Important Note: In this story, I will mostly follow the dragon ball kai series. But, for some scenes, I'm going to use the original Ocean dub. Just to let you know.
Chapter 13: The Rebellion against Frieza. Vegeta's burning Ambition.
Lisanna looked with worry at her elder sister. She hasn't spoken a word since a certain lighting dragon slayer talked to her privately earlier. The eldest Strauss sibling also had a sad look in her eyes. Whatever those two had talked about earlier, it must have been quite something to put her sister in such a state. Even Elfman noticed it. He was glaring daggers at Laxus.
The lightning mage frowned sadly. He felt guilty of hurting Mira's feelings. But it was better to tell the truth than keep lying to her. It had to be done.
Laxus sighed. "Elfman, stop glaring at me. I didn't do anything wrong, ok?"
"Oh" yeah," said the big man with a glare. "Then how come Mira is in such a state. She was fine earlier today. And she began to act like this after you two had talked. Clearly you have done something that made her upset."
Laxus frowned. "The only thing I told her was the truth. And frankly, this doesn't concern you."
"THE HELL IT DOES," yelled Elfman angrily.
Most of the mages swallowed nervously at the older Strauss sibling's outburst. But Laxus didn't flinch. He just kept staring at Elfman. Unafraid whatsoever. The take over mage kept glaring at the lightning mage. Until a voice stopped the giant.
"That's enough brother," said Mira with a stern look.
"But, Mira," said Elfman with a frown. "He made you upset. I can see it in your eyes."
"Yes, that he did," said Mira with a sad sigh. "But he had a good reason for making me feel that way."
Elfman and everyone else(except Laxus obviously)were confused.
"What do you mean," said Lisanna confused.
"Enough," said Mira with an even stricter voice. "Enough said over this subject. This is something between me and Laxus. So please, stop asking."
"Fine," said Elfman with a sigh. "I'll keep quiet about the subject. For now at least."
"Thank you," said Mira with a soft smile. "I'll promise to talk about it when I'm ready, ok?"
Elfman and Lisanna nodded.
"Uhm, are you all ready to react again? Or should I give you all some time first?"
Mira shook her head. "No, everything is fine. You can continue the reaction Malia."
"Very well."
The screen started showing what happened last time. With you-know-who on the background.
"Last time. Under Mr. Popo's guidance our heroes discovered the ancient alien spaceship in which Kami first arrived on planet Earth untold ages ago. And found it more than flight worthy."
"You could say that again," said Gray with a nod. "That ship is crazy fast."
"Don't remind me," said Natsu who was starting to get a bit green in the face.
Mira chuckled at Natsu's words.
"Hoping to locate more dragon balls. Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan prepared their month-long course for planet Namek. The journey continues, now."
"Alright," said Gajeel with a grin. "Finally we can react again. It feels like it's been ages."
"Don't be silly Gajeel kun," said Levi with a giggle. "It's only been 30 minutes at most."
Gajeel looked embarrassed. "I know. It just feels like it has, okay."
Everyone chuckled at dragon slayer's words.
The mages began to give their full attention on the screen. But most of the mages quickly averted their eyes from the screen when they saw a certain blue-haired scientist lying on a…. What seemed to be some kind of bed with nothing but her sleepwear. If you could call it a sleepwear.
Elfman couldn't help but stutter. "W-why is B-bulma s-sleepwear so revealing?"
Evergreen laughed at her boyfriend's words. He was always such a shy man whenever it came to such things.
Lucy could only frown. "Such a vulgar state of dressing."
Happy could only chuckle. "Isn't that calling the kettle black. You're the one who's always seem to like walking around naked."
Natsu blushed, but nodded. "Happy has a point, you know. You find yourself in a position of undress most of the time."
Lucy turned red. It's not like I meant for those things to happen. They most happen on accident."
Grey nodded sadly. "I know how you feel. It happens to me all the time."
The mages could only sweat drop at the conversation.
Bulma yawned loudly. "Could this trip be any more boring. It's only day seven. We have like forever left."
The young woman began gulp down a beer.
Canna couldn't help but sigh sadly. "Oh, man. Now I wished I brought a few more beers with me from the dining hall."
Erza gave Canna a stern look. "You just gulped down two barrels of beer and two bottles of sake. I think you had more than enough for now."
Canna chuckled nervously. "Really? That many huh? I didn't notice."
Gildarts could only smirk at her daughter's feats. "That's my girl. Cornelia would have been so proud."
"In hindsight I really wished I would have thought to install a hibernation chamber on this stupid junk heap," said Bulma with another yawn.
The young woman then noticed Krillin and Gohan. They seem to be in some kind meditation pose on the floor.
Bulma sighed. "You guys doing the whole image training thing again? Well whoop-de-doo for you."
"Image training," thought everyone curious.
"I wonder what kind of training that is," said Erza with a thoughtful look.
"Me too," said Laxus a bit intrigued.
They mages however soon figured out what image training was when the screen showed an amazing scene. An image of both Gohan and Krillin. Fighting in what seem to be….space?
"Wow, incredible," said Fried with an amazed look.
Bickslow could only nod.
The mages began to follow the intense fight of the two warriors. And at first it seemed like Krillin had the opperhand.
"Yeah, go Krillin," said Lisanna with a cheer. "He really is something else."
Erza nodded with an impressive look. Krillin may not be that strong. But he had some incredible techniques at his disposal. But just when it seemed that Krillin was about to win. Gohan surprised everyone when he unleashed Piccolo's signature technique at the last moment. Ending the training session with a bang.
"Yes! That's the way kid. Awesome job," said Gildarts with a grin.
Laxus smirked. "The little tyke took advantage of Krillin's charging attack. Quite ingenious."
Marakov nodded. "Yes. He must have caught Krillin by surprise with that one."
Krillin woke up from his meditation and breath harshly. Gohan opened his eyes and sighed in relief.
"Wow, nice job. You're really are just like your old man. Between that and Piccolo's training. I bet there's no one you can go head to head with."
Gohan smiled at Krillin's words. "Hey, you got a lot of cool techniques too. You almost had me there for a sec."
"Juvia thinks they both did an excellent job," said the water mage with a smile.
Lucy nodded. "Yeah. That they did. They both have such incredible techniques at their disposal. That Kamehameha attack that Krillin used was powerful."
Natsu nodded. "Yeah. Not to mention that Kienzin haa and that drilling beam thing that Gohan did."
Mira smiled. They both had done so well.
Bulma suddenly spoke up. "I have a thought. You so keen on mental imagery. Try this one on for size. You two. Cleaning up the horrendous mess you made of the ship before I resort in to opening the airlock."
Everyone suddenly noticed all of empty food containers and magazines that were scattered around the ship.
"Damm, that's a lot of garbage," said Gajeel a grin. "Reminds me of Dragneel's place."
