of any of them. It was difficult to imagine for her to live in a world like that but it was a different concept to one who was born into it and one who wasn't. She was brought out of her musings when a tiny pulse from the gem alerted her.

Her eyes widened while she walked to the end of the sidewalk she was on. Doing so for a view of her left because there was a building blocking that side. She looked around, albeit a bit frantically which gave her some looks from some people. Though she ignored them and tried to find the direction of where her youngest brother could possibly be. 'The crystal glowed once to signify that he was in the area but the signal was still very weak. Depending on the direction he's in the gem should start to react again.'

She turned to the left and started walking again, though a bit slower now, paying more attention to the orb-shaped gem. It began pulsing again and the signal was a bit stronger now. Wanting to get an exact pinpointed location she closed her eyes and focused her powerful psychic abilities. It wasn't long before she felt a very tiny but noticeable speck of Aura inside the building beside her.

She opened her eyes. "Rey's in there? He's so close!" She exclaimed in an excited tone before going through the revolving door that led into the place. Inside the building she was very surprised to see how…open the area was. No, it wasn't just open. It was like a mall of some sort that she knows humans like to go. There was a massive fountain on a lower floor that spewed streams of water every few seconds. Sometimes multiple ones and other times single ones but in a pattern. People sat on the marble bench that encircled the outer part of it and there were many coins inside the water. There was even a second pond spurting water behind it, shaped in a circle. Looking up there up 2 extra floors with stairs curving around the second pond and escalators leading up to them. There were many shops on both the left and right sides and they kept going down.

"Oh, wow! This place…it's so amazing!" She said in a breathless tone, gazing all around. She caught a whiff of something very tasty and knew immediately it was food. Though the kind of food she was smelling was so foreign to her that she couldn't place any names on it. Many people were mingling with one another. People held shopping bags, entertained their children or was just sitting around doing nothing. The atmosphere was a big change compared to outside. She walked down the few steps to the level where the fountain was and walked a bit slowly as to not miss anything in her line of sight. For a deity of the Pokémon World she couldn't help that she had a curious nature like that of a child.

The blue stone began to glow again. Yet unlike the other times the glow slowly got a bit more intense. It wasn't anything too bright but it was noticeable. Though Mew found herself a teensy bit preoccupied. Especially when it came to the many different aroma's she was being tempted by.

"Maybe it wouldn't hurt if I take a quick look." She said before following her nose. She walked to the right for a few feet, away from the marble steps. Behind her was another area that was full of marble tables, with many people sitting at them or walking around with trays filled with food. She curiously headed over and the smells became more intense. Coming into the Food Court she could see many different restaurants to both her left and right. Each one serving a different kind of food from different companies.

Her tummy began to grumble and her mouth almost leaked of drool. "Oh no. Now I'm hungry." She looked around and saw that there were some people standing around giving out pieces of food on toothpicks. She couldn't tell if she walked or ran to the one closest to her that seemed to have been serving some sort of meat coated in an orange and yellow sauce.

The Asian woman noticed Mew and jabbed a toothpick in the plastic container full of coated chicken, and speared one before handing it to the disguised Legendary.

"Would you like a sample of our Orange Chicken?"

"Orange…Chicken?" Mew said back.

The woman smiled and nodded. "Never had it before? Try it. I guarantee you'll like it."

Mew slowly reached for the tiny morsel. "Um…thank you, miss." She carefully grasped the think stick out of the server's gloved hands and ate the entire thing. Mew face began to light up with every single chew she took before her mouth was smiling all over. The woman who gave it to her couldn't help but laugh at her expression.

"So…it was good?"

"It was great!" Mew exclaimed happily. "I've never eaten something like that before! Can I have another?"

"They are free samples," she handed Mew another, "here."

She happily took the small piece of food and ate it happily. "Mmmm~. It's so tasty! I wish I could eat it all day!"

The woman pointed to a restaurant that was 10 feet behind her. "Master Wok" were in big yellow letters over the establishment, with 3 Asian people who were running the small place. "Well if you would want to buy some than you can go there. It's one of our best dishes."

Mew nearly drooled at the prospect of getting more food but she stopped herself. "But…I can't. I need to go find…somebody right now," she sighed, "plus…I don't have any money right now anyway."

The woman blinked and said, "Oh, really? Well that's too bad. Well I'm sure you can try our food later."

"I will. Or…I'll try. Thank you, ma'am."

She smiled. "Don't worry about it. I'm just doing my job." She noticed a faint glowing coming from Mew's shirt. "Um...is that one of those special glowing necklace toys?"

Mew looked to her a little confused. "Um…what do you mean? Necklace toy?"

She glanced down to see that the gem was beginning to react underneath her shirt. She gasped as it started to glow more and more, before she covered in with both of her hands. "Um, excuse me!" She rushed away leaving the woman confused. She just shrugged it off and continued to work. Mew looked around the area at the many people that were in the vicinity. Many groups either coming towards her direction or walking away. She left the food court and tried moving through the groups, while looking around random directions. Yet the gem necklace was beginning to glow brighter by the second. "Where!? Where in the world is he!? He has to be so close!"

Because she wasn't watching where she was walking she ran into somebody making them both yelp and fall to the ground. Some people watched the mishap but quickly averted their attention to other things.

Mew pushed herself up in a sitting position and rubbed her rear. "Ow, ow, ow. That could've gone a little better."

"Dammit. Yo, what the hell!?" Someone exclaimed in front of her. She blinked before lifting her head to see a dark skinned boy that seemed to be in his mid-teens. He had nappy black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a lot of gray with a black leather jacket, while in his gloved-hands was a white plastic bag. "GameStop" was written on it in red and black letters and he was staring right at her with a bit of a frown. "Damn. Just bumped right into me." He said in a complaining fashion.

"Oh no. I'm sorry. I…I wasn't watching where I was going." Mew apologized, but the boy just sighed slightly and stood up.

"Nah, it's okay. It was an accident." He said, as he reached his hand down for her to grab.

Mew grasped it before a spark flashed through her senses. Her body tensed slightly and she blinked in complete disbelief. The gem necklace flashed rapidly a few times before it began glowing through her shirt, and it didn't seem like it was going to stop anytime soon. The boy, for his part, felt an instant rush in dizziness as he wobbled a bit, letting go of Mew's hand. He leaned on a support beam and held his head but Mew wasn't focused on that. She just kept staring at him.

'It can't be!? This is Rey!? What are the odds! But...' She thought back to a fair skinned toddler with brown spiky hair and hazel eyes, 'he doesn't resemble anything from way back then. I wonder why. But who cares!? I actually found him!'

When she heard him groan in discomfort she grew concerned and got up. She walked over to him.

"Um…are you okay?" She asked and he just waved her off.

"Just…just got dizzy all of a sudden. But… think it's clearing up. Maybe I should just go to sleep when I head back home." He said, pushing himself from the beam. "Anyway…again, I'm sorry about what happened."

"Oh don't worry about it. It's alright." Mew said, with a slight smile.

He secured the plastic handles of his bag into his fingers. "So…you mind telling me who you are?" Mew was about to speak until her belly grumbled loudly. The boy's eyes widened a bit from the noise. "Holy hell. That was loud." She held it and whimpered pathetically.

"I'm sorry…but I haven't eaten anything in a while, and…I don't have any money."

He leaned his head in with a deadpanned expression. "Are…are you trying to get me to buy you food?"

Mew gasped and shook her head. "What? No! I'm not trying to do anything like that! I was just telling you that-"

He cut her off. "'Cause…I can if you want. Nothing too expensive though." He said casually. Mew blinked a few times, not expecting him to say that.

"You mean…you would do that…for someone you don't even know? Why?"

He shrugged. "Well you seem nice and you sounded," he shook his head, "just so pathetic just now. How long has it been since you've eaten anything? Rhetorical question. I don't want to hear an answer. Anyway...a friend of mine was supposed to meet me here but he's got family business to take care of. So I came alone and just tried my best to entertain myself for about…20 minutes. That means I have no kind of company. I'm not asking you out or anything and I'm don't want to make it seem like I'm asking to hang. Not with a stranger, so don't get the wrong idea."

"But…you want to buy me food," she smiled a bit, "so doesn't that mean…you're indirectly asking me to keep you company anyway?"

He blinked and appeared thoughtless at the inquiry. He scrolled his eyes up as if trying to come up with a valid counter. "Uhhh….damn. I think so?" He placed a hand on his head. "Geez…when you put it like that. I mean...I guess? Like in a way?" He growled in embarrassment. "Look, I'm just trying to be a little nice, is all! I can just leave!"

Mew just couldn't stop her smile from getting any bigger. She turned a bit and placed her hand over her mouth, giggling inside it. She heard the boy groan a bit behind her in what she surmised was even more embarrassment. She managed to stop and look to him.

"I'm sorry about that. I'm wasn't laughing at you if that's what you thought. It's just…well…I don't know. I like how generous you are. As well as a bit…goofy."

"Yeah, I've been called both of those things." He said with a sighing tone. "I mean I don't try to be generous. I'm just…that's just how I am. I honestly don't see the point in being mean to someone for no reason. Though…I am kinda a mean person in my own way. And being goofy? Yeah…I do my best. Anyway, uh…come on."

He headed for the food courts with Mew right behind him. She purposely chose to walk from behind as to keep her eye on him. Of course she was sure that's what she would do for the entire duration of their meeting…when he wasn't looking at her at least. But she was amazed with him as a whole. Not just physically, even though she still found it strange he has a much different appearance than before. He also seemed a bit older than he should be, too. But she liked his personality above all. Even though she just met him after so long she could tell from his mannerisms and even from the feel of his emotions and Aura that he genuinely felt positive. Both with himself, with her and that he really wanted to solve her little problem.

