READ FIRST: I will be focusing on DBOT for a bit before adding to this chapter again. The reason I was able to add to it quicker than most is because it's pretty short.

I hope you guys enjoy the next chapter.

The screen turned on showing a familiar demon with purple skin.

"Hey guys!" He yelled holding what looked like a lamp with an 'M' on it. He looked down on it and smiled before tossing it aside. "Don't mind that just working on a little experiment on the side."

Fu then pressed a button on the table. "Alright, let's count up the votes!"

The screen showed the votes of the previous poll.

A:6
B:5
C:3
D:7

"Option D, has taken the win in the closest poll we've had so far!" He looked at the scroll that had D labeled it. "What if Kid Kron had killed Raven?"

"Ooh, interesting." He said smiling. "After his fight against Raven, Kron's goal was to hunt her down to pay for turning him against people who cared about him and not his power. What if he got his revenge at their first fight? What would he do with Raven already dead? And what will Ozpin's circle do with her dead?"

He smiled at us as he placed the time scroll in the slot at the bottom of the time window.

What's he placed it in he grinned. "Now let's hope this won't be as a big of a downer of the last timeline we saw."

The screen went black and the title appeared.

What if Kid Kron had killed Raven?

Nine-year-old Kron stood across from Raven with one arm encased in red Ki, his perfected technique, Ursa Claw.

This was it, he had to time this perfectly.

Just one hit and she'll be dead.

Raven saw the attack he was performing she may be stronger than he is but she won't take chances. She has no choice she'll need to sever his arm.

If only he understood why she did all this. Kali would not have accepted him just like her former husband didn't accept her way of life.

She did it for his own good, she had to destroy any chance of staying with her if only he could have seen it that way.

Raven ran forward with her blade up in an attempt to sever his arm.

But just like the Prime Timeline, Kron lifted his fingers controlling a Ki blast he set aside.

Just before Raven's blade made contact with Kron's arm.

A Ki blast hidden away struck Raven.

But unlike the Prime Timeline, the blast did not strike her arms.

The Ki blast detonated against her face forcing her to drop her weapon.

"Ursa Claw!" Kron thrusted his technique aiming for her abdomen.

With her face struck, Raven's eyes were closed and she couldn't move.

Kron's Ursa Claw went straight through Raven's stomach and to the other side.

Raven's eyes were forced open, she looked down and saw Kron's arm in her stomach.

The Saiyan's eyes widened, he pulled his arm back and undid his technique. He looked at the wound he inflicted and he couldn't believe it, he thought that this was some kind of trick.

Raven's stomach had a hole that could be seen through.

Kron looked at the fear all over her face and smiled.

He then chuckled and started to laugh. "Yes! Yes, I've done it! I've beaten you!"

She fell to a knee as she spat out blood.

The injury, the pain was unlike anything she ever felt before.

"How?" Raven asked as she held her wound.

"I hid one of my blasts out of sight, I needed to create an opening if I was going to win."

She thought back to his Guided Swarm, that must have been when!

Kron chuckled at the despair on her face. "It's like you said, it takes more than brute force to win a fight."

Raven's eyes widen, it was only days ago when she told him that.

Was it because of that he came up with this plan?

She fell to both her knees while looking at Kron.

This was it?

This is how she'll die?

All her years of doing everything she can to survive? Rejoining the tribe, killing her father, and taking Cher's power for herself? Raising Kron to become a powerful Branwen Tribe member.

It was all for nothing?

Tears left her eyes as she thought of all she left behind.

Her tribe, her brother, her husband.

She saw a baby with blonde hair in her mind.

Her daughter.

Why did she leave her?

Regret started to settle in as she started to see black.

She didn't want to die.

She was terrified.

That's when she realized the real reason she did everything.

She wasn't trying to protect the Branwen Tribe, they were mere excuses, pawns to use for her safety.

Being a 'mother' to Kron was never a priority, it was all to get on his good side to get him to trust her so she could learn how to use his power, or even better take his for herself, just like she did to the Spring Maiden. He wasn't a child to her, she proved that when she tried to kill him for retaliating in a way she would encourage.

She robbed him of the choice of staying on Menagarie or rejoining the tribe. She took that choice away from him so either she could join her or die by her hand.

Just like Cher was.

Just like Kron was.

"I'm sorry Kron." She said as her tears left. "And sorry, Yang."

She fell face-first into the dirt before Kron's feet.

Kron looked down at Raven with a shocked expression. She apologized as she died.

