Poor Scootch.. if you want you can give him virtual hugs he'd appreciate that but now we are at the day of the appointment and Scootch is still a nervous wreck will he be brave enough for the shot? Read along to see!
*It is now morning time and see Wanda wake up*
Wanda: Ok kids time to get up we have to get ready for Scootch's doctor appointment! *Goes into Scootch's room* Scootch? Where are you? *Goes into Pinch's room and sees her cuddled up with Scootch* Pinch have you seen- awww isnt that adorable?
Pinch: *Wakes up* Huh? Oh good morning mom
Wanda: Why were you sleeping with your brother?
Pinch: Scootch had a nightmare about the doctor last night so he came into my room and I told him he could sleep in my bed with me
Wanda: *Picks up Scootch still sleeping* Oh you poor thing..
Scootch: *Wakes up* Good morning mommy!
Wanda: Good morning dear I hope you're ready for your check up today
Scootch: *Remembers the nightmare he had and hides* No! I dont wanna go!
Wanda: Scootch you have to go I promise you Dr Molar is nice! You remember her from your last appointment right?
Pinch: And mine remember? Shes very nice!
Scootch: No!
Wanda: *Picks him up* Come on now sweetie we have to go or we'll be late
Scootch: Uh uh! *Leaves her grasp and hides again*
*The doorbell rings*
Wanda: Pinch will you go get the door please?
Pinch: Alright *Opens it and its PB&J* oh hi guys!
Jelly: Hey Pinch hows Scootch doing?
Pinch: Not so good.. he had a nightmare about the doctor and now hes hiding so he doesnt have to go
Peanut: Oh no.. can we help?
Pinch: Im sure my mom would appreciate that
*The kids go upstairs near Pinch's room*
Peanut: Oodelay Mrs Raccoon can we help get Scootch to come out of hiding?
Wanda: That'd be great Peanut
Jelly: Tell him you'll get him ice cream after the visit!
Peanut: Yeah thats always worked on me and Jelly when we were younger and didnt wanna go somewhere
Wanda: That could work.. hey Scootch if you come out and go to the doctor we'll get babbleberry ice cream! What do you say sweetie?
Scootch: Ice cream?
Wanda: Yes ice cream!
Scootch: Yay! *Comes out* ice cream!
Wanda: Alrighty lets go to Dr Molar's boat! You ready to go Pinch?
Pinch: Yep!
Wanda: How about you PB&J? Did your parents say you could come?
Peanut: Yep! They said it was nice of us to help out Scootch
Wanda: Well they're absolutely right! You 3 are such good kids!
Butter: *Blushing* Thank you.. *Giggles*
*They go outside to visit Dr Molar's office boat*
Jelly: Dont worry Scootch it'll be over before you know it!
Dr Molar: Next!
Wanda: Oodelay Dr Molar im here for Scootch's appointment
Dr Molar: Terrific! But why are PB&J here I already gave them their checkups last week and where are their parents?
Jelly: Mama and daddy said we could come with the Raccoons!
Peanut: Its so we can help Scootch feel better about his appointment
Dr Molar: Thats very nice of you kids! *They go into her office* now just have a seat over there and I'll be right back *She leaves to get her equipment including the shot*
Scootch: *Hugging Wanda scared* I dont wanna be here..
Wanda: Now now honey dont be afraid things will go by smoothly like last time!
Scootch: No! *Hides under the chair*
Peanut: Scootch dont be scared! Dr Molar is a professional she wont hurt you!
Dr Molar: *Returns* Ok lets get start- hey where did Scootch go?
Jelly: Hes hiding under the chair
Dr Molar: *Sees him* Hi Scootch remember me?
Scootch: Uh huh..
Dr Molar: And you remember how we did it last time right? *Gets him out and places him on the examination chair* (Or whatever its called but you know the thing in the doctor's you sit on thats long and has paper over it)
Scootch: Yes..
