Dear Diary,
Well, school goes on. I'm busier then ever, ever since I decided to make a "Dream Dress". My teachers told me I didn't need to take on the extra work, but I want to do this. Gabriel has been so helpful. He can't do the work for me, of course, but he gives excellent advice.
Adrien is doing better too, though he's still in therapy. On the really hard days, he stays at the bakery with my parents, which is way better then being home alone. Which means I get to see him every day now, he hee.
I'll write soon, Diary,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
Chloe threatened to splash my dress with paint today. My pink dress that is, not the secret dress I'm working on. I reminded her that every dress is different, and that it won't help any. She walked away in a huff. I know she's jealous. Frankly, I kinda feel sorry for her. Maybe she wants a friend, but its not the way to get attention.
Adrien and I had a homework date today, but he just lounged on the floor and made cat puns while I worked on history. Oh, well. I want to see him feeling better, or should I say, feline better, hee hee…
I'll write soon, Diary,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
Today was a hard day. I woke up missing my home more then ever, the home I left behind in China. I told my mother I was confused, for isn't Paris my home now? She told me it was natural to feel like this at times, but at school that restless feeling came back stronger then ever. In fact, it made me cranky enough I snapped at one of my teachers, which is why I'm writing this in detention.
Its never been this quiet, Diary.
I'll write soon,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
Well, guess who found out about my dentition. No, not my sweet Adrien. My parents. Sigh. I'm grounded for a week, and even though I'm allowed to sew, no Starbucks. Boo.
Even if I'm mostly secluded to the confines of my room, I love hanging out with the Kwamis. Barrk, the dog Kwami, is fascinated by my computer and loves to watch movies. I wonder if she knows about Adrien's commercial coming up soon?
Signing off,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
Guess who snuck me a Starbucks before school? Claw Noir. Yes, my lovable fleabag is the best. I couldn't go another day without my fix, Diary. I couldn't. Claw swears I turned from an evil Princess to a kind and gentle one as soon as I took the first sip of my mocha with extra whip. I told him he shouldn't push his luck, and he scrambled out. Wise of him.
Though being grounded sucks, I'm making little outfits for the Kwami's in my spare time. I'm worried what Plagg might think, for he's a mischievous Kwami, always getting into his cheese. Hm, if I made a block of cheddar for him to wear, do you think he'd eat it or wear it?
I'll let you know, Diary,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
Adrien's commercial played this afternoon! Ah, I am so happy! Radiant, carefree, dreamy. Adrien, the Fragrance. When I am free, I am so buying a bottle. Gotta go, Diary, I must confess I'm been watching the commercial on repeat instead of doing my homework.
Marinette
Dear Diary,
Ah, Freedom! My punishment is up, and I hopefully have learned when to hold my tongue. Adrien came with me on my errand to buy the fragrance, but my jaw dropped when I saw the price tag. I think I'll stick with at drooling, I mean, watching! The commercial instead. Adrien assured me that catnip smells better, and I asked him how he knew that.
So far, I haven't seen any evidence of catnip, but who knows what that naughty tail gets up to when I'm not around?
I'll write soon,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
I thought maybe Claw was sick when he came over this afternoon. When I looked up from my magazines, his eyes looked funny, and he gave a weird little meow. At first, I was afraid he'd hurl on the bed, but nope, he launched himself off the bed, and did zoomies!
I gave myself a stomachache, I was laughing so much. So, this is what catnip does to cats, it makes them crazy! Oops, gotta go, Diary, Claw just crashed into my mannequin…"
Bye for now,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
After picking up my room, Claw and I headed downstairs for supper, and while we waited he fell asleep across my lap. Guess all those zooms, wore him out. Hm, does that mean he'll be to tired for puns on patrol?
Mama and Papa love having Claw here, but they reminded me about homework, so he had to leave early. I kicked him out soon after dinner, as hard as it was. I want him to keep visiting me.