But who was Yang?

He shook his head, that didn't matter.

Kron walked in front of Raven's body cautiously, he then kicked her stomach forcing the body to flip and look up at the sky with her red eyes.

No reaction.

No trick.

Kron laughed loudly again.

"Yes!" He yelled at her. "I did it, I did it!" He sat down and cackled though exhausted from the pain.

He looked at Raven's corpse, looking at those red eyes.

Though it was a win, it was not in the way he would have liked.

Raven had plenty of chances before and during this fight to have killed him. While he did win with strategy, he should be dead now.

Kron then grew angry, having his pride wounded by this thought and he squeezed his fists.

"You damn, hag! You only died because you wanted to use me!" He yelled down at her, and he sighed.

It didn't matter now, it was over.

At least he paid her back for tricking him, with lessons she taught him.

And despite that, he thought of his time under her wing.

She made him stronger, helped him remove his tail weakness, and gave him a life any Saiyan would ask for.

But then she punished him for retaliating in the Branwen Tribe's way, she tried to kill him for doing what she taught him!

While he did plan to kill her, it's not like she had a right to take it personally. It was like she taught him, that the strong live and the weak die, if she had a problem with it, she should have just killed him, it's not that different to what a typical Saiyan would do.

And even then, he did have a hard time deciding if he could go through with killing her while he was growing under her watch after all she did.

Kron looked down at Raven's corpse and spoke.

"Raven your first mistake was not going through with killing me after the tribe tried to get rid of me." He thought back to Vernal trying to ambush him and he fell down that cliff into the ocean. "Your last was when you led me to believe Kali had stabbed me in the back when it was actually you."

He thought back to how he attacked Ghira and maimed Sienna.

The Saiyan had done things that he could never take back.

While Raven did trick him, he still chose to react the way he did.

He chose that.

And for that, he could never go back to Kali for anything.

Not that he thought he could live with them.

A Saiyan living with a family like that? Impossible, there's no way he could have something like that, especially knowing the life he lived. Kali would have feared him and wanted him locked up or dead. Not that he could blame her.

The sad thing is, he was wrong. In another timeline, there exists a version of Kron that grew up in the Belladonna household, a new start that he would grow up to appreciate. Something that many versions of Raven had robbed him of.

Kron walked up to Raven's corpse and knelt beside her head.

"You had all this strength and still resorted to pathetic trickery. Still, you were strong, and your lessons helped me progress into a warrior." He spoke with some level

He placed a hand on her face and closed her eyes.

"So long Raven, I will use your lessons to become the warrior you pretended to be."

Though thinking of Kali, he felt the need to restrain himself from killing like he does in the Prime Timeline.

"And I hope I get a rematch with you, when I die and join you in hell.

The Saiyan began walking away leaving behind Raven's corpse.

Once he was out of sight someone not far behind stumbled upon Raven's corpse.

It was a familiar scorpion Faunus with long braided hair.

Tyrian smiled at Raven's corpse.

"The goddess will want to know about this." He said with glee.

Kron stood up and looked to the sky.

Now that Raven was dead, now what?

He thought of the weeks he spent with the Belladonnas he could not imagine harming them.

Going through with the mission means their deaths.

And just like Kron Prime he abandoned his mission but now there's one difference.

With Raven dead what will his next goal be?

Elsewhere

On an island far away from Kron, someone else will be experiencing a change as a result of Raven's death.

Outside a house a nine-year-old Yang had boxing gloves throwing punches at her father.

"Come on Yang, you need to focus your Aura with every punch." He instructed. "Stop holding back and show me some real fire!" The loving father encouraged his daughter.

Yang smiled at her father and pulled back her fist.

"Alright! Head's up Dad! I'll do it right this time!"

As she thrusted her fist wanting to show some fire to her father.

At that thought, her left boxing glove was coated in fire.

Her eyes started to glow a purple glow the same color as her pupils, similar to Raven when she used her Maiden abilities.

Taiyang noticed this and watched as Yang's punch was faster than he expected with fire surrounding it.

Yang's fire punch smashed into Taiyang's stomach.

The huntsman was sent flying back from the force and explosion of her fire.

He landed against a tree.

"Huh?" Yang asked. "Dad?!" She wanted to land a punch but she didn't want to actually hurt him.

"Daddy!" Seven-year-old Ruby ran to her father and knelt next to him. "Are you ok?"

