Chapter 42 the liberators of Rubicon, Snail meets his end, a battle between Jaune and Mihaly
After Markov fired two Coral missiles at both Earth and Remnant Everyone was horrified by what he just did. On the ship that is leading the Galactic federation fleet, Thermador, Glynda and Winter saw what happened along with where the missiles hit at.
Thermador: it looks like those missiles hit Vale which is on Remnant and Japan a country that is on Earth. The causality seems to be enormous along with many deaths…
Glynda: oh my God…
Winter: dear Oum…
Thermador: we need to hurry to Rubicon and stop this fighting before it reaches a point of no return.
The scene changes to Rhodes Island, everyone on was also horrified by what Markov did when he fired those missiles at earth and Remnant.
Doctor: he's insane…
Flatwell: no he is a monster…
Kal'tsit: do we have any idea on where he is?
Shizu: no we don't but we need to hurry up and find him before he hits the plant and kills us all.
Rothcall: this is the worst situation ever.
As everyone thanks about what to do they soon get a message from someone. That someone is Raven but it wasn't just sent to them but to the rest of people who are still on Rubicon.
Doctor: he's asking us for help?
Flatwell: it looks like he's trying to stop that ship that he's on a crash course to the plant, looks like he's on our side but I still wonder who's side he's on?
Kal'tsit: we'll ask him once we've dealt with the enemy's forces and it looks like he's already trying to locate where Markov is.
Shizu: I say we take it we have no leads but we might gain something from him and there's a chance he's against Markov just like us.
Flatwell: alright then we'll take our after a friend of his probably thinks so as well.
In the hanger bay of Rhodes island the New A.C now revealed to be Steel Haze Ortus, Rusty's newest machine and symbol for freedom on Rubicon. Once he got the message from Flatwell he was surprised and glad on the decision of the decision his war buddy.
Rusty: it looks like you've found your purpose and a reason to fight did you buddy.
Everyone else on Rhodes Island all got the message including most of the Liberation Front also got the message as well they all soon prepares to attack Arqubus forces. Jaune, Rusty and Eren boards there machines and heads to Xylem while the others deal with the factions.
The scene changes to Xylem where Raven is preparing to bring Xylem down. Ayre soon speaks up.
Ayre: Raven. I was able to locate where Markov is, I also made sure to send them the information once they were done helping us.
Raven: … that's good… as much… as I want… to go after that… man… we have to… focus on Xylem…
Ayre: one more thing. I've took the liberty of using your name in order to rally everyone else to our aid. "Beyond scorched skies, Raven fights on".
Raven: …
Ayre: no one was able to change Rubicon as much as you have. Come and see what the name Raven means to them.
Raven: … well then… let's show… them what… that name… represents…
Raven then heads out to his next mission to attack one of the blocks on Xylem. Few hours later Raven's A.C steps through the gates and is then greeted by three machines.