Natsu frowned. "Hey. My house isn't that messy."
"Yeah right," everyone thought with a sweat drop.
"Uh, I hate to break it to you. But this horrendous mess. Me and Gohan had nothing to do with it. This is your handywork."
"Oh, yeah? Well you know what? I'm the captain of this rig so it's my prerogative. You think you can just sit there playing mind games while I do all the heavy lifting around here?"
"Isn't Bulma overreacting a bit now," asked Wendy a bit confused.
"A little," said Grey with a snort. "She's acting like a bi…."
Grey was interrupted when Erza gave him a punch in the head. "No cursing in front of Wendy, Grey."
Charla nodded in agreement.
"What? Heavy lifting? You just got through saying you were bored," said Krillin confused.
"Don't contradict me. If you don't respect me as your Captain. Then at least, at least have the decency to respect me for the rare and delicate flower that I am," said Bulma with a yawn as she walked toward the Captain seat and sat down. "A busy flower."
Krillin sweat dropped. "So busy you can't be bothered to put on some clothes."
"Sheesh, what a piece of work that Bulma chick is," said Bickslow with a frown. "I don't envy the poor sucker who ends up marrying her."
Fried nodded. "Yes. You're right about that."
As Gohan and Krillin began to clean up the ship. Bulma began to speak.
"Hey."
Krillin gave her Captain his attention. "Yeah?"
"So, I have been kinda mulling this over for the past couple of days. That creepy Vegeta guy you all beat. Just where do you think he run off to?"
The mages frowned when they heard the evil Saiyan's name.
Krillin looked confused. "Uh, I don't know."
"It's just. I mean its not like he could have gone home. The Saiyan world doesn't exist anymore."
The mages began think. Bulma made a good point. Planet Vegeta was destroyed by that monster Frieza years ago.
Mira frowned softly. "I just hope they won't cross paths any time soon. Without Goku they won't be able to stand a chance against Vegeta."
Canna clenched her fists. "Yeah. You're right about that."
Krillin nodded. "That's true. Well, wherever he went. The guy took so much damage I'm sure he couldn't have gotten very far. I imagine he must have choose a place with the right technology to treat his wounds."
Elfman grinned. "All thanks to Gohan."
Mira and Lisanna nodded with a smile.
"Mmm. You remember what that weirdo who called himself Goku's brother said? You know about they basically wiping out a planet's entire population and sell the place lock stock and barrel to the highest bidder. I just wonder if the world Vegeta retreated to is one of their old renovation projects."
"Well, still. Let's just hope its far enough away from Earth that he ever decides to come back we got time to prepare. It took him so long to show up the first time. I'm sure its gotta be."
"Let's hope so buddy," said Gajeel with a frown.
Lisanna gained a sad look. "I'm just worried about what the storyteller said earlier. About them heading into danger. I just hope it isn't anything serious."
Mira could only nod at her sister's words.
Bulma frowned. "Why Earth had to attract the attention of a guy like that I never know. Creepy."
"Amen to that, sister," said Canna with an equal frown.
The screen suddenly began to show a different scene. Vegeta's spaceship flying through space.
"It's Vegeta," said Elfman with a frown.
"Oh, great," said Canna with a sigh. "Can't we skip this part Malia? I rather not react anymore to that bastard."
Malia chuckled. "Sorry. You just have put up with it for a while. Besides. If I skip this part. You will all miss on some crucial information."
The mages looked confused at first. But after a while they just shrugged their shoulders.
"18 long days have passed since Vegeta fled the Earth in shame."
The screen began to show a planet where Vegeta's pod was flying to. It then began to show some kind of funny looking building. Two men were playing what looked to be some kind of chess.
"Wow. Real life aliens," said Natsu with a grin. "So cool."
"That guy with the purple head looks weird though," said Gajeel a snicker.
"Gajeel kun," said Levi with a sigh. "Be nice."
"You got to admit he looks a bit creepy, Levi," said Lucy with a shiver. "I don't wanna meet that guy in an alley at night."
An alarm suddenly went off on the screen.
The man with blue hair walked toward a control mechanism.
"Tell me it's not Frieza," said the guy with the purple head confused.
"Couldn't be. He just departed," said the Blue-haired man with a frown.
"So we finally are going to see that Frieza guy again," said Gildarts with a stoic face. "The one who destroyed the Saiyan's homeworld."
"Yes. looks like it. We haven't reacted to him since we saw planet Vegeta," said Marakov with a thoughtful look. "Though, just that small reaction was enough to see that evil intensity behind that creature's eyes."
Wendy shivered. She still remembered the evil and cold look that Frieza guy had. He might be even more evil then Vegeta.
"The pod's round. That means a combatant," said the guy with the purple head.
"Hold on. The signal is coming from Vegeta."
"Vegeta," said the purple alien with a shocked look. "But how could it be? We never received word from his return before now."
"I doubt Vegeta is in any state to send messages right now," said Lucy with a sweat drop.
Erza chuckled. "Yes. I suppose so."
The man with blue hair began to speak through some kind of device that Levi found intriguing.
"Grand personal this is flight control. Vegeta's inbound. On your toes."
Outside at the landing bay. Three aliens were waiting for Vegeta's pod to land.
"Get ready," said the humanoid alien with blond hair.
"I only see a single craft. Where is Nappa?"
The mages frowned sadly. Even though Nappa was as evil as they come. He didn't deserve to get killed like that. Especially in such a backstabbing way. That was the reason they hated Vegeta so much. The betrayal of a comrade is something they hoped to never experience. The mages couldn't comprehend something like that happening to one of their own.
When Vegeta's pod landed. The aliens were waiting for the prince to come out. But after awhile... Nothing happened.
"Uh, Shouldn't he have stepped out of there by now," said the humanoid alien confused.
"Wait a minute this is bad," said the green short alien. "Look how low his power level is."
"What," said the third alien in shock.
When the aliens looked inside Vegeta's ship. They finally saw in what kind of condition the prince was.
"He has set the pod on autopilot."
"Oh no. We've gotta get him to sick bay immediately."
The mages gained a soft smile. Maybe the Frieza force had decent people after all.
The screen suddenly changed to a different chamber. There were all sort of different machinery in the room. And in the center of the room was a giant machine with a naked Vegeta in it.
"Dammm," thought Canna with a small blush.
The card mage shook her head from those thoughts. It didn't matter that Vegeta was hot. He was evil to the core. No way she would fall for a guy like that. She had standards.
"What kind of machine is that," said Happy curious.
"I don't know. But isn't he going to drown in that thing," said Elfman confused.
"That must be some kind of healing liquid," said Marakov with a thoughtful look.
"Healing liquid," said Lucy shocked. "Oh no. Does that mean he will recover faster than Krillin had thought?"
