Fooled you once more! FOUR parter, baby! HAPPY NEW YEARS! Author's Note: Things are gonna get daaaaaarrk...hope the creators will be proud of me x3
Dropping to the ground with an, "Oomph!" Leafe dragged herself from her emptied scooter and gave it a gentle pat, "You drove bravely, my friend, leave the rest to me." She shakily stood to her feet leaving the downed scooter and raced inside the stadium, sliding to a halt while covering her mouth at the destruction that was left behind by that creature. "T-They're not here. Did I miss them?" She let out a frustrated scream before pulling out her phone one more time, "Please. Please answer..." Placing the phone to her ear she waited.
"This is Donatello."
Confusion. Frustration. Defeat was clear on the faces of the turtle gang as they walked the destructed halls of the stadium.
"Ok, what just happened there?" April shouted, overwhelmed, "I thought Shredder was an evil samurai dude not some raging animal!"
"Is he coming back? I vote never." Mikey hunched his shoulders feeling anxious at just the mention of the psycho.
"I do not know if it's coming back. Whatever he or 'it' was that is not the Shredder I heard tales of." Splinter removed his cast from his arm, already healed.
"I'm not sure we can handle that guy." Donnie said low with tiredness in his voice.
"What're you guys talking about? We did great!" Leo said completely unphased by the whole ordeal.
"What fight were you just in?" Raph questioned in annoyance; arms crossed.
"The one where we made scrap metal run home to its toaster mommy. Wait, we gotta commemorate this." Leo snagged a merch shirt and wrote over it with sharpie, writing, 'Mad Dogs 1. Shredder 0,' and put it on. "1 n 0, baby!" He posed with his hands at his hips somewhat bringing life back to his team.
"You declare victory too easily, blue! Humanity has never seen anything so destructive and you are making t-shirts?!" He disciplined Leo by smacking him square in the face with his tail, he dizzily falling to the floor.
Donnie watched his brother drop as if it wasn't anything new til the sound of his gauntlet beeped to notify him of a call, in fact, there were quite a few missed calls/messages, "Wow, one season later and I still got a full battery. Nice." Recognizing Leafe's number he answered, "This is Donatello."
"Oh, Donnie, I'm so glad to hear from you! Are you guys ok? What was that thing? Where are you guys?!" Due to her relief she bombarded them with questions.
"We're in section B of the stadium. There's not a lot of time to explain." He responded.
"I'm in the field. Wave to me so I can find you guys."
Having been on speaker Raph looked over due to being the tallest and saw the petite girl nervously scanning her surroundings and gave a wave. Upon finding them she perked up, changing into her yokai form and climbed the seats with ease before turning back and gave each of them a hug, even the girl and rat whose she's never met, "That thing was scary! I'm so glad you're not seriously hurt!" She stepped back to see their looks of surprises and blushed, hunching her shoulders and rubbing her hands, "O-Oh, was I not suppose to do that? I know we don't know each other that well but I'm relieved that you're ok..ugh this is why you don't have any friends, Evelyn..." She muttered the last part to herself only to stop to see them smiling at her, this causing her blush to darken.
"Soooo why are you here? In case you forgot it's not safe for people to be here." April said, this reminding everyone how weird it was to see her.
"O-OH! Yes! Why I'm here!" She let out a breath to calm herself down and turned to Donnie, "I need to see Kara Sharper immediately. I've come across a weapon that could help you guys take down this creature, but it's tied to Kara only. She needs to come with me to complete their bond and fight alongside you."
"Wait, Sharper?!" Splinter shouted in the background, but no one paid no mind to him.
"That..might be a problem.." Raph rubbed the back of his head nervously, "She was hurt. Bad."
"H-How bad?" Leafe's brows lifted in worry as the small interactions they had played in her mind. Despite the distractions of her memories, she could see the hesitation and nervousness on their faces. She clenched her fists and took a step forward, "I can treat her! I've done extensive research on both plants and insects. I can heal her just tell me where she is."
While she wrote down the directions Donnie was telling her to get to their home his device began to go off again, "My police feedback is going totally berserk. Something major seems to be going down."
"Ok, then that's where we're headed. Leafe, see if you can get Kara up and moving to help us with this beast. We'll do what we can." Raph stated, she giving him a nod. "Please, be safe, you guys." She gave them a smile before they went their separate ways.
Arriving at the lair she stopped for a moment, her mouth agape in awe, "Incredible.." She muttered to herself only to smack her cheeks, "Get it together, Leafe, you have a job to do." She switched back to her yokai form and rushed for their medical kit and made her way to Kara. Standing right next to her she felt a ping of heartache, "Oh, Kara, you were so kind to me upon our first meeting..who could do such a thing to you." Tears welled in her eyes at the state she was in before inhaling sharply while puffing out her chest and cheeks, "Right. Let's get to work."
