Ever since Donnie put him and his brothers in that machine not only were they more smart but even had a successful mission. It wasn't til he and his brothers dawned the purple masks in place of their own that he found himself unable to get Kara out of his mind. He glanced down at his latest equation to see he had drawn her face instead and stared at it for the longest time til it moved and gave him a smile. He shook his head and blinked to see it went back to normal and closed the book, his cheeks flushed, "Heart racing, warm face, pupils dilated, sweaty palms..this can only mean one thing: I have to see her."

That night while everyone was asleep Leo created a portal to Draxum's lair and snuck through the shadows in search for her. Hearing a woman's voice singing he followed the voice to a closed door and leaned against it to hear better; finding it to be almost hypnotic. When the singing stopped though he cracked open the door to see a room with a large pool in the center, a running waterfall above it, and some scenic decorations to make it look like a pond. He observed the surroundings, leaning in to get a better look, noticing a phone and Bluetooth speaker playing music on a low volume on top of a towel, a group of shampoo bottles and his eyes slowly widened in realization but it was too late for Kara resurfaced from the water with a gasp. Luckily her back was to him so he couldn't see anything but that didn't stop him from staring, his face completely red.
She walked over to the waterfall and lifted her head up, eyes closed, feeling the warm water run down her face and ran her hand over it to get her hair out of the way.
Thinking now was a good time to leave before he saw anything he went to move but slipped from the steamy ground and gripped the door making it move and creak.
She walked out from the waterfall when her antenna's twitched, hearing the sound and looked at the door to see it cracked open and raised a brow, "Baron? Is that you?" When no one answered she walked towards her towel and stopped her music, "Muninn? Huginn?" She got out of the water, wrapping the towel around her, and walked to the door but when she exited and looked around she saw no one. Thinking nothing of it she went back to retrieve her phone and speaker before heading to her room.

First things first, her wings unfolded to their full size, spraying water everywhere in the process to get the excess water off and began to flutter them to dry them then began to change into a tank top and shorts. Once dressed she began to dry her hair carefully, her antennas being sensitive to touch then sat down to dry her wings off using a hair dryer on the lowest settings but still grimaced her heightened hearing being a burden at times like this.
It was when she was struggling to reach the part of her wings that touched her back that she felt a hand over hers taking the hair dryer from her, "Looks like you could use some help." She quickly turned around to see Leonardo but did a double take thinking it was actually Donatello, "Don-wait-Leonardo? What are you doing here? Why are you wearing that? How long have you been here?" Her face was flush from the bath but now that one of the turtles was here without her realizing it flared even hotter, her wings moving to cover her body.

"Ever since my brothers and I have become intelligent I've been unable to get you out of my mind so I came to see you." He gave her a smile while moving closer to her casually drying the part of her wings she couldn't reach.

"How did you know I was here?" Despite the friendly gestures and his cool composure she felt herself unable to relax around him, keeping her eyes on him going back and forth from his face to his hands.
"You're with Baron Draxum; it's obvious he would reside in his own lab." He set the dryer down and gently ran his fingers over her wings, this causing her to shiver and making him smirk. He moved in front of her taking her hand in his and placed it against his lips, "Come back with me. We can help you. I can help you." When she said nothing, not even making eye contact, he leaned close with his face to her ear and whispered, "I can make you human again." He closed his eyes with a smile hearing the softest gasp, this going accordingly. He leaned back and waited patiently for her to process the news.

Her eyes played pong in their sockets while her mind let his sentence sink in, "You really can?"

"Indubitably."

She stood up and walked past him towards her bed, picked up the brooch from the nightstand and clipped it to her shirt, "I appreciate you wanting to help me, it makes it feel like we're friends, but it's unnecessary." Her hand was hovering over the brooch til she finally pressed down on it.

Leonardo smiled thinking he was successful but stopped at her last words. He lifted his head up and froze in horror, eyes widening in shock.

"You won't tell anyone about this and will forget it." She pressed the brooch again and her wings were immediately out, blue mist coming out, and flapped her wings, the mist flying at him.
Once he breathed it in he began to feel tired, swaying sideways til he felt light as a feather.
Kara caught him before he could fall, now asleep, and held out her gem to create a portal to his home, placing him in his bed before leaving him behind.