Marinette
Dear Diary,
My teacher loved the picture I drew today. A drew a fairy with a ball of yarn in one hand, and a sewing needles in the other. I called it my Knitting Fairy Dress. When I was younger, I would watch Ya-Ya, (my grandma) work on her needlepoint for hours, and I thought it was like magic. She laughed, and told me it wasn't magic, but the patterns that you create could be magical, if you worked hard enough. I loved sewing right from the start, even though I had my fair share of tantrums. But what self-respecting toddler doesn't once awhile?
I have to run to swimming now.
I'll write soon,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
Swimming today was so much fun! Though I'll never forget its the first time when I saw the Supreme. Chloe was absent today, and Adrien and I got into a bit of splashing fight. Guess who won? Me!
Bye for now, Diary,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
I'm writing in you as I wait for Adrien. Boy, does swimming give you an appetite. At lunch, Adrien said I was hungry enough to eat a cockroach, and I nearly lost my appetite. Let's say, he had to buy a coffee for me after school.
He seems so much happier lately, and I'm glad. After school today, I'm going to suggest a walk.
Bye for now,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
The walk this afternoon was nice. But Adrien cried when we were sitting by the stream. He was fine one moment, and crying the next. I held him close, whispering words of comfort. Luckily, the tears didn't last long, and he lay his head in my lap, listening to the beat of my heart.
We're going to watch a movie now, and he's waiting downstairs. I'll close these pages for now.
Marinette
Dear Diary,
Dear Diary,
Finding Dory might just be one of my favorite movies. I love the humor, the colors….. Adrien was quiet, but he laughed at the movie as well. Mama just walked in to make supper.
I'll write soon,
Marinette
Dear Diary,
I'm so sorry I'm neglected you these past few months, Diary. You got lost in the packing, but now that I've found you, I'll try to write often. I countine to work on my Dream Dress, and our teacher reminded us that there's a fitting tomorrow for our projects. I hope my dress fits me, or it will be some late nights.
-Marinette
Dear Diary,
Sigh. Okay, so my dress was a little tight at the fitting, so its eyeing me from my sewing desk. That's tonight's project. Homework is piling up as finals loom on the horzion. I love school, but still wonder about the future. Hopefully all this work isn't for nothing. Homework calls, Diary. Even if its with a needle and thread.
-Marinette
Dear Diary,
Today we had a hard test. Whew. My head is pounding and I just want to lie down, take a catnap. I think Claw may be rubbing off on me. Speaking of Claw, he poked his head in from my balcony, begging to get ice cream. Nap or ice cream? Ice cream wins every time.
-Marinette
Dear Diary,
Claw and I went on patrol tonight. Yes, I know there aren't any villains prowling around Paris, but we like patrol. Claw must have found some new puns, because I was laughing so hard, I nearly spat out my hot chocolate. Good times, good times.
-Marinette
Dear Diary,
After school I helped my parents in the bakery. I wanted to earn some extra money to buy Adrien a gift. Though what that gift is, I don't know yet. But I'll think of something.
-Marinette
Dear Diary,
I'm knitting Adrien a scarf! Its not a cold weather scarf, but a fashionable one. And I love the color, a light blue. The only problem is, I'm terrible at keeping secrets, and Adrien knows something is up.
-Marinette
Dear Diary,
I gave Adrien the scarf today. He didn't know what to say, and I told him to try it on, which he did. He looked handsome. Though that boy could wear a potato sack and still be cute….
Floating off to Cloud Adrien,
-Marinette
Dear Diary,
You'll never guess what Mama and Papa bought me. No, you'll never guess. Adrien, the Fragrance. They bought me a bottle.
I was all excited, but when I spritzed, I didn't like the smell. Diary, I am so disappointed. I confessed to Adrien, and he laughed. He's grabbing me a Strawberry Frappe right now, such is my sadness.
-Marinette
Dear Diary,
I have recovered from my fragrance woes, as Adrien's magazine shoot came out today. Whew, its a little steamy in here! How does one be that cute, for I don't see him eat vegetables often.
-Marinette
Dear Diary,
Finals are coming soon, so I'll have to close these pages for now, Diary. Its nice to write when I have no one to talk to.
Talk to you soon,
Marinette