Dr Molar: Well we'll be going through the same procedure as we did last time ok?
Scootch: Procedure?
Dr Molar: Meaning I'll be doing the same thing to you I did last time like checking your heartbeat and checking your ears
Scootch: O-ok..
*She does the normal check up procedure we've all been to a doctor I dont need to explain lol*
Peanut: How is he Dr Molar?
Dr Molar: He is a very healthy young raccoon Peanut! Seems to get plenty of exercise
Pinch: He does unfortunately..
Dr Molar: Unfortunately?
Pinch: Yeah hes super hyper he always runs into stuff and breaks them!
Scootch: Sorry sorry my fault..
Dr Molar: Hehe I see what you mean now *Rubs Scootch's head* he just gets very excited it seems
Scootch: Yeah yeah!
Dr Molar: We're almost done but there is one more thing we have to do
Jelly: Uh oh..
Dr Molar: *Gets syringe* Scootch have you ever heard of a vacc-
Scootch: AHHHHHHHHHHH *Jumps into Pinch's arms*
Jelly: He knows doctor and hes very scared of them..
Pinch: He even had a nightmare about it last night!
Dr Molar: Thats ok thats perfectly normal every kid is afraid of getting their first shots
Peanut: Some still are like Munchy
Dr Molar: *Shows Scootch the syringe* You see this? This is what we call a vaccine there are many kinds for various diseases to help your body protect itself better like this one for instance is for the flu which is what you'll be getting today
Scootch: *Has flashbacks to the nightmare he had last night* YAHHHHHHHHHH *Runs out of the room to the lobby*
Wanda: No Scootch come back! *Runs after him*
Peanut: Theres gotta be a way for him to get his shot without him panicking..
Jelly: I think I know what this calls for!
Dr Molar: What?
Jelly: A noodle dance!
Dr Molar: Noodle dance?
Jelly: Yeah the dance you did when Butter had her dentist appointment remember? It gets your brain going!
Dr Molar: Oh yeah I remember now! Ummm can you show me how to do it again?
Jelly: Its easy! Just dance however you want and eventually you'll get an idea!
Dr Molar: I think I could do some noodling! It sure helped me last time with Butter!
Peanut: I'll use my noodle but dancing is off limits..
Jelly: Oh Peanut you always say that then end up joining us!
Peanut: Well this time I mean it-
Jelly: Ok whatever you say.. *Knowing he'll join in as always* come on yall lets noodle!
*They all start dancing and as you guessed so does Peanut*
Chorus: Noodle! Use your noodle! Noodle! Do the noodle dance! Use your noodle use your brain!
Jelly: *Gets an idea* I got it!
Peanut: What- what happened what!
Jelly: Maybe we can get a giant fountain and if you swim in the water it'll make you immune to every disease!
Peanut: Great idea Jel do you know where we can find that?
Jelly: No I thought you did..
Peanut: Not a clue.. you Pinch?
Pinch: Nope sorry I havent heard of that..
Peanut: Hey I know why dont we just let Scootch *drink* the medicine inside the syringe so that way he wont have to get the needle put into him!
Jelly: Yeah like the medicine we get when we catch a cold!
Dr Molar: Unfortunately kids the medicine in this is not safe to drink if he drank it it could be fatal
Peanut: Oh..
Dr Molar: Well there is one way I get kids to remain calm while getting their shots
Pinch: Whats that doc?
Dr Molar: We get something to distract him while I put the shot into his arm
Peanut: Like what?
Dr Molar: Does he have any toys he brings with him?
Pinch: No our mom didnt bring any
Peanut: Oh I know we can try to make Scootch laugh while facing away from the needle!
Jelly: Good thinking big brother but how do we do it?
Peanut: *Whispers something to her ear*
Jelly: Ooooooooh ok!
*Wanda comes back with Scootch*
Wanda: Ok I got him and he doesnt have any energy left to run
Dr Molar: *Places him back on the seat* Perfect now we can give him his shot
Peanut: Hey Scootch look over here!