"The Foot Leaders said one of the pieces was located here." Baron explained towering over the Zoo on his vines with Kara fluttering beside him, her hood covering her face from the blinding sunlight, "Take care of any humans on that side, I'll handle this one."

She nodded and flew above the humans, spreading her powdery substance over anyone beneath her, both animal and person succumbing to her sleeping dust. Once she had completed her task she flew back to Baron to see the gargoyles already in the act of retrieving the piece, now standing next to Baron. She glanced back at the two people and animals, a rhino and boar, caught in his vines watching the mutated mosquitos fly around and wondered if he would be mutating more people but to her surprise he swatted one away that came close to him. She raised a brow at this, remembering all of his talk about mutation and stuff, and wondered if it wasn't that important anymore. One of the mosquitos flew up to her so she held her hand out, letting it land on it, and gave it a little pet til a loud thud snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Stop right there, sheep creep." Raph shouted, he and his brothers appearing before them, he pointing dramatically at them.

Baron turned his head slightly to see it was them while Kara blinked in surprise not at their arrival but the disco ball spinning at the end of Donatello's staff. "Well, if it isn't my loser creations." Baron groaned, unimpressed.

Leo got in front of Raph to say something but he lost his train of thought to see Kara lowering her hood and staring right at Donnie's disco ball with big, sparkling, anime eyes with a look of pure awe on her face; this causing him to stutter. Raph and Mikey were cupping their cheeks at her cuteness.
"So pretty.." She whispered in awe, her wings fluttering and lifting herself up to go towards the sparkly and shiny globe, a cute chittering noise coming from her throat, but Baron grabbed her by the back of her floof without even looking at her, as if he has had to deal with this before.
Donnie couldn't help the blush coming to his face thinking how adorable and nonthreatening she looked.

Leo shook his blushing head to clear his thoughts and went back to pointing at him, "A-Anyways, we are sick of your whole mutating humans dealio. We are kicking you out of..New York." Leo's voice lowered when Baron snatched the flying piece from it's nesting spot and created a portal the four of them walking through without giving them a second glance, dragging the still tranced Kara behind him. "We.. we did it."

"Oh. Well clearly the sight of my disco ball scared them off. You are welcome and you are welcome and you are also welcome." Donnie smiled, pointing at each of his brothers.

"What is that psycho up to." Mikey pondered while rubbing his chin.
"Well, the metal he grabbed was mystic so maybe he-"
"If we find more glowy metal that's where we'll find Draxum! Yes!"

"Assuming they haven't scurried off again when they see my terrifying disco tech!" Donnie shouted he and his brothers running off unaware of the crow pecking at the dead oozequito, it's eyes suddenly glowing completely green.

While Draxum went off somewhere she was left with the Foot men, who were wearing their disguises, sitting in the back of the van with them as they were heading to their base watching the scenery til they arrived. She stood up, her cloak covering her body and placed her hood over her head before stepping out behind them and looked up at the "Foot Shack" sign, rolling her eyes thinking the name was lazy but said nothing and followed after them. It was when she happened to glance to her side that she did a double take seeing April was here. She began to grow nervous wondering if she knew anything about what was going on not paying attention to the two kids running around til they bumped into her causing her to stumble into a worker carrying a tower of shoe boxes, them beginning to fall towards April and the chubby, hairy kid she was holding for some reason and instantly grabbed the worker with one hand, pulling them back to their feet, and reached over using two hands to stop the boxes from tumbling on top of them, not noticing the two looking her way and gasping to see two pair of hands on one side. After making sure the worker was ok she turned to the other two, sliding her hands back inside the cloak, "Uh are you two ok?"

"Yeah, we're fine, just helping this...teenage boy with his kicks." April smiled nervously up at the stranger finding their voice to be oddly familiar.

"Winx!"

Kara snapped her head towards the Foot leaders and sighed, "I gotta go. Bye." She gave them a nod, smiling at April under the hood and stepped inside the large door after the leaders, the smaller one slamming the door shut, it locking behind them.