'I might actually grow more attached than I thought I would. He's seems nice enough. I guess he grew up in a very fine way in this world. And I wonder what his life is like. But…I wonder what would happen when he has to meet our daddy.' She put those thoughts aside when she nearly bumped into him. He looked to her.

"Alright. Go find us a table and I'll…well, you know. Anything you want?" He asked. Mew gave an "Um" as she looked around the many food establishments. Her eyes stopped when she fell on one in particular. She pointed to Master Wok.

"There! That one! They have something called orange chicken and it was the most delicious thing I ever tasted!" She exclaimed happily.

The guy laughed a little at her enthusiasm. "You never had it before? Well it IS really good. Alright, I'll get you a box of that. You want something to drink?"

Mew just smiled and said, "Yes, thank you."

"Alright then." He held his bag out to her. "Can you take this with you? I'm gonna need both hands." She nodded and took the plastic bag in her hands before going to find a table. Preferably one that was close to where they were.

'Man, she smiles a helluva lot. And…so damn happy. But for some reason it's not like the way my sister is always happy, that I hate it. No, enthusiastic…I guess is the word to describe her.' He thought as he walked over to the fast-food joint.

Mew sat down in her seat while placing the plastic bag on the table. She watched as he was speaking to an Asian woman and placed their orders. Her attention was diverted to the bag that was on the table and her curious nature was starting to get the best of her. 'I…I can't just go through his things. Even if he just bought something. But…I wonder…what could it be? It sure has some weight to it though.' She was wondering for a bit longer than she thought as she was mildly shocked from her thoughts when a Styrofoam cup with a straw and a small box of the same material was placed in front of her. A very delicious aroma was coming from the box and there was a plastic fork on top of it. Her occupant placed his own drink and box on the table before sitting.

"There. A box of orange chicken. Make sure to savor it though." He said.

Mew nodded once. "I will! Or…I'll try at least." She opened the lid finding a multitude of the pieces of orange glazed meat she sampled before. She took her fork and stabbed it into one before eating it. She smiled at the sweet taste before swallowing. "It's so amazing! I think I found a new favorite food!" She ate some more.

"Well I'm glad you like it." He said before opening up his own lid, though he didn't eat. "So…I was wondering, who are you? I mean…what's your name at least?"

Mew stopped eating and looked up. "My name? Oh…yeah. I haven't told you my name. But…you haven't told me yours either." Even though she knew that this was her youngest brother she wasn't sure if he had the same name that her and the other Legends know him by. After all he did look very different so his name could've changed by those who raised him. Better to be entirely sure first hand.

"I'm Stephan." He said while taking a sip of his drink. After that he went back to his food.

Mew congratulated herself at her guess. 'So he DOES have a different name. Stephan, huh?' She smiled a bit. "You have an unusual name. Oh, my name's…Mira."

Stephan blinked a few times as his eyebrows furrowed. A small spark flashed through his mind and he couldn't help but feel that he had heard that before. But after a few more quick moments he just shrugged it off as some weird déjà vu. "And you say my name is weird?" He sighed, "But you wouldn't be the first to say that. It's also spelled in a way that people can't understand unless I tell it to them. Keep mispronouncing it all the damn time. Well…most people do. There are some lucky ones. I was named after my grandmother, Stephanie. My name just takes the 'I' and the 'e' off at the end."

"You were named after your grandma? That's cute." Mew, or Mira, said in a slight giggle. Stephan grunted in an uncomfortable manner and took a sip of his drink. Mira decided to try hers out and took a sip from the straw. She instantly loved the unique fruity taste. She stopped drinking and asked, "Wow! This is very good, too! What is it?"

"Yeah, I didn't know what you were into drinking so I got you some Raspberry Sweet Tea." He replied.

"And what did you get?"

He shrugged. "I got it too. I wasn't in the mood for pop. Or…soda, I mean." He ate some more of his chicken before drinking more of his tea in succession. During this he noticed his plastic bag was near Mira and brought it a bit closer to himself. Catching her attention Mira figured that this was the perfect time to sate her curiosity.

"Hey, Stephan? I've kinda been wondering…what is it that you have in the bag?" He looked at the bag and smacked his lips. His expression seeming as if he was contemplating on if he should tell her. This was confirmed when he closed his slightly open mouth and gave a 'hmm'. The tone sounding as if he was questioning himself. She leaned forward a little and smiled a bit. "C'mon. You can show me. If you think it's embarrassing than I won't laugh."

He looked down at his food. "Well…it's a special kind of book," he said after a few kind of seconds, "about…something you might probably think is kinda childish or something."

Mira shook her head. "No, I won't! I promise! Can I please see it!?"

Stephan laughed a little at seeing her enthusiasm again. 'She's kinda weird…but I think she's alright. Hell…I'm talkin' about her thinking my book is childish but she acts just like that.' He put his fork down and dug into his bag. "Well, alright. Since you asked so nicely. Here."

As he said what he pulled out of the bag was most definitely a book. It was about average size but there were so many pages, which is what gave it its weight. It looked more like an encyclopedia if Mira didn't know any better. When he laid the thick book down in front of her Mira had to stop herself from choking on a piece of chicken. Of all the things in this world that he could've shown her she never would've thought it would be what she was looking at right now. She eyes were very wide in absolute shock and she managed to audibly gasp when she swallowed her food. Her lips tried getting over the shock as well as she tried to read what was on the cover. The letters that were used wasn't anything like the language back in the Pokémon World. They were actually near-identical to the ancient Unown letters! Thankfully she was fluent in the ancient language and could read the similar letters.

"P…P…P-Pokédex!?" The word was in all caps and colored a dim silver. The material of it was slightly reflective and it was outlined in black. She looked under the left side of the title. "P-Pokémon: Black Version?" She looked to the right side next to it. "Pokémon…White Version? This book…is about POKEMON!?" She nearly screeched.

If the words weren't enough, the cover was littered with the final evolutions of Pokémon Starters. From Kanto all the way to Unova. Kalos and Alola were the only ones that weren't present for some reason. She picked the book up and flipped it around to the back. Now it was many groups of the Legendaries. The Legendary Birds: Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno. The Legendary Beasts: Raikou, Entei and Suicune. The Lake Guardians: Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf. The Swords of Justice: Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion. And finally The Legendary Golem's: Regice, Registeel and Regirock.

"W-what!? How did…I mean…huh!?" She exclaimed before looking up to Stephan. He was busy giving her a weird look. A mix of confused and concern if she had to guess. He blinked rapidly a few times and his eyes darter to the sides before looking back to her.

"Da-yum! Is it that unbelievable!? Geez, I'm…sorry?" He said uncertainty. He didn't even really know what he was apologizing for but with the way she reacted…it was as if he was letting her see a book relating to everything satanic. Mira realized that she was beginning to make a scene. Especially as some people were looking at them before looking away. She felt embarrassed at getting over excited like that…but she couldn't help it! In her hands was an encyclopedia about her kind! She was too busy wondering how this was even possible! Especially considering that Pokémon don't even exist in this world. So how in the world could there be any information about them!? So much so that a book version of a Pokédex could be made!? She turned the book around and placed it in front of her, trying to calm her heart rate.

"I…I'm SO sorry. That was…that was a very rude way for me to react. It just…I was just caught off guard." She said, not even able to make eye contact. Her gaze still adjusted onto the cover.

"I knew you'd think it was childish." His tone was dejected. Mira finally looked to him and saw his eyes looking away. He seriously was feeling shot down and she felt bad that she was the cause of it.

"No! It's not childish. It's just…well..." she smiled, "I LOVE Pokémon so very much! I never expected you to do that same is all."

Her explanation had caught his attention almost immediately. He looked to her and had a smile on his face which made hers even bigger. "I don't know how I can't. I mean I love Pokémon with everything. I mean that book is so that I can study up on them whenever I can and how I can build up better teams. Like knowing what good strategies to use, which moves to teach them, when and how they evolve, things like that."

"And...What do you mean when you say build up better teams?" She asked not fully understanding. It sounded as if he was in possession of Pokémon…but that should've been impossible. Yet she still doesn't know how something like an encyclopedia was made.

"I mean in my video games. Mainly my Pokémon Y. This thing can help me see what can be best suited for which Pokémon and how," he shrugged, "sure, it's outdated because Unova with Black and White is done with and we have Kalos with Pokemon X and Y, but having info on over 644 Pokemon, isn't that bad." He said as he began to delve more into the different applications and aspects he could use with the help of this guide and what some of his favorite species are. Mira could practically feel the enthusiasm radiate from him with each and every word. It seemed that when it came to Pokémon he was really immersed. She smiled gently at the thought.

'It's so amazing. Here he is…many worlds away from ours…and yet he found his true home in his heart. He knows about it…and though he isn't a part of it he loves and cherishes it. I wonder what else about Pokémon I can get him to talk about. This worlds has video games about them…and books and…who knows what else. Though we're still very well known it seems. Who would've thought?'

She looked down to Stephan's food and was surprised to see that it was all gone. She could hear him slurp down the last of his tea and looked to him in surprise. He noticed and said, "Oh…uh…yeah. I eat kinda fast."

"Wait a minute!" She said before she began to eat the rest of her orange chicken and finish her own tea. Stephan blinked in slight amazement as she scarfed it all down without a care and even gave a little belch at the end. He covered her mouth slightly. "Excuse me."

"Uh…yeah. No problem." 'Damn. When the hell could a girl eat like that?' He stood up and picked up his cup and box. He threw them away with Mira doing the same. He then grabbed his Pokedex Book and placed it back into the GameStop back.

"So…where are you going now?" She asked.

He shrugged. "Well…go home I guess. I've been in Downtown long enough and I'm kinda tired of Tower City." He said looking around the place.

"And…where do you live?" Mira asked. Only because she didn't want to take her sights off of him. She didn't even do the other thing she was supposed to do. She felt he gem pulse.

"In East Cleveland. Very far from here."

