Chapter Text
Krillin and the others ended up following this man to help find his sister and bring her back. They walked listening to this man's plight as they headed to a casino-like building. The group paused as they stood there.
"Um sir, I don't think we are allowed to go to such a place," Momo commented as she looked at the former villain.
He turned and paused, "Well it is under it, the backdoor leads to the area where they are holding an underground tournament for money between quirk users. They are heavily bet on, and well the prize is my sister."
"It is illegal to fight with a quirk for entertainment right," Krillin asked as he looked at the others. As he came up with a plan, "What if I join, rules against quirk users don't apply to me, I have no quirk, then you three scout out the area and um figure out where the daughter is kept. We then either figure out some way to free her or maybe I just win the tournament. I might be able to, you know."
Krillin paused, "I think we should find some disguises like clothes that hide who we are and allow us to not be spotted as students right away like we would now," Krillin added in, "Sir how long till the fights start."
The man who was missing his sister paused thinking for a moment, "About three hours or so."
"Good um we should have time. I think we just have to figure out a way to get the clothes change and not look like we don't fit in," Krillin commented to the others.
Krillin and the others slipped over to a nice store where they would shop quickly for the disguises that they would wear that night. Luckily it would seem Momo had enough money to cover this.
The group made their way to the nearby store to purchase disguises, using Momo's funds to ensure they wouldn't be recognized. Krillin, Momo, Mashirao, and Eijiro each picked out outfits that would help them blend in and avoid suspicion.
Krillin opted for a simple, casual outfit, donning a dark jacket and a cap to conceal his distinctive appearance. He looked like an ordinary teenager, ensuring his bald head and monk attire wouldn't give him away.
Momo chose an elegant but understated ensemble, looking like a wealthy patron attending a high-end event. Her attire oozed sophistication, making her appear more like an adult than a student.
Mashirao and Eijiro both settled on sporty and unremarkable outfits that wouldn't draw attention. They looked like regular young men ready for a night out.
With their disguises in place, the group felt more confident about infiltrating the underground tournament without being recognized as students from U.A. High. Their mission to rescue the man's sister was about to begin, and Krillin couldn't help but feel the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, knowing that their actions could impact someone's life significantly.
As Krillin entered the preparation area for the underground tournament, he couldn't help but notice the stark difference between this event and the world he was accustomed to. The participants were indeed a motley crew, each with their unique quirks and abilities, far removed from the martial arts world he was familiar with.
Krillin had signed up with a minor quirk, a mere ruse to allow him to participate in the event without raising suspicions. He knew he would have to depend on his combat skills, honed through years of training, to stand a chance in the tournament.
As he surveyed his opponents, Krillin remained focused, keeping his guard up. He was prepared for the unpredictable nature of this underground fight, determined to use this opportunity to rescue the kidnapped girl. He knew his friends were out there, scouting and gathering information, and he had faith in their abilities to uncover the truth.
With a sense of purpose, Krillin readied himself for the forthcoming battles, aware that he would have to navigate a world of quirks and unknown challenges to succeed in their mission.
Krillin's first opponent, a towering figure with an enormous quirk, was no match for the speed and precision of the martial artist. As the crowd chuckled at the seemingly uneven matchup, Krillin remained focused, sizing up his opponent's movements. He observed the man's slow, powerful attacks, understanding that his strength lay in his brute force rather than agility.
When the fight began, Krillin wasted no time. He weaved through the man's lumbering strikes, his movements fluid and graceful. Despite the size difference, Krillin's punches were like lightning, landing with pinpoint accuracy. The audience watched in awe as Krillin swiftly incapacitated his opponent with just three well-timed strikes.
The simplicity and efficiency of Krillin's victory left the spectators astonished and questioning the nature of his quirk. Little did they know, it was his unmatched martial arts skills and combat experience that allowed him to triumph so effortlessly. As Krillin moved on to the next round, he remained focused on the task at hand, his determination unwavering. He knew that with each opponent he defeated, they were one step closer to uncovering the truth behind the underground tournament and rescuing the kidnapped girl.
Krillin observed the ongoing fights, his eyes keenly scanning the arena for any potential threats or useful information. Among the fighters, he noticed a remarkably skilled combatant, unaware that she was actually the pro hero Rumi Usagiyama, working undercover to dismantle the illegal fight club.
When Krillin's turn came, he found himself facing a peculiar opponent adorned with spikes all over his body, which he could shoot off as projectiles. The attacks were visually striking but ultimately predictable. Krillin, relying on his sharp instincts and years of combat experience, quickly analyzed the patterns in his opponent's movements.
As the fight commenced, Krillin expertly dodged the incoming spikes, effortlessly maneuvering around the attacks. He maintained his focus, observing the opponent's body language and predicting his next moves. With every missed strike, the spike-wielding foe grew more fatigued, his attacks losing speed and precision.
Krillin continued to evade, allowing his opponent to wear himself out. The crowd, unaware of Krillin's true capabilities, placed their bets, underestimating the small fighter before them. Krillin's primary concern remained the safety of the kidnapped girl and ensuring the success of their mission. He moved strategically, biding his time and patiently waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Meanwhile, he hoped that his fellow teammates were making progress in their reconnaissance efforts.
