Wolfie: I still do not own Yu-Gi-Oh. I only own the idea for Yuki and the changes to the plot that I make in order to successfully add her to the story line. Now this will hopefully be a slow burn type of romance that will hopefully officially start towards the end of Battle City and if it is something you want I will do add on's from the movies Bonds beyond time and The dark side of dimensions. Also I will include the part where Yugi and his friends go to India and get trapped in the Capsule Monsters game because I just love those episodes. Though there will also be filler chapter's so the story isn't all about dueling and saving the wold since I want to be able to focus on the growing relationship between Yuki and Seto as well as the saving the world part. Anyways please read and review.
Chapter 2: Heart of the cards part 2
Early that morning Seto was at Kaiba Corp as he was planning on putting his plan into action rather than going to school that day. Solomon not giving him the card caused the young CEO to have a sort of downward spiral because he doesn't take well to not being given what he wants right when he wants it. He had come up with a plan that was no where near sane as he wanted to get that card no matter the consequences. His little brother Mokuba had seen his brother go into this downward spiral and was concerned about him, as were most of the servants in the Kaiba household. Those that were concerned did not dare speak out of turn and the youngest out of the two Kaiba brothers was concerned. Though he knew that if he did bring up his own concerns that his brother would get mad at him and would tell him to drop the subject.
The only servant that was not concerned was their butler Hobson as the short bald man was extremely sadistic, he had first been Gozaburo Kaiba's butler when they were younger. Then became their butler once Gozaburo was gone as Seto took over the company, and the youngest Kaiba hated Hobson with a passion. He never understood why his brother kept him as their butler after how cruel him and their adopted father were towards them. Said butler was enjoying his master's descent into the dark side and was more than willing to help make sure that whatever plan that Seto came up with works. He would like to continue to keep his job, so kissing up to the boss in order to stay on his good side never did hurt. The young CEO's plan was cruel to say the least as he planned to force Solomon to duel him and the winner would get the loser's rarest card. He was planning on totally destroying the old man in the duel and taking his Blue Eyes for himself whilst breaking his faith in the heart of the cards nonsense that he was talking about yesterday.
"Gentlemen, there's a little something at the game shop I'd like for you to pick up for me." Seto said as his stoic expression was replaced by a sadistic smirk.
"Gladly Master Kaiba." Hobson said with an equally sadistic smirk on his face.
Later that morning a frantic Yuki rushes herself and her little brother to school with a piece of unfinished toast clenched between her teeth. She was up for so long working on incorporating the Blue Eyes card into her deck that she slept later that she should have. Now she was racing against the clock to make sure neither her or her brother were late. So here she is running, dragging her little brother along as the Millennium Puzzle swings and jerks around violently due to it's bearer's running. They got closer and closer to the elementary school which was always the first stop for the heterochromic eyed girl when she is headed to school. Luckily she got Yugi to school on time but she wasn't so lucky as she walked into class late.
Wiping butter and crumbs from her toast off of her face a few students looked at her in shock because she is usually a star student. She has never been late before and is always on time so it was a shock to see the short girl be late for class. The teacher wasn't very happy with Yuki but since this is the first time that the young girl has been late the teacher just let her off with a warning. As the teacher went back to telling the class the morning announcements as the tired holder of the Millennium Puzzle went to her seat. Sitting down she let out the breath she didn't even know she had been holding. Tea, Joey, and Tristan all shared a look for a moment before they all looked at their heterochromic eyed friend in worry. They had never seen her like this, she's usually so neat and tidy and yet by the looks of her disheveled clothing and obvious bed head and tired expression. It seemed like she threw on her uniform last minute and had no time to brush her gravity defying tri colored hair.
When the announcements were done the students were allowed to do what they wanted until it was time for the teacher's to rotate into the next class. Yuki's friends went over to her and got the shorter girls attention as she looked like she was starting to doze off as she looks up at her friends. Tired half lidded eyes looked at the three teens infront of her as she gave them a small smile before yawning. Tea decided to help her tired friend out as she helped straighten out the white button up that she was wearing and the blue uniform jacket. The jacket was supposed to be from the boy's uniform that she was also wearing, pink isn't for every girl and the school knows this. So their fine with the girl's wearing the boy's uniform or just the jacket if that makes them more comfortable, and then Tea got a comb out from her bag. Now the brunette female was standing behind Yuki as she gently runs the comb through the tired girl's star shaped hair in order to get it somewhat under control. As much as her, Joey, and Tristan want to know why their friend was late and so tired and disheveled they decided not to ask her about it right away.
