Chapter two: Goku's Childhood. The Arrival of the evil Saiyan Raditz.
"Well now. I assume you're all finished with eating."
The fairy tail mages nodded.
Natsu patted his belly. "That was some good food."
Erza nodded. "Yes, and the strawberry shortcake was delicious."
Good. "Now then, shall we get back to reacting. I will now show you all a small recap of Goku's childhood. There will be an announcer in the background explaining things more in detail. Then I will show you more scenes of Goku's life and rise in strength."
The mages nodded.
"Let's begin shall we."
Malia began showing the scene.
"Last we met Kakarot, the young Saiyan was sent off by his parents to a remote and distant planet called Earth. Hoping that the child would survive the destruction of Planet Vegeta."
"Yep, that's right," said Natsu with a smile. "Goku's parent's made sure their son survived."
"Aye," said Happy.
"Many months later. After traveling a huge distant through space. The Saiyan baby named Kakarot finally landed on the planet Earth."
The scene on the screen showed a young Goku crying on the ground in the middle of a forest. And how a kind old man who happened to pass by took him in his arms.
"Oh dear, I can't very well leave you out here all on your own."
"And thanks to the kindness of a stranger he would make this new world his home."
"Awww," said Mira with a smile. "What a kindhearted man. Taking in a lost child."
Natsu smiled. "Yeah. He kinda reminds me of gramps. He also took most of us in when we had nowhere to go."
They all nodded.
Marakov smiled at his children. "You damm kids. Don't make me get emotional," said the master who wiped away a few tears.
"Oh my, you have a tail," said the old man surprised. "You certainly are a little strange," said the man with a good-hearted chuckle. "But that's alright. I'm a little strange myself."
Everyone laughed at the old man's words. They saw how Goku tried to give a kick to the old man.
"Oh my, you certainly are strong for a child, aren't you? And you're a bit rowdy."
"Well, he is a Saiyan after all," said Gray. "Guess it's in their nature to be a bit rowdy."
"Now then, what to call you? I know. I think I call you Goku."
"This is where the story of Goku Begins."
Natsu and everyone else began to get excited.
"Oh yeah, I'm pumped about this," said the pink-haired dragon slayer.
The scene changed towards an older-looking Goku who was jumping from tree branch to tree branch. And swinging on what looks to be a vine.
"Oooh, he's adorable," said Mira. "Look how happy he is."
Erza smiled. "Yes, he certainly doesn't act rowdy anymore. And he doesn't have his armor on anymore. So that must mean he has hit his head already."
Wendy looked saddened. "So that means he doesn't remember who his parents are."
They all nodded. "The years passed. And the young Goku grew up to be a strong and healthy boy."
The scene changed toward a young teenage girl with blue hair.
"But his life would be forever changed when he met a girl named Bulma. And joined her on a quest to find the Dragon Balls."
Natsu and Gajeel got white in the face by that comment.
"A dragon's what," they both said nervously.
But the voice continued. And scene changed towards a giant green dragon with red eyes.
"Seven magic Orbs that when gathered together. Would call forth the dragon Shenron to grant a single wish."
"A DRAGON," they yelled in shock.
Erza was amazed. "A single wish." Her head began to get all sorts of ideas. Most of them involved a lifelong supply of strawberry cakes.
Natsu had stars in his eyes. "That dragon looks so cool."
The scene changed again. This time Goku was on the back of some kind of vehicle that was driven by Bulma. Followed by a scene with Goku running alongside a bald young man with no nose. They were carrying what appeared to be boxes full of milk bottles. The next scene showed however that the two boys and an old man with sunglasses were running away from a huge Dinosaur.
"Goku met many new friends in his travels. And honed his skills as a pupil of the great martial artist, Master Roshi."
Levi was interested in that vehicle. "I wonder how it works."
Mira got frightened when she saw Goku and his little friend running from a huge lizard monster.
"Oh no, I hope they are okay."
Erza smiled. She saw Goku and his bald friend wearing some kind of turtle shell on their backs. Must be some kind of weight. And the fact that they were carrying a box of milk bottles and were hunted by a huge lizard. It made for a solid training routine. She wonders how much weight the boys are carrying.
"This looks to be an amazing training routine," said the red-haired woman with a grin. "I can't wait to try it out myself."
The scene changed again. This time they saw Goku flying through the air with amazing speed. They saw how he headbutted a young bald man with three eyes in mid-air. The scene that followed showed a huge crowd. And saw how Goku and his opponent were being carried after their fight. Goku gave his opponent a look of respect.
"Skills that were continually put to the test. As he was forced to defend himself and his friends. Against a host of dangerous opponents."
Marakov was amazed by Goku's skill. He looked to be around 14, maybe 15 years old.
"That boy is certainly is something else."
Laxus smirked. "He certainly is one powerful kid. And the bald-headed warrior looks strong also."
Lucy flinched when he saw Goku's head collide with the three-eyed warrior. "That had to hurt."
Erza smiled when he saw the look of respect he gave his opponent. "Goku certainly is a noble warrior."
When the scene changed again. Everyone was a bit caught off guard. They saw a green-looking monster with big ears and antennas on his head. He was powering up some kind of attack. The scene that followed made Happy cheer. It looked to be a white cat who was holding some type of cane. The next scene made both Mira and Lissana worried. Goku was drinking some type of liquid. And they saw how much it hurts by Goku's agonizing face.
"Goku's toughest test came when he faced the powerful villain, King Piccolo. With the help of the Sage Korin allowed Goku to tap into vast reserves of still hidden strength."