Mira made the most believable gasp she could make. "What a coincidence!? That's where my home is too! So we can head back together!"

He gave a little laugh and smiled. "Jesus. You even live where I live? That's cool! I mean I was so tempted to just stay home…but I never would've guessed I'd make a new friend."

"Yeah. Same here." She said, with a smile as always. Stephan led the way through the mall as they walked down the steps to the basement level. That was where the rapid station was and he figured it was much easier and faster to use that form of transportation. "Had a bad experience this morning with the bus", he said as his reasoning. Seeing as Mira didn't have a Transit Ticket he gave her an extra one so that she could legally get on the train-like transportation. They moved out onto the platform and sat on green metal benches. There were a few other people out there but none near them. Anyone else waiting for the rapid decided to do so inside of the building where the windows gave them a perfect view, and jointed wooden benches to sit at.

"So…um…do you think that we can do something else though?" Mira said, breaking the silence.

"Something else?" He rose an eyebrow. "Like what? I already said I don't want to stay here."

Mira shook her head. "No, I mean when we get back. See…the thing is I honestly just moved from somewhere else…so I'm kind of a stranger around…East Cleveland. I want to know if there are any more fun things we can do."

Stephan adopted a thinking pose, placing his fist under his chin. His eyes lit up in a spark before he turned to her. "Well there's a couple of places but I can think of one that's even better. I live near some woods that we can explore. It's a very awesome place to go to be alone and enjoy nature."

Mira nodded and said, "Alright! That sounds like fun! I didn't know you liked nature."

He leaned back gave smirked, though his attention was directed at nothing. "Are you kidding? I love it. I'd live in nature if I could. But…I've been introduced into modern society so much that I don't think I'd probably last. Plus I don't have the survival skills or instincts."

Mira gave a knowing smirk. "Oh, I don't know. I think you might surprise yourself."

"Yeah, right. I'm not even going to attempt it. But anyway can I ask you something for a change?" He directed his gaze back to her and Mira could only tilt her head slightly in wonder.

"What is it?" She asked innocently.

"That thing…your necklace. I mean...that IS a necklace, right? I just keep seeing something glowing a dim blue under your shirt and…"

Mira gasped as she completely forgot about that. She looked down to see that what he said was right. The gem was reacting to her brother's presence and she didn't even know about it. She reached around her neck and pulled at the gold chain that it was attached too before bringing the blue pearl out in the open. It wasn't just glowing a dim blue, it actually seemed to be a small spiraling mass of white at the center. Stephan's eyes opened while he gasped. He leaned in a bit closer to stare at the pearl with wonder.

"Holy ssssshit! Where the hell did you get something like that!?" He asked in a mix of excitement and surprise, not taking his eyes away. Mira didn't know how to respond without giving anything away about its true nature and intentions or making an unbelievable lie. She was pretty sure there were no jewelry stores on this planet that sold something even half as priceless or resembling.

"It's actually…an heirloom, I guess. My daddy gave it to me." She placed a finger on it.

"Man. I wish I had something half as epic looking as that! It looks like some sorta ancient artifact to me! Like how that white swirling part could be spinning energy or something!" He finally backed up from her personal space but his eyes were still on the gem. "Can I touch it? Please?"

"Sure. Go right ahead." She said. Stephan held out his right hand and slowly drew it to the gem. The instant his index and middle fingers touched it a spark of dizziness flowed through his head, making him groan and look away. Though from Mira's perspective she was able to see how the gem glowed even brighter for an instant at the contact. Not only that but a few near unnoticeable wisps of teal energy flowed from the pearl through his fingers and up into his arm before vanishing. He took his right hand from the gem to hold his head again, like before. Mira held the jewel in her fingers and was surprised to see a small change in it. The swirling white energy had changed color and was now a gray mass.

'Incredible. It reacted even more when he made physical contact.' She thought in wonder. Before he could see the change she placed it back under her shirt just as Stephan came out from his slight headache.

"D-damn," rubs head, "second headache under an hour. What the hell is up with that?"

"Are you okay, Stephan? You know…we don't have to do anything if you're not feeling good." Mira suggested but he waved it off.

"Naw, I'm alright. Really. Though…I'm really gonna have to go to take a nap when I get home. But still…that is such a cool necklace. You're lucky."

"Oh, I wouldn't say so. In the end it's still just a necklace." She dismissed casually. Just as she was going to spark up another conversation there was rumbling along the tracks. Stephan stood up from his seat while Mira did the same. The beating over the tracks grew louder as the headlights were seen shining brightly at the front of urban train, before it sped right through. The winds it generated making the ends of his jacket and some of Mira's hair waver before it slowly came to a stop. Looking through the many windows we saw a multitude of people in the different cars of all ages, with some already on their feet ready to leave. All of the doors opened simultaneously allowing the people to get off from it. They walked in and took a seat, with Mira sitting near the window. The other people from the waiting room got on before the doors closed. When everyone was seated the intercom came on with a *ping* before the driver said which destination was after this one.

The rapid slowly began to move before it drove off through the tunnel and out into the open. Nothing but greenery on both the left and right sides of the tracks. Mira gazed at everything speeding by. Not as fast as she was capable of going but the different scenery was very nice. It's not like she gets to travel like this back in the Pokémon World anyway. She heard the light crackling sound of a paper bag and something being removed from it. She turned her head back around to see Stephan pull out his Pokédex Book. He opened it up to a random page at the beginning of the encyclopedia. Her full attention was on the book now as she leaned over to see it too. He noticed her in the corner of his eyes but only gave a small smirk showing a bit of teeth, before reading again. The left pages showed a Charmander and an arrow pointing to a Charmeleon below it. An arrow pointed to the right page showing its final evolution, Charizard. There were also boxes of information regarding the three on both pages

"What's all this?" Mira asked.

"It's about all the information of the Charmander line. Like what moves they all can learn, what their Egg Moves are, where to find them, their 'Dex entries and the best way to use them in battles. Even shows what would be the best moves for them to have and what levels they evolve at."

"Incredible." She lowly gaped in amazement. "Can…I see it, too?" She asked.

"Well…alright." He kept his thumb on the pages while handing it to her. She took it in both hands and looked intently. Her eyes darting over the information. The more she read the more impressed she became. This book really WAS a Pokédex! Height, weight, classifications, type, Special Abilities, everything was here! She wondered what it meant when it spoke of them evolving at a certain levels and the like. 'What was it he said again? That Pokémon were a video game? Maybe that explains the whole 'level' thing.' She looked down to the area below the Charmeloen picture. There was a box with 'Tips and Tactics' in a smaller red box next to it.

"Charizard has high Sp. Attack, so you should have it learn mostly special moves. The Fire-type move Heat Wave's power is 100 and it damages multiple Pokémon at once. This is a good move for Double and Triple Battles. Have Charmeleon evolve to Charizard, and it will become a Flying-type as well, so have it learn some Flying-type moves. Use a Heart Scale to help it remember Air Slash. This move has a 30% chance of making the target flinch."

When she was done reading the information she saw Stephan dig into his pocket. He pulled out a red rectangular device with two black circles on the front. He flipped the top of the device open showing the inside. There was a screen at the top and one at the bottom. On the left there was a circle pad and a four-pronged pad below it. On the right were four buttons with A, B, X, Y, in that order and a power button below it.

"What are you doing?"

"Well Charizard is mainly good for Special Moves, right? Maybe I should do a complete change mines. Give him better moves." He pressed the power button making a blue light appear under it. A green light appeared at the far right of the top-screen. The main screen's lit up while the bottom showed a mass of icons. The square like icon appeared at the top screen. The background was a sky showing the silhouette of Yveltal from what she could see, with *Pokemon Y* plastered in front of the image.

"Would it be okay if I look through this some more? I mean it's really impressive and all." She asked him while he just nodded.

"Go ahead. I won't be using it until I get home anyway."

She gave a small smile before turning her attention back into the book. She flipped to the next page to show the Water-type Starter of Kanto, Squirtle, and its evolutions. It was basically the same as the Charizard information. Moves layout, type, everything. 'For a world where Pokémon don't exist the humans of this world sure understand a lot about us. None of this information is off in the slightest. I wonder how though. I'm gonna have to talk with daddy when I get back home about that.' She cupped her chin with a finger and thumb. 'I wonder…' She began to flip through more pages one by one. The more she turned the more she realized that this entire section was all about the Pokémon in the Kanto Region. A much easier way to find specific Pokémon.

Flipping past the page with Dratini and its evolutions she found what she was looking for. Information about her! Even Mewtwo was on the same page, right above her picture!

'Serious as ever. Even in a drawing.' She thought. She began to look over the information about herself and her brother by DNA. At many instances she gave nods at what was true about their abilities and for other things she didn't. Like Mewtwo having the most savage heart out of every Pokémon. That sure as heck wasn't true. Well…he did have a savage heart at first but it was because evil humans were trying to control him. He was intending to destroy Humanity along with Pokémon who sided with humans but in actuality he was like a child that was scared, confused and angry at the way he was brought into the world. Mira sighed to herself. It's not as if she tried to defuse the situation during that accident. Not entirely at least. In the end all she did was give Mewtwo the fight that was wanted out of her and had a hand in almost petrifying Ash forever. It was thanks to all of the Pokémon, both original and cloned, that he was revived. Now Mewtwo was anything but a savage being. Maybe a bit hard and not big on fun but he was good through and through.

She glanced to her left seeing Stephan playing that supposed Pokémon game. He was looking at a Shiny Charizard animation on the screen before looking through a different menu of the sort. He mumbled to himself as he was checking a list of, what she could see by reading them, were Pokémon moves. He groaned in slight frustration before closing the handheld in between his hands and resting his elbows on his thighs. His eyes were closed as he seemed to be doing some deep thinking. Mira's curiosity got to her again, wondering what could be on his mind.