The azure eyed girl finished helping her friend get tidied up just in time to sit back down for the next class that came after homeroom. The teacher that was rotating into the class for this period set her stuff down on the desk as she took a few minutes to get ready to start the class. All while the tired Muto girl started to doze off only for the closest person to her, which was an albino boy named Ryou Bakura who was sort of her friend, lightly nudged her was so she didn't get in trouble with the teacher for falling asleep in class as this process of dozing off and needing to be woken up continued for the rest of the during their free period was where Joey asked Yuki to duel with him again and the blond seemed to be getting the upper hand in the duel. Though this was only due to the fact that Yuki was dozing off whilst looking at her cards and couldn't concentrate due to how tired she is right now.
"Yuki, hey Yuki. Wake up, it's not a real win if I beat you cause your falling asleep." Joey said with a frown as he looks at his best friend in concern.
"Sorry, I didn't get much sleep last night..." Yuki said as she yawned slight and then rubbed sleep from her eyes with her free hand.
"How come Yuki? You've never had sleeping problems before." Tea said with a frown, also concerned for her friend.
"It's just Grandpa gave me a new card and I was to excited to wait until today to incorporate it into my deck." Yuki said as she yawned slightly again and went to make her next move in the duel.
"What card did he give you Yuki?" Joey asked, wondering if it was a cool rare card or just a common card.
"Yea Yuki what card was it? Usually you don't lose sleep over a card." Tristan said with his arms crossed, keeping his promise to pay more attention when she talks about cards and if their rare or not.
"What? Oh, don't worry about it." Yuki said after a bit of confusion since she had been zoning out while looking at her cards.
"Alright. look how about we say this was a draw and call it a day since you look like your gonna pass out at any second." Joey said since he always liked to duel Yuki when she's at her best, plus it's obvious he's gonna lose anyways.
"Okay. Wake me up when it's time to go home..." Yuki mumbled as she barely managed to clean up her deck and put it away before she fell asleep whilst using her school bag as a pillow.
Meanwhile back at the game shop Solomon was taking the chance to do a little bit of cleaning since business had been slow that day but that was to be expected. All of the kids were in school and most adults were at work so they didn't have time to come to the shop to buy games or Duel Monsters cards. Not until after they have gotten home from work or school for the day. Since he didn't expect any customers he was paying more attention to cleaning than the rest of his surroundings as he had his back to the shop door. He was using a cleaning cloth to wipe down the glass counter so that the customers can see the new Duel Monster's cards. They were the ones that he had just got in with the shipment of games that had come in an hour prior to this.
The older member of the Muto family was hoping that today would be uneventful in order to put his granddaughter at ease that nothing would happen to him. Though sometimes even hoping for those sorts of things don't exactly work as he also had suspected that Seto would try something. Most likely in order to try and get the Blue Eyes White Dragon card from him again today despite the fact that he had said no the other day. However even if the young CEO does succeed he will not get his hands on the Blue Eyes White Dragon card since it is safely with Yuki. That is where it will stay because if anyone deserves to have that card be given to them it is his granddaughter. Since he gave it to her last night he has nothing to worry about when it comes to someone trying to get their hands on it.
After all if no one knows that his granddaughter has the card then no one will go after her for it and they will continue to pester him about it since they will still think he's the one who has the rare dragon card. Which is a small price to pay in order to make sure that his granddaughter isn't possibly being pressured into giving up the Blue Eyes card. Outside the shop Hobson and two goons wearing matching suits approach the game shop in order to collect Solomon Muto as they had been ordered to do prior to coming here. They were going to follow out those orders to a T in order to keep their boss content and to keep their boss from firing them.