Gildarts frowned. "Most likely."
"I was afraid this would happen," said Mira with a sad look. "He can now go to Earth to take his revenge. And with Goku still recovering..."
Erza clenched her fists worry. "The Earth wouldn't stand a chance."
A small lizard type of alien with orange hair was observing Vegeta's recovery. The machine suddenly began to make beeping sound.
"Yes," said the small alien.
The liquid from the machine began to drain away. And the machine opened up.
"You healed up quite nicely, sir. I dare say."
The mages frowned when the Prince began to open his eyes and began to walk out of the machine.
"Unfortunately however I was unable to regrow your tail."
"Good," said Grey with a sigh. "At least he won't be able to turn into an Oozaru again."
The mages nodded.
"All in due time doctor," said Vegeta calmly.
The Saiyan Prince began to check out his healed body. He began to chuckle and smirked.
"He must have gotten stronger after getting healed from such serious injuries," said Laxus with a ticked off face. "No telling how high his power is now."
"Yeah. That's true. He might have already surpassed some of us," said Gajeel with a frown.
"Care to tell me what happend, Vegeta sir? By the looks of it. It appears someone put you through your paces. Considering the shape this suit is in its a wonder you return to us intact. The mind boggles at the thought of such force."
The mages chuckled at the doctor's words.
"Yeah. You can thank both Goku and Gohan, for that," said Evergreen with a grin.
Mira nodded with a smile.
"What it must have taken to leave such a fine piece like this in tatters. Do I speaK out of turn to suggest that planet Earth was more then you bargained for?"
Vegeta gained an angry look as images of his fight with Goku entered his mind.
The mages smirked.
"It's your own fault buddy. You have nobody but yourself to blame for your actions," said Natsu with a chuckle.
Everyone nodded at Natsu's words.
The doctor got scared when saw Vegeta's look.
"Where is Lord Frieza," asked the Prince.
"He uh. He departed not long ago."
"Grown tired of this planet already has he," said Vegeta with a frown.
"I wonder where that Frieza guy went of to," said Grey with a curious look.
They all shrugged their shoulders.
"Yes. Well. About that very thing. Cui has asked for your help. He would like a word with you, sir. In the training room."
"Cui, huh," said Lucy curiously. "Must be another soldier from the Frieza force."
"Yeah. Probably so," said Juvia.
"Is that a fact? Well you can tell that purple bastard the only word I have for him is no."
"Well. It looks like whoever this Cui is. Vegeta has no love for him," said Lisanna with a sweatdrop.
"What do you expect," said Canna with a snort. "Its Vegeta. And I bet that Cui guy thinks the same way about him."
Grey sighed. "Yep. Most likely."
"But he was most insistent."
The doctor suddenly noticed that Vegeta had forgotten his scouter.
"Sir, a moment please. You've accidentally left your scouter behind sir."
"Keep it. I have no use for it anymore."
The mages were shocked.
"Wait what? What does he mean by that," said Levi confused.
Gildarts frowned. "Vegeta might have learned to sense powers like Goku and his friends have."
"Damm, really? I know he's evil and all. But still. Being able to learn such a skill in such small amount of time. You gotta admit that's impressive," said Grey with an amazed look.
The mages couldn't deny that.
"I'll head back to Earth in the morning. And this time I won't go so easy on them," thought Vegeta as he was walking through the hallway.
"I knew it," said Canna with an angry look. "Of course he wouldn't change his mind of revenge."
The mages frowned angrily.
But Vegeta's next thoughts made the mages even more angrier.
"No. No before that I pay a visit to Namek."
"Dammit," said Gajeel. "That's even worse."
"No. Anything but that," said Mira with a scared look.
Marakov could only sigh sadly.
The mages suddenly heard a different voice on the screen. And damm. Was he ugly.
"Yo, Vegeta. Word is somebody we all know and love got their butt handed to them," said a purple alien with a chuckle. "Raditz and Nappa did even worse I hear. Now who could possibly give the Saiyans such a hard time? Aren't you suppose to be invincible?"
"We only just met this guy and already I hate his guts," said Gajeel with a snort.
Laxus sighed. "I guess that's the standard when it comes to those Frieza soldiers."
"Back off, Cui. If I intended to listen to such drivel I would have rung it out of you myself."
But Cui didn't listen to Vegeta. And when the Saiyan Prince passed him. He held his shoulder tightly.
"So that is Cui," said Levi with curious look.
Canna chuckled. "This Cui guy looks a lot like that fish we had for dinner earlier."
"Canna, please," said Mira with a sigh. "Don't be so judgemental on people based by their looks."
Canna blushed in embarrassment. "Sorry about that."
"Hold on there. Frieza wasn't pleased with your little stunt. Running off to Earth all on your own without permission."
"Too bad he isn't here to tell me that personally. Now unhand before I do something that will please him even less."
"There is some bad blood between those two," said Grey with a stoic look.
"Yeah, no kidding. Its almost like they want to kill each other," said Lisanna with a frown.
Cui let go of Vegeta's shoulder. Though the mages saw he was a bit annoyed by the action.
"Yes, well. Lucky for you Frieza's merciful. You're fluke has him feeling gracious. He's willing to let bygones be bygones on account of your find."
"What," said Vegeta confused.
The mages were confused as well. What was Cui talking about?
Cui smirked. "Why would he bother holding a silly grudge when he's finally got the prospect of eternal life at his reach."
Vegeta and the mages gasped at the news.
"Are you? Are you trying to tell me that Frieza is headed for planet Namek?"
"Of course. Where else," said Cui with a satisfying look.
"Oh no. This is horrible," said Wendy with a scared look.
Laxus nodded. "Vegeta being there was already bad enough. But now that Frieza guy too?"
"And don't forget. Frieza is supposed to be even stronger than Vegeta," said Gildarts with a frown.
"But how did that Frieza guy found out about Namek and the dragon balls in the first place," asked Elfman confused.
The mages didn't know that. But they soon found out the reason when they heard Vegeta's thoughts.
"I'm a fool. Frieza has been eavesdropping on the scouters. If I don't beat him to the punch I'll be that bastard's puppet for eternity."
Levi slapped her head at her own stupidity. "Of course. Vegeta must have let their scouters on when they went to Earth. No wonder Frieza knows about the dragon balls."
The mages frowned sadly. This didn't look good at all for Gohan and the others.
"Now don't tell me you were planning to keep the dragon balls all to yourself without letting the big man in on your secret. After all he's done for you? Oh, and I hate to dice your own dreams of immortality. But he's is planning to kill every Namekian when he's done," said Cui with a smirk.
The mages blood turned cold when they heard this.
"No. He wouldn't," said Lisanna with a tearful look.
"That bastard," said Natsu with a glare.
"THE HELL HE WILL," yelled Vegeta angrily.