'Maybe if I just peaked.' She thought. She focused her power to only read the outer layer of his thoughts and made sure to not pick up anything else. He grunted slightly and scrunched his eyes the moment she did, making her think he somehow felt something was off. But when he relaxed a few seconds after she gave a relieved sigh. She began to listen.

Stephan's POV

'Hmm. Solar Beam would be good against Water-types but it takes 2 turns to charge. I could add in Sunny Day or something. That'd increase the Fire-type moves and would allow Solar Beam to fire off in 1 turn. Though in a way on Solar Beam's part it'd still take 2 turns. Wait! I'm nearly forgetting, I gave him a Y Mega Stone not too long ago! So if he Mega Evolves into his Y form then he'll have Drought as his ability so I won't even need Sunny Day! I can give him Solar Beam and use it after having him Mega Evolve! Nice! Okay, I already have him knowing Heat Wave by chance, so that's a plus and that'll hit every opponent at once. But what would be the third and fourth moves? The book did say Air Slash as a good Flying-type move to have. But it didn't say I had to do it, just how to do it. Naw, I don't think I wanna swap out with Focus Blast and I kinda like Earthquake. Alright then, I guess those are my four moves. So, I think that's a good set that'll work! I think I laid this out pretty well!'

I smiled and opened my 3DS back up with a little nod. Awesome! I think I got this down now! And by 'this' I mean better ways to set up my team. I go through the appropriate moves and teach them to my Charizard, having it forget Slash, Brick Break and Focus Blast. I didn't want to get rid of Focus Blast but I could just give him the TM again if I needed it. Looking at the summary of my Lv. 100 Shiny beast I gave another approving nod, while checking out the new set.

Focus Blast, Heat Wave, Solar Beam and Earthquake. Yeah, I could work with this if I played my cards right on when to use 'em.

I caught Mira looking at me in my peripheral vision. I couldn't help but look back and for some reason she was smiling at me again. If I could blush I think I might've been doing that a little bit. She's been doing that a lot…so why? It better not be from infatuation. I'm FAR from having being able to make an effect like that. But…the more I looked the more I realized it seemed more like a smile of friendship or something like that. She sure wasn't blushing…or had her face turning red or whatever.

"Are you okay?" I ask slowly.

"Oh, um…yes. I am." She turned her head and looked back into the book. Yet she was still smiling. Again…why?

"What's with….w-you smile a lot, you know?" I pointed it out to her. She just giggled and looked back to me. Man, I was so glad that no one else was watching us. That'd be pretty embarrassing.

"Sorry. I was just seeing how proud and happy you were looking yourself. That game must be very fun."

"Ha. You bet it is. But as fun as this is now I'm sure they're gonna come out with a better one at the end of the year. That seems to be a thing, you know?"

She gave a confused look. "They?"

I blinked. "Uh…Nintendo? Game Freak? You know? The game company that made Pokémon and all that. They make better games each and every year. Or better remakes of old ones sometimes. Black 2 and White 2 are the sequels to the Black and White games they released a while back. Same with Heart Gold and Soul Silver for the Gold and Silver games." Kinda a weird thing for me to point out. I hope this girl doesn't have short term memory loss. Anyone who plays Pokémon knows where it originated from. At least they should.

"Hey, Stephan? There something I wanted to ask you."

"Hmm? What?"

"Well…you love Pokémon a lot, right? Have you ever considered what it would be like if they were all…um…real, I guess?" Ooooh. She asked that question!? Now how could I stay quiet after hearing that one!? Before I knew it I closed my 3DS again and turned to her with a perked up look.

"Man, do I ever! I mean I don't think there is a Pokémon fan alive who doesn't think that. It's impossible for there to be. I've always dreamed of what it would be like for there to be real Pokémon. Like….I don't know. The Pokémon World is an awesome place, okay? Much better than living here in this one. I'd switch if I had the choice. Too much violence and boring stuff going on here. I know the Pokémon World isn't really a paradise either…but it's still better than what I've been putting up with for 17 years. Don't know how this world would be if they started popping up though. Heheheh, might not be a pretty sight. If Pokémon were real I think I'd be one of the best Trainers out there. I mean I have this book now to help me with picking out my moves and how to incorporate a Pokémon's Special Ability at its best. Since Pokémon can learn more than 4 moves compared to the game I can think of better diversity set-ups and training methods! Oh yeah! The training methods! Ooooh! Where would I start with those!? Cardio, endurance, attack and physical resistance, strength, speed and maybe some weight training. You know…if I can find the right kinds of weights. Maybe weights for arms, legs and the torso…or dumbbells could work. That's a way to get strength...but that's just Red Muscle development. Ah, but developing Pink Muscle is better than developing Red or Blue muscle, since it has the qualities of both. Power and speed! Then there's who my Pokémon would be. I sure as hell don't want to catch too many. I mean I could but I'd want to be able to properly manage them. Now my Starter…uh…you know what, I'll just give a common answer and say I'd want a Riolu to start with. I cannot BEGIN to describe all of the things that I think Aura is capable of! If I could use it myself I…"

I stopped my rant before I looked to her. She seemed really engaged in my words and even closed the book to listen. I couldn't tell if she was lost or if she really caught everything I said. Oh man….can you say geek moment? And I know it's bad because I don't even say the word 'geek'. I scratch my cheek while glancing away.

"Aw shit. Wow. Sorry. I really was going off there, huh? I, uh…..fuck. I don't know what to say."

She just began to giggle again. I had to admit that made me feel a bit more embarrassed but not so much. Hell, her giggles kinda calmed me down a little bit.

"No, it's alright. Actually I think it's amazing. Very amazing. You'd really love to meet some real Pokémon, wouldn't you?"

I nodded to her. "Hell yeah, I would. Don't care what it takes. I'd give nearly anything for that. I mean if I just saw a real Oddish I'd probably lose my fuckin' mind. A fucking….Oddish. That should tell you how serious I am about this."

"Can you be honest with me about one thing? Do you think that they do exist out there, somewhere? I mean…it's just a franchise and all."

What? Where did a question like that one come from? Sure as hell wasn't expecting to be asked something like that. But it sounds pretty close to asking if I believe in alternate universes. I better make sure to not lose my mind on answering this one too. "Well…to be honest, I do. Seriously. I mean I don't just think they exist. I truly believe they do. They exist in the Pokémon Universe obviously. We're just viewing it on our televisions and games. Doesn't mean they're not real. Like there's actually three Pokémon worlds. The one where Ash is from, the Dex Holders universe and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Each one way different but kinda similar in ways. See I believe in the Multiverse theory. Or I guess…the Omniverse theory. That every universe in totality exists. Games, Movies, books, parallel worlds and alternate worlds of every world. Each world that hasn't had any drastic changes or no changes at all would be called Canon or the Core Worlds. I call them the Cores or Primes to keep it simple. But yeah…I seriously think Pokémon exist. And even if I have to die to do it I'm sure as hell gonna meet some real ones and be partners with some of them and I'm gonna train them to be the very best of their species."

Woooow. Could that SOUND anymore condescending? Mira lightly gasped and backed away a bit, looking a bit too surprised for my liking. I couldn't blame her though. I mean I kinda did Poke-nerd out…again AND she got me to talk about my true thoughts on the existence of the Omniverse. If I could I'd be blushing from embarrassment right now. Why the hell did I have to go and pour my heart out just then? I just turned my body back around and leaned against the cushiony back-support.

"Wow, uh….sorry 'bout all that. That…that had to have sounded so lame."

She didn't say anything for a minute or so, which kinda creeped me out a little bit. Finding a bit of courage to look at her I was kinda surprised myself. She had an even brighter smile on her face than before. Heck, her mouth was open in a silent gasp of amazement with an expression on her face I couldn't actually make out. Something like…pride? I guess….or maybe not….maybe.

"Are you kidding!? That all sounds amazing! You've really thought all of that out by yourself!? How would you make your Pokémon the best!? And you even know about the Omniverse too!?"

Whoa….wasn't expecting that. But it was a much better response than I thought I was going to get. "Well…yeah. I mean I watch and play Pokémon a lot, sure. But I also watch and play a bunch of other things too. I just thought that I'd be able to mix some of those things into Pokémon…I mean if I could at least. Haha! I know I want it to be my Starter but don't ever let me get my hands on a Riolu. No one would be able to see that thing once I got done with it. Plus about the Omniverse…I've always believed in it. Though it's not something that's been proven, not like anyone can. Some people believe it and then there's like…that 95% who doesn't. Not really something that comes up in conversation, you know? But it's fun to think about at least."

"Well….what if both were real anyway?" She asked me.

I sighed and smiled. "Oh man. I have no idea. I'd imagine I'd lose my damn mind. Might take a while for me to come back down from all that."

She just laughed before I started to laugh along with her. The rest of the ride was pretty enjoyable as we kept on talking about those subjects nonstop. Mainly the ones regarding Pokémon and the book I bought. Some questions seemed a bit strange when she went off course a few times and asked some things about the games and the anime. Guess she must've missed some of the good stuff, huh? Especially about Ash going through the Sinnoh and Unova regions. Now he's doing Kalos. How the heck is she still on Hoenn or the Battle Frontier in Kanto? Anyway after our near endless rounds of talking we finally pulled up to the Superior Station. I stood up and walked for the door with Mira following behind, as well as some other nameless people.

Walking out onto the platform I took a few moments too look back out to the bustling neighborhood, like I did before. Mira next to me and looked at the small splice of the neighborhood with me.

"This all seems pretty nice." She said. I scoffed a bit.

"It's seriously not. Trust me, this place isn't all that much to look at. I can't wait for the day I leave it."

She gave me a curious look. "You…dislike where you live?"