"That Piccolo guy sure looks scary," said Wendy a bit frightened.
Charla frowned. "Yes, he certainly does."
Happy cheered. "Look Natsu. A white fluffy cat. Maybe he has some fishies for me."
Natsu chuckled at his best friend's behavior.
"OH, NO, GOKU," said the siblings when they saw him in pain.
Gildarts gave the drink that Goku had a calculated look."That certainly looks like some type of poison. Don't you think so, Master?"
Marakov nodded. "Yes, it does. Though why would Goku willingly drink poison?"
Erza then responded. "Maybe he didn't have any choice. Goku may have fought King Piccolo before. And he lost terribly. If the liquid did indeed have the possibility to make him stronger. Knowing Goku's character so far. He would do anything to protect his friends."
Gray frowned. "Even drinking poison that could kill him."
The Ice mage's respect for Goku went up. He put his life on the line. So that he could defeat a powerful enemy and defend his friends.
In the next scene, they saw Goku flying through the air again. His fist was glowing with an amazing amount of white ki. And behind Goku was an image of a huge ape monster. King Piccolo tried to defend himself from the attack by blocking it. But, it didn't work. They saw how Goku's fist passed through Piccolo's defenses. And Goku's power made him fly through the Demon king's stomach.
"In the battle that followed. The true extent of Goku's otherworldly powers was revealed. And with a mighty charge, King Piccolo's quest for world domination came crashing through a halt."
All fairy tail members cheered. Natsu found the huge monkey that appeared behind Goku so Cool.
"Is that monkey that Oozaru thing that Malia talked about. It looks so awesome."
They all nodded.
Gajeel smirked when he saw Goku's fist go right through Piccolo. "Heh, take that, you ugly green dude."
However, the next scene showed King Piccolo spitting something out of his mouth. It looked like some kind of egg. Everyone got grossed out by the act. The following scenes showed how the egg flew towards a mountain area. And they saw what looked to be a small Piccolo hatching from the egg. The scene changed again towards a different-looking King Piccolo. Who was standing in front of grown-up Goku (that made Canna and Erza blush) on some kind of arena.
"However, with his dying breath. King Piccolo had time to hatch one final scheme. And three years. Piccolo junior, appeared before a grownup Goku. Looking to avenge his father and resume his evil plans."
"Oh god, that's gross," said Canna with a disgusted look.
The others could only nod.
"So," said Marakov with a thoughtful look. "He somehow managed to send his essence into an egg before he died. And that made him reborn in some sense into this Piccolo junior fellow."
"Yes, looks like it," said Laxus. "And he wants to take revenge against Goku. For killing his father and also resume his father's work."
Canna had a sly smile on her face when she saw Goku all grown up. "My, he certainly looks handsome now."
Erza couldn't disagree with her fellow member. Goku's looks certainly were pleasing to the eyes.
Lucy suddenly noticed something. "Hey, Goku doesn't have his tail anymore. I wonder what happened to it?"
The next scene showed how a battled weary Goku came flying from the air. And headbutted Piccolo straight in the stomach. The force of the blow made the Demon King spit out saliva and blood. And made him crash outside a destroyed ring.
"Another epic battle issued. And though the two were almost equally matched. In the end. The new Piccolo could not withstand Goku's might."
Natsu cheered with excitement. "Yeah, that's the way Goku. Show that green ugly thing who's boss."
Lucy chuckled. "Goku sure likes to use his head in battle."
"Damm, that's got to hurt," said Gray.
Erza nodded. Though, she felt a bit concerned about Goku's injuries. He had a hole in his chest area. And blood was leaking out from it.
"If that doesn't get treated soon. He wil die from blood loss," said Erza worriedly.
Mira nodded in concern. "Yes, you're right. Let's hope Goku's friends will be there to patch him up."
The next scene made all the girls(except Erza and Canna) cheer in joy.
Goku was wearing a white tuxedo and standing next to him was a beautiful woman with black hair. She was wearing a beautiful wedding dress. Goku smiled at the woman. And the woman smiled in joy and latched onto his arms. Goku was embarrassed by the action. And nervously rubbed with his finger the underside of his nose. And final scene showed nothing but black emptiness. It looked to be space. An object was seen soaring through the emptiness of space. And the fairy tail members saw how flew past the Earth's sun. And began flying through Earth's atmosphere.
"Five years have passed since that fateful day. Goku married his childhood sweetheart, Chichi. And the two have enjoyed a quiet life together. While the world remained at peace. Until now."
"Awww, look how happy they both look," said Mira with a smile.
Lucy chuckled. "And look how embarrassed Goku looks."
Canna looked at the image with a blank look. Well, he certainly looks happy. Anyhow it didn't matter. These images were from a long time ago. And that Chichi girl had already passed away. Canna grinned. She was determined to make Goku hers.
Erza had a look of envy when she saw the two. She once wanted the same thing with her childhood crush Jellal. But, each time Erza wanted to make the relationship work the blue-haired man always had an excuse of him already being married or that he was not worthy of her love after all the bad things he had done to her and her friends.
The red-haired woman clenched her fists in anger. He broke her heart on several occasions while he said those words to her. She had enough of that. She gave the happy-looking Saiyan on screen a soft smile. From seeing Goku's character so far. He was everything she wanted in a potential husband. His loyalty to his friends. How he wanted to protect them and people weaker than himself. Well, she only saw a small detail of his life so far though. And although he was quite strong. He wasn't yet on her or the other fairy tail member's level yet.
Natsu frowned when he saw the object that was flying through the emptiness of space. His gut told him this was going to be trouble.