Scootch: Huh? *Looks to his direction*
Jelly: You will never defeat me Lord Gravy! I Commander Casserole will stop you!
Peanut: Nonsense! No one beats Lord Gravy in a funny face contest! *They start doing funny faces and noises while Scootch laughs and gets distracted*
Wanda: Haha what are the kids doing?
Dr Molar: They're getting Scootch to not pay attention to the shot going into his arm so he doesnt panic when I put it in him
Wanda: Ooooh thats smart thinking!
Jelly: You're good but are you.. THIS good! *Pulls out the silliest face she can do*
Peanut: AHHHH- no! Its too silly! Im.. too weak to go on.. *Faints*
Dr Molar: *As Scootch was laughing she gave him the shot* Annnnnd done
Scootch: Huh?
Dr Molar: I gave you your flu shot
Scootch: You did?
Dr Molar: Yep told you it wouldnt hurt it only feels like a slight pinch
Pinch: Yeah?
Dr Molar: Oh not you Pinch I meant the shot feels like a slight pinch
Pinch: Oh ok
Wanda: See? That wasnt so bad now was it honey?
Scootch: I guess not!
Dr Molar: You are all set Scootch you were very good today *Rubs his head* do you want a lollipop?
Scootch: Yeah! *Takes* thank you!
Wanda: Thank you very much Dr Molar and thank you kids for helping Scootch not be so afraid of shots!
Peanut: No problem Mrs Raccoon!
Pinch: It was our pleasure mom!
*Later on they're all eating ice cream*
Flick: Mmmm I love me some babbleberry ice cream! I love it almost as much as babbleberry pie!
Munchy: You said it!
Peanut: What did you put in your ice cream Munchy?
Munchy: Wood shavings! It really adds to the flavor
Flick: Wood in ice cream?! Thats nasty!
Munchy: Dont knock it till you try it Flick! *Offers it to him*
Flick: Ew no you can have it!
Munchy: Suit yourself *Licks* so how did the doctor visit go Pinch?
Pinch: It went great! PB&J helped calm Scootch down while he was getting his flu shot and now he feels much better!
Jelly: Me and Peanut acted out Commander Casserole and Lord Gravy making silly faces and that distracted Scootch before he noticed the shot being put into his arm!
Peanut: He ran and hid a few times but in the end he realized shots are nothing to be afraid of! Isnt that right buddy?
Scootch: Yeah!
Flick: Im surprised he was that calm after experiencing the horrors of shots! Who knows if you even got the right one they probably used you as an experiment!
Everyone: Flick!
Flick: Im just kidding guys! Cant anyone take a joke these days! You're all wusses..
Pinch: You still havent apologized to Scootch for scaring him yesterday!
Flick: Cheese and quackers you're STILL on that?!
Jelly: Yeah Flick you scared poor Scootch to death!
Flick: Alright alright im sorry I didnt mean to make it sound so scary
Scootch: Its ok! I forgive you!
Flick: Good cause I dont need anyone being even more mad and start drama!
Betty-Lou: Hey kids hows it going?
Jelly: Hi Mrs Beaver! We're just enjoying ice cream after Scootch's doctor visit!
Munchy: Did you need something mom?
Betty-Lou: I just came by to tell you Munchy that Dr Molar called to remind me of your appointment tomorrow
Munchy: Ummm.. ok.. for what?..
Betty-Lou: You're getting your measles shot!
Munchy: Sh-sh-shot?! Uhhhh n-no thanks mom.. I already had my shots..
Betty-Lou: Yes but not your measles one
Munchy: No I dont wanna get stabbed again! *Runs to chew on a tree* its too scary and painful!
Peanut: Looks like we'll be heading to the doctor again Jel!
Jelly: Maybe Scootch can teach Munchy a thing or 2 on how to be brave!
Scootch: Yeah I can! *They all laugh*