Taiyang looked to his younger daughter and tried to recover by putting a smile on his face. "Y-yeah I'm ok, just a little surprised." He said smiling and then looked to Yang.

Yang looked guilty while her eyes were still glowing and her body seemed to be covered in flames that didn't seem to be harming her.

"Dad, sorry I didn't mean to do that." She said in a sad tone.

Taiyang saw the sad look on her and decided to bring some humor to ease her and himself actually at what happened. "Hehe, don't be, I did say to show me some fire." He smiled as he stood up while grabbing his stomach, thankful that his Aura protected him.

Yang laughed along with her father loving the pun, but then she looked at her hands, seeing flames pouring out.

"Umm," She looked at her fire-coated hands as they burned through the boxing gloves she was wearing.

It was as if he was exuding fire magic because it suited Yang the most.

"Hey Dad, how am I doing this?"

Taiyang said nothing and focused on her eyes.

That flame-like glow, this fire, there was no mistaking it.

"Yang look at you!" Ruby yelled amazed by the fire she was giving off. "You're making fire without any Dust! It's so cool!"

Yang chuckled as she looked at her hands. "I think you mean hot! This feels awesome!" She was excited as she felt like she got a new power but then she looked at her father. "But, Dad, how do I turn this off?"

Taiyang looked at his daughter and took out his scroll.

"Yang, you need to calm down." He didn't know if this would work, he never had to be in charge of a Maiden before.

Yang took a breath and tried to relax herself.

The flames were starting to dissipate, and her eyes reverted to normal.

Taiyang was grateful to see that she could at least turn off her new power.

"Dad?" Yang asked confused as she reverted to normal. "Do you know how I did that?"

Taiyang knelt to his young daughter. "Yeah, I do, but we need to talk to someone about this."

"Who?" Yang and Ruby asked.

He smiled knowing how excited they'd be he simply said. "An old friend of mine, just try not to use your power until we see him ok Yang?"

Yang with a confused face nodded seeing her father's smile eased her. "Ok, I will."

Though Taiyang smiled he couldn't help but wonder how did Yang get this power?

A Maiden died and it just went into someone random?

It has to be, no one he knows is a Maiden.

At least he hoped that was the case.

Whatever the case, Yang was now a Maiden and he would do what he must to protect her from Salem.

Anima

Like the Prime Timeline Kron had become champion of the Golden Daggers Arena.

But one difference is that he did not give up his status as champion, he made a different arrangement with Daim.

From now on he will not fight in the Arena unless the champions of the other arenas are challenging him.

Even then he might deny them if he's not in the mood for an easy win.

And in his off time, he's exploring one of the four kingdoms in hopes of finding opponents with Raven's power, or at least someone as powerful.

Unfortunately for him, he hadn't found any of them with the kind of power Raven had.

He almost felt like just taking his pod and leaving Remnant, the only thing that stopped him was knowing that he was not going to survive if he ended up in PTO territory.

No, if he ever wanted to leave he'll need to get stronger, much stronger. This is why he's training more than Kron Prime did at this point since he doesn't feel the need to stay without Raven to hunt down.

Even though he still often thinks about the Menagerie incident, what he did to the Belladonna family.

But it didn't matter, he vowed to never see them again, for their sake and his own.

Now while he is training, he still wishes there was some worthy opponent out there for him to fight.

Just then a beeping noise came from his pocket.

He pulled out the scroll that Daim had given him.

"What is it Daim?" He asked in a bored tone, not sure if he felt like an easy win right now.

"Eh Kron, I got some news for ya, there's a promising new fighter in Dead End Arena."

Right, he asked for updates for any interesting fighters, but usually, these interesting fighters only got the rank below their champions.

"Dead End" He replied. "Isn't that Slate's Arena?" That weakling who over-reliant on his Mirror Force Semblance.

"Yep, let me tell ya she's already stronger than the other combatants! Pretty sure she's going to take Slate's position."

Just like the last one.

"Right" He rolled his eyes and sighed. He learned not to let his hopes go too high. "And who is she exactly."

"She goes by a fighting name like you, the Golden Zhulong."

Kron heard the name and sighed wondering if he should leave the arena now. Whoever this woman is, she's not going to be anything special like every other combatant.

Nothing like Raven, that's for sure.

Some Time Before

Garnet had been doing some paperwork while drinking some wine.

Slate's been doing well, but as usual, the Scourge of Anima had beaten him again. Such a shame she thought he'd luck out this year.

While she does hope for Slate's success, part of her wishes there was someone out there she knew that could take on the Scourge of Anima.

