Kaguya waited for an answer from her friends.
The four of them blinked at her simultaneously.
Kaguya stared back at all of them.
Botan was the one who broke the ice; "Um, yes. Let's get something to eat. What place do you have in mind again?"
"That little café aways down the block." Kaguya answered. "But if you don't want to go there, we can go elsewheres."
"How about Yusuke's Noodle Stand?" Yukina suggested.
"Well, I haven't seen him in awhile..." Kaguya responded, not sounding like her usual chipper self, but then her mood suddenly rocketed upward. "That sounds great! Let's go see him!"
"You do that." Hiei spoke up, getting up. "I'm out of here."
"Same here." Kurama then had stated right afterward. "I'm afraid I have other things I must attend to. Far more important matters to attend to than having lunch with you ladies. You ladies enjoy yourselves."
With that, not much was left said from either two as the two males took their departure from the apartment.
The ladies stood there in piqued astonishment.
"Leave it to the boys to just walk out and leave us!" Botan remarked. "The nerve of them! How rude!"
"Yeah..." Kaguya looked to Yukina. "Yukina-san, since Hiei is your brother and all... May I ...have a word with you?"
"Oh, sure, Kaguya." Yukina sat down, smiling.
"I uhh... Well..." Kaguya cleared her throat as she began blushing a bright red. "Hiei took my innocence from me."
Yukina blinked. "Huh? How?"
Botan's eyes bulged as they widened. "WHAT!? YOU TWO HAD SEX!?"
Yukina stared at her ginger haired friend. "So, that's why you seem different."
Botan walked over to Kaguya. "Let me see. Lemme see. Let me look." She reached towards Kaguya's neck.
Kaguya reeled back out of reflex. "Don't! It'll tickle!" She squealed and fled to the other side of the room.
"Oh, don't be silly! Let me see!" Botan insisted. "I need to know whether or not he had marked you!"
"Well, he did leave behind one nasty scar. He had bitten me during our little rendezvous session." Kaguya moved the hair of her side pony tail, having relied upon her hair to conceal the mark. "He's a real jerk."
The fairy cracked up at the sight.
Kaguya became incensed. "Stop laughing! It's not funny! He tried to murder me, I think, and in the most awful of ways! I have never felt so used in all my life up until now!"
"At least it was you and not me!" Botan admitted.
"Oh, Kaguya. I am so very sorry my brother had did that to you!" Yukina tried to be consoling.
"You do know what that means, right? When a demon claims you?" Botan asked Kaguya.
Kaguya became nervous, hesitant to come up with an answer. "He's marked me to be an intended target?"
Botan snickered. "No, silly!"
"Uhhhh..."
"It means he is attached to you."
"Like an attachment?"
"Yes, but only for eternity!"
Kaguya's eyes bulged. "WHAT!? HELP ME!" She flailed.
"Calm down, Kaguya!"
"CALM DOWN!? HOW CAN I!? I AM PRACTICALLY MARRIED TO A SOCIOPATH AND SADLY THERE'S NO WAY TO FILE A DIVORCE!"
"It cannot be that bad!"
"NOT THAT BAD!? ARE YOU CRAZY!? HE HATES ME! HE SO FUCKING HATES ME! HE FUCKING HATES MY GUTS AND HERE YOU ARE TELLING ME TO CALM DOWN ABOUT THIS!?"
"Maybe Hiei did it in order to protect you?" Botan assumed, likewise throwing a possibility to her troubled friend. "I don't think he hates you that much, but then again... It could have been the heat of the moment for him when he had done that."
Kaguya calmed down some. "I wish I knew why he did it."
"For now, just consider it as a love bite. A token of... appreciation if that makes you feel any better." Botan suggested.
Kaguya sighed. "I guess... I guess it could be worse... But what does this claim mark entail? I mean, what are the stipulations of this thing on my neck?"
Botan tried her hand at enlightening her friend; "Well, for all that what I am aware of, that mark is a special mark. A love bite is what we call it, and when a love bite occurs, like yours, it means the one bitten belongs solely to the one who had bitten them. Hence: claim mark. You and he have formed an attachment with each other, binding yourselves to one another. As Yusuke would put it: You're Hiei's bitch."
Kaguya stared at her, having become bug eyed.
Yukina shifted her gaze back and forth between the two ladies, unsure as to what to say now.
"Jeepers peepers, Kuwa-chan. I'm sorry. I really am. I mean, Hiei did what he did to you. You will have to take this issue up with him. Not me. Sorry." Botan apologized.