While Leafe was working on treating Kara's physical body, her mental self was having an out of body experience, finding herself in a familiar location, "The lab? But why..." She slowly took in her surroundings when she came across a pod with a body in it. Upon closer inspection her eyes widened to see her human self inside, "No...not this memory.." She turned her head hearing a noise to see Draxum entering the lab with the gargoyles on his shoulders.
"She will become my first warrior in my mission to take over the humans." He began pushing buttons on the console til he lifted his head slightly when she had woken up and began to bang on the glass. He watched her for a moment before pulling a lever, releasing his mutation ooze and stepping to the side to watch the transformation.
Her eyes shrunk in horror as she watched her transformation, "He was staring right at me..I knew he did it but..he watched it happen.." She placed her hand on her head, gripping her hair some as her eyes trailed to the ground as she took in this memory but when she lifted her eyes she was in another memory of them training. He was relentless in turning her into his perfect warrior. While her body was on her hands and knees covered in bruises, sweat, and cuts her 'spirit' had her attention on Draxum, who was staring down at her weak body with disdain, her back and shoulders raising with her heavy breathing, "You've improved slightly. It seems you've yet to abandon your humanity; it must be done in order to become stronger. You want to show those turtles that betrayed you, don't you?" He bent down beside her, his eyes boring into her, causing her to tense up in fear.
Her breathing became heavy, shoulders shaking as she had to endure her harsh memories of being under Draxum's care to the point where they fought. What little memories of him being kind to her were outweighed by his indifferent, cold treatment. "He never cared. I let myself get used and become something I didn't want to be.." Her brows narrowed and hands clenched tight to the point her knuckles were losing color; She was pissed.
"Wake up, Kara."
Her eyes widened yet her vision was becoming blurry as a body of light moved towards her that sounded familiar to the point of tears and yet no answer came to her. Feeling her conscious wakening she turned her head where the light and voice was coming from, below the light she saw a pair of rainboots.
"WAKE UP."
Her eyes shot open, slowly sitting up as if she were the dead come back to life. Her head slowly moved around the room to see she was alone and climbed off the bed she was in and immediately grabbed her weapon and glove. She stared at it, moving her fingers deep in thought before her wings snapped out of its cloaked form and created a portal not paying attention to the sound of something crashing behind her and flew through the portal before she could be stopped.
Kara zoomed through the skies in search of Draxum, eyes scanning her surroundings before making another portal and racing through til she had covered the whole city. Not finding him so easily was adding fuel to her anger and created a portal for the docks, flying through. She scanned the area and clicked her tongue only to hear the boys and an animalistic screech as well as fireworks that caused her to cover her ears in pain but flew towards the source of the noise anyways.
Tickling seemed to be one of the Shredder's weaknesses and tickling was what they were doing.
"He likes it. Shredder likes it!" Raph shouted as the beast bellowed in joy from their act til the sound of an explosion snapped his attention away from them, colorful sparkles decorating the skies startling it.
"The fireworks! He's distracted by the fire!" Mikey shouted as it let out a rabid cry and charged towards it leaving the turtles midair.
"Stop him before he gets to the people on the boat!" Raph ordered, he and Donnie racing after it.
"I'm on it!" Mikey shouted, his weapon becoming longer as he swung it around, the end part wrapping itself around a cargo ship, "Whiporama!" He said as he pulled on it, sending the ship crashing through cargo boxes and past his brothers who stared at it in awe. "That's amazing, Mikey!" Raph shouted, Donnie only able to let out a low, "Woooaaahhhh," before his distraction caused him to slam into a pole.
Shredder was unphased by it though, crashing through its metal side and creating a clear path of carnage to the other side causing it to rip in half and explode only to be met by Raph's mystic fist slamming down on him, bringing him to the ground. Still in the air, Raph, inside his mystic body, maneuvered himself to land on his feet inches from the ocean water his fist becoming even more large. "Come and get it, Shredface." He growled as the beast charged forward with no hesitation, letting out it's animal like screech. "Power punches, ahoy!" Raph shouted as he brought his fist down on the creature once more, the impact cracking the ground around him and sending broken rubble into the air. Despite the clear evidence of his powerful attack Shredder was unscathed, in fact, he was keeping the fist at bay with its back alone. "Uh-oh." Raph muttered as it stared into his eyes and let out a low, rumbling chuckle before sending him flying and crashing a ways away, his mystic body dissolving.