After all who wants employees who are unable to carry out the simplest of orders such as picking someone up. The door to the shop suddenly opening was what finally brought the short amethyst eyed man out of his thoughts and made him falter in his cleaning. He didn't expect anymore customers yet but he still had to be polite in case the people who had entered his shop just so happened to be some customers. Ones that are coming in here for the first time or if they are one of his usual customer coming back to buy something else.
"Good afternoon. Hmm?" Solomon said and then hummed slightly in question as he turned around and saw who was in the doorway of his shop.
"My Master Seto Kaiba challenges you to a duel. You will come with us now." Hobson said as he took a step forward do he could be standing slightly deeper inside the shop.
"And if I were, to decline?" Solomon asked with his arms folded behind his back as he looks at the three men.
"I'm afraid I must...insist." Hobson said giving Solomon no room to argue with them as he can come willingly or by force.
'Young Kaiba doesn't understand, but I'll teach him a lesson he won't soon forget.' Solomon thought as he grabbed his deck and went with the three men to Kaiba corp.
Later on after that Yuki and her friends were walking to the game shop after picking Yugi up from the elementary school. Well everyone else was walking, Yuki was still a little tired so since Joey wanted to be a good friend he gave his tired friend a piggyback ride. Only for the rest of the walk to the shop which she was grateful for because she looked about ready to fall asleep again while she was walking. The nap during their free period did help but only a little bit though she will need a good nights sleep or a longer nap before she is back to her normal self. She planned on waiting until after it's time to go to bed to catch up on all the sleep she missed last night by adding the Blue Eyes card into her deck after her grandpa gave it to her. When they got to be only a short distance away from the shop Yuki had Joey let her down from the piggyback ride.
She didn't want to worry her grandpa by making him think she's hurt or sick and couldn't walk home because he already worries about her enough as it is. He was getting on in age so she really doesn't want to cause him any unnecessary concern. As the small group of five entered the shop they noticed hoe it was not only empty but unnaturally quiet. There wasn't even a sound that showed that someone was upstairs or that someone was either in the back room or the basement of the shop. Which was strange to say the least since Solomon never just leaves the shop unlocked if he has to go somewhere for an unknown amount of time. This definitely gave Yuki some energy as her, Yugi, and her friends begin to look around and call out to her grandpa to find out where he is. There is no way he'd willingly just leave the shop without locking up or leaving a note and that made the oldest Muto child extremely concerned.
What if someone hurt him or had come here and had forced him to leave the shop? That thought made her think about Seto, about how he was so pissed off at the fact that he couldn't get her grandpa's Blue Eyes card. Now she was scared that the tall brunette had done something to her grandpa while he was alone here in the shop whilst her and Yugi were at school. She was now panicking on the inside instead of panicking on the outside as to not worry her brother or her friends right now. Though she was broken out of he panicky thoughts by the sound of the shops wall phone ringing as Yuki took a moment to take a deep breath to get her nerves under control. She did this because the person on the other end of the phone might possibly be a customer calling to pre-order something. They also could be calling to see if they still have what they want in stock, or to see if they could put something on hold for them.
"Hello, Game shop." Yuki said politely into the phone with a smile on her face as she held back a small yawn. She didn't want the person on the other end of the line thinking that she was already bored with the phone call.
"Ah, Yuki. Perfect." Seto said from his side of the phone call as the voice of the young CEO made Yuki lose her smile as she gasped in shock.
"Kaiba?!" Yuki asked in shock as she wondered why Seto was calling the game shop especially after what happened yesterday.
"Your Grandpa's here visiting but he's not feeling well. Why don't you come by my office and pick him up?" Seto asked and then hung up before Yuki had any time to argue with him.
"Kaiba?! What the hell did you do to him Kaiba?!" Yuki asked practically yelling into the phone but all she got was the dial tone since Seto hung up on her. She growled in frustration as she hung up the phone.
"Yuki, is something wrong?" Yugi asked since he was concerned as to why his big sister was suddenly so mad.
"Yes something is very wrong, we need to get to Kaiba Corp now." Yuki said as she ran outside and started running towards Kaiba Corp.
"Wait Yuki at least explain ta us what's goin' on!" Joey shouted as he ran after his best friend, trying to catch up with her.
"Explanation later! For now just run man!" Yuki shouted back to him over her should as she kept running.