Gray clenched his fists. "Dammit, that ship is headed towards Goku's planet. This doesn't look good."
Laxus nodded at the Ice-make mage. "Yes, seems like it. And that ship looks a lot like the one Goku arrived in on Earth. It could be one of the Frieza Force members."
Marakov sighed at that. "We just have to wait and see for ourselves."
The screen changed toward a beautiful home in the mountains. A young woman with black hair was yelling a person's name.
"GOHAN, IT'S LUNCHTIME!"
What a beautiful place, said Wendy with a smile.
Natsu's stomach began to rumble. "Oh, man. That food looks so good."
Lucy sighed. "Honestly Natsu we just ate a few minutes ago."
"That's Natsu for ya," said Happy with a grin.
"Wasn't Gohan the name of Goku's grandfather," said Lisanna confused. "I thought he already had died?"
The other mages were confused by that too.
Malia chuckled. "Don't worry. You will soon see who this Gohan is."
The image changed again towards a familiar spikey-haired Saiyan. Who was jumping from tree to tree. The image that followed. Showed Goku landing in front of a giant tree.
"Ah," said Goku with a smile. "This one should do it."
They saw how the Saiyan from Earth began to focus. He let a huge yell and struck the base of the tree with a hard punch. The force of the blow made the giant tree fall over.
"Well, that's one way to gather up wood," said Gray with a grin.
Yes, and even managed to do it without damaging the surrounding area," said Marakov with a grin.
He then looked at some of his more destructive children. "If only they could be more like that," thought the old man with a sweatdrop.
The scene changed again toward Chi-Chi. "GOHAN, WHERE ARE YOU."
The woman suddenly smiled when she saw Goku coming towards the house carrying a huge tree on his hands.
"Ah, Goku. I'm glad you're back. Have you seen Gohan? I've got lunch ready."
The man known as Goku smiled happily when he heard that.
"Well, what are we waiting for? I'm starving."
Most of the fairy tail members sighed at that.
"Why am I not surprised," said Lucy with a hand over her head.
Natsu grinned. He began to like Goku even more.
"Did you even hear what I said? I asked you where your Son is,"
"Ooooh," said Lucy in understanding. "Now I get it. Goku must have named his son after his grandfather."
Erza smiled at that. "That must mean he respects his grandfather a lot."
Goku looked confused at Chichi. "Huh? I don't know. I thought he was with you."
Chichi sighed. "He must have snuck out to play when I wasn't looking. You two should eat soon or you'll be late for Master Roshi's"
Goku nodded. "Okay, I'll go look for him."
Mira chuckled. "Kids do that most of the time."
Elfman looked confused at her sister's words. "How would you know that, sis? You don't have any kids."
Mira chuckled. "Oh, that's true. But I did have a younger brother and sister to take care of," said Mira with a grin. "In fact, I remember a small silver-haired boy who was constantly getting himself into trouble."
"Ohhh," said Evergreen curious. "Now you've picked my interest."
Elfman blushed in embarrassment. "No, Mira please don't tell," the giant begged her elder sister.
Mira began to giggle. "Don't worry my dear brother. Your secret is safe with me."
The screen turned black for a moment. The scene changed again. Now they saw Goku riding some kind of yellow cloud. And he had a cute little boy on his lap.
"WOW, IS THAT A FLYING CLOUD," yelled Natsu in amazement.
Erza was shocked. "Wish granting orbs, flying clouds. Goku's world certainly has some amazing things."
"Awwww, Goku's Son is so adorable," said Mira with a sweet smile.
"Hey, dad. Were exactly are we going?"
Goku ruffled his son's head. "We're going to meet my friends and my old teacher. I told you about them before. Do you remember?"
The boy nodded with a smile. "Yeah, a little bit. I do remember you talking about your teacher. Master Roshi, right? What's he like?"
The fairy tail members were also curious about this Roshi fellow. If he's anything like their Master. Then he must be quite strong.
"Well, he looks like a feeble old geezer. But he's super strong."
The fairy tail mages laughed at that. Laxus wiped a tear from his eyes.
"Oh god. That caught me off guard. It's true though," said the blond dragon slayer with a teasing grin towards his grandfather. "Most old geezers are strong."
Marakov gained a tick mark on his forehead. "Youngsters these days. No respect I tell you."
"Now, now. You know Laxus is just joking around, Master," said Mira with a smile.
The scene changed again. Goku was now standing on an island with a pink house and a red roof.
All the boys cringed at the house.
"That is so not manly," said Elfman with a whisper.
"Oh, cmon. It's not that bad," said Lucy with a frown.
Erza gave the small house a quick look. "It's certainly is unique," said the red-haired woman with a chuckle.
"Hellooo," said Goku.
Three people rushed from inside the house. One was the same old man they saw earlier in Goku's childhood memories. That must be Master Roshi. The other two were very recognizable. The woman must be that Bulma girl. Her hair was a big giveaway. The bald-headed monk had to be Goku's childhood friend. The one he trained together with under Master Roshi. Though, they didn't quite know his name.
"GOKU," the three yelled happily.
When they saw the kid. They were confused.
"So, who's the kid," asked Bulma.
"Yeah, what gives? Are you babysitting him for somebody," said the bald monk.
Lisanna chuckled. "They are going to be surprised."
Goku smiled. "He's my son."
"WHAAAAT," they yelled in shock.
"Okay? That's certainly a bit too much," said Lucy with a sweatdrop.