Shredder crouched low with one hand to the ground, his ribbon like tentacles on his back crackling with purple electricity. Something flew towards Shredder, smacking him in the face til Donnie crouched in front of him, staff in hand. "All of my tech is standing by. And I mean all of my tech." He stood up, placing his staff over his shoulders as every piece of technology he made was around him waiting for its command, even the drill making an appearance.
This, for some reason, agitated Shredder even more, clawing at its face while screeching its cry, but charged at him regardless.
"Eat science!" Donnie shouted, pointing his staff at Shredder, his tech flying at him but nothing seemed to stop his rampage, even the drill had little effect. "Sad face, emoji!" Donnie yelled before screaming in fright while turning his back to flee but his drone shell was taking too long to ready which gave Shredder enough time to grab his ankle, throw him down, and start clawing at his battle shell, ripping it to shreds.
Before he could finish the job though a portal appeared above Donnie, who was screaming in terror thinking it was the end, and Kara ripped through, weapon out, slashing at Shredder with a yell, and sending him flying away from Donnie. "Huh. What. Kara?" He slowly sat up but her eyes were on Draxum alone, eyes narrowed in a glare watching him flail around to get to his feet, roaring at her. "So, you finally became the animal you wanted to be, Draxum."She gritted her teeth while clenching her fists around her weapon and when it jumped to attack she quickly turned around and spread out her wings, the eyes on him, causing him to let out a screech and slide to a stop. It began to move around trying to find a way to attack it but with each flap the eyes seemed to blink and never leave him.
"Can you stand, Donatello?" She asked, keeping her eyes on Draxum.
"Y-yeah. What are you doing here?" He moved to stand but blinked when he got a good look at her; seeing the bandages around her head and patches on her arms it was clear Leafe managed to get to her in time but she shouldn't be moving. His eyes moved to her face to see the lines under her eyes had darkened to the point that not only did her eyes stand out but it gave her a villainous vibe.
"I'm going to get rid of this problem once and for all." She turned around to face Draxum, not knowing he was no longer inside the armor and spun her weapon in attack mode but blinked when she felt a shift in the air and lifted her head up in time to see a cargo box flying past them and smack right into it, sending it away from them. She turned towards the crane to see April operating it, her brows lifting in surprise til she heard the screeching some more and turned around to see it completely destroy the crates it crashed into and raced towards it with weapon raised, each of them attacking the other, nothing but steel colliding against metal is seen between the two, both fighting in a blind rage. Whenever Draxum was faster she would use her wings to startle him and give her time to retaliate but it seemed to more she uses that method the more enraged he became to the point he grabbed her weapon mid-swing and crushed the blade in his hand as if it were an egg. Her eyes widened in shock as metal shards flew between them and when he reached for her she quickly turned around to startle him once more but he had enough.
"We gotta help her!" Mikey said, he and Donnie watching the two fight just as Raph was coming to. "Did we beat him yet?" Raph groaned while rubbing his head to see Kara fighting him instead. "Come on, guys, we can't have her fight him by herself." They nodded to each other and went to move til Kara's yell caused them to flinch to see her getting pinned to the ground by Shredder's foot, her broken scythe sliding out of her grasp.
She reached for it, knowing any weapon was better than none, looking up to see the turtles running towards them til she froze in fear when she felt his hand grip her wings. "Wait.."
She slowly turned her head to look at him, pupils shrinking as she felt a pulling sensation on her back. "Stop..." She began to struggle, thrashing under his foot but he used his other hand to pin her head down as the sensation became painful. "Baron, DON'T!" Tears gathered in her eyes trying to look at him but all she could see were the guys rushing towards her in a panic til she let out an ear wrenching scream as her wings were ripped from her back.
Shredder raised his hand which had the wings, the guys frozen in horror at what they just witnessed watching Kara scream into the ground, her body trembling from the amount of pain that was rushing through her body, the air stinging her open, bloody wounds before she was kicked into the ocean.
"KARA!" They all screamed, Donnie running to her rescue while Shredder's eyes were on Raph and Mikey. Before they could make a move though, fireworks were set off above them from behind which sent Shredder into another frenzy, flying past the two towards the sparkling explosions only he wasn't able to get to them for purple static surged through his body and he was teleported away, leaving behind a total city black out, yet the teens on the yacht paid no mind; enjoying their youth and party while sailing away with loud cheers.
"What is taking Dad and Leo so long?" Mikey asked, pure exhaustion written all over his body, his weapon sitting on top of his head in flames.
"I knew splitting up the Mad Dogz was a bone-head idea. Leo probably talked his way right into Big Mama's dungeon." Raph said, holding the area below his breast plastron in pain. April gathered with the others as Donnie resurfaced with Kara over his back, gently laying her on her side so she could cough up any water she inhaled. He went to touch her back til his eyes laid on her wounds causing him to flinch.