Since Yuki gave them all no explanation all they could do is follow after the shorter girl. Everyone including Yugi just barely managed to keep up with the heterochromic eyed girl. They ran all the way across town towards the Kaiba Corp building as they rushed inside and into the elevator. Once inside the frantic tri colored haired girl was rapidly hitting the top floor button. She was hitting the button so hard her friends and brother thought it may break from the constant harsh and frantic pressing. The elevator ride gave the group of five a moment of rest as they spent it attempting to catch their breath.
When they did the rest of the group had no time to question the bearer of the Millennium Puzzle why she was in such a rush. However the sight they saw when the elevator doors opened answered all of their questions for them. Laying there on the floor groaning and moaning in pain was none other than Solomon Muto as the old man looked like he had seen better days. His skin which had been sun kissed from years of being an archaeologist looked paler and clammy as he was sweating. It took all of the energy that he had left for him to keep himself somewhat conscious. The old man obviously needed medical attention and he was basically denied that and was just left on the floor to suffer until they got there.
The fact that someone did this made their blood boil because how could someone be so cruel as to let an old man lay on the ground suffering? Also why would someone willingly be this heartless rather than calling an ambulance so that he could be taken to a hospital? Yugi was so mad that Seto did this to his Grandpa but he was also scared as he rushed over to the slightly taller male. He didn't want to lose another family member especially since this was the family member that basically raised him and his sister. This was after their mom and dad past away when they were very little though he didn't remember them as much as his sister does.
"Grandpa?" Yugi asked as he whimpered slightly, he didn't want to lose his grandpa.
"Grandpa! Please, say something to us." Yuki said after rushing over and kneeling down next to her brother infront of their grandpa.
"Yuki, I failed. I wanted to teach that boy Kaiba a lesson about the heart of the cards but I lost." Solomon said as he looked up at his granddaughter sadly before letting out another groan of pain as he squeezed his eyes shut.
"Grandpa!" Yuki and Yugi both called out in worry as their grandpa looked to be in really bad condition.
"How's the old man feeling, hmm?" Seto asked from a doorway five feet behind Solomon that was up a small flight of stairs.
"Kaiba you sleaze, what have you done to him?!" Joey asked as he raised up a clenched fist, this was a low blow to do even for someone like Seto.
"We had a duel that's all, with each of us putting up our most valuable card as the prize. Though sadly the duel was just a waist of my time since he wasn't even close to a challenge and did not have his most valuable card." Seto said with not a shred of guilt in his voice as he shrugged slightly.
"You bastard, how could you be so cruel to him?!" Yuki asked as she just kept staring at her hurt grandpa as she felt tears well up in her eyes. He was old and couldn't take this kind of stress, yet Seto still forced him to do this.
"He willingly accepted the duel Yuki, it's not my fault that it was too much stimulation for the old fool." Seto said as he shrugged, still not feeling guilty.
"Kaiba, you should feel ashamed of yourself." Tea said as she pointed a finger towards the unfazed young CEO.
"Well it's not a complete lose though, after all if he didn't have the card... Then that mean's you have it." Seto said having ignored what Tea said as he looked at Yuki.
"So that's what you want then, to take the card by force just because Grandpa wouldn't give it to you? Well news flash you slimy jizznozzel, I am not gonna duel you." Yuki said as she glared at Seto, it enraged her to no end to see that all he cares about is dueling.
"Yuki..." Yugi mumbled with a frown, he doesn't think he's ever seen his sister decline the possibility of dueling someone.
"My Grandpa is more important than some duel." Yuki said because she wasn't going to put him at any more risk just to duel Seto.
"Yuki, take this..." Solomon said weakly as he held out his deck to his enraged granddaughter.
"What? No Grandpa keep your deck, we have to get you to a doctor." Yuki said as she tried to get her grandpa to put his deck away.
"No Yuki. I built this deck, I put my soul into it, and I taught you everything I know. Take them, take my cards and teach him respect. Teach Kaiba respect for the heart of the cards." Solomon said as he insisted that Yuki take his deck and finish what he started.
"No Grandpa, please save your strength. Don't worry about teaching him a lesson, he's not worth it." Yuki said as she wrapped both her hands around his shaking hand that was holding out the deck to her.