She stayed off to the side while they removed their disguises, sitting boredly as they began to discuss their next plan til her antennas twitched, hearing the sound of someone groaning in pain and tilted her head towards the platform off to the side of them. She squinted her eyes hearing a gruff voice, finding it very familiar, and began to climb the stairs.

"Splints, someone is coming." April whispered while both of them huddled together, she looking for somewhere to hide or escape.
"No, I am too old and far too weak."
"For what?" April grew frantic, seeing the top of their head and decided hide in the darkest corner, til the person stopped before they reached the top, their phone going off. They stayed completely still and silent til the person could be heard walking off and leaving the room all together, April sighing and going limp in relief til Splinter began to share the terrible news of what the Foot Clan were doing.

Kara removed her hood once the sun had set and let out a sigh of relief, flying through the air with the cool, nights breeze brushing her cheeks, this feeling calming her mind from having to go back and forth to report to Baron about the Foot Clan. She began to ponder taking a day off and exploring the Undercity, maybe visit the library when her body suddenly froze, the hairs on her floof and arms standing. She felt her heartbeat racing and wondered what had gotten into her when she first heard the flap of rather big wings and then the caw of a bird.
Her eyes shrunk in horror, slowly turning her head to see a large mutated bird flying right at her, its glowing green eyes boring into her. Her breathing became rapid, her instincts telling her to flee, which she complied.

Mikey, Leo, and Raph were clinging on to the mutated bird trying to find a way to save Donnie from being fully eaten.

"Hey, a text!" Mikey reached in his shell while clinging to the winged arm of the bird, reading the text, "Awww, dad loves us." He smiled at the text, eyes showing love.

"Focus! We gotta get Donnie and the crystal back so we can find Draxum." Raph pointed at the bird's head after climbing it's side to look at his brother, Leo speaking while clinging to it's chest, "Thanks for the newsflash, wait, why is it changing direction all of a sudden?" He asked noticing it picking up speed til he and his brothers heard a scream and looked up to see Kara in front of them, flying away as fast as possible.

"It's going after Kara!" Mikey shouted in worry, this getting Donnie to poke his head out from one of the bird's nostrils, seeing it was indeed after her, the bird now flying upwards.

Kara's body wasn't listening to her, wanting to flee as fast as it could to safety til she felt the charm on her bracelet hit her arm and looked down remembering her weapon so she began to fly upwards while pulling it out, trying to get some distance between them til she turned around with it raised, eyes narrowed in anger, "I'm not afraid of you!" She shouted moving to give the killing blow til her eyes widened when she not only saw the guys holding on to it but Donnie in it's mouth, this not only causing her to hesitate but for the bird to get close enough to try and take a bite out of her but she pushed herself up and ended up hitting it's wing that Mikey was on and rolling away til he reached out and grabbed one of her hands, them sharing eye contact. He gave her a sad yet hopeful smile while she stared at him in shock til she looked back at the bird, now with a look of determination and let go of him, free falling til her wings expanded out, steadying herself.

"Alright, let's get this bird out of the air! Start pulling feathers!" Donnie shouted, all of them going into a frenzy and pulling out as many feathers as they could til Kara flew up behind them, planting her feet on the back of the bird's neck, moving her scythe where it's neck and body meet, "Curl up, Donatello!" She shouted making him squeeze his eyes shut, she hoping he did so, and sliced through it's neck, the head falling first; Donatello still inside. She began to grow worried til he began to hover with his tech making her sigh in relief til the body began to free fall next, the others letting go in the process.
"Nows a good time to tell dad we love him back!" Mikey said through teary eyes while texting him that til Kara swooped in saving them one by one having to hold onto Raphael with two hands, grabbing Michelangelo with her scarred hand and Leonardo the other one. She struggled to keep them steady, trying to reach the ground safely but they were too heavy for her all of them crashing in front of the Foot Shack, she letting go and rolling a few feet away from them.
"We did it! We beat that thang!" Mikey lifted his head with a smile til he sat up and actually got a look at the dead body; blood oozing from it's body and head.
"Too bad that wasn't the mission." Raph pointed out til he noticed Mikey's face and glanced at the body too, his own jolting at his first look at a dead body and quickly got himself out of it and placed his hand over his little brother's eyes.
"Wait, where'd Kara go?" Leo, trying his hardest to ignore it as well, asked all of them looking around til they spotted her slowly picking herself up, her body trembling, her back rising and lowering at a fast rate indicating her breathing was rapid.