Goku laughed. "Yeah, I know. Crazy huh." Goku put his son down next to him. "Cmon, say hi," said Goku to his son.
The boy bowed in greeting. "Hello," said the boy shyly.
The others bowed in return.
"Hello to you too little guy," said Master Roshi.
Lucy smiled. "Awww, Gohan is so polite."
Mira agreed. "Yes. He certainly is a little angel."
"This is Gohan," said Goku.
"Gohan," said Master Roshi surprised. "I see. So you named him after you're dear old grampa, did ya?"
Goku nodded.
"I have to admit this is some surprise. I honestly didn't think you had in you, Goku," said Roshi with a chuckle.
Marakov also chuckled with a slight grin on his face when he heard Roshi's words. He had a feeling he and Roshi would get along great with each other.
"He's adorable," said Bulma with a smile. "So tell me, Gohan. How old are you?"
The little boy held out four fingers. "I'm four, Miss."
"Such a little gentleman. Sure he's yours," said Bulma with a grin.
Lucy laughed at Bulma's comment. Goku began to remind the Celestial mage so much of her boyfriend. How they both like food. And how goofy he sometimes acted. As for manners, well she couldn't quite know for sure until she saw more of Goku's life. But Lucy was pretty confident that the spikes-haired Saiyan would eat in the same manner as Natsu.
Goku rubbed in embarrassment. "Well, he gets that from Chichi."
"So tell us more about yourself Gohan. What do you want to be when you grow up," asked Bulma.
"A great Scholar," said Gohan with a smile.
Mira smiled at that. "Awwww, what a cutie pie. He already knows what he wants to be in life."
Levi nodded with a grin. "Good choice kid. The world could use some more smart people."
Natsu pouted. "Man, I thought for sure he would say a great fighter."
Erza chuckled. "Aw, Natsu. Not everyone wants to become strong warriors like us. You have to accept that."
"You don't say," said Bulma with a surprised look.
The blue-haired woman suddenly noticed something behind the small boy. "A tail," said Bulma with a nervous look.
Goku smiled. "Yep. Just like I used to have, remember?"
The bald monk nodded. "Oh, yeah. That's right."
Lucy began to think." I really wonder what happened to Goku's tail. Did he remove it? Or did it got cut off?"
Canna shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe we will figure that out later."
"So Goku," said Bulma with a nervous look. "Have you noticed anything strange about your boy?"
Goku looked confused. "What do you mean?"
Master Roshi continued. "For example, does he act differently when he sees a full moon or anything?"
"Sees a full moon," said Goku deep in thought. "No, but we go to bed pretty early. Why did you ask," said Goku a bit curious?
"Never mind. It's nothing," said Master Roshi who was trying to change the subject.
"So, Goku doesn't know he can change into that Oozaru creature," said Gray confused. "Why would his friends keep that a secret from him?"
Mira frowned. "I don't know. However, they may have a reason for it."
Erza clenched her fists. "This may be just a guess. But it could be that Goku would lose control of himself whenever he transformed. And, maybe. Something happened. Something bad."
Natsu frowned. "Malia? Do you know what happened," asked the pink-haired dragon slayer?
"Yes. It is as Erza said. When Goku transformed as a kid. He would lose control of himself. He would attack anyone and anything in sight. Be they friend or foe."
"That's awful," said Mira with a sad look.
Elfman clenched his fists. It reminded the takeover mage of his failure that day.
"Did Goku kill someone when he was in that state," asked the silver-haired mage.
"Unfortunately, he did. He killed his own grandfather when he went berserk."
The fairy tail members bowed their heads in sorrow.
"Poor, Goku," said Lisanna sadly.
Natsu clenched his fist. "That's why his friends won't tell. If he would find out he was the reason why his grandfather was dead."
Erza continued her fellow guildmate's words. "He would blame himself for it."
Marakov sighed sadly at that. "It's a good thing his friends kept it a secret then."
They all nodded.
The bald monk, who they find out was named Krillin from Malia began to speak.
"He sure takes after you in the looks department, Goku. So tell me? Is he as strong as you?"
"Well, uh. It's hard to say. It seems like it sometimes. But I can't give him any martial arts training to find out for sure. Chichi won't let me."
All the fairy tail members were surprised at that.
"Why would Chichi say that," said Gray confused.
Natsu pouted. "Seems like a waste if you ask me."
The male members nodded at that.
Mira chuckled. "Oh, I think Chichi is just being very protective of Gohan."
Canna snorted. "Overprotective seems more like it to me"
"Why," said Krillin confused. "Seems like such a waste to me."
Natsu grinned at the bald man's words. "Thank you. Someone who agrees with me."
Lucy chuckled at Natsu's words.
"I know right," said Goku. Agreeing with his best friend.
"But Chichi won't budge. She said the world is at peace for so long now. There's no reason to teach him how to fight. She says he needs to focus on studying and school."
Gajeel snorted at that. "Even in times of peace. A mage should always continue his training to prepare for the worst."
Laxus nodded in agreement.
"Gohan is only a child, you know," said Lucy with a sweatdrop.
Erza nodded at that. "That is true. I would recommend a light basic exercise and balance it with his homework. It would be much more rewarding in the end."
Mira sighed at the red head's words. "But you heard Gohan. He doesn't want to become a fighter. He wants to become a scholar."
Canna snorted at Mira's words. "That's just Chichi's influence talking. Who knows what that woman made him do in those four years."
Gildarts sighed. "Enough, already. Let's just continue to watch the scene."
Roshi began to laugh. "So, that little firecracker wife of yours turned out to be a real school mom did she."
