Chapter 17
"Nathan stop! Please!" Brooke exclaimed.
When the gun went off and didn't fire anything.
Lucas pushed Nathan off of him. And grabbed the gun.
Only then realizing it was fake.
Nathan started to laugh. "It was a stupid joke okay. I admit it."
"I didn't know who was here. I didn't recognize the car."
"For all i knew someone could of been trying break in and rob this place." Nathan replied.
"What about when you saw us in here?" Brooke asked.
"You need to leave. Get the hell out of here!" Lucas exclaimed.
"Why him Brooke? Why not me?" Nathan questioned.
"He's everything you're not. That's one of the reasons i love him."
"I need you to move on. Otherwise we can't be friends." Brooke proclaimed.
"I'm sorry. You mean everything to me." Nathan replied. Before leaving.
Once he left. Lucas locked the bedroom door.
It was only then did Brooke grab onto Lucas.
"He could of hurt you. I couldn't handle that."
"I wanted us to come here and for us too." Brooke swallowed hard.
"Hey this is on Nathan. No one else."
"What happened with us in this room. Before that was unforgettable. Beautiful. Changed things between us forever. And i don't regret it." Lucas proclaimed.
"I don't regret it either. I just love you so much." Brooke replied. The emotion in her voice thick.
Brooke eventually fell asleep. Which gave Lucas a chance to think and process what happened.
He took a quick shower. Got dressed in new clothes and quietly left the bedroom.

He used Brooke's cellphone to reach out to Nathan.
He agreed on a meeting place. And left to meet Nathan.
...
The two met at the bridge. Nathan wasn't surprised to see Lucas.
"If i let Brook go. Will you stop of all of this?" Lucas asked.
Nathan smiled. "Now look at you thinking smart."
"Yes just break up with Brooke and i won't cause trouble for her. Its simple easy."
"Brother to Brother. How was she in bed? I've always wanted a turn." Nathan asked.
And that is when Lucas lost his composure and punched Nathan before going back to the beach house.