"You're ok. It's not gonna eat you. You killed it so stop. shaking. You're fine!" She clenched her hands angry at herself that her body won't listen to her despite the danger being gone but no matter how much she tried to tell herself she was fine her body still shook.
It was when she felt a hand on her back that she looked up, startled at the touch, and gasped to see Donatello next to her giving her a worried look, the others coming up to him with the same expression. Why do they keep doing this to her? Why do they keep trying to save her when she's done nothing but hurt them. She looked behind them at the dead body and her eyes lowered knowing they probably thought of her as a monster now, that end result now being a norm for her and yet Michelangelo moved beside Donatello and reached his hand out to her with a warm smile, this causing her to widen her eyes, not feeling her hand steadily reach up to his only for her to slam it on the ground, her gem glowing, and fall through the portal that opened beneath her; landing in front of the train station.

Mikey and Donnie sighed in disappointment til Leo bent down between them with his hands on each of their shoulders, "Don't worry, guys, we'll get her back eventually, we're slowly getting her to trust us again."
"Yeah, she saved us after all, that's definitely a good sign! I just wish she would of gave us a clue on where Draxum is though."
"I don't think she would tell us even if we asked though." Mikey looked at Raph with a pout.

"Oh yeah, back to the mystic metal. You know, when we were plummeting I saw some a few blocks away." Donnie stood up, typing in his wrist computer til Raph picked him up with a shout, "Yes! To the tank! Donnie back on top!" He slammed him back in his position at the top of the Turtle Tank, securing him in all the while Donnie protests, asking if anyone wanted to take his place but it was too late for they were flying to the location of the mystic metal.

Kara found herself in front of the train station and took a deep breath to calm herself before stepping in, seeing a bunch of scrawny looking ninjas wearing the ridiculous looking sandal pumps 'looking' for the next piece. She silently flew up to the clock and blinked when one of the ninjas, a rather short one, beginning to climb it. She raised her eyebrow curiously watching another ninja distract the others, "What is going on?" She thought til the short, chubby ninja pulled one of the hands off, "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" She asked softly, staring at the ninja with glowing eyes, the darkness of the empty train station shadowing her body til she blinked seeing the next piece being held by a tail, "A tail...wait..Splinter?" She whispered, her eyes widening, each of them staring at the other with Splinter trying to remember who she is, "How..do you know-"
Their thoughts were interrupted by the Turtle Tank crashing through the window and creating a huge hole in the wall, she grabbing Splinter and flying out of the way while he yelled in surprise.

"What?!" The bald Foot Leader and ninjas were shocked at the crash, though he was more annoyed at the interruption and the recruits antics.

"And he sticks the landing!" Leo shouted, climbing out of the vehicle.

Kara's antenna's twitched hearing Splinter speak under his breath at the sight of his sons, "So it is him..what's he doing here?"

"Mystic Metal!" Donnie pointed with a shout, Raph coming into view above him, "Just as I planned. Wait, what are the flame heads doing here?"

"Excellent! Randal has the artifact." Buff, bald Foot Leader said.

"Hand it over, bozos, we got a bigger fish to catch with that." Raph stated, using Donnie's hand to point dramatically.

"Bigger than us? That hurts. Attack!" Foot face ordered, his minions attacking, Kara staying in the shadows to see what was going to happen, her eyes on Splinter, watching the loud recruit run up to Splinter.

"Let the boys distract them. You and I can jet."

"You can jet." He handed her the armor piece, "Take the piece and get out of here. I must remain to ensure the Foot clan never rebuilds the armor. Do not try and talk me out of it." He blinked when she wasn't around and saw her clumsily cart wheeling down the stairs to the platform. Kara calmly followed after the loud ninja without anyone noticing.