The Prince ran toward his spaceship in a hurry.
"Hey. Get back here," said Cui annoyed.
While Vegeta was running through the hallway. He came to a complete stop when he saw the doctor from earlier with his scouter in his hand.
The prince grabbed the device in a hurry and continued his run.
"Give me that. Looks as though I'll be needing this absurd relic after all."
Levi frowned at Vegeta's words. "Absurd relic? Why that son of a bitch."
All of the mages chuckled at Levi's words.
Gajeel smirked however.
Vegeta jumped into his schip when he arrived. And not soon after it blasted into space. Just when Cui finally had caught up.
"VEGETA," yelled the purple alien angrily.
"I don't think he can hear you pal," said Gray with a sweat drop. "And even if he did. I doubt he would care."
"Aye," said Happy with a nod.
The image on the screen changed towards the hospital on Earth. The mages saw a blond nurse doing her rounds. The young girl stopped suddenly when she heard a noise coming from one of her patient's rooms.
"Oh no. Not again."
Everyone was confused what the woman was talking about. But they soon found what she meant when they saw the culprit behind those noises.
It was Goku. Covered from head to toe with bandages. He was lying on the floor while doing sit-ups without a care in the world.
All of the mages sighed at Goku's shenanigans. Except for Natsu and Elfman. They were grinning like crazy.
"What does that idiot thinks he's doing," said Lucy while slapping her head at Goku's behavior. "Doing sit-ups while he's that injured."
"He's going to hurt himself at this rate," said Mira worriedly.
"C'mon sis. No injury can keep Goku down. He's a real man."
"He's so cool," said Natsu with stars in his eyes.
Both Lisanna and Mira sweat dropped at their brother and Natsu's words.
Master Roshi was sitting on a chair while he was eating a cake. He looked to be following his pupil progress.
"Good. Now four more."
"You can't keep doing this," said the nurse who rushed into the room.
"Yes, please. Put some sense into that big lug's head," said Canna with a sigh.
Goku smiled goofily at the woman.
"Don't worry nurse lady. I'm all better now."
"Better my foot," thought Lucy with a sweat drop.
"Please, Goku. Get back into bed. You're still not healed yet," said Erza with a worried look.
Roshi suddenly stood next to the blond nurse.
"The boy always has been a fast healer."
The woman suddenly shrieked as she felt the old man was touching her behind. She quickly took a few steps away from the pervy old man.
Roshi chuckled perversely. "Oh. I'm sorry. Did that hand do something naughty to you? At my age, the darn thing has a mind of its own."
The female mages frowned at the old man's behavior.
The male mages sweat dropped at Roshi. Except for Marakov and Gildarts.
"Nice moves old man," thought the crash mage with a soft chuckle.
"Genius. I have to try that myself when we go back to Magnolia," thought Marakov with a perverted grin.
"I do not get paid enough for this," thought the young girl with a glare towards the old lech.
"Would you like to take a sponge bath… I mean cake," said Roshi with a grin.
"What a dirty old man," thought the nurse with an disgusting look.
"That poor woman," thought every female.
Goku however was not paying attention to his master's antics and continued his push-ups in high spirit. Though our hero stopped his routine when he heard the familiar voice of the doctor.
The nurse sighed in relief. "Oh, thank goodness."
"I'm a reasonable man. Must you try me? Goku listen to me. If you keep these shenanigans up you might as well move in."
"But I'm fine doc. Honest. See?"
Goku moved his free arm around. But he soon regret it when he flinched in pain.
Evergreen chuckled. "Sure you are."
"C'mon big lug. Listen to the old man and get back into bed," said Canna with a sigh.
"Maybe you can't appreciate the extend of your injuries but I can. Stop treating this place as a gym."
Goku sighed but eventually nodded. "Okay doctor."
The mages smiled at Goku's decision.
"I know it's hard my boy. But hang in there. You'll be out of there before you know it. Korin will have those Senzi beans ready in no time," said Marakov with a grandfatherly smile.
Laxus chuckled. "They are called senzu beans gramps."
"Oh… Right," said Marakov with an embarrassed chuckle.
The doctor gave Roshi a look. "C'mon grandpa happy hands. Help him up."
The mages laughed at Roshi's predicament.
"Grandpa happy hands," said the old man with an offended look. "Some bedside manners you have."
"I couldn't have said it better myself," said Lucy with a chuckle.
Canna smirked. "That's what you get for being a perv."
As Roshi and the nurse helped Goku back into bed. The doctor spoke.
"Might I know where this man's wife has gone?"
"Uh. She stepped outside to get some fresh air before you came in."
The screen changed towards Chichi. Who was watching into the sky with a worried look.
The mages frowned sadly at the woman. They all had a good idea what she was thinking about.
"Gohan, mommy is worried about her little boy. You promised you'd write. Is one letter a day to much to ask?"
"And how is he supposed to write you a letter from space," said Lucy with a sweat drop.
"She is just worried about her son, Lucy. You can't blame her for wanting to know how he's doing."
Lucy sighed but nodded. "Yeah I guess you're right."
"Oh whatever. Just come back to me soon. Safe and sound," said Chichi with a loving smile.
The mages couldn't help but smile themselves at Chichi's caring nature.
The screen started to change towards Kami's ship. And the mages saw that it arrived at a beautiful green planet.
They could hear the storyteller on the background.
"Thirty four days after leaving behind the comforts of home. Bulma, Krillin and Gohan have reached their destination. Planet Namek. Fabled home of the Dragon balls."
"So that is Namek," said Wendy with a grin. "It's so beautiful."
Charla nodded. "I agree with you child."
"Take a look fellas. There it is," said Bulma with a grin.
"Beautiful," said Gohan with a smile.
"Wow, so that is Namek," said Krillin a bit excited.
"Be careful you three," thought Marakov worriedly. "There is a lot of danger waiting for you on Namek. Keep yourselves safe."
"No doubt about it. The computer confirms it as the bonafide birthplace of Kami and Piccolo," said Bulma with a smile.
"We got here right on schedule didn't we," asked Gohan.
"Pretty impressive spaceship wouldn't you say?"
"It didn't fly itself. We had a good captain," said Krillin towards Bulma.
Levi nodded. "That's true. Without Bulma's help I doubt they would have arrived on Namek safely."
"True enough," said Bickslow. "Even though that Bulma chick is kind of crazy."
The mages couldn't help but Chuckle at that.
Bulma grinned. "Oh please. You just saying that because it's absolutely true. Now buckle up so I can land this puppy."
After putting on their seatbelts. And after overcoming some turbulence. Our heroes had finally landed on Namek. But they soon found out not everything was all sunshine and rainbows. Especially when they saw Vegeta's pod into the air. Not to mention another ship that soon followed.
