To make up for my previous procrastination, here's the last chapter. But don't worry, I'm currently writing spinoff stories.
For those waiting for more Flash characters since this crossover has been mostly Spider-Man related, here we are!
Final Epilogue and Chapter: Peter-4
Central City, Earth-1
Peter-4 reappeared back on Earth-1, but not in the living room of his condo. Instead he finds himself in a familiar dining room. After a few seconds, he realizes where he is.
This is Joe's house. Why did I end up here? He thought.
"IRIS, C'MON! This brunch reservation ain't gonna get any later!" Yelled the familiar voice of the home's owner, Joe West, from the foyer.
Peter runs in to see Joe with Cecile, Barry, and his wife Crystal Frost.
"Frost! I'm back! I'm back from the universe you went to. Boy was it strange and not just-" Peter exclaimed.
"Joe, don't worry. I'll make sure we're on time." Barry said to Joe
"Uh, rude. I was talking there, Barry. So-"
"After surviving Armageddon, we deserve this." Barry said.
""Armageddon?" Did I miss something while I was gone? My departure should have been instantaneous, like it was for you-" he says as he points to Frost and notices something about her. "Why don't you look pregnant? Frost, where's our baby?!" He cries out.
"You guys got any resolutions for 2022?" Asked an African American, bespectacled man in his 20s or 30s, standing by the stairs next to a Latina woman, also in her 20s or 30s, that Peter didn't notice at first. No one looks at Peter or responds to him.
"Who the hell are you two? Wait, did you say "2022?" Did Strange and Peter-1 send me back five years in the past?"
"I decided to forgive Mark for all of his…crime things." Frost replied to the African American and not to Peter.
"Who the hell is Mark?!"
The others around the room look at Frost with surprise.
"What? He's turned over a new leaf. And I made him swear to stay on the straight and narrow."
"Why is everyone ignoring me?"
"Anybody know anything about Caity's new boyfriend, Marcus? Anybody met him or-?"
That sentence alone hit Peter like a ton of bricks.
""New boyfriend?"" He said in shock.
Just then Iris West walks down the stairs.
"No, I hear he's really cute." Cecile responded to Frost.
"Why is everyone ignoring me!?" He asks again in anger and depression, as he walks between the circle of his friends and wife and waves his hands in their faces to get them to notice him.
"I have a resolution, actually: party less." Said the Latina woman as she rubs her temple, hoping it would ease her hangover.
"Please tell me you can all see and hear me?!"
"I know mine: more family time." Iris replies as Barry helps her put her coat on.
"That sounds like a perfect year." Barry replies to her, in a tone like he was in love with her that filled Peter with dread. Somehow, West-Allen was back.
"Guys, where are Patty and Eddie? Where are Frankie, Miles, Harry, May and the kids?" It then dawns on him. "I'm in the wrong universe. I'm in a universe where Barry and Iris are still together and Caitlin and Frost aren't married to me! Oh, I'm going to go back to that other universe and kick the asses of Strange and Peter-1!" He exclaims in anger. "But, why am I invisible and no one can hear me?" He asks before going over to the window, hoping a knocking noise or interacting with his environment will get their attention. It doesn't.
"Alright, people, let's hurry it up. Look at the face, Joe's getting hangry." Cecile told them.
"Ok, everybody; hold hands, bundle up. It's chilly in Paris." Barry told the group, minus Peter.
""Paris?" "Brunch?" We did this then, but it was different." Peter said, mostly to himself.
After Cecile squealed with joy and Iris giggled. Barry sped the group away. After a few seconds, Peter found himself forced against the front door, like he was pulled by some invisible force.
"What the-" he exclaimed, stuck against the door.
He then noticed that a hairbrush on the living room tables vanishes in a green glow.
"The hell is going on around here?" He exclaimed.
Before he can think or do anything else, he slowly and painfully phases through the door. He then continues to be pulled at super speed and through other objects. It soon dawns on him that somehow, he is following his friends and wife to Paris. As he phases through a building for the 20th time, a thought enters Peter's brain that fills him with dread: Am I dead? Is this my hell?
The African American and Latina are indeed Chester P. Runk and Allegra Garcia, but Peter doesn't know that because he's never met them. Team SpiderFlash don't meet them in "What If Universe's," stories until "Next Generation: Book 4 of the Spiderverse," which is set around 2036.
As you can tell I used the epilogue of The Flash, Season 8, Episode 6. And no, I didn't make a mistake, Peter-4 is wrong and is on Earth-1. To find out what happened, this story will be continued in:
"The Speedster and the Spider!"