"Oh, I wish I could fight with the fam but Splints is right; those creeps can't get the armor piece." She stared down at the piece only to blink when someone was standing in front of her and jumped on to the seat ready for a fight only to stop when a mutant moth was staring at her with a frightened look on their face, "April?...No..no y-you shouldn't be here. You shouldn't be a part of this!"
April began to grow confused about their freak out when she saw the different colored eyes, hers slowly widening in realization, "Ka-"The train began to slow to a stop when suddenly purple vines stabbed through the walls going for her but blinked again when Kara began to slice them in half when they got too close, "Wait, Master, listen!" She shouted, sweat sliding down her nervous face. April watched her, growing nervous herself til the lights began to flicker not knowing there were more coming from behind her til it was too late, getting captured despite Kara's intervening.

After Splinter gave his sons a beat down through a lesson the Foot Leader ordered the other recruits to search for the artifact that Randal dropped til vines began rising from the ground, lifting the Turtle Tank from it's front, only to let go and stab the ground where they were all at forcing them to scatter and dodge; the train they were on now above ground.

It dinged before the doors opened revealing Draxum in person and Kara behind him with her head lowered in sadness while rubbing her upper arms. Splinter hid from his sights.

"Are you mad?! That little stunt could have killed us." The brains of the operation shouted, stomping towards Draxum.

"Baron Draxum? It's like a bad guy convention." Leo said with a smirk.
"Once again my plan worked." Raph smiled with pride before falling on to the ground, this surprising Splinter.

"The boys who claim they don't like me you sure are clingy."

"Wait a minute you're working for these jerks?" Raph questioned.

"Correction; we are working together." He held out his hand with a wide grin, "Except for this one, stealing our property." The vines brought a tied up April into view this making Kara flinch, Draxum pulling out the piece.

"Unvine the traitor so I can show her how we treat people who betray the Foot." Splinter shouted while swinging a sword around.
"I really like this Randal kid." The buff Foot said with a smile.

Kara grew nervous watching the two and realized he was going for Baron. She didn't want them to get caught but she couldn't let them hurt her Master so she got in between them. With her weapon out she blocked the attack just as he was getting close to April and shoved him back, this causing his back to spazz out, but no one paid attention for all eyes were on her.

"What?! What is the meaning of this!?" The sharp toothed Foot Leader shouted, enraged but before she could respond Baron had his vines around her throat, lifting her off the ground, "Yes, tell me what exactly you think you're doing." The vines began to tighten making her gasp for air, grabbing on to them to try and pull them away, "N-Not...her." She managed to let out, "Please, I'll do a-anything. I'll go..ack to Bi-hig Mamas, I'll t-train for a month straight but please, don't hurt her!" She begged, tears streaming down her face, struggling to breath, "Sh-she's my friend.."

The guys, Splinter and April watched in shock as she begged for April to be spared, the guys not knowing it's April, and began to grow worried, moving to intervene when her eyes began to roll to the back of her head til Draxum did the unthinkable and let her go, she dropping to the ground gasping for air while slowly crawling towards April and moving over her to untie her restraints, beginning to whisper to her, coughing in the process, "You have to get out of here, please. Don't involve yourself in this." She gave her a sad smile while helping her up and nudged her towards the guys but blinked when Splinter jumped up and sorta ruined the moment.

"Ok, give me a quick ten, I'll be right with you." He began to hum the conga theme while shaking his booty and in doing so straightening his spine and blowing his own cover, the guys revealing who he was.
Kara sighed while placing her hand over her face thinking the pain she just went through was for nothing.

"Wait!" Baron snapped his head towards Randal who immediately began to protest but it didn't help for the vines already captured him, Baron removing the mask to show Splinter's face, this getting another shock reaction from the guys.
"You call this gutter trash father? As if this could be the great Lou Jitsu."

"I have been living large long enough. I shall no longer deny my destiny. Hot soup!" Splinter broke free of his restraints, this causing Baron to have a flashback from when Lou Jitsu was human and fighting in the Battle Nexus, "That same fire. I see it now. You ARE Lou Jitsu!"