"Daddy," said Gohan happily. The young child who was playing with a brown turtle ran towards his father.
Goku smiled at his son and patted his head.
The fairy tail members smiled at the scene.
"Such a beautiful bond between father and son," said Mira with a warm smile.
"Yeah," said Natsu with a sad smile.
The pink-haired dragon slayer still missed his father, Igneel. He hoped that wherever the fire dragon was, he was happy. He made sure to keep those happy memories he spent with his dad in his heart.
Bulma suddenly spoke. "Oh, I can't believe I missed it on Gohan's head. Is that a Dragonball?"
"Yeah. It's the fourth-star ball. It was my grampa's most prized possession. I put it there to remember him by."
Marakov smiled at that. "Goku really loved his grandfather."
Natsu gave Marakov a grin. "Of course gramps. It's only natural to love your own grandfather. Just like we all love you."
The mages nodded in agreement.
Marakov began to tear up. "You damm kids. Stop making me cry."
Laxus chuckled at his grandfather's behavior.
"I also found the third-star and the sixth-star while looking for this one. I keep them back at home."
Bulma had a nostalgic look on her face. "Now that takes me back. We had some crazy times searching for those things."
Goku chuckled at Bulma's words.
Suddenly, Goku's happy look vanished. He was on high alert and his muscles tensed up.
"What's that," said Goku a bit scared.
"What's wrong," asked Master Roshi a bit started by Goku's serious expression.
"I don't know. Something coming this way."
Gray frowned. "Could be that person we saw flying in that spaceship earlier?"
Natsu nodded. "My gut tells me it is."
"Are you sure about that," said Krillin feeling doubtful.
But Goku started shaking. The fairy tail members could suddenly hear his thoughts.
"This power, I never sensed anything like it."
Erza gave the Saiyan from Earth a sad look. "He must feel powerless right now."
Mira nodded sadly.
"There," said Goku on full alert. "Here it comes."
In the sky, a figure of a person could be seen. It came closer and closer to the Island.
"What the hell? Who is that," said Krillin a bit freaked out.
Master Roshi frowned. "This is trouble. I can feel it."
When the person landed. The fairy tail members recognized the armor that the individual was wearing. It was the armor of the Frieza force. Levi saw that the man with long black spikey hair was wearing a green scouter. It began to calculate something since it was making noise.
The man suddenly smirked in Goku's direction. "So, we finally meet. You are all grown up."
Goku was shocked at the man's words.
"But I could tell it was you by a glance, Kakarot."
"Kaka… what," said Goku confused.
The man smiled. "My how you look like our father."
"Wait," said Lucy in shock. "Father. Wait, does that mean…."
Mira nodded. Yes. This must be Goku's older brother, Raditz."
Natsu frowned. This Raditz was nothing but trouble. His eyes were full of evil intentions.
"What does that mean," asked Bulma confused.
"Wait, hold on a sec. You know this guy," asked Krillin towards his best friend.
"Kakarot," said the man angrily. "What the hell have you been doing all of these years? Your mission was to terminate every native lifeform on this planet. So why didn't you carry it out."
Laxus glared at the screen. "He wasn't sent there to conquer it, you bastard." Electricity began to radiate from the lightning mage.
Natsu gritted his teeth in anger. How dare this guy. Goku was sent away by his parents. Hoping he would survive. Not to kill everyone.
"Huh?" Goku looked in confusion at his Master. But Roshi didn't know what to say.
Krillin got a bit ticked off. "Now look, you. I don't know who you are. But I think we heard more than enough. Time to leave."
"You tell him, Krillin," said Happy with a smile. "Make that guy go away."
All fairy tail members cheered at that. But Marakov, Gildarts, Laxus, and Erza were still looking at the screen with a stoic look.
"Shoo, go," said Krillin with a wave of his hand. "Or, since you don't seem to be good at taking a hint. Maybe you need me to show you in the right direction."
"KRILLIN, GET BACK," yelled Goku. Trying to warn his friend. But it was already too late.
The man smacked the bald-headed man aside with little effort.
"AAAH," screamed Krillin. As he was flung into Kame house.
"KRILLIN," yelled Goku who was worried about his best friend.
"Krillin," said Wendy in horror. "I hope he is okay."
"I'm sure he is," said Lucy, trying to comfort the little girl.
"You," said Goku angrily towards the man. But he and the rest of his friends were shocked when they saw that the man had a tail.
"He has a tail. Just like Gohan. Just like I did," said Goku in surprise.
The man's smirked. "That's right. Very good. You finally realized who I am."
"I have? What do you…. I don't know what you're talking about," said Goku confused.
Bulma took little Gohan in her arms to keep him safe.
Mira sighed in relief at that.
"Kakarot," said the man a bit annoyed. "Have you been on this planet for so long that you have forgotten even that?"
"My memory is fine," said Goku with a frown. "And you can stop calling me this Kaka… whatever it is your saying. My name is Goku."
"That's right," said Natsu with a grin. "Goku is a much cooler name. Who names their kids after vegetables anyway," said the pink-haired mage with a disgusted look.
"Aye," said Happy with a grin. "Fish taste much better."
They all chuckled at that.
"What the hell happened to you," said the man a bit shocked.
Gohan ran out of Bulma's arms and ran towards his father. "Daddy." He hugged one of his father's legs.
"No," said Mira with a gasp. "Gohan has to leave. It's not safe for him there."
Erza agreed. "Yes, you are right. But he is frightened. And he doesn't know these people well enough. That's why he wants to seek the protection of his father."
