It's been 2 days since Kin's brother Asten came to visit and she's been taking notes and observations in class but she's also been writing notes in her diary about her little crush on Jaden who has no idea about her feelings
[June 5th]
(Dear Diary, Today I was learning how to play Deul monsters Jaden taught me the rules and I'm even building up my own card deck...but I digress, I tend to wonder...does Jaden like me at all? I wish I knew the answer to that question) Kin wrote down and closed her diary with a sigh
'Not only that...' Kin thought to herself as she looks at Jaden who was fast asleep in his bed bunk as 'he's completely oblivious to my feelings towards him' Kin thought to herself
She put her diary in her desk drawer Kin got into the top bunk and pulled the covers over her as she slowly closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep with no prior thoughts
The next day...
Jaden woke up from a pillow being thrown at him and yawned seeing Kin already up and about "wake up we don't want to be late for class" Kin said pulling on her slifer red jacket "Gotcha" Jaden said with a yawn
Jaden licked his lips feeling the dryness as he quickly got ready for Duel school "I think you should be able to buy up a few cards so you can have a full deck" Jaden said seeing Kin looking at her growing deck
"I'll get some from the school store after class" Kin said as they walked into class as Jesse and Syrus waved at them to sit next to them as Crowler started the class
"Now I'm sure you all know that there will be a test coming up soon so you must study hard...if you fail there will be a retake test...which is what the headmaster said" Crowler mumbled the last bit to himself
"A test seriously" Jaden said with a sigh as he bumped his head on the table "if you need help studying I could be of assistance" Kin said with a noticeable smile on her face making Syrus and Jesse look at each other with knowing looks on their faces
"That sounds great...thank you I will be forever grateful" Jaden said grabbing her hand and smiling Kin looked away flustered as a slight blush made it's way onto her face
"Oh well since class is over we should probably get going now" Jaden said "Your right" Kin said as she walked out from behind the table only for Jesse to trip her on purpose making her fall backwards in panic
Jaden reached out to catch her but ended up falling on top of her making the other students gasp as Kin's eyes widen in shock and she blushed immensely...why?...well...Jaden's lips landed on her's
Jaden was just as surprised as she was and pulled away flustered "I'm sorry Kin I swear I didn't do that on purpose are you ok" Jaden said slight panic in his tone but Kin was currently stuck in her own thoughts at the moment
'H.he took...my first kiss...my soulmate kissed me...though it was accidental...it's still counted as a first kiss...but it's embarrassing since all these people saw it' Kin thought to herself as she covered her face flustered
"Kin are you ok...please respond" Jaden said as Jesse and Syrus fist bump "so glad that plan worked" Syrus said whispering to Jesse "yeah it was getting on my nerves they obviously have feelings for each other" Jesse whispered to Syrus
Later...
After that embarrassing scene Kin and Jaden went to the dormitory to study for the test that was coming up Jaden always had a hard time with tests he was glad to have some help for once
"I don't get it" Jaden said as he looks down at the study guide "what don't you get" Kin said leaning close to him making Jaden's heart pound in his chest at the closeness of Kin "this part" Jaden said pointing at the part in the study guide as he glanced at her
"This part isn't that hard it should be rather easy, do you want me to show you" Kin said as Jaden's eyes wandered down to her neck and her gulped swallowing the saliva stuck in his mouth 'does she know how she's affecting me' Jaden thought to himself as he tried to keep his composure
Kin pinched his cheek making him hiss in pain "your not even paying attention while I'm trying to explain to you" Kin said with a deadpan expression on her face "sorry I got distracted" Jaden said nervously
"Hm...I'm sure my face is very distracting but please pay attention I'm supposed to be helping you study" Kin said scolding him slightly with a smirk on her face
'ah she caught me staring at her face' Jaden thought to himself "Ok sorry...what was it again, I'll pay attention this time" Jaden said as he focused on studying instead of goofing off like he usually does
Later...
After they finished studying Jaden was sleeping and Kin sat at her desk pulling out her diary to write down what had happened earlier in the day
[June 6th]
(Dear Diary, Today I was in class and I asked Jaden if he needed help with studying and he said yes, then something incredible happened...I was tripped by Jesse, who I will thank and scold later)
(And Jaden went to save me from falling but fell on top of me instead and his lips slammed against mine...it was kind of embarrassing since other people were watching but...the kiss felt nice) Kin wrote in her diary
Kin didn't notice Jaden wake up to get a glass of water only to notice Kin was writing in her diary "what are you doing?" Jaden said making Kin abruptly close her diary making Jaden flinch at this
"Woah you ok, did I startle you" Jaden asked concerned "I'm fine...I'm going to sleep" Kin said putting her diary in her drawer and going to sleep in the top bunk
"..." Jaden fell silent as he looks at her sleeping form, Completely forgetting about the water he decided just to go back to sleep