While everyone was having their own freak out at this news Kara took the piece and moved to place it in her pouch while April ran up to the guys, "Psst. Guys over here." She removed the mask only to get another shock reaction from them.
"April's a villain?!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Yes, I mean no! I'm undercover with your dad."
"That makes more sense." Mikey responded with a nod.
"Let's trounce these bozos." April said with a grin all of them charging towards the enemies.

Kara turned around to see the paper ninjas being destroyed and Raph charging for Baron shouting, "Power smash jutsu!" With a gasp she shoved him out of the way, taking the hit for him.

Raph's eyes slowly widened when his fist made contact with her stomach, his smirk changing to a gasp watching her face twist in pain, spit and a little bit of vomit coming out of her mouth from the force of the attack before she was thrown into the wall, cracks forming from the hole that was created. The piece flew out of her hands and landed on the train tracks, a train rolling over and damaging it.

With a yell more paper ninjas were creating, all of them flying towards a traumatized Raph and gang.
"We have to grab that!" Splinter shouted, pointing at the piece, which snapped Raph out of his thoughts.
"There's too many of them. We gotta go!" He grabbed his dad and everyone else running towards the oncoming train, Splinter shouting, "They must not get the armor!" just before the train left with them on the back.

Baron Draxum glared at his fleeing foes, fist clenched tight, "Last time you get away that easy, Lou Jitsu."

"Master!" Muninn shouted, grabbing his attention he and his brother hovering over the knocked out Kara.

Draxum walked up to her, watching as they land next to her head, gently shaking it to wake her up, "You think she's gonna be ok?" Huginn asked, looking up at him worriedly. Baron said nothing and instead lifted her up, holding her close to him, "You did well, Kara." He closed his eyes and turned around to see the Foot Leaders narrowing their eyes at him, "Is the great Baron Draxum beginning to turn soft?" This caused him to glare at them, "What I do with my subordinates is the least of your concern. How is the next piece?" They walked up to the broken metal and watched it fix itself.

"Thank you, my sons, and might I add...you are all grounded!" Splinter shouted after giving each of them a whack on the head.

"What?!" They all exclaimed, he continuing.

"For not telling me you knew Draxum!"

"Come on, what about all of your secrets?" Leo asked, rubbing his head.

"No! I will not ground me for my secrets! But I will tell you everything...but first..who was that girl?"

"It was Kara, wasn't it? So it's true..she really did get mutated." April looked at them worriedly all they could do was nod, "How did she get mixed up with Draxum though?"

"She went willingly." Donnie began, his brows furrowing as he recalled the incident, "She didn't trust us, was scared of us."
"We hurt her." Mikey continued, lowering his head in shame.
"Now that I did that to her, she'll probably never want to see us again." Raph looked down at the fist he used to hit her it beginning to tremble.

"Hmm..I sensed she is having a battle with her inner demons. She has suffered, yes, but there is still hope in her."

"Yeah, the moment she knew who I was she tried to save me. You all saw it!"

Splinter watched them remembering she even recognized who he was and saved him too. His brows lowered going back to the scene where he staged to attack April but was going for Baron instead only for her to intervene...his eyes slowly raised in realization; she knew it was both of them and was trying not to get their cover blown. Deep down she still cares for his sons and their family, "My sons, our destiny begins tomorrow and we are way behind. Now...someone carry me! I can hear my bones rattling!" He exclaimed, holding his arms out for uppsies.

"Stay here with her while I take care of this." Baron gently laid her down in his bed while Huginn and Muninn tended to her wounds while wearing little nurse outfits before walking through a portal back to the Foot Shack where the Foot Leaders were waiting for him.
Walking down the hidden stairwell they entered a large, wide cave decorated with candles that lit up as they passed them, lighting the path to an opening where the armor was being put together.
Baron and the Foot Leader held out their pieces and they bound together like a magnet before the Leader walked up to the armor and held it out, watching as it placed itself where it belonged, the force causing the fire to go out on the candles.

An ominous force was slowly being awoken.