"Incredibly. I hate the weather, I hate the places, I hate how niggas don't fix those goddamn potholes in the streets that'll blow someone's tire off, and I hate the people most of all. Besides my friends and family of course." How could I not feel that way? It's nothing like living in a suburban area, that's for sure. Yet for some reason Mira was the one looking sad. Can't blame her. That kinda was a messed up thing to hear but I'm not going to sugar coat anything. East Cleveland is most certainly not a place one wants to stay their entire life.

"Oh. Well…I'm sorry that you feel that way about your home." She said in a sympathetic tone. I sighed a bit and gave a few more glances out at anything I was capable of seeing. I headed towards the door with Mira following behind. We walked down the steps to the first floor before the automatic doors opened. Allowing us to trek through the area we were previously checking out.

"Trust me. You're going to probably feel the same way I do and miss wherever you came from. A lot of places are nicer than this one. Even in the day you need to watch your back sometimes. People around here can be real sketchy." I didn't look to her this time, not wanting to see the kind of expression she was making for me. Seriously…this girl has very powerful ones. I'm sure if I saw he slightest bit of unhappiness for what I said about this place I'd probably have to say some good things about it that I enjoyed to make her feel a bit better. But there honestly wasn't anything good here. But there's a helluva lot of good things in Cleveland. East Cleveland? No dice. Maybe when my grandmother was young…and she's in her early sixties.

"Anyway…my house is literally not that farm from us." She sped up her walking a little until she was walking next to me. I caught sight of my laces having come slightly untied, with how the strings entered my vision. Crap, I'm gonna have to fix that. We made it to the side walk with the bus station right next to it. "Right cross the street is where I live."

"Well then I can't wait to see your home." She said, while looking both ways.

"You can go ahead. I need to fix my laces first." I get down to one knee and untie the strings from the messed up knot. Mira just nodded to me.

"Okay. I'll cross and then I'll wait."

"Yeah." When she started crossing, I then commenced with some rapid shoe-tying. One thing I love and hate about these shoes. Double-tying the knots and it would take a bunch of work to come undone. Not to mention I just love the overall feel of them. Yet the shoes get so tight that I have to untie them all the time to take 'em off instead of leaving them tied and then slipping off the damn things. I got one done and began the other. Just as I was done with the strings a long blaring *HONK* sounded not that far from me. I turned my head, curious to see the car who made that noise. Yet, instead it transformed into panic from seeing the speed that it was traveling down the road…and Mira was still crossing the bitch!

She turned her head to the car too and I SWEAR she slowed…down! She fucking slowed down to look at the car that was going to run over her! 'What the fuck!? That damn car! And she-'my thoughts stopped right there before I took off. I didn't even notice that my feet were moving to be honest, but all I could focus on were how my toes were slamming into the concrete as I pushed off with all the power my legs were able to give. This was one big ass street and realistically that car was supposed to more than likely run us both over since I couldn't out speed a vehicle. But all logic was tossed out the window at the moment. Before I knew what would happen next I jumped towards her in a tackle and rolled her out of the way as the car zoomed past a second right behind us!

We kept rolling from the force that I tackled her and we rolled onto the sidewalk. I was breathing heavy as hell, while Mira was lying her head on my chest. The rest of her lying on the ground.

"Huff….huff….haaaa….what…what the…fuck!? Why did-huff…huff…." Fuck. I could barely say anything. I must've expended more energy than I thought but between that, the adrenaline surging through my body AND the near-death experience I'm pretty sure that it was all totally allowed. I mean I did just haul ass like a 7 year-old after an ice cream truck.

I nearly glared at her with wide eyes. "WHY….did you nearly stop there!?" What else could I say!? I was just as upset as I was tired!

3rd POV

Mira pressed her hands to the ground and pushed herself up. She slightly shook her head of the slight aching it was in from crashing into her companion's chest. She didn't really expect for him to jump out and tackle her like that. She could sense from the person driving, incredibly recklessly if she might add, was going to swerve out of the way in the last few seconds. Even if he didn't she would've been able to either avoid it herself or stop it with a simple Psychic. Of course she would've exposed herself to her brother but it's not as if this little journey wasn't for that purpose. It just would've made her job easier. Though she wanted to see first-hand just how his experience living in this world was like, without anything out of the ordinary happening.

She heard him yell something to her but was too much in thought to notice the words. Though when she looked to his face she had to take a few extra blinks to see if she wasn't seeing things. His eyes. His eyes had changed colors. What were once a deep brown that could be mistaken for black, were now a brilliant hazel, which allowed her to see his black pupils. The Aura filled gem under her shirt was glowing a bit again, but she wasn't focused on that.

'I wonder why this happened.' She thought.

"Hello!? What the hell!?" He said, drawing out the last word in an irritated fashion. She completely caught the words this time and jerked to her knees in embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry! Really! I wanted to move but…but I was scared and…" She exclaimed in the most believable way she could. She wasn't one to toot her own horn but she was a great actor when she needed to be…or wanted too. Got away with a bunch of things from some of the other Legends because of it. Though a façade about her being frightened she did feel really sorry about making him so worried. Heck, if she allowed the car to swerve then that would've guaranteed that he would've been hit. A Pokémon would've survived the collision. Most would've taken it head-on without much of a scratch. Especially considering Hyper Beams hit much harder but currently he was nothing more than a regular human.

Stephan brought his hands to his face and gave a big sigh in his palms. She watched as his chest visibly rise before falling. He dragged his hands down slowly before placing them on the ground and sitting up himself. When he turned to look at her she noticed that his eyes had turned back to their dark brown. The gem stopped glowing as well.

"Alright, alright…I get it. Happens to a lot of people, right?" He said in an understanding tone. Though he still sounded pretty shaken from what just happened.

"Except you. I don't think anyone would've ran out into danger like that without a second thought."

He shook his head a bit and stood up. He wiped the dirt and grime from his clothes. "I wasn't. I just moved and I knew that if I stopped moving then you'd have died. Jesus….was hoping I didn't have to do something like that again." He offered his hand to Mira, which she took to help him stand up. He picked up his bag from the ground and leaned against the small building they were next too, while she thought about what he said.

"What? You just said 'again'. Has something like this happened before?" She asked.

"It was years ago. My first little sister, Crystal, was still a toddler and she was having a temper tantrum after mom said she couldn't have something or whatever. I don't really remember much. But I do remember her running out of the store that we were in, right into the street. I ran out after her and pulled back before a car hit us both. Man, we were all so fucking pissed at her." He said as he pushed himself from the building. "But it was different with you. Not like you were trying to get ran-over. So it's all okay. Come on…let me drop some of my stuff off at my house then we can head into the woods."

Mira nodded and walked back next to him. He took a slight lead in front of her as they walked up the hill onto a very nice street of houses. There were also two big white stone pillars on both sides of the road. It wasn't a long walk though as his house was the second one on the sidewalk they were on. A white and yellow house, with purple marble steps and a bench swing on the purple porch. There were two white fences with shrubs behind them that stretched from one end all the way to the other. Near the steps was an old-fashioned light post. It had a cylindrical body with a prism-shaped head. There was a light-bulb inside of it. Stephan and Mira turned to the left, heading up the walkway. They walked up the steps and Stephan walked over to the door.

"You should just wait out here. I need to just put some of my things away and leave this here." He said, gesturing to his plastic bag, which held his Pokémon book.

"Okay. I can do that." She said with a nod. She moved over to the bench-swing and took an immediately liking to it. Lightly she pushed from the porch and made it swing back and forth. Stephan smiled a tiny bit at her little enjoyment before he opened the white screen door and turned the knob to his front door, opening it. The screen door closed with a clacking-thud.

'We really got get that lock for the front door fixed.' He thought on the way up to his room. He took the book from the bag and placed it onto his table, while throwing the bag in his trashcan. He also removed his 3DS and placed that on the table too. He headed back downstairs once he was done and exited the front door. Mira was still having fun on the bench swing. "Sorry 'bout that. Maybe I can show you inside sometime."

"Haha. It's alright and I'd love to. Now we're going to the woods?" She said getting up. They walked down the stairs when he replied, "Yeah. I think you'd really like it. Me and two of my old friends, Deandre and Nagee, used to go there all the time together. Though we don't now since Deandre moved far away and Nagee…well he's still here and we're still friends but we don't talk much now. Without Deandre here it's just not as fun. So ever sine then I haven't gone in."

"Nothing like having the group together, I guess." Mira said making Stephan nod.

"Oh, you know it. But it's a good thing I got more close friends like those two at least. But we all never hung out at the same time. At least not yet."

"What are their names?"

"Jonta'e and Mohammed. Love those guys to death. I'd swear that we were friends in a past life or something, and I don't say that about everyone." He looked her. "You ever had a friend you were that close too?"

"Haha. Plenty." Was her response. During the walk she began to think to herself.

Honestly the only companions who she was ever that close too were the other main Legendaries. Being born, or better yet, created and living as an immortal Legendary Pokémon left a lot to be desired for forging a friendship like that with anyone else. She could never afford to think that way since she's seen it all, since the beginning of the Pokémon World's creation…technically. She was really the fourth Legendary created with Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina being the first three since Arceus needed to have the concept of Time, Space, and Anti-Matter established before making any other Pokémon. Not to mention when humans discovered about her and her amazing powers in ancient times that inspired many of them, even up to this point, to try and capture her or control her. Well...the ones wanting to do that were bad people, like Team Rocket so it wasn't a common thing. Even going as far as to create Mewtwo but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise in the end. Many still didn't even believe that she existed.

She glanced back to her brother who had no clue about his true origin. Completely ignorant to the expecting disasters that would probably fall upon his head if Shadow Giratina continuous to roam free. For a minute all she could think of the life that Rey, or Stephan as he's called here, said that he was currently living in this world. Even though he said that he really dislikes it she knows it's still much better than the type of world Shadow Giratina, and inherently them as well, is going to do doubt thrust him into. Who knows how he's going to react to that kind of situation? Mira had to count the initial fact that the concept of Pokémon existed in this world as luck. Thanks to that Rey already knew the ropes to everything Pokémon related in every way and even has many ideas of his own to even make Pokémon stronger in ways even she couldn't have imagined, and she was known as the "Ancestor of Pokémon". She was going to have fun picking his brains on anymore 'enhancements' to Pokémon and Pokémon Battling that he had in mind.

