A wish.
The prize for the victor of the holy grail war.
The reason that masters entered the war.
The reason why they risk their lives.
The reason why they take other's lives
As the winner of the war, the right to the Moon Cell is mine, yet now that I am in the Moon Cell Core, I can't think of anything to ask of the Moon Cell.
A wish is all I have, before the Moon Cell deletes me, winner of the war I may be, but I am also an ERROR, a Digital Human, an entity that shouldn't have been able to exist, yet here I am.
All throughout this war I have been fighting for chance.
The chance to continue my existence.
The chance to survive.
But now that I have entered the Core, that chance for survival has been stripped away.
The Moon Cell has already begun deleting me.
As I feel my existence weaken, I think back to the life that I had, with no memories of anything before the start of the war. I have been alive for just seven weeks, but in those seven weeks I have met people important to me.
I wish i could spend more time with them
Among the Masters I fought in this war I found people with dreams and ambitions, with their own beliefs and morals.
I found friends in Rin and Rani, who helped me even though we would become opponents.
Even though i ended up taking both of their lives
I found another like me, an NPC that gained consciousness, but he only wished for war, killing every Master that refused to wish for the perpetuation of war.
I couldn't possibly do that, this Holy Grail War brings enough death.
I wish this was the last Holy Grail War.
I remember the time I spent with my Servant, with all their eccentricities, She who protected me all this time, with her by my side I felt alive…
I'm scared
I'm scared
I don't want to die
I have only lived for seven weeks.
I have never even seen the real world.
I want to live.
I want to see the real world, to see what they saw, to experience hunger and thirst, to understand why they fought, why they risked their lives.
"I want to live"

I wonder if my wish will be granted…

I feel groggy, like I had been sleeping for a very long time.
My eyelids are heavy and I can't seem to force them open
My limbs are weak, I can't even move a finger.
I can feel my body suspended in a liquid.
I manage to open my eyes just a little, I can see I'm inside a capsule of some sort, the thought gives me a sense of claustrophobia.
I have to get out.
My heartbeat grows louder and faster, but before I can truly begin to panic, I can see someone outside of my capsule.
A young man with blonde hair, wearing a long brown coat and white boots.
He looks at me with surprise, before he says something, I cannot hear his voice.
Seemingly realizing that he places his hand on my capsule for a moment, as if trying to reassure me.
He gestures to someone I cannot see, and I can feel the sleepiness come back.
For a moment I panic again, but he once again places his hand on the capsule, he gives me a small smile, I feel like I can trust him, I calm down and let sleep take me once more.
This time I wake up refreshed, I open my eyes and see a completely white room, I look down at myself and see I'm dressed in a white hospital gown, I try moving my arms and find no sluggishness in my movements.
I hear the door open and move my head to face it.
The man from before enters the room with some documents in his hand.
"How are you feeling"
I try to respond but my voice won't come out, i gesture to my neck and he seems to get what I'm trying to say.
"It's understandable that you can't speak just yet, the liquid in those capsules tends to have that effect but don't worry, it should only last for another day at most."
I nod my head in acknowledgement.
"I'm sorry, I have yet to introduce myself, I'm Leonardo B. Harway, I'm the one in charge of the facility you are in right now, a medical magecraft research laboratory owned by the Harway group."
"You being here is quite a surprise you know? After all, it was just yesterday that the Homunculus creation chambers were installed, yet while inspecting them today, I found you inside one of them, and your data entered in the system."
"Kishinami Hakuno, Female, age 17, Height: 160 cm, 45 kg, no known contacts."
He looks at me, looks like he is trying to see if that data is correct, I nod my head, he seems satisfied with my answer.
"I see, can you remember any one we might be able to contact?"
I pause for a moment and try to remember, I remember taking part in the Holy Grail War, the existence of Masters and Servants, Mystic codes, struggling to survive, and I remember making a wish, but I can't seem to remember a single name. I shake my head, he seems somewhat troubled.
"Mm…. I see, I imagine that is to be expected, as far as I can tell you didn't exist until today…. Which would make you an homunculus, but that isn't possible in this facility, we only have the knowledge to create artificial organs, and those are still not complete enough to be usable, and besides the medical exams we took clearly show you to be just a 17 year old girl, one with impressive magical circuits, but still not an homunculus."
"Alongside your data, we found a file with data on different applications of magecraft and technology that could potentially speed up our research by several years, so I imagine it must be some form of 'payment'. The importance of this data leaves me feeling like I have been given far too much in exchange for just having you appear in this facility, so if there's anything i can provide for you I will do so without hesitation."
He hands me one of the files he was carrying, it seems to have some more information on me.
"There were no contacts, but there is a property to your name, in Fuyuki, Japan."
"I will come again tomorrow, you should be able to talk by then, you can choose to stay here, and i will provide for you as a member of my family, or you can choose to go to Japan, I should be able to provide you with whatever papers you may need, as well as with money should you require it."
As he leaves I look over the file once again, it seems I own a large house with a backyard, a shed, and…. a dojo? Whatever the case, I'm pretty sure I ought to go there. I don't fully understand the situation, but I can tell that this is meant to guide me over there.
Left alone once more I try to remember how I got here but the last thing I remember is making a wish.
Growl~~
I put my hand over my belly, it seems I'm hungry…. Then just like he said, I'm human now, in the Real world. Was that my wish? Regardless of that I'm a little happy at the confirmation my stomach gives me.
The door opens once again and a staff member brings me some food and water, as I eat I can't help but try and savor all of the ingredients in the meal. Drinking some water I can feel it trickle down my throat, such a pleasant sensation. Content after having my meal, and my mind made up I drift off to sleep once more.