But the worst thing that happened was seeing their schip getting blasted by a pair of Frieza soldiers.
They were stuck. Unable to leave the planet whatsoever.
The mages could only look on sadly. What could Gohan and the others possibly do now?
Krillin and Gohan however responded in kind. They beat the hell out of those soldiers who dared to destroy their ship.
"Yeah. Way to go," said Grey with a grin.
"Those two really are something else," said Laxus with an approved look.
"THEY ARE REAL MEN!"
"It's hopeless," said Bulma with tears in her eyes. "I'll never get back. I'm stuck on this heap for the rest of my life."
"C'mon Bulma. Don't be like that. Let's just focus on getting away from here and finding someplace safe before somebody else shows up, okay?"
Gohan nodded. "Yeah, Krillin's right. Those two weren't alone. There's more of them out there. And if they are friends of Vegeta. I don't think we wanna be here to meet them."
"You don't have to worry about Vegeta being friends with those aliens, little buddy. Right now, Vegeta sees any Frieza soldier as his enemy," said Grey with a snort.
Juvia nodded. "Yes, that's true. But the fact that they should leave and find a safer place to hide is probably a good idea. Vegeta might not work for the Frieza force anymore. But if he finds them. He probably won't show them any mercy."
"Yeah, you're probably right about that," said Grey with a frown.
"This is just a minor setback," said Krillin with a smile.
Gohan grinned. "That thing was build here. I bet the Namekians will fix it for us if we ask them."
"Yeah. Good idea Gohan. That's should probably be your first course of action. That and finding the dragon balls. Or at least one of them so that Vegeta and that Frieza dude won't be able to make a wish."
all of the mages looked surprised at Natsu's words.
"What? Did I say something wrong?"
Grey chuckled. "No flame brain. It's a really good idea. We're just surprised it's coming from you."
Erza smiled proudly. "It's a very good plan. I'm very impressed by your idea, Natsu."
Natsu chuckled in embarrassment.
Bulma frowned sadly. "Yeah, well. What if we can't find them?"
Some of the more clueless mages wonderd that too. How were they supposed to find those Namekians in the first place?
Bulma does have point, said Elfman with a thoughtful look.
Mira sighed. "Brother. Have you already forgotten how Krillin and Gohan are able to sense energy?"
"Oh, right," said Elfman with an embarrassed look.
The screen suddenly started show Vegeta. Who had a smirk on his face.
"Heh. So you did come? not to smart."
The mages were confused at first. But they soon found out who Vegeta was talking to.
Cui suddenly appeared on the screen. He was rushing at Vegeta with an evil glint in his eyes.
"Well, that explains who that other ship belonged to," said Lucy with a frown. "Cui must have gotten orders to take Vegeta down."
"Yeah. And by the look on his face. He's absolutely thrilled," said Gildarts with a stoic look.
Vegeta dodged Cui's attack as a huge explosion occurred where the prince once stood. The purple alien smirked as he turned around.
"Oh, this is so refreshing. You have no idea how long I have been looking forward to this day. Now. What do you say we finally settle the score between us like we were meant to. That is, if you're feeling up to it?"
Vegeta chuckled. "As we were meant, you say? Yes, I do believe I'm feeling up to it. In fact, this is the perfect time to showcase a few new tricks I learned on Earth."
"So he did learn something when he fought Goku and the others," said Wendy with a thoughtful look. "Must be that energy sensing thing."
"Yeah. But I bet that's not the only thing he has learned," said Gajeel with a snort.
"You think he has learned to do the Kamehameha," said Elfman curiously.
"Nah, I doubt it," said Canna with a frown. "Vegeta probably thinks that learning Goku's signature technique is beneath him."
"What tricks," said Cui with a chuckle. "Like running away? I really don't see anything new about that."
Vegeta smirked. "I learned how to conceal my power."
The mages were shocked. Vegeta was able to learn such a difficult skill just like that? What kind of genius was he?
"Damm. I say it again. Vegeta is one bad dude. But man... That guy is talented as hell," said Grey with an amazed look.
"Yeah. No kidding," said Gajeel with a nervous look.
The prince began to showcase his new strength by powering up.
"What was it again you'd said about my power level bringing yours to shame," asked Vegeta with a taunting look.
Cui eyes widened in shock as he saw Vegeta's power go up.
"But how? The two of us have always been on par with each other."
Vegeta snorted. "Imbecile. My body has been subjected to combat situations you could only dream of. The battle on Earth nearly claimed my life. Do you really think I'll be on par with someone content to hide behind Frieza his whole career?"
Canna sighed. "Well, even though I hate the guy. He does have a point. Vegeta must have been fighting on the frontlines for a while now. It's no wonder he got so strong."
Erza nodded. "Yeah, and his last battle on Earth must have increased his power by a huge margain."
Cui gained a scared look as he saw the numbers of Vegeta's new strength.
"Nineteen! No twenty! No twenty-one!Twenty-two thousand!"
The scouter exploded in Cui's face.
"Impressive. To think he was able gain such a huge increase in power," said Marakov with an impressive look.
The master of Fairy Tail still didn't like Vegeta as a person. But he at least respected the Prince skills.
"Wait," said Cui scared. "Just hear me out, okay? I had the craziest idea. What do you say me and you team up? We can take on Frieza. I mean... I don't like the guy. I never liked the guy. I was just following orders."
"Yeah. Sure you did," said Gajeel with a snort. "I don't believe a thing he's saying. He must be tricking Vegeta like Raditz did with Goku on Earth."
Gildarts nodded. "Yeah. You're probably right. The guy's face was full of evil intent earlier."
"C'mon Vegeta. Think. We can have the whole ball of wax all to ourselves, man. We can start right now with Zarbon and Dodoria and just work our way up."
The mages were confused. Who were Zarbon and Dodoria?
"Spare me this pathetic display and scround up some dignity before you die," said Vegeta with a glare.
"Just trust me. Please..."
Cui suddenly gained a relieved look on his face as he looked behind the Prince.
"Ah. My lord. Finally."
Vegeta looked behind him in surprise. "What?"
But when the Prince turned his head. The mages frowned as Cui's face gained a smirk. The purple alien charged up a red energy ball and released a volley of ki blasts towards Vegeta when his guard was down.
"Made you look," said Cui with a satisfying look.
After the volley of ki blasts were launched, Cui charged up a huge red Ki blast as a finisher and launched it at the huge explosion he was responsible for.
When the huge blast made impact, it created an even bigger explosion that could be seen from miles away.
The mages frowned at the purple alien. "What a coward," they all thought.
Cui laughed when he saw no trace of Vegeta. "I can't believe you actually fell for that old gag. Fatt load of good all of that power did for ya at the moment of truth, huh?"
But Cui and even the mages were shocked when they heard Vegeta's voice from behind our purple friend.