"Sounds like your just making excuses for yourself Yuki, or are you just scared that I'll beat you and you'll lose your Grandpa's precious Blue Eyes White Dragon?" Seto asked with a taunting tone to his voice that made Yuki grit her teeth.
"Take him Yuki." Joey said all of a sudden from behind Yuki since he had had enough of this.
"What?" Yuki asked as she looked at Joey over her should in confusion.
"We can take care of Grandpa, Yuki." Yugi said wanting to take away some of his sister's worry about their Grandpa.
"Yug's right Yuki, we'll get Gramp's down to the hospital while you take care of creepy Kaiba. So go ahead and teach that rich spoiled what a real duel is all about." Joey said trying to reassure her that she had nothing to worry about in regards to Solomon getting help.
"For your Grandpa, Yuki." Tea said also trying to urge her friend to accept the duel to get justice for what happened to Solomon.
"I dunno guys..." Yuki said as she trailed off, she's never been over confident about her dueling skills but she's never not been confident about them either.
"Trust me. You're like the best player I've seen, and you've got the Millennium Puzzle. You can do this Yuki, I know you can." Joey said as he was trying to give his best friend the pep talk that she needed.
"We all do." Tea said as she realized what Joey was doing and decided to ad her own words of encouragement into the pep talk.
"Okay, I'll do it..." Yuki said as she looked back at her grandpa and gently pulled the deck from his grip and then slowly stood up.
"I know you will, my sweet girl." Solomon said, happy that his granddaughter would finish what he had started.
"Everyone put your hands together, and I'll mark us with a special sign." Tea said as she drew a sign on the backs of their hands with a magic marker as said sign was just a smiley face.
Yuki, Joey, and Tristan were honestly confused to say the least as to why Tea drew parts of a smiley face on the backs of their hands. That really didn't seem like a special symbol to them but they couldn't help but smile slightly at the fact that it was supposed to be a friendship symbol. One that signified that they would be right there with Yuki while she is dueling. Then they went their separate ways with the female Muto going through the doorway that Seto had been standing in. Everyone else took Solomon downstairs and outside of the building as an ambulance showed up to take them all to the hospital. They quickly relayed how urgent the situation is so that the older male could get check on by a doctor as soon as possible.
This was so they could make sure that nothing to serious or life threatening happened to him during that duel with Seto. However before Joey could climb inside the ambulance alongside Yugi and Tristan, Tea sent him back inside. She did this so he could go cheer their friend on as she duels against Seto because the female brunette knew that their short friend would need the support. She also knew their friend would need all encouragement that she could possibly get whilst she is dueling to avenge her grandpa's what Yuki saw shocked her to no end because what was through that door way was some kind of arena with a big device in the middle that had two platforms on either side. Judging by how Seto was already up on the platform that was the farthest from the door she assumed she had to be up on the second one. She stepped onto the lift that was at the bottom as it took her to the top of her dueling platform.
Once at the top she noticed the dashboard of the platform was designed to be like one half of a dueling mat. Which meant that the other platform had the other half of the dueling mat on it, though she was curious about the field in between the two platforms and about what it is for. She stopped focusing on that though as she looked at Seto who was cross from her as he explained that this was infact a duel arena. For a moment there he was gloating about how he built the stadium before he went on to say that they will each have 2,000 life points and the first to hit zero loses. However Yuki already knew that since that is how duel's generally tend to start so she was tempted to yell at the brunette and tell him that she's not a newbie. At least not when it comes to Duel Monsters and how duels work but she decided against that because she wants to get this over with. Preferably as soon as possible so she can be there at the hospital for her grandpa.
"Are you ready to play, runt?" Seto asked as he was practically sneering at Yuki.
"Play time is over Kaiba." Yuki said as her Millennium Puzzle pulsated and bathed her in a bright light as she transformed.
The transformation was quick and Yuki didn't even notice that it happened as she got slightly taller, she got more mature looking, and gained golden lightning bolts shooting up into some parts of her star shaped hair. As the golden light dies down revealing her new appearance to Seto though her appearance isn't the only thing that changed during the transformation. Her clothes had changed as well as her button up shirt turned into a tight black spaghetti strap tank top, she still had her black belt choker necklace/collar. Her pleated mini skirt had turned into booty shorts, her black knee high socks had become thigh high socks, and her shoes seemed to have merged with her socks. This caused them to sort of became boots rather than being just boots and socks but they retained some aspects of the socks like a lack of zippers or seams.