"W-What should we do with her?" Mikey asked in a nervous whisper.
"We can't leave her here." April said while taking off her jacket and beginning to pat down her wounds so it doesn't get infect.
"But we can't bring her with us either." Raph countered.
"Leafe won't make it in time." Donnie added, looking at her glove to see the gem was cracked.
Raph was the first to move, gently picking her up and moving her inside a toppled over crate. "She'll be safe here til we can come back and get her." The others looked to one another not liking the idea but knew they had no choice. April ran next to him and placed her jacket over her back. "I'm sorry." She said just before they ran off to find Shredder's next location.
Mikey looked at Donnie and placed his hand on his arm in a comforting way but he said nor did nothing.
It had begun to rain when they arrived at its next possible appearance, the Mad Dogz huddled in a circle in an alley.
"After inputting Shredder's previous coordinates on th and D, for Donnie, Axes, I have calculated that this is the site for our final resting spot- I mean, go team?" It was clear this fight was taking a toll on all of them and not just physically.
A static charge and roar of thunder caught their attention, worried it might be Shredder, they standing up to fight, "Oh my muffins!" Donnie shouting, til Splinter dropped from the portal and Leo stepped on him, holding a collar like device. "You love us. You missed us. We're back, baby! Rat Jitsu and Blue saving the day!" He said loudly, the confidence still there as he held out the device.
"It's about time! We're getting our butts kicked after you left us high and dry." Raph said, annoyed.
"High and dry? Come on dudes, when I said 'You got this' I meant that. Look, I bet the only reason we're here right now is cause Donnie inputted coordinates of blah blah blah, Mikey razzed his tazz, April finally used her crane license. And Raph's gonna put it all together in a plan to defeat that lead head with this mystic collar."
"Wow, Leo, that's remarkably accurate." Raph was taken aback by it but felt awkward as well."
"You missed one thing, though." Donnie muttered, keeping his head low.
"What?" Leo asked curiously noticing their down expressions but there wasn't time to be given an answer for Shredder had just arrived as Donnie predicted.
"He's back." Raph said, watching the Shredder land piece by piece til it was complete, letting out another roar. "Prepare for Operation: Fire Hanky Tickle Collar!" Raph shouted, each of his brothers reluctant in beginning the plan but doing so anyways til Raph stopped Leo by grabbing his arm, "Leo, you sure you can get that thing on him?"
Leo turned to his older brother with a sincere confident smile, "Trust me."
Raph smiled back with a nod, "I do," before letting go. "Lure him in, Mikey. Flame on!" Raph shouted. With fear in his eyes Mikey did so, the end bursting into flames, grabbing Shredder's attention. "Ok, Donnie, the hanky!"
"Donnie's on it!" Donnie moved in front of Mikey, who huddled into his shell, trembling like a leaf. "One small step for turtle kind!" Donnie shouted to get fired up, smacking Shredder in the face with the handkerchief, blinding him, he flying past the two brothers and thrashing around like the animal he is. While he was doing that Raph slid behind him, bringing out his mystic aura and created a second pair of arms before flying at him, shouting, "Power tickle jitsu!" tickling the beast as it began to giggle. "Leo, now!"
Leo flew overhead, slamming the collar on its neck that send a surge of purple light out of the armor, bringing power back to the city as the armor dropped to the ground, lifeless.
They all hugged each other while cheering at their victory in time for Big Mama to come and retrieve the armor leaving with her entourage after a flirtatious goodbye between her and Splinter.
Now that they were alone, they cheered once more now that the threat was gone for good before dropping to the ground, exhausted and beat. Splinter looked to his family and rolled them up to drop them in the sewers when another portal appeared in front of them, each of the guys and April slowly lifting their heads to see what it was for it to be a slow walking Kara, eyes almost faded completely of life her arm still outstretched to make the portal, the gem completely shattering at this point. Her eyes slowly trailed at her surroundings, her other hand clutching April's jacket before her knees gave in and dropped to the ground.
Leo jumped to his feet, gently picking Kara up, letting out a gasp, his eyes wide in shock at the severe wound on her back, before looking at his dad. Staring with the same amount of shock he nodded and they took their family back home to heal from their battle.
At the Lair, Leafe was carrying a bowl of water to disinfect the bed she had treated Kara in when the turtle group had arrived. She turned to ask them how it went but kept her mouth closed upon seeing their battered and bruised bodies. Figuring she was going to have her hands full she switched to her yokai form but when her eyes landed on Kara, she dropped the bowl in horror, it shattering on contact with the floor before rushing towards them.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Reviews are nice but so are hugs and I will take them both! Til next time!