"Gohan. Stay back," said Goku who was trying to protect his son.
"Hey," said Raditz. "Tell me, did you ever suffer any serious blows to the head when you were young?"
"What," said Goku.
"Are you stupid too? I'm asking, did you ever hit your head while you were a kid. Now answer me."
While the man was talking, Bulma took Gohan away from his father.
Mira nodded at that. She hoped that the woman would keep Gohan safe during this whole ordeal.
Gajeel frowned at the man's demands. This guy was really starting to piss him off.
Goku held his head. "Yes. But it was when I was really little. I don't remember anything about it."
"I see. That explains it," said the man with a frown.
"Explains what? What do you mean," said Goku angrily.
"Goku," said Master Roshi. "There is something that you're grandfather once told me that I think you should know."
Everyone listens closely to the old man's words. Even the fairy tail members. Even though they already knew what happened.
Roshi began to tell that Gohan had found a little boy in the woods someday. And that he tried to take care of him. But the boy was wild and had an angry violent nature. He told about an accident and how the young boy fell into a ravine and hit his head. The injury was nearly fatal. But miraculously, the boy survived. And from that day on. The child was no longer violent. He became a happy loving boy.
"Wow," said Lucy surprised. "We knew that Goku hit his head when he was younger. But Falling into a ravine from such heights?"
Marakov nodded at the Blond mage. "Yes, any normal child would not have survived such a fall. It must be his Saiyan biology that saved him that day."
Erza smiled when she saw the image of a happy-looking kid Goku who was holding his grandfather. He was so adorable.
The scene changed again towards Kame house.
"That boy was me. Wasn't it," asked Goku towards his Master.
"Yes," said Roshi.
"But if that's true. Then what does it mean," said Bulma. "Are you saying that Goku and this guy have some kind of connection? How is that even possible?"
"Yeah. It's time you did some explaining. First, who are you?"
The fairy tail members sighed sadly. This wasn't going to be pretty to watch.
Raditz chuckled. "Let's start at the top. The truth is, you're not of this world, Kakarot."
Goku's eyes widened at that.
"You were born on a distant Planet called Vegeta. Home of the Saiyan race. The most powerful warriors in the universe. You are one of us."
Goku, Buma, Roshi, and Krillin who had gotten up from his beat down were shocked at the news.
Gildart frowned at Raditz's words. "Most powerful warriors in the universe. Man, this guy certainly is full of himself."
Erza glared at the screen. "Goku is not one of them. He has been raised on Earth. And has compassion towards others."
Lucy nodded at that. "Yeah, Goku may be a Saiyan through blood. But that's the only connection he has."
"And as for your other question," said the man with an evil grin. "My name is Raditz. I'm your brother."
If Goku and the others were shocked earlier. They were certainly now.
"No way," said Krillin surprised. "Goku has an older brother?"
"It's gotta be some kind of joke," said Bulma in denial.
"If it is it's not funny," said Goku with a frown.
"It's crazy. If Goku's an alien like he says. Then what is he doing on Earth?"
"Oh, no," said Lisanna worried. "I hope Goku is going to be okay. Whatever that Raditz guy will say. It might be too much for him to handle."
Natsu shook his head. "Nah, he is going to be fine. He might be shocked at first. But he isn't going to let that bother him for too long."
Raditz chuckled. "It's not that hard to understand. Kakarot was sent to this world with a single mission long before he was born. To destroy every human on the Planet."
Goku was shocked. "What."
"That's not true," said Wendy who was crying. "Goku was sent to Earth by his parents. They did that so he could survive and grow up happily and strong."
"There, there, Wendy," said Charla. "No need to cry."
Wendy blushed. "I wasn't crying. I just had something in my eyes."
Charla chuckled at Wendy's attempt to hide her tears.
"We Saiyans may be a proud warrior race. But we're also businessmen. We scour the universe in search of Planets with habitable environments. And then use our skills to eliminate the native lifeforms."
The fairy tail members glared at Raditz's words.
"Once cleared, the planets are then sold to any alien race that is willing to pay the price. For those planets whose inhabitants have high power levels. Adult Saiyans are sent in to subdue the territory. But, to planets like this one. Who's lifeforms are pathetic and weak. We sent our infants."
"Yes, we all know about your inhuman deeds," said Lucy with a glare. "But don't you dare bring Goku into this. He's nothing like you brutes."
Erza, Natsu, and Gray nodded at that.
"This is how you came here to be Kakarot. Even by yourself. A year or two is more than enough time to liquidate these human pests. You could have done it easily if you didn't lost your memory," said Raditz with a frown.
Goku stared at Raditz with a shocked look on his face.
Canna looked at Goku sadly. "Poor, guy. He must be still in shock after hearing all of that."
Juvia nodded. "I don't blame him. If I was in his shoes, I would probably do the same thing."
"Right," said Gray. Who was wearing nothing but his boxers.
Canna sighed. "Gray, you're clothes."
"Oh, crap. How did this happen?"
Natsu laughed at his rival's situation.
"Especially considering the massive size of the moon here," continued Raditz with a grin.
Goku looked confused. "Hey. What are you talking about? What does the moon have to do with anything?"
"Don't play dumb. You must know. You lived on this Planet your entire life. The full moon is key to unlocking a Saiyan's true potential."
Goku's friends had a scared look on their faces.
"Well, that proves that Goku doesn't know about the Oozaru form," said Levi with a thoughtful look.
The fairy tail members nodded at the script mage.
"Maybe I am dumb. Because you still aren't making any sense."
Raditz suddenly noticed something. "Kakarot, your tail."
