Chapter 7 - Jasper

"Now what?" I asked Bella. I knew that Bella and I needed to talk about the future.

"Your asking me?" She said.

I nodded. "Yes, I need to know how you want us to live our lives." I told her.

"The rest of our lives?"

I nod again. "Do you still wish to become a vampire? Do you now wish to stay human? I'm sure you'd like to finish your degree. Where would you like to live?" I ask her.

She looks deep in thought for a moment.

After a few minutes, she speaks. "I would like to finish my degree. Yes, I would still like to become a vampire especially if it means spending eternity with you. As far as where I want us to live? I wouldn't mind travelling. I never have." Bella says.

I reach over and cup the side of her face. "I would love to travel. I always wanted to…with the right person." I say, before I lean in and give her a sweet kiss.

"I love you Jasper." She says when I pull away.

"I love you too." I return.

A few days later, Bella and I returned to her apartment so that she could prepare for her classes. Bella showed me around her apartment and told me to make myself at home. Her apartment was nice. She even gave me her spare room to turn into an office.

While Bella was in class, I took the time to call Jenks and have him draw up new papers for Bella for after her transformation. Then I decided to call the one person in the Cullen family that Bella would want to know about her finding me…Esme. "Hello." She said when she answered her phone.

"Hi Esme." I said.

"Jasper. Oh I've been so worried. Are you okay?" She asked me.

"I'm fine Esme. But I have a question. How fast can you get to Texas?"

"Not long actually. Why?"

"I have a surprise for you. But only you." I said. "Please come alone."

"Of course. I'll see you soon."

It was two days before I heard from her again. I gave her directions to Bella's apartment. When she came in I greeted her with a hug as I always had. "Jasper, will you please tell me what's going on?" She asked me. I led her into the living room where we sat on the couch and I began my tale. "You found her?" I nodded. "Where is she?"

"School, right now. But she should be home soon." I said, just as I heard the front door slam shut.

"I'm home now." Bella said, that's when I noticed she wasn't alone. She had Peter and Charlotte with her. Uh-oh.