"Okay. Here we are." Stephan said, catching Mira off guard.

"Huh? What now?" She asked in a clueless tone. Stephan blinked.

"Damn. Your mind must'a been somewhere else entirely. That would explain why you were so quiet at least. I said we're here."

Mira saw that they were currently on a stone path and beyond the point where they were standing was a mass of trees, where the path kept traveling inside of that general area. To the left of them was a small hill with an even bigger out in the distance. Mira wondered what was up there but figured she'd find out at another point. She grabbed Stephan's hand and tried tugging them into the woods.

"Well then come on! Let's get going!" She exclaimed forcing them to move. He gave a smile again to her enthusiasm.

"Heh. Aren't I the one leading?" He asked jokingly as they started walking along the path, though he had taken his hand away from hers. Mira looked around their surroundings and immediately felt at ease from them. The natural scent that was wafting from the wood of the trees, grass and leaves around them automatically made her feel at home. She loved observing human civilizations from a distance. It had become a hobby of hers but in her personal opinion nothing could beat the beauty of nature. Looking to her right down their side was a long hill that edge along the entire path they walked on. At the bottom she could see a bunch of open field, a small park and what appeared to be a big shed with no windows and tables on the inside. She drew her attention back ahead of her.

"This place is amazing! I wonder what else we'll find here." She exclaimed happily.

"We haven't even gotten to the fun parts yet. Least you're not quiet anymore though. I can just tell that you don't seem like you when you're not keeping to yourself." Stephan said while placing his gloved hands into his hoodie pocket.

She smirked a tiny bit at his comment. "So you know exactly how my personality works? We've only met 2 hours ago."

He shrugged. "Yeah, maybe…at times. But did you know that some of the best friendships that are formed are the ones with the shortest encounters? That's how our friendship went. I mean I'm not gonna say I know exactly your personality but if there's something about you I learned it's that you like to speak your mind a bunch."

"Very observing. So how did you and this Jonta'e person become friends exactly?"

He scratched the front of his head. Not his forehead but the base of his hairline. "That's tricky to talk about. We've became friends in the 7th grade. We're in the 10th now, so that's 3 years. But for the love of god I just can't remember how the hell we even hit it off in the first place. Though I do know he saw me as a nerd or something so that's nice to know." He explained in a deadpanned tone with a small shake of his head.

Mira just giggled at the small story making him turn his head in embarrassment. "A nerd, huh? Well there are worse things to be called."

"Yeah, I know. But being a nerd isn't a bad thing. At least not the type that we both consider the other. We love anime, video games, comics and the like. Things that a majority of other people don't really know about or like and others. Okay, about the comic thing he's really the one who knows about comics and all that. I only know a small bit and that isn't much."

"What does he think about Pokémon then?"

"He doesn't like Pokémon the way I do. Actually he doesn't really like it at all, so I don't bring it up in conversation when we're with each other if I can help it. The only thing about Pokemon he likes are the way they look and their powers and abilities. At least some of their powers and some of their looks, I guess. But many people don't even like Pokémon so it's nothing new."

Mira gaped at the statement but quickly closed her mouth. Many people here didn't like Pokémon? The concept seemed alien to her. Then again she WAS in another world where Pokémon themselves didn't exist, yet they were some form of a popular franchise. Of course even in her world there were people who weren't really that excited about Pokémon as well but after spending a little quality time with one then those people's thoughts get turned around. "Why do you think other people don't like Pokémon? I mean…they're really amazing creatures."

He shrugged his shoulders. "I think it's because most people just don't like it for different and similar reasons. Some think it's just a childish little franchise and because of that should be for kids. Some generally just don't like it. And a lot really hate the show. I think they're really just tired of Ash in general."

"Why would they think that?"

He sighed through his nose and looked up and the treetops. He brought his head back down and kept staring at the path ahead of them as he continued talking.

"A lot of reasons for that I guess. The most obvious ones being his age, his Pokémon and his standing as a Trainer that people just don't generally like. The Pokémon anime has been out for a long time now. Over a decade actually and Ash has gone from Kanto and is currently in the Kalos region, right? Though through all of that, things that people don't like are how he's STILL somehow 10 years old, which I don't seriously believe and that a good amount of his Pokémon haven't evolved or evolved all the way. Every time he goes to a new region he never uses his old Pokémon except for when he was battling this guy named Tobias in Sinnoh and his Pikachu just seems to be losing strength or 'resetting' as people call it. Like he defeated a Legendary or two and other high level Pokémon, and even tanked Legedary attacks like Thundurus attack and just sucked that shit up. Yet he lost to a starting trainer's Snivy when he got to Unova. Even I have to admit that kinda pissed me off! Fuck, it seemed that Ash forgot some of his skills from Sinnoh when he went to Unova. As a Trainer, in my opinion, I think he does well and I like all the on-the-spot and unorthodox battling style of his. But people still call him incompetent and that since he hasn't won a single league, not counting the Orange League, that makes him a weak Trainer. People don't seem to know that he had the ability to win the Kanto AND Sinnoh League! But his Charizard was being an ass in Kanto and Tobias was fuckin' him up with Legendaries in Sinnoh. Fuckin' bastard. But he seems to be doing alright in Kalos so far. It's too early in the game to say since only 11 episodes were released but I think he'll do good there."

With a big sigh he caught his breath a bit from his rant. He rubbed his face with his left hand and groaned in it a little. He looked at Mira's surprised expression. Her mouth was gaping again and it seemed like she had a bit of trouble closing it.

"Anyway…sorry about all that. Got ahead of myself there. But to be honest with you…I like Ash. Both as a person AND as a Trainer. Granted when it comes to training Pokémon he could use some assistance. I know some great training methods that can help. At least good moves that would be great for his Pokémon to learn from at least. Like I think Pikachu learning Light Screen and Grass Knot would be great! That would up his Special Defense and he'd have a way to battle Ground-types if Iron Tail and Quick Attack isn't doing it. Hmm…maybe he should be learning another offensive move that isn't an Electric-type one. More than ever…it would be EPIC if Ash ever learned to control his Aura powers but I don't want him to change the way he is. Just his Pokémon training a little and his abilities. Other than those things he's perfect the way he is. I've grown attached to his character."

Mira was speechless once again. More so this time than all the other times today. When she wanted to pick his brain for more of his knowledge on Pokémon, at least from his perspective, she didn't anticipate to hear any of that. Apparently he knew more about Ash Ketchum then any of the Legendaries did. Even more than Arceus himself. Somehow in this world they've been able to see his progress through three extra regions and with that knows more about his experiences and Rey was basically breaking down the Chosen One to such an extent that it seemed as if he knew Ash even more than they or even Ash knew himself. He recognized all of his strong points and weak points, along with his Pokémon's, and came up with ways on how to make them better. Then any benefits that Ash has her sibling has found out on how to bring them out to their best to make Ash an even more capable Trainer. That included his hidden powers of Aura. The same ones he adopted from his ancestor, Sir Aaron. The rant about Ash still being 10 was a ridiculous notion. However Ash is being described as a trainer on this end it's not the same as on their end. As far as she knew Ash had turned 13 years old during his travels through Hoenn. No one could stay 10 years old for that long. How ridiculous were the people of this universe?

"I think that you would make a very amazing Trainer! Maybe you would be one of the best! I mean you've broken down so many things about Pokémon that can really cover up a good portion of their weak spots! You have a natural talent for them!" She exclaimed. Stephan smiled and chuckled with a big toothy grin on his face.

"I don't know. I wouldn't say that I'd be THAT amazing. I'll stick with one of the best, like I said before. But I do know that it's best to understand how specific Pokémon work in battle and when you can spot the areas they're weak in then you need to cover them. Pikachu was a perfect example. Very small, speedy and quick but Pikachu's can't take a lot of damage. So using moves like Light Screen helps cover that a lot. At least for Special Attacks. Physical ones? Not so much. Then since Grass is effective against Ground you don't have to worry about not being able to use Electric-type attacks all the way. That's how it would go if I had Pokémon myself. Each one would have about 3 support moves or something like that to cover up their weaknesses. If there are no good support moves then I'll have them learn moves to counter against the types that are the most harmful to them."

"See that? Right there? That sounds like an amazing Trainer to me. How can you say it's not? You'd be great!" She exclaimed with a bright smile. He still didn't look any different in his expression but his smile died down a bit.

"To be all the way honest...I'd say I'd be decent at best. I mean I've never even been in a battle for one. Not like a real one at least. Not to mention that I's sure it's a bit different in real life than it is in the games. In the games you have a bunch of time to plan out what you want to do for your next move. But in the real thing you can't afford to be waiting all the time like that. You need to be both quick and clever or else you and your Pokémon are going down." He rubbed his head frequently before rounding on her. "Look at this! You got me talking as if I can get into a real battle! Man, I hate talking like that. Makes me wish I could even more. But…if that were the case and I could train up my Pokémon the way that I want to then I might be a very amazing trainer after all. At least I'd like to be."

Mira shrugged her shoulders. "Who knows? The universe might grant your wish. I mean there are so many unpredictable variables in life."

"Ha! Yeah, right. I believe that and all…but that's as likely to happen as encountering a Mew. I would LOVE that to death though!" Mira giggled to herself. Encountering a Mew, huh? If only he knew how accurate he was. Now she couldn't wait to see his reaction for when Arceus summons him. Hopefully…he won't kill himself from the over excitement. She might have to do something about that in case it happens. "Anyway, we can talk about Pokémon some more some other time. Let's just enjoy this little adventure for now."

