"Promise of Peace" follows the journey of Cagalli Yula Athha and Athrun Zala as they navigate the complexities of war, duty, and love. As they struggle to maintain peace in a world torn apart by war, they confront their own feelings and desires, grappling with the sacrifices they must make for the greater good.

Once one had taken the life of another, he shall prepare for his life to be taken. This was something that Andrew Wartfeld knew and made his personal code. Who would be the avenger? Would it be the Desert Dawn insurgents or that Yamato kid?

Athrun blames himself for what had happened to her, and maybe that's why she constantly visited him and only him. Maybe it was retribution, because her visits were a constant, painful reminder of what happened and what isn't. But, maybe, her visits were to ease the pain, because they also brought him solace. This year, what February 14th meant to Athrun has completely changed.

Devastated after the wedding of the love of his life, he spent the night drinking his sorrow away. The next morning, the result of his pity party came at the doorstep, with a shocking news to tell, which will be the start of their journey through the past, to their eventual future.