"Really? So that was it, then? I have to say. Even for you, that was a pretty dismal move."
"Wow? He survived that at blank range," said Lucy surprised.
Canna frowned as she turned her head to the side. "Big deal," thought the card mage. "He might be strong. But he's still a creep."
Though if you looked closely at the mage cheeks, you could see a small hint of pink.
"No. No it can't be," said Cui with a horrified look.
"If there was a brain inside of that head of yours. You might have realized that my speed has increased as well. Which means that, unfortunately for you, that little ruse only exceeded in pissing me off."
The purple alien tried to run away in fright. But Vegeta was in no mood to let Cui go. With no trouble at all he was able to overtake him. He smirked as appeared before Cui. The Prince gave a devastating punch to our purple friend.
"Goodbye."
And with a single movement of his two fingers he made Cui explode. There was no trace of guy left.
Vegeta chuckled. "Cui I'm afraid you're fired."
The mages didn't react negatively towards Vegeta actions this time. They knew that Cui was a bad guy. Though they still didn't like Vegeta in general. He himself had done a lot of bad things.
The screen suddenly changed towards a purple fat alien who had a worried look on his face. And the mages finally saw Frieza again.
"Hey, it's that Frieza guy," said Natsu with a frown.
Wendy shivered in fright when she saw the evil space Emperor again. Those eyes were so full of malice. She never met anyone who had such an evil look in his eyes.
"Turns out this thing wasn't malfunctioning after all. The reading it gave for Vegeta was accurate. It just beat Cui like it was nothing," said the fat alien a bit scared."
Frieza sighed. "Even so it's no real concern. For now let's just focus on finding the fifth Dragon ball."
"They have four already," said Levi surprised. "Damm. That's not good at all."
"Yes, but how did they found those Dragon balls so fast in the first place?"
Lucy gained a sad look. "Those Dragon balls must have been guarded by a Namekian village. They must have used their scouters to track them down."
"What happened to those poor Namekians," asked Wendy a bit terrified by the answer.
Erza clenched her fist harshly. "I guess they must have killed them."
Everyone glared at the screen. What the hell was wrong with these aliens? Why would they kill innocent people just to get some wish? What kind of messed up loonatics were those Frieza soldiers?
A Frieza soldier pointed towards a random location.
"I'm picking up 10 Namekians my lord somewhere in that direction."
Frieza smiled. "Well that's perfect timing. And wouldn't it be nice if they just happened to have the fifth dragon ball on hand."
The mages glared at the evil Emperor's words.
"Let's go see but stay vigilant. We now know Vegeta isn't the only pest crawling around on this planet."
"Sir," said the soldiers.
Frieza smirked. "Let the games continue."
The group of evil aliens power up and flew with incredible speed towards the direction the purple soldier had pointed had earlier.
"I beginning to think that every alien in that army are sick in the head," said Laxus with a disgusted look.
Everyone nodded at the lightning mage's words.
The screen changed back to our heroes. The three were both walking to find a hidingspot.
"C'mon Bulma. You've got to pick up the pace a little bit. We're sitting ducks out in the open like this."
"Can't you both just carry me and fly? I mean, my feet are killing me here," said the woman with a tired look.
Gohan frowned sadly. "Believe me. We love to help you. But Krillin and I have to stay on foot to keep our energy hidden."
Gildarts nodded at that. "Indeed. And flying will also make them easier targets to spot."
"Yes," said Marakov with a smile. "It was a good idea of them. For now, their first priority is finding a new hiding place. And try to get in contact with Earth somehow."
"Yeah, they really need backup. And a new ship to get off that planet when it gets to rough," said Evergreen with worried look.
Mira frowned. "And just as Natsu said earlier. They also need to somehow find a dragon ball. To make sure that Frieza and Vegeta won't be able to make a wish."
Everyone nodded.
"But how would they do that," said Lisanna worriedly. "With them not only outnumbered but overpowered as well. It seems hopeless."
"The only thing we can do is to keep watching," said Erza with a sad sigh.
Krillin suddenly pointed at something. "Hey check it out. There's a perfect spot for us to hide. Just a few more steps up the hill."
Bulma sighed sadly when saw the place Krillin was pointing to.
"Oh great. So I can just spend all of my days as a cavedweller now."
"Better than being killed, Bulma," said Mira with a sweat drop.
"Yeah, you have a point," said Lucy with a chuckle. "Though I can understand Bulma in someway. I wouldn't like to spend the rest of my life in a cave."
Natsu frowned. "Really? What if it is with me?"
Lucy smiled. "I love you Natsu. No matter were we live. But a cave is were I draw the line."
Natsu chuckled. "Okay. I guess you're right about that."
"Moron," thought Gray with a sigh.
Gohan suddenly spoke. "Krillin. You feel any power coming from over there?"
The monk nodded. "I do. But it's different. It doesn't feel like the ones from before. Maybe this time it really will be Namek…."
Krillin suddenly stopped mid sentence when he felt different ki signatures coming their way.
"Take cover. There's someone else coming at us from that direction."
Both Krillin and Gohan quickly went inside the cave to hide. The bald monk told Bulma to do the same.
"Do you think its Frieza and his soldiers," asked Happy with a scared look.
Natsu patted his friend on the head to keep him calm.
"Yeah. My gut tells me it is."
"They're heading this way," said Krillin with a frown.
"I don't like this," said Gohan a bit worried. "You think they're searching for us?"
"Possible," said Krillin while clenching his fists.
It didn't took long for the Frieza force to arrive at their location. But instead of stopping. The group of aliens continued their flight and passed by our heroes with incredible speed.
"Well, at least they didn't found them," said Mira with a relieved look.
"Yeah. But for how long are they going to keep this up," said Lisanna worriedly.
"As long as they don't do anything stupid like following them they will be fine," said Gajeel.
"OK, crisis averted. Whatever they're on the prawl for. I guess it's safe to say it's not us. Thank our lucky stars. But then what do you think that was all about just now?"
Bulma looked confused at Krillin and Gohan's scared faces.
"Did I miss something? What's with the look?"
"They must have felt their enemies strength," said Marakov with a sad look. "Poor boys are looking terrified beyond belief."
Mira frowned sadly. "Poor Gohan and Krillin."
When Krillin was able to catch his breath, he spoke. "Bulma. I need you to check the dragon radar again."
The woman nodded and began to check the device. What she saw made her eyes widen. Those four dragon balls they saw earlier were moving. They figured out that those aliens from before must have been carrying them.
"Gohan," said Krillin towards the still frightening boy.
The boy didn't respond at first. But when Krillin repeated his name. The boy immediately came out his shock and gave the monk his full attention.
"What is it?"
"Did you see the one flying second from the front? More importantly did you sense him," asked Krillin with a frown.