Mira nodded and said, "Alright. So what should we do while we're here?"

"Uh….anything? I don't know many specifics. I wouldn't say there are really sight-seeing spots…but it's a fun place to hang around in. Me and Jonta'e usually just walk around here and explore the entire area before going back home sometimes. So I can show you the same things."

She moved right in front of him and placed her hands behind her back, leaning in a little. He was forced to stop and lean back. "I have an idea? I propose a challenge."

"What kind of challenge?"

She rose a finger near her face. "How about we have a race? The first one to the end of this path wins. That should alleviate the problem."

He stood up straight and nodded once sporting a little grin. "Alright. We'll do that. But I won't lose. I kinda got that leg strength and stamina though."

She moved from in front of him over to his left side. She leaned forward a bit and had her legs bent. He got into a readying stance as well. "You exercise?" She asked.

"Yeah. I actually took gymnastics for 9 years, so this won't be easy for you. I should probably hold off so I don't leave you too behind."

Mira couldn't help but smirk herself. "Don't bother. I'm not slouch when it comes to physical exercise. So you'll want to give this everything you got."

"If you say so. Then I'm not holding anything back. But we should have a finish line or something. So…alright. There's two paths a few ways on from here. Take the dirt one leading down and whoever reaches the bottom first wins." He suggested, knowing it'd be better to go by his lead since he knew the area.

"Alright. Then that's going to be our finish line. Now…on my mark. 3…2…1…GO!" She shouted.

Both of them pushed off the ground and hard as they could and took off deeper into the foliage. They both were more than determined to beat the other in this little race than they initially realized and they had only just begun. Both of their eyes were narrowed as they wore smirks on their faces. Their arms and legs were moving faster and faster with each second as they made turns and twists along the path. A part of the path with one side sunken in and broken with parts of upturned rock was coming up. Stephan's mind raced as it was on his side and he needed to maneuver it somehow without losing speed. Mira was too close to the side of him to move over to her side, so he put in some quick thinking in the span of 2 seconds. Running up to the broken area he made sure to time his steps until he reached a certain point. When his right foot was at the base of the broken road he placed his left one on Mira's side for balance and stability before pushing off to keep his speed. He mentally sighed in relief but his attention was back to running and Mira didn't seem like she was slowing down at all. Their breaths were steady as they tried to conserve as much air as they could at a time before slowly taking in more and slowly exhaling. A fallen tree was blocking their path but they weren't deterred in the slightest. Instead using their superior agility they brought their legs up to their chests and leaped right over it, landing without slowing down. They ran over a stone bridge and rounded a bend to their left and came upon another small problem. A big, muddy hole in the middle of the path, with a broken chunk on Stephan's side again.

'What the FUCK!?' He shouted angrily in his head, from obtaining yet another obstacle in his way. 'Still can't run to her side! Jumping will slow me down, but…!' He didn't have time to rapidly think about his few options to stay in the game. Deciding to put in to chance he picked up more speed to gain ahead of his competitor, even by a little bit and made a mad leap, while Mira just ran a bit more to the left to avoid it altogether. When Stephan landed he tried to pick his speed back up but Mira was a few feet ahead of him. She slightly turned her head to him, somehow not tripping, and poked her tongue out to him.

'Hell no!' He thought as he leaned his body forward and began to trudge in his running. The tips of his feet were digging into the concrete and he pushed forward to gain his previous position next to her. Mira could see him gaining up on her from his slightly lower angle.

'Wow. I can't believe he's really keeping up with me. Anyone else would've been dead tired by now but he's been in high gear all this time, Guess he wasn't bluffing about all that exercise. This is more fun than I thought it'd be!' She thought happily before putting a bit more speed on too. They were coming up to the area where the road splits in two. To the left was the continuation of the concrete road and to the left was the dirt road Stephan described. It was covered in a multitude of rocks and pebbles and had two very broken gates to the side of it.

Stephan's eyes became sharp as they neared the path. 'Okay! This is where it gets real!' The moment both of their sole touched the dirt path Stephan seems to gain an extra spring in his steps. Mira was lightly surprised how he seemed to have just immediately gotten a few feet ahead of her. But what stood out was his change in body position. Before he was lower to the ground to gain momentum but now he was leaning forward, with his arms in a streamlined position behind him in a slightly wide arc; palms to the side with his fingers slightly splayed. Basically he adopted the running form of Sonic the Hedgehog from the game Sonic Colors but it wasn't like she knew that. Though she did know that with his new streamlined position of his body then he'd catch less air resistance and could focus more on moving just his feet. Plus since he was picking up so much speed his arms were practically hanging back by themselves, so they wouldn't be going down anytime soon.

'Well if that's how he wants to play then I should really be trying a lot harder than I thought I would. Even in my human form I'm surprised that he can stay ahead of me like this.' Of course even in her human form she could go much faster than she is now if she were to channel power through her body, but that wouldn't have been fair on her little brother. Not losing her sense of rhythm in her running Mira took a skipping leap. When her foot hit the ground she blasted forward too in a burst of speed that allowed her to match Stephan's, allowing them to be neck and neck. He was surprised on how she just shot up to him so suddenly but knew that if he broke his concentration to acknowledge it then he'd lose for sure. If there was one thing that he prided himself in it was sure as hell his speed and he'd be damned if he were to lose in a foot race. Especially one where the final stretch was downhill, in his own element.

Soon a new sight entered their vision. One much different from the dirt road, dim lighting from the mass of shade from the leaves and high amount of trees. They could see the sun glowing on a really grassy field at the end of the road.

"I'm gonna win!" Mira exclaimed.

"I'm gonna win!" Stephan also exclaimed back.

They both pushed everything into these last few steps. They both angled their visions slightly to the ground when the moment of truth came and they crossed into the open field of tall grass. They both leaned back and tried stopping their legs from moving until they both stopped. Stephan placed his hands on his knees and took some deep breathes and steady his breathing. Mira did the same even though he didn't really have too. Honestly she wasn't exhausted at all and still had a massive ton of energy to spare but she had to keep up appearances at least. In her opinion she'd have to run an uncountable amount of miles full speed before she'd feel winded.

"Haa…haa…huff….okay…so who…who won that?" Stephan said changing up his form of breathing. Now he was standing up right and took even deeper breaths and slowly exhaled. He repeated this pattern until he was taking less and less air.

"I have to say…huff…a tie. You're…huff…pretty fast." Mira said doing her best to breathe hard and was doing a good job at it.

"Thanks. I got…strong legs. Huff…but if it wasn't for…running downhill…you would'a won. Damn, you're fast as hell." He complimented.

Mira smiled. "Thanks. I take pride in that too." She stood up all the way and took one more breath before placing her hands on her hips and looked around the area. The environment was much different here. Besides the grass there were large yellow weeds off to the right of the small patch of field that lightly swayed in the wind. Broken trees and wild patches of dry grass were at the left side and a narrow dirt path was in the center. "So where do we go now?"

He stood up and walked forward. "Just follow me. We're gonna come up to one of my favorite spots here." With a shrug of her shoulders she followed after. The dirt path soon became a wide granite path as they made a bend around the right. Now she could see more tree again but they were far spread out to the sides and she heard the rushing of water.

"Where's that noise coming from?"

"Just keep heading straight." He simply replied. She jogged next to him. The path split again and he led them down the right side. As she looked to her left as well as ahead she saw a mass of water that was rushing down a very big and wide stream. From the top level there were rocks and platforms of smaller rocks. The water rushed down to a lower level through a grate but the grate was blocked off by what had to be broken branches, packed dirt and some trash. The clear liquid flowed into the huge sewer next to them, which had some graffiti written on the inside. Continuing this path when she looked ahead to the upper level there was a very big patch of rocks that people were more than capable of standing on. 20 feet ahead was another smaller patch that had a mini waterfall behind it and everything else just seemed to be a large pond. Between the gaps of the parallel sides from where the roads had split, showing both ridges of the dirt covered land were 'steps' to which the water kept pouring down.

"Where does the water come from?" Mira asked while the kept walking.

"There's another, bigger sewer at the very end. The water rushes out and flows down here. Though there's also another part where the water runs from. That's back where the road splits though. On the left side but there's no real path over there. You'd have to skip over the rocks and hike a bit to get to the other side."

Mira nodded in understanding. "And this path had an actual path. I see."

For the rest of their walk Stephan kept pointing things out to her within the woods that he'd hope she found interest in. Mira thankfully did and enjoyed the nice change of scenery the more and more they headed into this tiny spec of nature. They had small conversations here and there though it was nothing too important. Just small talk to pass the time. They were passing through a mass of dead or broken trees until they reached the end, like he said. Not necessarily the end since there was a path leading up to an area of town being what Stephan said Cleveland Heights. They looked to see the big white sewer system that water was rushing out from in more powerful waves then at the base. There were noticeable slabs of stone that led up to it and slabs jutting form the dirt near them, which led to another stone pathway. Though it was still possible to slip and trip if one wasn't careful.

"Well then…I guess that ends the tour. Not that I didn't enjoy today but I'm kinda beat. Heh. I'm tired and it's not even midday yet."

"Well you did kinda do a bit today. Meeting me, showing me around the place, saving me and coming here. I'd say that was a very fulfilling day." She said. Stephan started to walk back with her in tow.

"Yeah, you're right. I mean sometimes I might do more things with my friends but if it were up to me I'd like to call it quits if I don't need to keep going. I like to sleep things off, you know?"

Mira giggled. "You sound pretty lazy when not motivated."

"Hey. I can be motivated. I just need the right incentive is all." He said in a downed tone. Mira didn't say anything before she lightly bopped him on the head, making him jerk and look to her. She sprung away from their position and moved off the path, behind one of the dead trees.

