Fifteen year old Jack Wilson is sitting in his cell at Bell Reve penitentiary the place where he's resided for the last year. Jack is currently meditating he started doing it when he arrived here at the penitentiary it helps him stay calm and balanced instead of being angry and full of rage. It also helps him along with other things not be the person he use to be it helps him to try and be a better person than what he was.
Jack senses a presence behind him he knows exactly who it is and he doesn't like her and he's guessing not many people do she's not exactly a people person her names Amanda Waller.
Jack disinterestedly says "what do you want Waller whatever it is I'm most likely not interested".
Waller laughs and says well if I was you Jack I would be interested because there's a chance for you to get out of here".
Jack laughs back at her and says "well if it's working for you I'm certainly not interested I'd rather rot in hell for a life time".
Waller with poison in her voice " oh it's not even working for me you little brat and it doesn't have anything to do with me"
"It seems like a few people influential people think you deserve a second chance.
" I don't know why they do but they've pulled a lot of strings and called in favours to get you out of here".
Jack stands up and he turns to face Waller and he cockily says "and who might that be Waller".
Waller says "I can't believe I'm saying this and I don't know why they are doing this".
"or why they think you deserve a second chance to make up for your mistakes. But it's Superman, Batman and the green arrow who have pulled these strings".
Jacks absolutely shocked by this he can't believe it three superheroes want his help and are giving him a shot at redemption. He's also shocked considering he fought against Green arrow and Batman back when he was his father's apprentice and protege.
Jack who can't fully hide the shock in his voice "what's the mission what do they want and why me".
Waller says "I don't know what the mission is and I don't know why they want you. As I said All I know is that they think you deserve a second chance".
"It's a simple Yes or no if you say yes you will be taken to there current location.
"You will then be put into there custody you will be there responsibility. If you say no you stay here and rot for the rest of your days"
Jack thinks to himself so either stay here and rot for the rest of my life or take a leap of faith by going straight and taking three Hero's up on there deal.
Jack then says "yes tell them they have a deal I'll assist them and do what they want"
Waller smiles and says "I'll let them know and get things organised you should be out of here in a couple of hours once I make the arrangements for your transportation".
She goes to walk away but then she turns around and she says with plenty of nastiness and venom in her mouth
"oh yes Jack when you mess up and go to your old ways with you being a chip of the old Wilson block. I'll be waiting and I'll make your life a living hell until then enjoy your short term freedom".
She cackles and says "I'm sure it will last KillSwitch"
She then walks of laughing sarcastically. Jack waits in his cell for a couple of hours. Which actually feels like a whole eternity due to the anticipation of getting out of this hell hole after being locked away here for the last year or so.
Finally two guards appear wearing full body armour and helmets carrying Chains and handcuffs along with a muzzle and a black bag. They open the cell door and put the cuffs on his hands and ankles they then put on the chains. After that they put the muzzle on and then they put the bag over his head.
Jack walks out of the Cell and then walks through the penitentiary. He's then loaded into the van and they leave the penitentiary. They travel for what feels like a couple of hours Jacks not very sure it feels like a long journey but maybe it's not as long as it feels.
The van then stops and the doors open and Jacks grabbed by both Guards and taken out of the van they walk for a short while then the hood is taken of Jacks face and he's in a room and all of his gears there the guards then take of the muzzle chains and handcuffs they then lock the door behind him and leave.
Jack walks up to the table where he sees all of his gear and equipment.
An AI voice speaks and she says " Killswitch put on your gear and gather your equipment once you have use the Zeta tube you will be transported to mount Justice.
"If you fail to do this you will be sent back to Belle Reve Penitentiary"
Jack laughs to himself thinking what the hell have I gotten myself into whatever it is I'm sure it beats being locked up.
Jack gets on his suit which is very similar to his fathers Deathstroke it's also made of promethium it's black and grey in colour.
He then puts on his mask which is also very similar to his father's his is all black with a ghost face painted on.
He then gathers his equipment which is a ballistic staff, two promethium Katanas, two pistols which know seem to fire high impact blank bullets, smoke bombs, flash bangs, throwing knifes and throwing stars.
Jack then uses the Zeta tube and he's teleported to mount Justice. "He hears an AI voice say Killswitch 06".
He then hears Batman say and our "final member is Killswitch".
Jack doesn't say a word he just stoically nods in agreement. He sees Batman look at him and nod back. Standing beside Batman is Aquaman, Green arrow, black canary, the flash and red tornado along with the young heroes.
Kid flash then says "you have got to be kidding me this guy he's on the team.
Jack instantly turns his head and ominously glares at him he then says "if there's a problem speedster we can straighten this out right now and I can show you what I can do",
Jack then puts his hand on one of his pistols. Kid flash laughs and says "you think I'm scared of you just because you wear a scary suit and you were trained by your father DeathStroke who's an absolute psychopath".
Jack clenches his fists and doesn't say a word.
"Batman then says that's enough yous two the both of yous are gonna need to get on. Now switchblade you arrived late to this meeting so let me catch you up".
"So this is Wally aka kid flash I can already tell you are gonna get along. This aqualad aka kaldur, this is superboy you already know Robin quite well this and this is M'gann aka Miss Martian".
" All of yous are gonna work together as a team and complete covert missions assigned to you by me. Black Canary will be your trainer".
"All of yous will stay here at mount Justice and Red tornado has offered to live here and supervise you".
Jack nods his head in agreement he then says "that sounds good to me I have no issues with that".
Batman then says "the rest of you go and have a look around the cave settle in Switchblade me and Canary need to have a word with you in private".
Once everyone has left Batman says " I'm just gonna say this once and once only this is your last chance Switchblade".
"if you break any rules or return to your old ways you will be locked up for the rest of your life not many people get the chance that your getting so don't waste it".
Black Canary says " I will be watching you Jack and reporting your progress back to Bruce and other members of the league so don't mess this up because this is your shot at redemption".
Jack nods his head and says " don't worry I won't I'm not the person I once was and I can't change what i did in the past".
" but I can try and make up for it which is exactly what I will do ".
Batman nods and says "I'll believe it when I see it words mean nothing it's actions so prove it."
"That's all we needed to speak about go and be with the rest of your team mates try and get along with them yous are gonna be living and working together after all".
Jack heads of to the mission room where he sees all of his new team mates talking to one another. Jack sits down by himself and takes of his helmet and puts it beside him.
He looks down at the floor processing everything that's happened it's been some day. Dick comes over and sits down beside him.
"Dick says so it's been a while since we've last seen each other hasn't it".
Jack who's still looking down on the floor says "yeah I'm sorry about what happened and everything I did ".
Robin smiles and says "yeah you've done some bad things".
"But the last time we fought you ended up saving my life when you could have just left me to die ".
"Then instead of running away or carrying down the path you were on you surrendered ".
"So I have no problem with you being on the team in fact I'm happy to have someone with your experience on the team because I believe you change and deserve a second chance ".
"Now I'm not saying we will ever be friends but I'm happy to try as long as you are ".
Jack looks up from the floor and looks at Dick and says " thank you Dick I mean it I can't promise anything but I'll try ".
Jack puts out his hand for a handshake and Dick then shakes his hand.
Dick smiles and says " why don't you come and meet the rest of the team ".
Jack says " no I'm okay just now I think I might just have a look around the place anyway I don't want any confrontation with Wally I don't think he likes me and me and him fighting doesn't set a good impression "
Jack then stands up and walks of.
