Wolfie: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh and I only own Yuki. Sorry if the ending of this seemed a bit rushed, I just wanted to show Yuki's reaction because in the episode all we see is Yugi yelling at the TV as he shakes it and that is it. We don't see if anyone comforts him nor do we see if anyone takes Solomon to the hospital, he just sort of ends up there and then Yugi is calmed down by the next episode. So hopefully you enjoy it despite how rushed the ending seemed. Please read and review.

Chapter 5: The gauntlet is thrown part 2

"Greetings, Little Yuki. I am Maximilian Pegasus." Pegasus said since he figured that he should introduce himself incase the girl watching this doesn't know who he is.

"Pegasus?" Joey asked as he was confused as to why that guy was now on his friends TV.

"We just saw him on TV." Tea said, deciding to remind Joey since to her it seemed like the blond had already forgotten about that.

"The famous Maximilian Pegasus sends greetings to my Yuki." Solomon said in disbelief and Yuki would have felt a little hurt at her grandpa's disbelief if she wasn't already feeling disbelief too.

"I have heard some terribly interesting things about you, Yuki." Pegasus said with his remaining eye closed as he smiled.

"What kind of things?" Yuki asked with a frown, wondering what exactly people have been saying about her.

"Your impressive defeat of Seto Kaiba intrigued me so much, I've decided to investigate your amazing dueling skills personally. Right here, right now, we shall hold a special duel. We'll play with a strict time limit of 15 minutes, and when time's up, the player with the highest life points will be the winner. Are you ready?" Pegasus asked as he had his one eye trained solely on Yuki, as if this "recording" of him knew exactly where she was sitting.

"Huh? You gotta be kidding me..." Yuki said as she looked at the image of Pegasus in confusion, there's no way she can actually duel a video.

"Wha- he can't seriously expect you to fight a duel against a videotape?" Joey asked, voicing the question on everyone's minds.

"That's crazy." Tristan said as he couldn't believe someone like Pegasus was saying such crazy things.

"No, it's magic!" Pegasus said without moving his lips as his hair moves, revealing his Millennium eye as it shines.

Suddenly the TV screen began to move like ripples in water when something disturbs the water as everyone behind Yuki gasps and freezes in place. The world around her loses all of its color as it becomes a dark and depressing looking place rather than the nice cozy inviting apartment that it was just a few moments ago. Since she was the only one that could move around she turned her head to look at the new appearance of her surroundings. Feeling extremely creeped out as her home now looks like something out of a horror movie as she shivers slightly since it was actually cold in here now. Much to Yuki's shock it seemed like her friends and Grandpa had moved farther back whilst in their frozen state. Before they were crowded around her and the TV but now they had been moved back as if to make room for someone or something that is going to be here soon. Now she was scared, she didn't know what was about to happen and in her mind she was just screaming that she wanted to be a normal girl with a normal life.

After all normal girls don't get sent videos by crazy rich people who want them to have a Duel Monsters duel with a recording. One that shouldn't be able to do anything other than what is on the recording. All of a sudden here she is getting shown that magic maybe possibly real as she was freaking out. On the inside though because she doesn't want to seem scared and weak whilst wanting this to end. So then she can curl up with a manga under her covers and read until she falls asleep and forgets that this ever happened. Gritting her teeth she looks back at the TV with a mixture of confusion and possible anger. Pegasus's face was still on the monitor as he looked satisfied with his work and seemed to be waiting for her to say something. Which was true because he was raised to be a gentleman and would never be rude in the presence of a woman. Even if said woman was just a young teenager who possible didn't have the same manners as him.

"Damn, everything's gone dark, and when did it get so cold in here? Grr, Pegasus what the fuck did you do?! Why is no one else moving? And where the hell are we?!" Yuki asked as she gave Pegasus a small glare as she rubbed her arms to get some warmth back into them.

"Such foul language for such a young woman." Pegasus said as he chuckled slightly since this was amusing to him.

"Don't give me that shit, only my Grandpa can lecture me about my "foul language", now where are we?" Yuki asked again as she wanted answers and she wanted them now.

"We are no longer in the world you know, but I will return you after our game." Pegasus said as he made his terms for returning her home very clear.

"Fine, you want a game, then I'll give you a game!" Yuki said as her Millennium Puzzle glows as a bright light engulfs her and she transforms just like she did in her duel with Seto. Though she was still in her navy colored skinny jean overalls and black three quarter length sleeved shirt alongside her leather choker collar and puzzle. "Start the clock and make your move, Pegasus." Yami Yuki said as she now had a confident look on her face as she looked at Pegasus.