Rusty: looks like the guest of honors here. Hey buddy. I never thought we'd become the liberators of Rubicon.
Jaune: it almost looks like we've became the heroes of Rubicon.
Eren: I never thought this would happen to me…
Rusty: well look alive you two it's happening. Everywhere on Rubicon everyone taking a stand to fight against the other factions. Let's show them there's a future for Rubicon beyond these scorched skies.
Then the four started there mission of attacking the blocks and taking down many of Arqubus's forces as they go through them all as this happens they soon hear the Liberation Front soldiers fighting back against the corporations.
Liberation Front soldier: now comrades push back the corporations, we'll show Raven. The Rubiconians will not lie in the ashes no more!
Jaune: I can't believe what an impact this guy has made…
Eren: man someone was able to do something incredible…
Rusty: lying in ashes was never going to change Rubicon, cinders are alive with Flames once more.
The four destroy another block and continues on as the battle rages outside as both Rhodes Island and the Liberation Front work together against the other factions and are pushing them.
Doctor: I can't believe we're winning against these guys.
Kal'tsit: all of our pilots are giving it there all I think the I.S faction and Huntsmen faction never thought this would happen.
Rothcall: everyone working together huh? That rarely happens…
Shizu: your right on that.
Back on Xylem the four pilots are soon confronted by the cleaner which was used on the grid the four started attacking the machine by aiming for its weak points. They started attacking the mouth and the back, the cleaner soon started attacking them with everything it has but the four continues their assault as they finally destroyed the machine however it wasn't over yet as more Arqubus's air fleet keeps coming.
Rusty: looks like the other factions are not going to give up so easily. I'll handle the fleet, you do what you need to. I'm counting on you buddy, and you two as well.
Then Rusty goes off to face the fleet, while Raven, Jaune and Eren goes to destroy more of the Blocks while Rusty deals with the fleet as they are nearly done they contacted by Rusty.
Rusty: guys we got some bad new something is approaching you guys at high speed it must be a rebuilt Balteuse!
Ayre: he's right Raven! You and the others need to get outside quickly!
As soon the three were about to head outside they soon hear Snail's voice.
Snail: Raven the independent mercenary, your not the dog I thought you were.
Then the machine that Rusty warned them about appeared and prepares to fight them.
Snail: no your vermin!
Eren: so that's Snail… I'm going to make him pay for what he did to Mikasa!
Jaune: your not the only one he has to pay for mocking Michigan and Ren's deaths!
The three then started attacking Snail whose now piloting the new Balteuse as he tries to kill all three of them .
Snail: Xylem is doomed? Good it would be worrying was to happen to the extra Coral we've collected. No your crimes were that you tried to kill me, kill Arqubus. You are all pests and I'll be rid of you!
The three continue to fight against Snail as they damage his machine more and this angers and enraged him even more as nothing he does doesn't stop the three pilots.
Snail: out of my site pests! That traitor , those dogs at command, the pathetic Red fools, the Liberation apes! And worst of all you the pest of Rubicon who stands in cinders! You all sickened me all of you! I'll crush you all under foot, I'M ARQUBUS!
The three continue to attack Snail with everything they got as they soon destroyed his primal armor which left him wide open then they strike at him once they did the commander of the Vespers soon started screaming.
Snail: no… I am… Arqubus... one… last… plan… AAAAAAAGHHHH!
*KABOOM!*
Eren: finally that bastards dead.
Jaune: he finally got what he deserved.
Rusty: sounds like it's over I just about managed to-
*BANG!*
(End of music)
Raven: …Rusty…? Rusty!...
Ayre: I'm sorry Raven but his signal has disappeared. But we must focus and stop Xylem.
Raven: … alright…
Before Raven leaves he sends Rhodes Island the location of where Markov is then he leaves.
Jaune: looks like his trying to stop this ship.
Eren: well we have the information we need lets go back to the others.
Just as the two were about to leave they are confronted by Mihaly who was in his A.C.

Mihaly: hmmm… interesting you the Redgun you seems to have changed a bit a different air.
Jaune: … Eren go I'll handle him.
Eren: okay fine but you better win.
Eren leaves Xylem once he was gone the two began fighting each other.
Mihaly: you've grown stronger. I've heard that Michigan died in the depths. Is it true.
Jaune: yes it's true.
Mihaly: … I see. But it appears you've inherited his will and strength as well.
Jaune: …
Mihaly: there are warrior like you in every generation and I fell every last one of them. Show me what you are made of.
Jaune: I'll show you alright. Here I come!
The two continue to fight against each other giving it everything they got then they both strike at each other with there blades… then Mihaly's machine became disabled.
(End of music)
Mihaly: you truly have inherent Michigan's will.
Jaune: …Mihaly why are you really here?
Mihaly: I'm here to tell you that the Galactic federation fleet is on its way to stop the war that has gone insane.
Jaune: that's… not good.
Mihaly: no it really isn't which is the reason to try and convince one of the factions to stop fighting before its too late.
Jaune knows deep down that it's impossible to stop them since they are both still obsessed with getting the Coral no matter what. Jaune soon help Mihaly's A.C up and started carrying him back to Rhodes Islands.
The scene changes to Markov who is looking at his Coral Machine.
Markov: soon Judgment will be fall all of them. In Flames.
Then everything fades to black.
End of Chapter 42 the liberators of Rubicon, Snail meets his end, a battle between Jaune and Mihaly
That's another Chapter done. The Galactic federation fleet hurries to try and stop the fighting. Ayre sends out a message to the Liberation Front and the people of Rubicon to help. The group succeed in finally ending Snail's life. Rusty is taken out by an unknown enemy that Snail sent out before his death. And Jaune fights and defeat Mihaly. Now on to the reviews.

To ABS120: yup this version is much worse and is determined to end everything. There is a possibility that the BRS Aliens can pilot a NEXT but Fires of Rubicon has zero connections to the previous games. As for Overseer I think they won't let Markov do that, the guy is doing this for revenge while the Overseers are fulfilling the will of there friends.
Okay that is all I hope you all liked this Chapter. Also did you all hear the news RT is shutting down meaning no more new stuff is coming from them anymore. I haven't watched RWBY but I have read the stories on this website but I am disappointed that the people went on ahead ruined the series. If someone does buy it I think they should reboot the series and fill in some plot holes. Also the creator of Dragon ball has died pleas pay respect.