Whilst the usual appearance Yuki sported screamed cute and adorable this new appearance screamed gorgeous and sexy as she stared at Seto. Said male now had a shocked look on his face as he looked at the new appearance she was sporting as he tried to get his shock under control. He had to because he's supposed to be a stoic cold hearted CEO that does not get shocked easily. Flash displays of theatrics are not supposed to faze him, after all he has a reputation to uphold. If people found out that he got fazed by something as simple as an unexpected transformation then he would be a complete laughingstock. He was never in the mood to have something like that possibly happen to him especially after a duel.
"Now Kaiba, prepare yourself, because it's time to duel!" Yami Yuki said with a confident smirk, her voice sounding more velvety and seductive now as she drew five cards and got ready to duel as Seto did the same.
"Virtual systems ready, so let's begin. I attack with the mighty Hitotsu-Me Giant. Brace yourself, Yuki. You've never dueled like this before." Seto said as he pulled a card from his hand and placed it on a monster space on his dueling dashboard, the space infront of him glowing as a green one eyed giant with sharp teeth appeared as it towered over the field.
"He's brought the monster on the card to life." Yami Yuki said as she looked at the menacing looking monster as it growled, recoiling in shock at this monsters sudden appearance.
"It's my virtual simulator. It creates life like holograms of every duel monster." Seto said, explaining what his stadium actually does.
"So this is how you beat my grandfather. Well now it's my turn. I call on the Winged Dragon, Guardian Of The Fortress!" Yami Yuki said as she placed the card on her dueling dashboard, now even more pissed than before when she found out that this is how her grandpa ended up in such a bad state of health when they arrived, as a sky blue dragon appeared on the field infront of her.
"Wha- monsters?! Real monsters?!" Joey asked in shock as he had arrived just in time to see both of the monsters on the field.
"Fire ball attack!" Yami Yuki said, ordering her monster to attack since the dragon was stronger than the giant as said dragon opened its mouth, letting out its attack as the Hitotsu-Me giant was hit by the fire ball that erupted from the dragon's mouth when the giant suddenly lunged at it as if to attack as it exploded in a bright orange light that caused Seto to shield his eyes from the light.
"Big brother, are you alright?" Mokuba asked as he rushed over to his brother's side of the field, looking up at his older brother in worry as 200 points were deducted from his life points.
Kaiba: 1,800 Yuki: 2,000
"Allright! Go Yuki!" Joey said in excitement at the fact that his friend already got the upper hand of the duel.
"Heh, well played Yuki, for a beginner, but how will you deal with this?" Seto asked as he placed a new card on his now cleared field as a strange looking clown appears on the field.
"Saggi The Dark Clown? But that card has barely any attack strength." Yami Yuki said as she looked at the clown monster with a skeptical look on her face.
"True, your Winged Dragon's attack is 1,400 while my Dark Clown is only 600, but if I combine it with this card-" Seto said as he set down the card that he was going to combine Saggi with as Yami Yuki gasped.
"A magic card!" Yami Yuki said as she realized what kind of card was just put into play by her opponent.
"Exactly- the Negative Energy Generator. It multiplies my monster's attack by 3. Dark Clown, attack with Dark Light!" Seto said with a malicious grin as his monster gains 400 more attack points and then attacks the blue dragon that was infront of it as the dragon was hit by a sphere of black light surrounded by a blue aura and yellow electricity as the dragon spins around like its in a vortex as it fizzles out of existence causing 400 points to be deducted from Yami Yuki's life points.
Kaiba: 1,800 Yuki: 1,600
"As you can see, combining cards can be very effective." Seto said whilst reveling in his small victory which pissed Yami Yuki off because she already knew that and it was insulting for him to assume that she didn't.