Krillin's expertise and quick thinking allowed him to outmaneuver his opponent, slipping past the spike-wielding man's defenses. In a swift and precise motion, he delivered a powerful knee strike to the jaw, knocking his adversary out cold. The crowd, despite their initial underestimation of Krillin, now began to respect his combat abilities.
As the fights progressed, Krillin continued to claim victory against each of his opponents, using his remarkable skills and experience to his advantage. The small fighter quickly dispatched one adversary after another, all while keeping a watchful eye on the progress of his teammates who were investigating the premises.
Krillin's journey through the tournament led him to the semifinals, bringing him one step closer to reaching the final round. With each victory, he inched closer to achieving the team's goal, and he was determined to ensure the safety of the kidnapped girl while uncovering the truth about the illegal fight club.
Krillin faced an opponent in the semifinals who was unlike any he had encountered in the tournament so far. Rumi Usagiyama, also known as Tiger Bunny, was a formidable adversary, and her reputation as an undefeated fighter preceded her. Krillin was unaware that he was going up against a pro hero, and this lack of knowledge added to the challenge.
Tiger Bunny's speed, power, and aggressive fighting style kept Krillin on his toes. He found himself constantly dodging her strikes and maintaining a strong defense to avoid being overwhelmed. The crowd watched in anticipation as the battle between Krillin and the undefeated fighter unfolded, with many wondering if the young fighter could overcome such a formidable opponent.
"Um, wow, your good, miss Tiger Bunny," Krillin said as he ducked a strike, he was unable to find an opening against her as he hoped he would.
Tiger Bunny grinned, her eyes focused on Krillin. "You're not too shabby yourself, kid," she replied, impressed by Krillin's agility and defensive skills. She continued her onslaught, launching a series of fast and precise strikes, testing Krillin's abilities to the fullest.
Krillin was knocked to the ground by an overhead kick that caused him to move quickly to get back to his feet and dodge a second strike. He was very much on the back foot, here, and he might have to pull out all the stops too. He used an after image to confuse Rumi for a moment as her attack went through his after image, but she recovered quickly enough to block his attack. This was like fighting Goku in some minor ways. As he attacked he thought about using the kamehameha, but that would be way too large of an attack.
Suddenly though the sounds of chaos got to them as Krillin looked at Rumi or Tiger Bunny as she was known at that moment, "I have to help my friends, sorry but you can have this win, I am not here to win this tournament.I am here to save some guy's sister you see, and put a end to this too."
Krillin had a feeling this foe wasn't normal, they were way too strong and powerful. They had to be someone special or maybe a hero who was undercover as well. He wasn't sure, maybe just a villain, but he would take his chances. If she was a villain he would have to fight her later anyhow. Plus with the chaos this tournament was basically done with anyhow. The chaos would break up the tournament for the night.
Tiger Bunny watched Krillin's display of skill and agility with admiration, and when he mentioned his friends and the reason for his presence at the tournament, she understood his priorities. She nodded in response, acknowledging his decision.
"Go help your friends, kid. This isn't over between us," she said with a determined look, clearly recognizing Krillin's potential as a fighter. She understood that their paths might cross again, and she was ready for a rematch in the future.
Krillin's arrival provided much-needed reinforcement to his friends as they fought against the gang members guarding the girl. Together, they managed to subdue the enemies and ensure the safety of the kidnapped sister. With the evidence they had collected, they would be able to expose the illegal activities of the underground fight club.
"Great job, everyone," Krillin commended his companions. "Now, let's get out of here before the situation escalates even further."
Krillin took point as he would led them out. He knew the others would help and had done a great job of finding and getting to the girl. He slipped out of the area as it would seem Tiger Bunny had gotten in her own brawl which drew pretty much all the attention. It made escaping way easier as he would look and take the girl to her brother.
"Well, um lets not do that one again," Momo commented, realizing at some point that their ideas as good hearted but also rather foolish.
Krillin nodded in agreement as he handed the girl back to her relieved brother. "We did what we had to do, but yeah, sneaking into an underground fight club isn't the safest plan. We got lucky this time. Anyway, we got the evidence, and that's what matters."
With the girl safely reunited with her brother and the evidence in hand, they could now turn it over to the proper authorities and let them handle the rest. It had been an eventful day, and despite the risks, they had managed to make a positive impact.
"Let's just drop this off in the mailbox, I think if we give it to them directly, they might have a lot more questions, which might get us all into some trouble," Krillin commented to Momo, Mashirao, and Eijiro. He had gotten into trouble once without trying, doing so again wouldn't be a good move.
Momo nodded in agreement. "You're right, Krillin. Let's drop this evidence off anonymously. We've done our part, and it's best to stay out of any further trouble. Hopefully, this will put an end to that underground fight club."
They found a mailbox nearby and discreetly left the evidence there. It was a small act of justice, and they could only hope it would make a positive difference in the long run. With that done, they made their way back to U.A. High School, ready to put this unexpected adventure behind them.