Goku looked confused behind him. "Excuse me?"
"What happened to your tail?"
"That. It got cut off a long time ago. What does it matter?"
Lucy smiled. "So, I was right. Goku's tail did get cut off."
"Yeah, but was it cut off by himself or his friends," said Elfman confused.
"What does it matter," said Gray with a sigh. "I say good riddance. Without that tail. Goku won't be able to transform and endanger his friends or family."
Freed nodded at Gray's words. "That's true. Better safe than sorry."
Raditz glared at his brother. "You fool. How could you let that happen? Do you even realize what you have done."
Goku looked confused.
"That explains how you have been able to fit in so well with these miserable humans."
The fairy tail members glared at Raditz.
"I rather be a miserable human than a heartless bastard like you," said Gajeel angrily.
Levi smiled at Gajeel's words. He certainly had come a long way since he first joined fairy tail.
"That's enough," said Goku angrily. "Even if it is true. And I'm some kind of alien from another planet. Or even if you are my older brother. Goku got a disgusted look on his face. "It doesn't matter. Anyone who does the horrible things you say is no brother of mine."
The Saiyan raised on Earth pointed at himself. "My name is Goku. And this is my home. And you're not welcome here."
All the fairy tail members grinned at that.
"Couldn't have said it better myself," said Gildarts.
"YEAH, NOW THAT'S A REAL MAN," yelled Elfman.
"You tell him Goku," said Bulma with a glare towards the evil Saiyan.
"You heard the man. Whatever his past. Goku is one of us now. In fact, he's a better human being than any of us," said Roshi with a glare.
"He saved the entire world before. Would alien warrior do that? I don't think so," said Krillin.
"They all really look up to Goku," said Lucy with a smile.
Erza smiled. She had slight blush on her face. "It comes as no surprise to me. He is quite heroic."
Mira chuckled at her friend's blush. "Ara ara. Erza Chan. Are you developing a crush on Goku?"
Erza was taken off guard by Mira's words. Her head began to resemble a tomato.
"N-no, of course not. I just admire his heroic deeds and his compassion toward his friends."
Mira chuckled. "Oh, I see. That makes sense. Still, if that is true. Then how come you are blushing?"
Lucy and Lisanna giggled at that.
"I'm not blushing. It's just a bit hot in here," said Erza with a huff.
Canna frowned. She really hoped that was true. She really didn't want any competition to win Goku's heart.
Raditz chuckled. He began to walk forward. Goku and his friends avoided the evil Saiyan.
"I'm afraid it would take more than shouting to convince me to leave. Powerful though we are. We Saiyans have never been strong in numbers. What's more, our proud race was almost wiped out entirely when a giant meteor struck our home planet Vegeta."
"Wait, a meteor destroyed planet Vegeta," said Natsu confused. "I thought it was destroyed by that Frieza bastard."
Malia spoke. "That is true. The meteor is a cover story that Frieza made up. He did that to deceive the remaining Saiyans. So that they would still be loyal to them."
"Heh, sounds like something that ugly bastard would do," said Gajeel with a frown.
"There weren't any survivors. Everyone was vaporized," said Raditz with a stoic look. "That includes our mother and father Kakarot."
The fairy tail members sighed sadly when they heard that.
"Poor Bardock and Gine," said Mira.
"Counting you, there are only four left of Saiyan descent. I was on an assignment with one of our warriors when the meteor hit. We lived. A third Saiyan also survived. He was sent to conquer a distant planet just like you were. Recently we happened upon an inhabitant world that we think would fetch us a large prize. But there is just one tiny problem. Even with all three of us, it won't be an easy fight."
Goku didn't say anything. He just kept looking at his so-called brother with a frown on his face.
Erza clenched her fists. She had a good idea why Raditz came to Earth. They were planning on recruiting him.
"And that's where you come into the picture, my long-lost little brother. Your power level is lower than I would have liked. But even so. The four of us together should be able to manage just fine."
"Stay away from me," said Goku with a glare. "Back off."
The Saiyan from Earth took a few steps back in fright.
"Kakarot. Can't you see? Open your eyes. You were born for this," said Raditz with an evil glint in his eyes.
Natsu had a fierce look on his face. "Dammit. I really wanna punch that jerk."
"Get in line, Salamander," said Gajeel with a glare.
Gohan began to shake in fright. "I'm scared."
Mira glared at the screen. A purple aura began to surround her body. "That bastard. how dare he scare a little boy. I'm going to rip his balls off."
All the men got white in the face by the she-devil's words.
Erza cracked her knuckles. A red aura began to surround her body also. "Good idea. I'll join you."
Lucy laughed nervously. "Euh, you two know this is only a memory right?"
"That is ridiculous. You can forget it," said Goku with a glare. "I'll die before I help you murder an entire world full of people."
"Well said Goku," said Marakov with a smile.
Laxus grinned. "He would fit right in with Fairy tail. Won't he gramps?"
"Yes. He certainly would," said Marakov with a grin.
Raditz smirked. "Really."
The evil Saiyan looked behind Goku.
"You know there is something I have been wondering. Is that your son? The brat behind the blue-haired woman."
All the fairy tail members glared even harder at the screen.
"He wouldn't," said Mira with a fierce look.
"No, it isn't," said Goku with a glare.
"You can't fool me. That boy has Saiyan blood. There is no use in hiding it from me. I can see his tail from right here."
The glare that Goku gave Raditz. Made some of the mages swallow nervously.
"WHAT IF HE DOES. HUH," yelled Goku in a battle position.