'He's good, cocky but good, and he knows every aspect of this game. But my Grandpa put all of his gaming knowledge, his whole heart into assembling this deck. I have to believe that it hold's some secret strategy...' Yami Yuki thought with gritted teeth as she looks across the field to Seto before drawing a new card from her grandpa's deck, frowning as she saw it was just a weak one star card with a leg on it. 'This card is useless, I can't beat the Dark Clown with this. I'll have to use a different monster. In defense mode, the monster will be sacrificed but my overall life points will be spared.' She continued her train of thought as she put the leg card in her hand and placed a monster card from her hand onto the field in defense mode.
"Dark Light attack!" Seto said as he ordered his clown to attack again which it did as the attack hit the face down monster causing it to appear before it suffered the same fate as Winged Dragon did.
"Hang in there, Yuki." Joey said as he banged his fist onto the waist high stone wall that surrounded the floor of the virtual simulator.
Seto then proceeded to have Saggi destroy both of Yami Yuki's next two face down defense monsters as she was now getting frustrated. So far she has not drawn any monster's that were even possibly strong enough to get Saggi off the field. So she was basically backed into a corner and as of yet had no way out of said corner. Though since she has been on the defensive for a total of three turns now her life points are still at 1,600 but she can't play defensive forever. Sooner or later she has to draw a card that will give her back the lead in the duel. She has to so she can finish this duel and get back to her grandpa, the rest of her friends, and her baby brother. Hopefully before they all start to unnecessarily worry about her, she'd feel awful if she made them worry when they didn't need to Joey was already extremely worried for Yami Yuki as he watches her duel.
She was keeping her temper in check, which was strange for the girl who could sometimes be a little spitfire. He could see she was more than a little frustrated she was with herself and her lack of strong cards right all he'd be frustrated too if he was in her shoes, and Seto standing there with a smirk on his face like an egotistical ass probably wasn't heterochromic eyed girl was just trying to win this for her grandpa and she didn't need this unnecessary taunting. The young CEO wasn't even trying to act like a good sport as he took extreme pleasure in treating his opponent and her monsters like dirt. Like they are insignificant bugs that he can completely crush and decimate without any consequences. That obvious fact made the short girl's right eye twitch in annoyance at the situation. Yami Yuki thought that it was very narcissistic of Seto to believe that he has won this duel even though they are only six turns into the duel. Both of their life points are still in the thousands area which means no one has won yet so his cockiness is unnecessary.
"Your not fairing any better than the old man did, Yuki. Your deck is just as weak and feeble as your grandfather." Seto said as he was hoping to get a rise out of Yami Yuki in order to distract her from the duel.
"My Grandpa is a great man and a better duelist than you'll ever be, because he duels with honor and respect. He entrusted me with not only his deck but his most prized card as well, and I can feel his heart in this deck. I doubt you have that kind of faith in your cards Kaiba." Yami Yuki said as she was not about to let Seto smear her grandpa's good name.
"What?" Seto asked whilst looking at Yami Yuki like she has gone completely insane.
"But I believe in my Grandpa's deck... And my faith rewards me with Gaia The Fierce Knight, with a destructive power of 2,300." Yami Yuki said with a smile as she summons the double lance wielding knight atop a purple horse.
"Huh?!" Seto said in shock as Gaia's horse carries its rider towards Saggi as one of the knight's red lances pierces the clown's chest, destroying the monster as 500 points are deducted from the tall brunettes life points.
Kaiba: 1,300 Yuki: 1,600
"Way to go, Yuki!" Joey said as he pumped his fist up into the air.
"Alright Kaiba, your move." Yami Yuki said as she crossed her arms underneath her chest.
"Ha! This'll be over sooner than you think. Hmm. I call on the Blue Eyes White Dragon." Seto said as he placed said card on the field as the dragon in question appears on the field infront of him, towering over Gaia.
"Huh? No way!" Yami Yuki said as she looked up at the dragon in shock, did Seto really have one all this time?
"Surprised? Did you think your grandfather was the only one to posses a Blue Eyes White Dragon?" Seto asked as his dragon raises it's head as a laser of blue energy surrounded by white electricity shoot's from its mouth and hit's Gaia, destroying the knight and his horse in a bright light that made Yami Yuki, Joey, and Mokuba all shield their eyes as 700 point's were taken from the bearer of the Millennium Puzzles life points.