"Alright then. There's your incentive! I'd say a quick game of tag might prove you aren't full of it."

He smiled showing his teeth again. He rubbed his head and took a step to her location. "You serious? Look, if I'm chasing someone I'm not gonna stop until I get ya'. I'm like a wolf right there."

"You make it sound like it'll be easy." Mira teased. "Don't forget the race."

He took another running stance, "I'll consider it a bonus round."

For the third time that day Stephan took off, heading towards Mira a second time. Though she waited until he got close enough until she maneuvered around the tree and ran to another one. Stephan leaned his body to the side and quickly stopped his feet before taking off in her direction again. Mira ran under a tree that was broke at the base while Stephan jumped over it. Soon Mira began to zig-zag to and fro, from tree to tree with Stephan trying to cut her off at one turn or another but failing to do so in the end. He jumped and ran on a tree when she made a mistake of running down a gap and lost speed when she came back out.

"I'ma catch ya!"

"No, you won't!"

At the last second she bobbed to the side, making Stephan gasp. He did so because he was so focused on her he didn't realize that they were running to a dead tree with very obvious weak looking bark. He brought up his arms and he tried to slow down but still ran into it. The impact was so hard he heard the bark crack. "Jesus Christ. Now 'dat was fucked up." He turned to Mira who was poking her tongue out to him. He continued his chase and she once again began to evade him. Though a minute later there was another crack and the tree that he had crashed into began to tilt. The weak, wet bark not being able to support its full weight. Just as it was beginning to fall Mira had run right under it.

She turned her head to see that it was falling in her direction. Stephan, who had slowed his pace at seeing the tree fall, screamed in shock and kicked out all of his remaining energy, into his legs. He was honestly dead tired. He wondered where the heck Mira had the energy to just keep outrunning him like that. She didn't even seem to be getting tired but that all fell into the back of his head at the moment. His adrenaline surged for hopefully the last time that day as a tiny bit of instant power surged through his body. More so than he thought he had. Before he knew what happened next he was standing right over Mira. Each leg at one of her sides with her back on the ground. They stared at the other while the dead tree was lying on his back, and his hands were near his head to help support it. His legs slightly shook as he did his best to not have them buckle. The tree itself wasn't a massive one, but it sure wasn't small either. Plus he was holding it near the middle instead of the full weight from the base.

While Mira stared at him she was drawn back to his eyes. They were hazel once more and the gem in her shirt was slightly glowing and pulsing. This time she noticed it but didn't glance down to acknowledge it. 'There it goes again. His eyes changed and the gem's responding to it! Why though? Do they change in extreme stress? Has some of his power been unlocked when he touched it or-'

"Y-you…okay?" He asked. Mira brought herself from her thoughts and just nodded.

"Yeah. I…thanks. Again."

"Cool. Cool. Now please help get this off me. My legs can't take it, my back can't take it and I feel like my arms are gonna fall asleep." He groaned with narrowed eyes. The weight of the tree was beginning to bare down on him and his legs bent and shaking violently but he held firm. Even gritting his teeth as a small glint of determination was seen in his eye. He refused to let that tree fall no matter what and she felt a bit of awe from that thought. Even so she crawled from between his legs, stood up to the side and placed her hands on the tree. Her eyes glowed a light blue as she pretended to give force and pushed the tree into the leaves and dirt.

Stephan fell to his hands and knees and gave deep breathes. Mira knelt down and placed a hand on his back, feeling his heart race rapidly.

"How are you feeling?" She asked him, worried. Though he was breathing hard he managed to look at her with a deadpanned looked. His hazel eyes slowly turning back into dark brown.

"I had a…tree fall…on me and…I caught it. How do you think I feel…huff…huff?"

If she were back in her world she would'a sweatdropped. "That's…right. I'm sorry. I-"

He turned himself from his hands and knees and got to his rear. He sat Indian Style and kept taking breathes. He didn't stop until he was able to speak full sentences. "I know. I know. Man. You almost get run over. I run out and save ya'. You almost get crushed by a tree. I run in and save ya'. First of all…I'm no hero. I've never done something like that and it's a lot cooler looking on T.V. The real shit was scary as hell. This kinda stuff happens to you a lot?" He asked looking up too her, though he wasn't serious in his tone.

Mira shook her head. "Never."

"Tch. Oh. So I'm just guessing the universe wanted to fuck with you today, huh? That's some shit. Seriously. None of the guys are gonna believe this. Let me just rest up and we'll head out." He uncrossed his legs and placed his arms behind him. His gloved hands against the ground, though his arms were lightly shaking still from the previous tension placed upon them.

Mira didn't say anything but just nodded. She sat down with him though as to make him feel more comfortable. Once he got some of his strength back they made their way out of the woods and back to his house. This time there were no words spoken between them. Mira's thoughts kept going back to how she endangered her brother's life on 2 accounts in a row, which made her feel pretty upset with herself. Though she wasn't in control of any of the situations she did have the means to take care of both problems herself. Stephan had to put himself in danger to get her out of it. She just hoped that didn't happen anymore in the coming future when Shadow Giratina began to make his move. Her thoughts were also drifting to the gem and her brother current connection with it. How when it reacted his eyes changed and she could feel the tiniest spike of his locked Aura. She'd have to consult with her father about it and see how that worked out.

Stephan was also thinking about the near-death experiences and just wanted to sleep off the exhaustion he still felt. His body felt weaker than it ever did.

'Feels like years ago when I came home from intense gymnastics practice. God, I hated those days. Loved the tricks I learned...didn't love what it took to get 'em. Training. Goddamn.'

After over half-an-hour of walking they were finally back in front of his house. Stephan gave a yawn as he stretched his arms high. "I'm…I'm going to sleep. Seriously, I'm tired. I mean I was so not ready for today."

"I wasn't either, honestly. But…I still had a lot of fun!" She went to hug him. "Thanks Stephan! I mean it!"

He seemed a bit uncomfortable from the surprising gesture but he slowly returned the hug. "Yeah, you're welcome."

When Mira broke from the hug she didn't move away from him. "Hey, can you do me a favor? Close your eyes for a bit, okay."

He blinked, but couldn't stop a smile from breaking out. "Close my eyes? What? You gonna kiss my cheek or something? I don't mind just to let you know."

Mira playfully rolled her eyes. "Oh, it's nothing like that. Seriously. Just do this one last thing for me, alright? Please?"

With a roll of his own eyes Stephan closed them, his smile slowly fading. His eyebrows twitched when he heard a slight shuffling of clothes before something was wrapped around his neck. He opened his eyes and blinked, feeling something that had a bit of weight right below his neck. He tilted his head to find Mira's special necklace now around his neck. The inside looked like a small spiraling vortex and it seemed to really shine in the sunlight.

"No way! You're giving me this!? Seriously!? But you said it was an heirloom!"

Mira nodded. "True, I did. But I want you to have it. I never really asked for it in the first place and it's not as if daddy doesn't have a bunch of other special things."

Stephan took a hold of the necklace in his palm and clenched a hand over it. 'It's warm. What kind of weird…?' He looked at Mira. "You sure he won't be pissed you gave me this?"

She shook her head. "He gave it to me to do whatever I wanted with it. Now I'm giving it to you and I'm not going to take it back. So you're stuck with it."

Stephan gained a big grin. "Oh no! I'm was just seeing if you were sure is all! Like hell I'd return something like this! Again...this looks like some kinda ancient treasure or something! I mean, I wonder how the heck whoever made this got that little swirl on the inside! I'm going to wear this every day!"

Mira laughed at his enthusiasm over such a small trinket. Guess it didn't really take much to get him excited over something apparently. A little trait she could possibly exploit for a bit of fun here and there. "I knew you'd like it! So…can we play some other time?"

"You mean 'hang out'."

"Nope. I know what I said." She said with a smile.

"Wow. Okay. You're officially a child." He said in a slight deadpanned expression. But he adopted a smile. "But yeah. It's been a long-ass time since I ever raced or played tag with someone. Made me feel like a kid again. Though…I still am one but-"

"I know what you mean." She cut him off with a wave of her hand. She then turned towards the hill and began to walk up the sidewalk in the same direction they came. They both waved goodbye to each other for the last time. Though Mira had her senses extended, using them to tell when he went back into the house. He did so a bit after she passed the second house. She extended them to the entire street now and found that no one in the vicinity was watching her. Her eyes glowed before she teleported back to the woods, making sure to go deep enough to where she felt comfortable to transform into her original Mew self.

("Phew. That took longer than expected. But I have to say I really enjoyed myself! I can't wait to tell everyone the good news! If this works out the way daddy hoped then we might have a big trump card against Shadow Giratina!") Her eyes now glowed pink as she began to call on Palkia's abilities. With a wave of her arms she created a magenta portal with the activation of 'Spatial Rend'. She flew right through it and it closed right after. The portal reopened into the meeting room in the Hall of Origins with Mew flying out of it. The other Legendaries had left the spacious area of white and only Arceus, at the top of his 'pedestal' remained.

His closed eyes opened as he looked down to his eldest daughter."Ah, Mew. It's good to see that you've returned. I trust that everything went smoothly?"

Mew rubbed her head a bit and gave a bit of a nervous laugh. Arceus sighed with a small shake of his head. He knew that would've been too good to be true. "Well~…maybe some itty-bitty mishaps here and there. But it's nothing all that bad! Really! Actually this is much better than we thought it'd be!"

Arceus rose an eyebrow. Well he would if he had eyebrows, but you understand the gesture. "Is that right? Do tell. Leave nothing out of the explanation and I'd like all the details."

Mew smiled broadly and flew right in front of him. Arceus decided to get comfortable on the big, red pillow that was behind him. Knowing Mew, this was going to be quite the little tale and the girl could talk someone's ear off with things she takes a major interest in.

"Well it started when I met these creatures that looked a lot like Wingull's!"
