Chapter 8 Nat's Secret

Natasha's point of view

"Tony, we need to talk… come down to the meeting room and bring the others with you"

"Where's Clint?"

"He's down there already"

"OK"

Tony's point of view

We went downstairs. We went into the meeting room. Clint was sitting in there. There were two people with them

I turned around and started to stomp back upstairs.

"Tony, where are you going?" Pepper asked

"As far away from this crazy charade as possible"

"Why?"

"Look in there. Those two pretenders… SHIELD agents pretending to be my parents."

"Tony, they really are your parents"

"I will not believe it, not without using Veritaserum."

Howard's point of view

"Mr and Mrs Stark, I'm afraid that Tony is reluctant to see you without verification…"

"Verification?"

"Yes, you will submit yourself for questioning under Veritaserum or you will get out and not return" said a furious voice. Tony was standing outside the door scowling up a storm at us.

"Very well, questioning under Veritaserum it is."
