The sky roaring with the sound of Zeros, Kates and Vals, dropping ordinance from bombs, to torpedoes and rockets. Destroyers, cruisers, battleships and carriers alike were raked and rattled by the unceasing barrage of ammo, wrecks and dead siren pawns littered the entire battlefield. The fox sisters both smirked at each other as they charged ahead, for they knew that nothing could stop...

The 1st Division carriers broke into a mirror sea, surrounded on all sides by yet more Sirens. Neither of the two were worried however, all they saw were targets...lots of targets. Akagi rose into the sky, her flaming zeros already diving towards the nearest Executer class Siren, a Peace Breaker. She tried her best to shield herself from the airstrike, but she was already being incinerated by the cannonade of flaming bombs.
Kaga picked her own targets, a pair of Tracker class Executers, despite attacker together, Kaga easily bashed the two young Sirens around, barely breaking a sweat as she swatted them like flies.

The last of the Siren defence fleet was shattered in minutes by the fox sisters combined firepower, with only the mirror sea mechanism itself left to destroy, the two kitsunes made quick work of it. A last minute wave of Sirens desperately tried to portal in to stop them, but it was no use. As Akagi went to work attacking the mirror sea machines, Kaga easily held off the attacking Sirens.
The whole battle had taken less than an hour, and with no backup or support of any kind; Akagi and Kaga had effectively soloed an entire Siren fleet. Both were feeling pretty smug once they made it back to normal waters. Ready to report back to Nagato on their victory.

As Kaga settled down on her hull for the ride home, Akagi surprised her with a hug from behind. The white fox woman blushed at their closeness, but smiled as she felt her sister purr on her shoulder. While she knew they'd be OK in that battle, Kaga secretly felt good to feel Akagi's presence with her with every victory, joining her in the hug and purring.
