Chapter 8: More Romance at Roosevelt High
While I'm heading to the lair, another portal sucks me up again. I soon reappear at the past Roosevelt High, and see a small poster which says, "Prom Today: Musical theme!" I think, "Either years or months have passed.."
I soon feel a hand grab my hand, then hear, "Donnie! You going to prom with me?" I smile, knowing that it was Tyler, I turn to face him, put my hands on his cheeks, and say, "I definitely will, dear." He puts his hands on my front shell, running his fingers down it, and says, "I can't wait for tonight!"
After several hours, I'm at Tyler's house, we're both getting dressed in tuxedos in separate rooms. I have the help of his older brother, Sam, who asks me, "So how'd you and my younger brother meet?"
I look at him and tell him while tying my bowtie, "We met when Chad and some other boys wanted to beat him up." Sam smiles, puts his hand on my back
shell, pats it and tells me, "He goes on and on about you, man.
After half an hour, me and Tyler are at the prom, and a teenage girl walked up, and says to Tyler, "Hey Tyler.", Tyler smiles at her and says, "Hey Jenny." I look at the girl and see that she looks a bit like April. She asks Tyler, "So how's it been since we broke up in 8th grade?" Tyler grabs her hand and tells her, "At first I missed you.. Until I met my sweetie here." he says while releasing her hand and grabbing mine.
Jenny walks away, and once some music starts playing, Tyler takes me to the dancefloor, looks into my eyes and asks, "May I have this dance?"
