Also, in this story, Jiraya is still alive! (Yes, he will play a crucial role in my story afterwards). During his fight with Pain, he was able to survive but was comatosed for a looooong time.

And, Tsunade is his biological grandmother (Yeah She's Minato's Mother in my story. She was tricked by the council into believing that Minato's child died during the Kyubi Attack. When Jiraya went to bring back tsunade with Naruto, he told her that Naruto was Minato's child. Although reluctant to believe it at first, she realized that she was wrong, when she saw his Rasengan.)

CHAPTER 2

SECRET ABILITY AND INVESTIGATIONS

'What the-' Naruto's mind raced as he saw the chaos that ensured in the hot springs. But, the most terrifying part was that, he felt his body paralysed. He tried to do a bunshin seal to create atleast 20 kage bunshins to help in the process of evacuation, but he wasn't able to do so.

'What the hell happened to my body!' He screamed mentally as he struggled to get up from the hot spring as he heard the loud footsteps of something which was approaching him. The ground was shaking with each step. Naruto starred in front of him, as the layer of smoke started to clear slowly, revealing the structure of a creature which apparently had three heads.

'Three heads? That's-' as the smoke cleared, Naruto could clearly see the three headed creature. It was tall and huge, and had greyish fur all over its body. The three heads was somewhat like a hybrid of a dog and a lion. The eyeballs of the creature was growing red with rage. Naruto could sense the immense amount of negative and destructive emotions coming from the creature. He could also feel the huge amount of chakra, which seemed to be somewhat near to the levels of a tailed beast.

Before Naruto could analyze the creature any longer, he started to feel dizzy, as all his surroundings started to go blank. And in a few moments, all he could see was a black void. He heard the faint noises of someone shouting his name. Seconds passed, as the sounds got more audible as he could recognize the voice of the person.

"NARUTO!"

He opened his eyes and saw Ino, staring at his eyes. He was still sitting in the hot spring while she was standing behind him.

"Where am I-" Naruto weakly said as he took a look around. He was in the hot springs, there was no one on the bath except him, the walls were intact, there was no sign of any kind of destruction. He stood up and saw Ino and Temari standing beside him, in their pink kimonos.

"What are you guys doing here?" Naruto said as Temari handed him a towel as he draped it around his waist and tucked the corners. Ino was, blushing of course, since Naruto was…..uhm.

"It is the closing time of the public onsen, Naruto. The staff told that you were asleep and weren't responding to their calls, thus, we had to come." Temari replied as she put his hand on Naruto's shoulder, "Is everything ok?"

"Not quite. Where is Mirai?"

"Well, I sent her back to the room. She insisted to come with us when she was told that you weren't waking up. She started panicking!" Ino said as Naruto huffed a bit.

Three of them started to walk outside the baths. Naruto changed his clothes as he came outside the changing room, where Ino and Temari were waiting for him. They started to walk back towards their rooms.

"Y'know. I had this weird dream."

"What dream, Naruto?" Ino asked as Naruto replied, "I saw the Three headed monster in my dream."

"Three headed monster?" Temari said with a shocking tone.

"Yes, more surprisingly, it didn't felt like a dream at all. I could sense the emotions of the monster, the chakra of the monster. I don't even remember when I fell asleep during the bath."

"Wait did you said emotions?" Ino said as Naruto and Temari looked towards her, "Emotions ae something which don't just appear out of blue, there must be something even deeper….."

"Maybe…" Temari agreed. They bid good-night to each other as they parted ways. Naruto headed to his room, only to be welcomed by a tearful Mirai, who slammed herself to a confused Naruto as she hugged him, when he entered the room.

"Sensei!"

"It's ok, I am fine, Mirai." Naruto assured as he patted her head with his bandaged hand.

"Tomorrow is going to be a long day. Get some sleep, Mirai?"

"Yes Sensei!" she pulled out herself from the hug as she headed towards her bedroom. Naruto sat on the floor alongside the table as he made himself a bit comfortable. Then he closed his eyes as he slowly entered his mindscape.

"Worried, eh?" Kurama said in a lazy and bored manner as Naruto made a tired expression.

"Yeah, you witnessed the dream with me, didn't you?"

"Do you really think, that's a 'dream'?"

"What do you mean, Kurama?"

