Day 23 Prompt: Not What It Looks Like
Takes place somewhere between Potential (7x12) and First Date (7x14), happens just before chapter 14.
It had started after the big rescue. She'd come down about twice a week with a bag of dirty clothes, and they'd end up chatting on his cot, playing cards or whatever else while her laundry was running.
Then she fell asleep, and little sis came looking for her. With a sodding fire lighter.
Her eyes turned fierce when she saw Buffy in his bed.
"Not what it looks like, Bit."
Dawn looked more closely at her clothed sister sleeping peacefully while Spike was reading from the floor.
She relaxed.
"Fine. Just make sure she's up at 8 for work."
I do love Dawn going all fierce and protective over Buffy. Little firecracker has her sister's back 3