Gohan clenched his fists. "Yeah," said the boy with a nod. "I did. And his power is unbelievable."
"I know. The moment I saw him my heart sank." Krillin swallowed nervously. "I think… I think whoever were dealing with here outranks Vegeta by a long shot. His buddies all look like they could do ugly with the best of them too, but… There's no doubt in my mind that one's the boss."
"Frieza is that powerful, huh? I wonder by how much," said Grey with a thoughtful look.
"Do you that Frieza guy is stronger than you, Gildarts," asked Gajeel.
The crash mage frowned. "Who knows. It's hard to say without seeing him fight in person. But as long he doesn't exceed Vegeta's speed when he transformed on Earth. I think I'm able to beat him. Or at least stall him long enough to find some weakpoint."
"Seriously? Vegeta? Someone worse than Vegeta," said Bulma who was freaking out.
"A whole lot worse," said Krillin with a frown. "I think his minions are like Vegeta's fellow officers. They all wore the same stupid-looking uniform. Dammit," said the monk in frustration. "This is impossible. How are we suppose to get the dragon balls away from a crew like that?"
All the mages looked on worriedly. They all were in quite the predicament.
Bulma suddenly said that those aliens from before were headed to another dragon ball. And they soon found out they were heading towards those energy signals they sensed earlier.
When Krillin and Gohan decided to take a slapped his head at their stupidity.
"Of course they would go after them. Honestly, those morons. If they get caught it's over for them."
Marakov frowned. "I'm afraid they don't have a choice. They don't know what kind of tricks their enemies have up their sleeves. So they must want gather as much Intel as they can."
"And they are probably also worried about those poor Namekians," said Mira with a soft smile.
Bulma however wasn't actually thrilled to be left alone.
"Hey. You can't just take off. I will all be by myself in an alien wilderness."
"Look, make the most of it. You'll be way safer here than where we headed."
Every mage nodded at Krillin's words. Bulma going with them was a no go. She would probably be a lot safer at their hideout.
"Fine," said Bulma annoyed. "But that doesn't mean I like it."
Krillin smiled and nodded. "Okay. We'll be back soon."
"Don't you dare forget about me."
The male mages swallowed nervously at Bulma's tone.
Yep. That chick scared the crap out of them.
Krillin looked at Gohan.
"Alright little man. Go ahead and surpress your powers so they don't see u coming. We'll head out. Can you do that?"
"Yeah," said the boy with a determined look.
The mages smiled at the brave little boy's determination.
"Oh, Gohan," said Mira with a smile. "You're such a brave little boy. It's hard to believe that he's the same scared and sheltered boy we all saw in the beginning."
Lucy nodded. "Yes. He has come a long way."
The two dashed towards their objective with incredible speed. And they soon were out of sight.
Bulma sighed. "And away they go. I sure hope they have some kind of plan."
The young woman suddenly realized she had forgotten something.
"Oh, wait. I gotta call home and tell everyone what's going on."
The mages nodded. That was a good call. They needed reinforcements. In other words. They needed Goku.
The screen changed back to Earth. Goku just had received news about Gohan and the others from Roshi. "Really," said the Saiyan from Earth with a smile. "So then Gohan and the others made it there okay?"
Roshi nodded. "Yes. The journey there was smooth sailing the whole way. But," said the elder with slight hesitation. "As it turns out they aren't alone. In fact, the place is kind of popular. That last Saiyan you fought, Vegeta. He has showed up as well."
Goku was shocked. "Vegeta? Are you kidding me?"
"This isn't good. I had hoped that Goku would have healed by now," said Erza with a worried look.
"Yeah. Me too. He really needs those Senzu beans and get out of that hospital immediately," said Lucy while clenching her fists. "His friends needs him."
Roshi wasn't done however. "Hold on it gets worse. A whole gang of brutes just like him showed up and blasted Kami's ship. They're stranded. Bulma tells me there's over a dozen of these Vegeta knock-outs on the planet. Each one stronger than the next."
"Wait, and they're stuck there," said Goku worried.
"Afraid so. And the ringleader of the bunch apparently has a power level so massive he makes the rest look tame."
Goku couldn't believe what he was hearing. "So you're telling me…. You're saying that there's someone stronger than Vegeta?"
Some of the mages looked worried.
"Goku must be feeling useless a scared right now," said Wendy sadly.
Gajeel snorted. "Useless, maybe. Since he's stuck in that stupid hospital. But scared." Gajeel smirked. "I say he's more excited than anything else."
Most of the mages suddenly sweat dropped. Yeah. That sounded like Goku alright.
Natsu grinned. "He isn't the only one. I'm getting excited too. I wanna fight you next Erza after the break."
Grey looked at Natsu like he was crazy.
"Are stupid flamebrain? You just got you ass kicked by Gildarts. And now you wanna fight Erza of all people?"
"Shut up ice pop. My fight with Gildarts was a very close one. I didn't get beaten as easily compare to when I was a kid. And Erza is the strongest after both Gildarts and Laxus."
"What about Master Marakov," said Elfman confused.
"Nah, gramps is way beyond fighting at his age. Besides, I don't want to hurt our father figure. I love him to much for that," said Natsu with a grin.
Marakov looked like he was going to scold Natsu at first. But when he heard the last sentence he smiled softly. "Heh. Cheeky brat."
Erza thought for a bit and smiled. "Very well Natsu. After the video and our break we will have a sparring session. But we will not go all out. Otherwise you'll get carried away and begin destroying stuff like you and Gildarts did earlier."
Both Natsu and Gildarts chuckled nervously. Yeah. They sure wrecked the place. And Malia had given them an earful afterwards.
"Okay. That's fine with me," said Natsu with a smile.
They all returned their attention to the screen.
Yajirobe suddenly entered the hospital room.
"Hey, you're not dead yet. Sheesh what's with the long faces? Anyway…. The senzu beans are ready but there's only a few. Seven to be exact. Korin told me to give them to you. So here I am being your personal delivery boy."
The mages couldn't help but let out a cheer.
"Yes. Finally. He's able to get out of those bandages and that hospital gown," said Canna with a smile.
Lisanna chuckled. "I think Yajirobe came at the right time. Any longer and think Goku might have forced himself out hospital. Healed or not."
Lucy sweat dropped. "Yep. That sounds like something he would do."
Goku was overjoyed. "Great. And your timing couldn't be any better. Toss one over so I can eat one."
But the doctor who was standing close by was against the idea.
"See here. I can't just let you feed my patient whatever he wants."
But Yajirobe ignored the doctor and flicked a bean at Goku. Who caught it in his mouth. He began to chew the small bean and swallowed it with gutso. Not soon after Goku grinned. He leaped out of the hospital bed doing a graceful summersault in the process. And with no effort at all he broke free from the plaster, good as new.