"Time will tell you, Naruto." Kurama smirked as Naruto sat down in front of him.

"I am getting old for this."

"You sure are."

Naruto let out a small laugh as Kurama joined in.

"See, Naruto. You know that we tailed beast are made of chakra, right? And the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Otsusuki created us."

"Yeah, I know that."

"So, during our creation, small amounts of chakra kept leaking out, which led to the creation of various weird creatures, some harmless, some deadly. Most of these creatures are extinct now, in easy words, their chakra system is destroyed due to the change in terrains and environment over the years."

"So, it this three headed monster one of the accidentally created creatures from the past?" Naruto said as Kurama nodded.

"It seems so. As far I know, these creatures are sealed in their 'vessels'?"

"Vessels? Human sacrifices?" Naruto's eyes widened.

"Yes. But, the shinobi nations have no idea about the existence of creatures like these. They are, what we say, 'the forgotten past'."

"I understand, Kurama. Which means that, this three headed monster also has a vessel? And to destroy this creature, we need to kill whoever this vessel is?"

"Right, Naruto." Kurama smirked. "I am going to get some sleep…."

"Again?" Naruto deadpanned as he came out of his mindscape. It was around 2am. He got up from the ground and walked outside the room, as he headed towards the onsens lawn. A few minutes later, he arrived at the place. He took a quick look around.

The grass was soft and comfortable, there were small water bodies around the place, beautiful bushes with various kinds of flowers. The entire place was enlightened by the moonlight. All of these elements along with the cool breeze created a peaceful environment. Naruto laid on the grass as he looked towards the full moon.

He could hear the soft footsteps of someone walking towards him, he turned a bit as he saw a blonde haired girl. The rays of moon fell on her face and hair as Naruto blushed a bit at her appearance.

"Naruto, is that you?" Ino spoke softly as she took a seat alongside him, on the grass. She was blushing a bit, as she took her seat.

"Yeah, Ino. What are you doing here?" Naruto got up and took a seat as she looked into his eyes.

"Was unable to get some sleep in my room, so, a small stroll." She smiled lightly.

Both of them looked at the full moon together, admiring its natural beauty. Ino looked at him as he was observing the moon. She blushed at his facial appearance. Her long time crush was sitting alongside her and she was trying her best to control her emotions. She knew that she couldn't do much since he was already dating Hinata for a long time.

'I wish he was my boyfriend…..' she thought as Naruto's eyes widened a bit.

'Ino, I can feel certain emotions coming from her…Love, Affection, Sadness….' he turned towards her as she had a sad expression in her.

"Ino, is something bothering you?" Naruto asked her Ino looked towards him.

"Y-Yes, Naruto."

"You can tell me." Naruto smilled as he put his hand on top of her hand. She blushed as she slowly interlocked her fingers with his ones. She rested her head on his shoulder as her blush grew deeper.

"Naruto, It hurts…"

"What is it, Ino?"

"It hurts to see the man, whom I love with all my heart, is hanging out with another woman. But, I am not even in a position to proclaim my love to him."

"Ah, did Sai do anything?" Naruto asked her.

"I never loved him, and he never loved me. He is just a friend."

'Then, whom is she talking about?' Naruto thought as Ino looked towards him. She rested her head on his chest while she wrapped her arms around him. Small tears started to flow out of her eyes.

'He's so close, yet so far….' Ino thought.

"Ino, Ero-sennin once told me…."He continued as he patted her head in an affectionate manner, as she listened to him, while resting her head on his chest, "….that everything is fair in love and war. The man you love, why don't you try to confess to him once? A small step can cause a great change! Who knows, maybe he also loves you back."

Ino smiled and blushed hardly as he listened to his words. The thought of Naruto loving her made her happy. She wanted him, he was her world.

'Who knows, maybe he also loves you back.' Naruto's words rang on her head as she slowly started to drift to the world of dreams.

'Everything….is fair….in….love and…war.' Ino thought slowly as she fell asleep on Naruto arms, her head resting on his chest. Naruto looked at her peaceful face, while she was asleep.

Naruto got up and picked up Ino in bridal style as she took her to his room, since he had no idea where her room was. As he reached his bedroom, he slowly placed her in the bed and covered her with a soft blanket.

'I'll take the other bedroom' Naruto thought as he slowly closed the door of the bedroom and walked to the other room, to get some sleep.