"Certainly, let's begin." Pegasus said as he gave Yami Yuki a moment to prepare, even though he knew it would do her no good. Yami Yuki got her deck and made sure that all of the cards she wanted were in it. "Even though I consider myself a gentleman, I shall take the first move." Pegasus said as he drew five cards with Yami Yuki doing the same as the timer started.

"Of course you would be the one to take the first move." Yami Yuki said as she rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"No need to be rude my dear. Now then, nervous Yuki-Girl? You should be. You have never face a duelist like me before." Pegasus said as he simply placed a card from his hand face down on the field.

"Heh, you might be good, but Kaiba thought the same thing and look where that got him." Yami Yuki said as she drew a card from her deck and placed it in her hand.

"I assure you I am, and our duel will have a very different outcome from your duel with Kaiba-Boy." Pegasus said as he was just as confident, if not more confident in his skills than Seto was.

"Say what you want Pegasus, but just like with Kaiba, I will beat you because I have people for whom I fight to save." Yami Yuki said as she held up a card that she was about to put into play.

"You won't save anyone with that dragon card." Pegasus said as his Millennium Eye glows from behind his curtain of gray hair that was infront of it.

"How-" Yami Yuki said as she cut herself off out of shook as she glanced at the card that she was about to put into play.

"I told you you've never faced anyone like me before. I know every move you'll make before you can even make it. Knowing every move you'll make gives me a distinct advantage, wouldn't you say?" Pegasus asked as he was partially boasting about his power that allows him to know what moves Yami Yuki will make. He also was partially asking a question along side boasting about his power.

"What do you mean?" Yami Yuki asked as she was wondering if what Pegasus was saying was true. Or if he was just spitting nonsense to make it so she can't win before the time runs out.

"For example I can anticipate your next play and counter it with this Dragon Capture Jar." Pegasus said as he held up the card as it began to glow. A bright white light bursting from the TV a few seconds later.

"Ahh! What's happening now?!" Yami Yuki asked as she shielded her eyes from the bright light.

"It will draw the Koumori Dragon from your card and imprison the beast." Pegasus said as Koumori Dragon suddenly appeared infront of the owner of its card before turning into a plum colored mist as it is sucked into the TV. Then the mist was sucked into the Dragon Capture Jar that Pegasus was holding up once again once the mist had entered the screen of the TV.

"Ugh, so much for trying to finish as soon as possible..." Yami Yuki said softly to herself as she looked at the card that her dragon was currently trapped inside.

"Trapped, never to be played against me. But don't fret, there's still plenty of time for you to try and win!" Pegasus said with sarcasm in his voice which cause Yami Yuki to growl slightly.

'This is just insane. First he figures out that I'd use the Koumori Dragon by claiming to be able to read my mind. Then he brings the monster on the card to life.' Yami Yuki thought to herself as she gritted her teeth at the fact that things are just getting more and more complicated.

"This dark dimension we're in is known as the "Shadow Realm", a mystical place where incredible monsters can be summoned and the impossible is quite possible." Pegasus said as he drew a new card from his deck, deciding to be nice and at least explain where he had taken them for this duel.

"What your telling me can't possibly be true." Yami Yuki said because it can't really be true that they are basically in a different dimension.

"Tell me, Yuki, do you believe there is magic in these cards?" Pegasus asked as he wanted to know what his little opponent believed when it comes to this game.

"Why ask me? You invented this game, therefore if it is magical then you should know the answer to your own question." Yami Yuki said as she looked at her cards and pulled another one from her hand with the intention of playing it.

"What if I told you I didn't?" Pegasus asked, he may be revealing alot but in the end having Yami Yuki know the truth will benefit him greatly.

"What?" Yami Yuki asked in confusion as her eyes widened at this new information.

"In ancient times, the Egyptians called this the Shadow Game. Powerful Pharaoh's would hold mystical duels in other dimensions just as we're doing now, but not with cards. They battled with real monsters and real magic- magical forces so powerful the Egyptians lost control of them and nearly destroyed the entire world." Pegasus said and at one point in time during his story he saw Yami Yuki glance down at her cards when he mentioned it was done with real monsters instead of with cards.

"It's a good story Pegasus, I'm sure it'd make the game even more popular if you decided to publish it as fan fiction, but I highly doubt these monsters are real." Yami Yuki said as she still didn't believe what Pegasus was telling her and was getting annoyed. He was wasting time that could be spent dueling by telling her stupid stories that have no evidence behind them.

