Eddie traced Patrick's tiny nose as he nursed. He made little gurgling sounds as he ate. She couldn't believe he was 9 pounds and 6 ounces. Her energy was mostly gone. Even eight weeks later. But the tiny baby in her arms having his meal was completely worth the nearly 14 hours of labor.

"Look at these tiny hands. You look just like your daddy."

Jamie leaned over and kiss the crown of Patrick's forehead.

"Patrick Joseph Reagan."

Eddie gave Jamie a small smile.

"I like that you gave Patrick the middle name Joseph after your brother Joe. I know he would be really honored."

It had been three weeks since their house had been broken into. Two since Eddie had come back home from the incident. The couple really hadn't had time to really get to know Patrick until just recently. Jamie added his two cents.

"He has the Reagan smirk. Wonder if he'll have my sense of humor or yours?"

Eddie shifted Patrick a little as she heard him cough.

"You ok baby boy?"

Patrick let out a dismayed cry and then found what he was looking for and resumed eating. Jamie ran a hand over Patrick's tiny head and listened to him give sounds of happy gurgles.

"Easy buddy. The food's not going anywhere. Swallow before you breathe."

Patrick continued cooing as Jamie ran his hand over his head. Soon, Patrick was asleep. Jamie carefully took him from Eddie's arms as she straightened herself out.

"He's so adorable when he sleeps. Kind of like you bub."

Eddie watched as Jamie placed Patrick in the bassinet at the foot of the bed.

"There you go buddy. Nice, warm and comfortable. Mommy and daddy will come get you in couple of hours for another meal."

Eddie smiled tiredly at the little moment that had just occurred.

"I can't get enough of the two of you together. Kind of like this picture."

Gesturing towards a picture on her side table next to the bed, Eddie grabbed it and turned it towards Jamie. Smiling, Jamie grabbed for the picture and looked at it.

"This is one of my favorite photos. He looks so comfortable when he's asleep. No cares in the world. Now onto a more serious question: how's your throat? You still having a little trouble swallowing?"

Eddie frowned and looked at Jamie.

"Jamie, I'm fine bub. The occasional food going down the wrong way, but other than that, I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me."

Jamie shook his head.

"But I do worry about you babe. Someone broke into our house, knocked you unconscious, gave you a very bad head wound, and you were in a medically induced coma for a week. I just want to make sure you're doing alright."

Eddie nodded and felt Jamie pull her to her feet and wrap his arms around her waist. He kissed her neck and the two watched Patrick sleep. She smiled and then leaned into Jamie's embrace.

"You know, looking down the road, you've already delivered 2 of the 5 children you said we're going to have. I wasn't expecting you to deliver Patrick. But you just jumped right in. I'm glad you and Linda helped me through delivering Patrick. He came so fast. He'd been through so much while he was still inside of me, and yet look at him now, strong and healthy as can be. He's a mirror image of you."

Jamie slid his arms from around Eddie's waist and went to dig in the family photo album. He came back with a baby photo of him. It was uncanny really. How much Patrick really did look like Jamie. He held his baby photo next to Patrick's sleeping form and smiled.

"Huh. He really does look like me. Maybe I'm imagining things, but I think he has a bit of a dimple on his left cheek."

Eddie leaned closer to Jamie and gave a slight laugh.

"What? Where?"

Jamie gestured with his index finger.

"Right here. When he smiles, you see it."

Eddie shook her head.

"The more I get to know this beautiful little boy, the more I fall in love with him. He turned out perfect. Ten little toes and ten little fingers. He's all his daddy. With a hint of me."

The couple was interrupted by little feet and Cora's tiny shrill voice.

"Daadddy!"

Jamie went out into the hallway and scooped Cora up into his arms, putting his index finger to lips.

"Shh baby girl. Your brother is sleeping."

Cora cocked her head sideways.

"Sweeping? No night night daddy."

Jamie chuckled and pressed a kiss against her forehead.

"Sleeping. Princess. Patrick needs a lot of sleep. Speaking of sleep, you are supposed to be taking a nap. How did you get out of your crib?"

Cora giggled and hid her face in Jamie's neck.

"Ha ha daddy."

Shaking his head, Jamie took Cora back to her room and set her inside her crib. Placing a small blanket on her, he kissed her forehead again.

"Sweet dreams baby girl."

Cora began to fuss and stared at Jamie. Giving her a slight smile, he gave a quiet sigh.

"Ok, one book. Good night moon."

Cora settled and listened to her daddy read the story. Soon her eyes closed, and she was fast asleep. Leaving the door slightly ajar, he shut he light off. Making his way back to the bedroom, he found Eddie sitting in bed reading a magazine from her side table.

"What were you and Cora up to?"

Jamie felt his lips curl into a smile.

"I just put her down for a nap. I read her two pages of Good night moon and she fell asleep."

Eddie nodded and put her magazine down.

"Well, Mr. Reagan, how about you and I get some cuddle time of our own."

Jamie climbed onto the bed next to Eddie and got under the covers. He pulled her closer to him. Eddie winced and blew out a breath.

"Uw. I'm sorry babe. Did I bump your rib?"

Eddie shook her head and did her best to get comfortable.

"No. I did it. I just need to find a more comfortable position to lay in. There we go. Now you can wrap your arms around me. Mmm. That feels nice. I could stay like this forever."

Jamie smiled into the back of Eddie's neck.

"Me to babe."