"Yes, he's finally healed," said Wendy with a smile.
The girls however began to blush when Goku suddenly took off his hospital clothes without warning. And stood there in nothing but his boxers.
"Man, I've been wanting to tear out of this hospital getup like nobody's business."
"That idiot," said Lucy while averting her red face from the screen. "Can't he warn us before he does that."
Canna smirked. "Hey I don't mind at all. I love to see some eye-candy."
Erza held her hands in front of her red face. But peeked between two fingers. "Oh God. Those abs," thought the red-haired girl while biting her lip. Her face was getting redder by the minute. "You can grind meat on those."
Elfman smirked as he took of his shirt and began stretching his muscles. "Goku's physic is that of a real man. But mine are greater."
"Brother please," said Mira with an embarrassed look. "Restrain yourself."
"Put your shirt back on this instant Elfman," said Evergreen with a glare. "Those muscles are only for my eyes."
"Yeah. And you can't just take off you clothes like that. We already have a stripper. We don't need another," said Natsu while pointing at his rival.
Grey nodded at first. "Damm straight. Hey what do you mean by that flamebrain. You wanna fight?"
"Enough all of you," said Laxus with an annoyed look. He was getting a headache from his fellow mages.
On the screen Goku had finally changed back into his fighting gi.
"Nice. Now I guess I'm ready to get to planet Namek. And I better take the rest of the senzu beans with me. Just to be safe."
"Not to rain on your parade. But how are you planning to get to planet Namek," asked Roshi confused.
Levi was confused. Did Goku had another plan to get to Namek? But how? There were no more ships. Both Nappa and Raditz's ship were broken beyond repair.
"Oh that," said Goku with a smile. "When Bulma's dad came to visit me I asked him to build another spaceship incase something like this came up. He's had a whole week. So he's probably finished by now."
"Bulma's dad made him a ship? But how? I doubt those materials that Kami's ship was build off could be found on Earth. And the ships of those two Saiyans are destroyed," said Levi even more confused.
"I'm completely lost as well," said Lucy while scratching her head.
"Wait? Hold on. He said he could build another ship like Kami's," said Yajirobe surprised.
Goku shook his head. "No. That one was build out of stuff that you can't get here on Earth. So I doubt even that someone as smart as Bulma's dad can pull that off."
Erza tilted her head in confusion. "I really want to find out the answer myself. But I'm at a loss."
Natsu frowned. He was thinking hard about it. "Think brain. Think. If those ships are destroyed and they don't have the materials to build a ship like Kami's. Then what else is there…."
Suddenly Natsu's eyes widened. "OF COURSE. THAT'S IT. THAT'S THE ANSWER."
The mages were shocked at Natsu's outburst.
"Wait? You figured it out," said Lucy surprised.
Natsu nodded. "Yeah. We all have forgotten one important detail. There is still one more ship out there."
All of the mages were confused. But Levi's eyes suddenly widened also. She slapped her head multiple times.
"Dammit of course. I can't believe I forgot something so important. I'm such an idiot."
"So, how," said Roshi confused.
Goku put on foot on the window's edge.
"Well, see. I thought about it real hard. And I realized that there were at least two other alien spaceships on this planet besides the one Kami came in. There's the pod my brother took to get here so he could try to find me and get the place ready for his pals. And there is the one I was found in."
The mages couldn't help but feel dumbfounded. How the heck did they forgot about Goku's ship?
"I can't believe we forgot about something so important," said Charla with a sigh.
"What I can't believe is that Natsu figured it all out before any of us," said Grey annoyed.
Erza smiled at the dragon slayer. And hugged her little brother. "Oh Natsu. I'm so proud by how far you have come."
Natsu blushed in embarasment. "Hehe, thanks I guess."
Roshi smiled at his student. "Ah. Of course."
"My brother's ship got blown up pretty bad when we were fighting him. But Bulma's dad tracked down my old ship. And it turns out it was still in decent shape. He said it needed a few repairs before it could fly again. But he thought he could do it. He even said he'll put in some extras for me."
"Well, that's good news. If Bulma's dad said he could fix it. Then I'm sure everything will turn out alright," said Levi with a smile.
"Yeah. But I wonder what those extras are that Goku was talking about," said Bickslow curiously.
Freed shrugged his shoulders. "I guess we will find out soon enough."
Goku yelled his Nimbus cloud as he looked one more time at his friends.
He gave a thumbs up. "Okay, wish me luck guys."
The doctor, nurse, and other patients were terrified when Goku jumped off the edge. But their were shocked when he landed on a yellow flying cloud.
Goku laughed happily as he told his friend to take him to Bulma's house.
The mages smiled at Goku's behavior.
"He's such a child," thought Lucy with a sigh.
"So what is the big hurry all of a sudden," asked Yajirobe curiously.
"Wel, you see…" Roshi began to Yajirobe what happened on Namek.
"Huh? But if he's up against something like that what the hell does he has a smile on his face for? Is he nuts?"
Roshi frowned. "Must be that Saiyan blood coursing through his veins. I mean helping his friends has always been his first concern. But he's also always seem to get a thrill out of the challenge of facing a powerful opponent."
The mages sweat dropped. Yep. That sounds alright. Natsu was the same. However, Natsu probably just want to beat people up to show he was not to be messed with.
"That Goku," said Yajirobe with a stunned look. "I just can't get my head around the way he thinks. The guy is crazy for sure."
"More like brave," said Erza with small blush.
The girls giggled at Erza's words.
Canna and surprisingly Mira gained a small blush as well.
The screen changed towards Goku who had a big smile on his face.
"I can't believe it. There is actually someone stronger than the toughest enemy I ever faced."
The mages could hear the storyteller in the background. Which saddened them since they knew it meant it was time to take a break.
"Ominous clouds hang low over the peaceful planet Namek. Will Vegeta successfully thwart Frieza's dark desires and win immortality for himself. Or will this chilly tyrant continue to carve a path of destruction towards his goal unabated? One thing is certain. A battle like no other awaits Goku. Next time."
"Oh, I'm getting so pumped," said Natsu with a grin. "I really want to see Goku kick some alien ass."
"Language, Natsu," said Erza small glare.
"Oh, right. Sorry."
"But does Goku actually stand a chance against those other aliens? Sure he might have gotten a zenkai from taking that senzu bean. But still," said Juvia worriedly. "I doubt that would be enough."
"Yes, I'm afraid you're right. He really needs to do some serious training before he face both Frieza and Vegeta," said Gajeel with a click of his tongue.
Malia chuckled on the inside. "Well that's enough for now. You will all react again when your next brake is over. And remember Natsu. Don't brake anything again when you are fighting Erza." Natsu nodded nervously. "Yeah. Don't worry. I won't." They all stood up and walked towards the dining hall to get some food and maybe get some rest.