"I wanted to reason with you. But I can see you don't know what's best for your son. So I'm afraid I'll have to take him with me."
Raditz began to walk in Goku's direction with an evil smirk on his face.
"WHY THAT BASTARD," yelled Mira. I'm going to kill him if I ever see him.
Malia nervously chuckled. "I'm afraid you are already too late for that. The Saiyan Raditz died a long time ago."
Mira calmed down when she heard that.
"Hold it. Don't you take one step closer to my son. I'm warning you."
Raditz smirked. He vanished from Goku's sight. And appeared in front of the younger Saiyan and struck him in the gut with incredible force.
Goku landed on the beach while he was holding his stomach in pain.
"GOKU," yelled the fairy tail members in fright.
Gohan was worried. And tried to run toward his father to see if he was okay.
"Daddy. Get up."
But Raditz intervened. And grabbed the boy in his left hand.
"Not so fast," said Raditz with a grin.
"Gohan," said Master Roshi in fright.
Mira's aura began to get even fiercer.
Laxus held her close to try to calm her down.
Mira was surprised by this. And began to blush.
Easy, Mira. It's only a memory. So try to calm down, okay?
The She-devil sighed. But nodded.
Erza Grinned. "My, Mira. It looks like you are turning red. Why would that be? Are you and Laxus an item?"
Mira huffed. "That is no concern to you." She suddenly grinned evilly at Erza. "You tin can."
Everybody from the guild was shocked. Did Mira just insult Erza? The last time Mira did that was when she and Erza were still teenagers.
Erza glared at Mira. "Why you hag."
"Enough," said Gildarts. "Stop arguing and let's continue with reacting."
"So, as I said. I'll be taking your son. And if you want to see him alive again. You better do what your big brother says."
"D-damm y-you," said Goku in pain.
"I will give you 24 hours to think about my offer. The choice is yours. But for your son's sake, I hope you decide to join us."
"What a bastard," said Laxus with a frown.
Marakov began to grip his cane in anger.
"Still, you should show me a gesture of your legions. Let's see. Oh, I think I know just the thing. You're going to slaughter one hundred humans by this time tomorrow. If you get a taste for it. Feel free to kill more. Stack the bodies over there on the beach."
Everyone was horrified by Raditz's words.
"How can anyone be so cruel," said Lucy with tears in her eyes.
"That bastard," said Natsu with gritted teeth. "Not only is he kidnapping Goku's son. But he also forces Goku to kill humans."
"I can't wait to see which fate you choose for your son Kakarot. Try not to worry. I won't hurt my nephew unless I have to," said Raditz with a grin.
Gohan began to cry even harder. "Daddy, please help me."
Goku, who was still in pain. Tried to reach for his son.
"G-Gohan."
Erza was gritting her teeth in anger. The strongest woman in fairy tail felt so powerless. She couldn't do anything but watch. This was only a memory after all.
Mira had never felt such anger before in her life. She wished there was something she could do. But the only thing she could do was watch.
"Just in case you missed anything. I will say it one more time. If you want your boy back, you will eliminate one hundred humans and bring them here before I return in twenty-four hours. If you do. You will then have the privilege to rejoin our race. If you don't. If I come back and I don't see one hundred dead humans. Your son will die."
"You Bastard," said Gajeel with a glare.
"You coward. He is just a kid. Leave him out of this," said Krillin angrily.
"Yeah, that's right," said Bulma with a glare.
"And besides, it won't work. It doesn't matter what you do. Goku would never kill anyone," Said Master Roshi.
"Oh, I see. If you're willing to let this one die. I can finish him off right now, and Kakarot won't have get his hands dirty."
"Don't you dare," said Mira with a fierce look.
"Why are Goku's friends still just standing there," said Natsu angrily. "Why don't they help him and try to rescue Gohan?"
Lucy sighed sadly. "You can't blame them Natsu. They are terrified."
Raditz smirked. "Suit yourself. Your days are numbered anyway. Every creature on this planet will soon be exterminated. Once we complete our current mission. With or without Kakarot's help. We'll be back to conquer Earth."
"Y-you will," said Master Roshi scared.
"Of course, it will only be the three of us against billions and billions of humans. Even so, I'm sure we can finish the job in under a month."
"Oh, no," said Wendy sadly.
Gray frowned. "Dammit. That isn't good."
Goku suddenly gripped his brother's ankle.
Raditz smirked at his brother. "Did you catch all of that Kakarot? Struggle all you want. You know the only way out of this is to join me and rest of the Saiyans."
"Give me back my boy," said Goku who was still in pain.
"When I come back tomorrow for your decision. The word I want to hear from you is yes."
"Goku will never join you," said Lucy with a glare. "You creep."
"That's right," said Erza with a frown. "He isn't that kind of person."
"For your son's sake. You shouldn't struggle to fight back."
Raditz levitated into the air.
"Your power level is nothing compared to that of a real Saiyan. And you certainly aren't any match for your older brother."
"Daddy. Help me," cried Gohan.
"Gohan," said Mira with tears in her eyes.
"I'll be looking forward to tomorrow Kakarot. See you then."
Raditz flew away laughing while having Gohan in his arms.
"GOHANNNN," yelled Goku.
The scene ended with Goku falling to his knees. While his friends ran toward him.
"I think it's time for a break everyone," said Malia.
They all nodded in agreement.
"You all must be hungry. I made sure to prepare some tasty dishes."
They all smiled at that.
Natsu cheered. "Great. Because I'm starving."
"You are always hungry Natsu," said Lucy with a giggle.