Just then two of her guards smashed through her door.

Her other two guards aimed their weapons at the entrance.

A young woman with long blonde hair walked through the door.

"Who are you?" Garnet demanded.

"Sorry about that, Junior said they'd let me in if I knew the password." A confident voice spoke. "This is Dead-End Arena?"

Junior? That little brat.

She sighed and glared at her.

"I'll ask again, who are you?"

She smirked and crossed her arms as if knowing that they didn't have anyone strong enough to stop her.

"The name's Yang and I want to join your roster in the Arena."

Garnet

A purple glow appeared in her eyes.

She wasn't close with her mother all she knew was that she left and didn't say anything.

A few years after she had become the Spring Maiden, her father and uncle explained to her about her mother.

She chose to rejoin a group of bandits over her team.

Over her daughter.

That made her resent her, but she felt like there was more to it.

Maidens pass on their power by thinking about the next girl as they die.

If they think of a man or an elder woman the power goes to a random girl.

So, she was chosen to be the next Maiden.

Raven thought of her as she died.

And she wanted to know why she gave her this power.

The only person who would know was the Scourge of Anima, a boy that Raven had raised, only for him to kill her.

Why did he kill her? Was it to take over the Branwen Tribe like her dad said? He did say that the Branwen Tribe chose their leaders by killing the leader.

And when she died, did she regret choosing to raise him over her?

Whatever the case, she wanted to know, needed to know. While her dad and uncle are now being upfront about her father it wasn't enough.

Her mother had finally given her something and she needed to know why. And there was only one person who could know.

Her training intensified when she became a Maiden and she became stronger than she thought she could. She was strong enough to fight against her father and uncle at once, once she learned to use her magic like her Aura, she became strong enough to fight a team of huntsmen on her own.

All before she would begin her first year at Beacon Academy.

And she's hoping to use the Void Vault on top of it, to get as strong as possible.

Even then she feels that it's time, the Scourge of Anima was a champion of the Golden Daggers Arena in Anima.

And he would occasionally fight the champions of the Bloody Sands Arena in the kingdom of Vacuo, and of the Dead-End Arena in the Kingdom of Vale.

Which is why she was going to join Dead End Arena, even if under the nose of her father and uncle.

Yang Xiao-Long the Spring Maiden was ready to track down her mother's killer and get the answers she longed for.

Fu's Hideout

"Ok, so this is already a bit different from the Prime Timeline." He put a hand to his chin. "Kron keeps his position as the champion of the Golden Daggers Arena, not on the hunt for anyone in particular and Yang's the Spring Maiden, and on the hunt for Kron instead of the other way around."

"Since Kron's got no reason to go to Vale, I wonder what will happen with Cinder and her plans now." He had a nervous look. "Let's hope Ozpin lets her use the Void Vault, not sure if I like the idea of him not being around the city to keep them safe."

He smiled and chuckled.

"Anyway, time for us to move on to the next part, time to vote for the next timeline!"

He pulled out a box and pulled out the four timelines.

"Since none of the other timelines had 0 votes, the poll will remain the same." He said to us and pulled out the scrolls.

"Option A: What if Kron's pod landed near Salem's castle?"

He pulled out another.

"Option B: What if Kron was female?"

Another.

"Option C: What if Kron landed near Atlas Part 2?"

And the last one.

"Option D: What if kid Kron had killed Raven Part 2?" He looked to the screen. "Will Yang find Kron? Will Vale be safe? Find out here!"

"Alrighty so remember the rules." He said to us. "You got one week from today, cast your votes and we'll see what timeline we look into next!"

He waved at us.

"That's all she wrote, byyyye!" He vanished leaving us with the four scrolls to choose from.

So I had fun writing this timeline but I have one problem with it.

What do I name this Kron?

Raven Killer Kron since he killed Raven? Champion Kron since he stayed in the Underground Arenas?

If anyone can come up with a name for this version of Kron let me know in the reviews.

Also maybe a better name for this timeline? I can't come up with anything other than the Killed Raven timeline and I feel it can have a better name.

But more importantly make sure to vote for your preferred timeline!

I also wanted to post this chapter quick to say thank you to all the people who supported me even during the hiatus. I look forward to adding to the main story when the hiatus is over. I hope you all know how much your ideas and support means to me.

But like I said I am going to focus on DBOT for a bit before I add to this story again, I hope you understand and can wait a bit longer.

See you in the next chapter!