"Tell that to my Dragon Piper, as his Flute of Resurrection frees your Koumori Dragon, but puts him under my control." Pegasus said as a strange looking jar-like creature with arms and a flute appears on the field and begins playing a strange sounding tune on it's flute. The strange tune causes the plum mist to rise up from the Dragon Capture Jar card. Then it reforms into the shape of the Koumori Dragon but it was now inside the TV on the other side of the field as it roars.

"Oh no, I have to counterattack before it's too late. Silver Fang!" Yami Yuki said as she put the card into play and a cyan colored wolf appeared and jumped at the TV. At the same time Koumori Dragon's head comes through the TV as it attacks Silver Fang with it's fire attack. Now because of her close proximity to the TV she felt the heat from the attack as well. "Ow! The heat!" Yami Yuki said as she shielded herself from the bright flames, it was so hot that it physically hurt as 500 points was taken from her life points.

Pegasus: 2,000 Yuki: 1,500

"Ha! As you see, Yuki, these monsters are very real, heh heh heh heh heh, and also quite dangerous. Heh heh heh heh heh." Pegasus said with a laugh because this was all extremely amusing to him. Though Yami Yuki wasn't amused, not in the slightest, as she sat there with her resting bitch face that she has had on and off for most of the duel. "Ahh, Yuki-Girl. You really are quite entertaining- the way you scowl and sneer, so defiant and yet helpless and so completely ignorant of the power of your Millennium Puzzle." Pegasus said as he wasn't done with toying with Yami Yuki nor was he done with telling her the information that she needs to know.

"What about my puzzle?" Yami Yuki asked as she wondered what was so important about her puzzle.

"5,000 years ago, a powerful Pharaoh locked the magic of the Shadow Games away." Pegasus said as he has pretty much been giving Yami Yuki a history lesson alongside telling her the story of the Shadow Games and the origin of Duel Monsters.

"That's all fascinating but what does it have to do with me?" Yami Yuki asked as she didn't see the point to talking about this any further if it does not effect her, her friends, or her family in some sort of way.

"The Pharaoh captured these vast magical energies in 7 mystical Millennium Items." Pegasus said which caused Yami Yuki to grit her teeth.

"That doesn't answer my fucking question! Wait... 7 items? Are you honestly saying that my puzzle is one of those items?" Yami Yuki said after a moment of mulling that sentence around in her head.

"Patience Little Yuki. Yes, and there are mystical energies locked within it- magic that could change your life forever if you only knew how to unleash it." Pegasus said as he pointed towards Yami Yuki, though he was done with story telling for now.

"That's great and all that but why are you telling me this? And you still haven't answered my other question." Yami Yuki said as all of this had really pissed her off and made her wished that Pegasus would have just shut up so they could finish the duel.

"Why? Simply because I need you to know, as for your other question, all answers will be reviled in due time." Pegasus said as he drew a new card and then placed it face down on his part of the field. He already had plans waiting in the wings for every card in Yami Yuki's hand thanks to his Millennium Eye. Now all he has to due is wait for her to play right into his trap that ha had just set and then he will have this duel won before she can even bat an eyelash. "But perhaps I have said too much, and since the clock is still ticking, I propose we resume playing our little duel." Pegasus said as he knew that he had wasted time talking.

'He's right, even if time is only running out because he wasted time yammering on and on about Ancient Egypt and Pharaoh's and real magic. Plus I still haven't been able to figure out whether he can really read my mind or if it's some kind of mind trick to psyche me out.' Yami Yuki thought withe gritted teeth as she looks at Pegasus as she was still trying to figure out how he knows what cards she may put into play. The silver haired male soon moved his curtain of hair aside to reveal his Millennium Eye, which allowed him to see that she was going to play a skeletal monster in warrior armor. 'I have to try something that'll give me the upper hand before time runs out. Maybe my Zombie Warrior will do the trick...' Yami Yuki thought as she slowly started to pull that card from her hand so she can put it into play.

"Heh heh heh heh." Pegasus began to chuckle as he knew that she was going to play the Zombie Warrior. He already had the perfect way to send the warrior back to the grave that it crawled out of as soon as it is on the field.

'Wait a minute! He most definitely knows what I'm about to try and do, but how? It has to have something to do with that weird gold eye of his.' Yami Yuki thought to herself as she stared at Pegasus, deep in thought for a moment. She thought back to how he lifted up the hair from infront of his eye and just seemed to know what kind of card she was thinking of using. 'That has to be it, right? That weird golden eye must somehow let him see the cards that I have in my hand. So, in all technicality, no matter which card I pick he already has a way to beat it, but that gives me a real sneaky idea.' Yami Yuki thought as she began to smirk to herself.