NEXT MORNING, ONSEN LOBBY

Naruto and Mirai, in their shinobi uniforms, were waiting at the resort lobby for the two Yugakure shinobis who were supposed to escort them to the sites of the attacks. Ino and Temari had already left the onsen to do some shopping and sightseeing. They told Naruto that they would be meeting at evening for dinner. Temari noticed that Ino was quite happier than usual, so when she asked her about it, Ino told her about her crush on Naruto and all the incidents that took place that night. Temari was quite amused after hearing that Ino has a crush on Naruto.

"Well. It's understandable. Naruto is quite likeable after all." Temari grinned as Ino nodded, while both of them walked through the shopping street of Yugakure.

Back at the lobby, Naruto and Mirai were waiting for the people as they heard the sound of footsteps approaching towards them. He looked towards them and saw two female shinobis, wearing the standard uniform and the Yugakure headband, approaching them.

'They look younger than me. New chunins, I guess.' Naruto thought as both of them stood in front of him.

"Greetings, myself Uzumaki Naruto. Konoha Jounin and Toad Sannin. This is my student, Mirai Sarutobi." Naruto introduced himself and Mirai as the two shinobis bowed to them.

"Myself Ayako Ueihara, Yugakure Chunin."

"Myself Sumiko Kiyada, Yugakure Chunin. We have been assigned to escort you to the Kora village."

"Kora village?" Mirai asked as Ayako replied, "One of the places where the creature was sighted."

"How many days ago, did the sighting took place?" Naruto asked as Sumiko replied, "Around 5 days ago, Uzumaki-san."

"Okay, take us there, then."

"Sure, sir." Ayako said as four of them left the onsen and headed towards the village gates, from where, they will head towards Kora village. It took them around 30 minutes to reach the place. The village was…destroyed. All the huts and homes were wrecked, trees were uprooted, ponds were filled with mud and sand.

"Where are the villagers?" Naruto asked.

"They have been evacuated. Currently, a shelter house had been made using tents." Sumiko replied as Naruto said, "Can you take us to that shelter?"

"Sure, sir."

They were taken to the tent shelters, which was located 10 minutes away at a clearing. Mirai was horrified at the sight of the camps. The people had sustained various kinds of injuries, some had lost their limbs, some has lost their eyes, some were on the verge of death.

"Why aren't medical ninjas doing anything?" Mirai asked as Sumiko replied, "They are trying their best, I am afraid that things are out of their hands."

Naruto closed his eyes as he activated his Rikudo Sennin mode. Then, he created 15 kage bunshins and instructed them to heal the people using the powers. Sumiko and Ayano were in awe as they saw the clones healing the people. The blinded people were able to see, the immobilized people were able to walk.

Sumiko and Ayano knew who The Naruto Uzumaki was, but they didn't had that much idea about his powers.

"Is he a god?" Ayano asked as Mirai smiled,

"That's my sensei for you!"

The real Naruto walked to them as he was performing a series of handseals.

"Aren't these tents quite cramped, the children feel claustrophobic." He sighed as he slammed his hand on the ground, shaking Ayano and Sumire a bit.

"Mokuton: Renchuuka no Jutsu" Naruto said slowly as a series of fully built houses started to emerge from the ground.

"Is that…"

"….Mokuton?" Ayano ended the sentence as Mirai smiled at her sensei as both did a fist bump.

"Ayano, Sumiko, shift some of the people from the tents to these houses. If you want more houses, I can build them." Naruto grinned a bit as Sumiko started to bring the people as instructed.

"I am just curious but, how can you do the Mokuton? I know that only the first hokage could do that?" Ayano asked as Naruto replied, "Well there are many reasons why I am able to do that. The easiest being, I have Senju blood running through my veins." He replied with a smile.

After the relocations were done, Naruto built a few more colonies using his Mokuton style, after which, the left the shelter zone to investigate at the destroyed village. Upon arrival, Naruto and Mirai started to check around the wrecked homes, in order to find any kind of clues.

"Sensei!" Naruto heard Mirai calling him as he walked to his place.

"What is it, Mirai?"

"See this." Mirai pointed towards something lying on the middle of the rubble. Naruto took a closer look.

"Grey fur? Wait-" Naruto sensed that something was off about the fur. Mirai took some of them on her hand as she placed them on the ground.

"What is it, sensei?"

"I can feel chakra from these furs, Mirai."

"Chakra? But how?"

Naruto placed in hand on top of the fur as he activated his Sennin mode. Slowly, those furs started to convert into strings of chakra as Naruto absorbed them."

"What the-"

"Mirai, these furs were purely made of Chakra."

"Does that mean-?"

"Yes, these furs belong to the three headed monster."

Mirai remembered how Naruto sensei told her during the breakfast that these creatures were formed due to the leaked chakra from the tailed beast, during the time of the sage of Six Paths.

'Everything that sensei told me makes way more sense now…..'

After that, they searched a few more homes, only to find nothing, as they returned to the place where Sumiko and Ayano were waiting for them. It was lunch time, so they decided to have something to eat. Ayano opened a scroll from her pouch and unsealed some food items from the scroll.

"We were told that you have a liking for Ramen. Thus, I cooked some for you, Uzumaki-san." Ayano said as Naruto made a shocked expression. "You…made ramen for us?"

"Yeah, Uzumaki-san. After all, you are our guest." Sumiko commeted with a smile.

"What about you two?" Mirai asked them.

"Soldiers pills, as always." Ayano replied as Naruto huffed, expressing his disappointment.

"Nonsense." He groaned as he did a few handseals and slammed his fist on the ground, as a wooden table emerged from the ground.

"You two are going to eat with us." Naruto ordered them as both the girls replied with a "Hai" as they sat along the table, getting a bit scared of the authoritive tone in which Naruto ordered them.

"C'mon there is nothing to get scared about!" Mirai joked as Naruto let out a laugh.

After Lunch, Naruto, with the help of Ayano and Sumiko, searched a few more areas to find clues about the creature while a kage bunshin of his was helping Mirai with the Katon Jutsu.

"KATON: GOKA MESSHITSU!" Mirai screamed as she inhaled some air and led out a stream of flames through her mouth. The flames were uneven and didn't last for a long time.

"Nice going, Mirai. Try to apply katon element equally to your chakra. And focus on the ranges and distributions, ok?" Bunshin Naruto said as Mirai nodded.

EVENING TIME, YUGAKURE

Ayano and Sumiko bid farewell to Naruto and Mirai for the day, after they dropped them in front on the Onsen building.

Both chunins were assigned to escort and assist Naruto for his mission, thus, they would arrive the next day to take him to a different location for the investigation. Naruto insisted them to have dinner with his group, but they were reluctant as they felt that eating dinner at an expensive place like that was unorthodox for a chunin to do. Naruto facepalmed at their resolve, while Mirai just led out a small laugh.

"We take our leave, Uzumaki-san"

"Sure, Ayano, Sumiko. Take care."

"Bye Ayano-san! Sumiko-san!" Mirai waved as both of them left the place.

"So, let's go to our room, get a change of clothes, and go to the bath?"

"Yes, Naruto-sensei!"

Matsuri greeted Naruto and Mirai as she escorted them to their room.

"Uzumaki-sama, don't you get tired while carrying such a huge scroll?" Matsuri pointed at the sennin scroll, which was being carried by Naruto at his back.

"Used to it, y'know. Why do you ask, Matsuri-san?"

"Just curious, Uzumaki-sama."

After reaching their room, Naruto and Mirai changed to their blue and pink kimono respectively as they headed to the public hot springs.

"Ino-san and Temari-san haven't returned from shopping yet, sensei?" Miai asked Naruto as he nodded,

"Maybe."

He entered the Men's changing room as he got on his towel and walked to the hot springs.

'Something feels wrong' Naruto thought. He didn't knew why but he could sense some strong negative emotions, also, he felt a venomous chakra signature as it grew significantly. As he was about to put his feet on the water, a sudden explosion made him flinch. As he turned at the side, he saw that the wall between the men's and women's bath were blown as smoke and dust polluted the place. Chaos ensured as people started to run away from the scene.

'It just feels like the dream I had….'

Suddenly, Naruto saw something among the smoke, a silhouette, of something which seemed to have three heads. Naruto looked at the 'thing' with a deadly expression, he could feel the venomous chakra, the gust of negative emotions.

But this time, all was real.

'Time to kick some ass, I guess.' Naruto thought as he smirked.