"Hurry up, now, Yuki-Girl. Time is running out for you and your friends." Pegasus said as prolonging the inevitable will do his young opponent no good. Whether she makes a move or not does not matter to him for he will win by default when time runs out since he still has more life points than her.

'Pegasus, that pompous asshole, he's expecting me to use the cards in my hand.' Yami Yuki thought as she closed her eyes for a moment as she took a deep breath. She needed to have a clear mind in order for this plan to work and no matter how pissed off she is at the moment she has to keep a cool level head. For the sake of her family and friends safety she can not let this man get the best of her. 'But what if I play a card that I haven't even seen yet? What'll happen if I just draw a new card from the deck without even looking at it.' Yami Yuki thought as she opened her eyes and drew a card from the deck, placing it face down without even checking to see what type of card it may be.

"I already know you plan to play the Zombie Warrior, and I'm already prepared to counter it with a trap card that makes even zombies lie down and play dead." Pegasus said as he flipped over said trap card since he still expected the card to be the Zombie Warrior that his Millennium Eye showed him.

"Close but no cigar, Pegasus. See I figured out your little strategy, you might be able to see the cards I hold in my hand, but you can't see the ones in my deck." Yami Yuki said with a smirk as she believed that she had found a way to be one step ahead of her opponent. At least for the time being though because blindly drawing cards will only get her so far.

"Hmm?" Pegasus hummed in question as his remaining eye narrowed slightly.

"My next card, if fate has been kind enough to give me the kind that I need, is..." Yami Yuki said as she trailed off as she touched the card that she had placed on the field, and then quickly flips it over. She let out the breath she didn't even know she was holding when she saw that it was indeed the type of card that she needed. "The Dark Magician!" Yami Yuki said as she saw the same purple cladded magician that had helped her in her duel against Seto.

"Ooh, a big, scary, Dark Magician." Pegasus said sarcastically with his eye closed as he didn't see what was so great about it, even though he knows it's one of the strongest spell casters in the game.

"Be sarcastic all you want, Pegasus, but my magician will destroy that dragon!" Yami Yuki said as she knew that the Koumori Dragon would do more damage to her own life point's rather than the Dragon Piper would. It compared to the dragon is no match for any of the monsters she has.

"Go right ahead if you think it'll help." Pegasus said as he wasn't bothered by this deceleration of an attack on the Koumori Dragon, infact it was still causing his young opponent to play into his trap.

"Oh I think it'll do more than help. It'll bring you closer to being defeated and will bring me closer to saving my friends and family." Yami Yuki said with a smile as she still believes that her strategy of drawing blindly will help her win.

"If it can do all that, by all means, play it." Pegasus said as it was still no skin off his nose whether or not the Koumori Dragon is destroyed by Yami Yuki's Dark Magician.

"Dark Magician! Dark Magic attack!" Yami Yuki said as the Dark Magician springs forward from the card and hovers above the heterochromic eyed girl, obeying her command as he sends his magic attack towards his target.

"Ahh!" Pegasus yelled as he shielded his eye from the bright light that had surrounded the Koumori Dragon as it shattered into a million pieces. 800 points being deducted from his life points instantly in the process.

Pegasus: 1,200 Yuki: 1,500

"Ha ha ha ha ha! Nicely played, but by using your Dark Magician, you've let me manipulate you once again." Pegasus said revealing that he had a plan that would work regardless if the monster was Dark Magician. Or if it actually was Zombie Warrior like his eye had originally told him it would be.

"Grr." Yami Yuki growled slightly, Pegasus has been lying to her this whole time so why should she believe him now?

"By playing that one card, you have insured my victory." Pegasus said as he was confident in his strategy, after all a good duelist has to have more than one end result for their strategies.

"Tough talk from someone who's life points are lower than mine." Yami Yuki said as for a moment she thought Pegasus was cracking under the pressure of not being able to be in the lead before time runs out.

"We shall see, Yuki. Oh, a very rare card. This is the fearsome Faceless Mage." Pegasus said as he held up the card which contained a yellow skinned humanoid who had a mouth but no face of its own. On its shoulders was the head of a female wooden puppet and the head of a male wooden puppet.

"What? I've never seen a card like that, neither in a duel nor in any card store. But my magician is stronger than your mage and he is one of the strongest cards in the game." Yami Yuki said as she looked at the card in shock and confusion, not knowing what it can do since she's never seen it in action before.

"But how will he fare once I combine my Faceless Mage with the equally rare Eye of Illusion?" Pegasus asked as his monster came out from within its card with a creepy laugh.

"Dark Magician, Dark magic attack!" Yami Yuki said as her magician obeyed her command once again as he sent his magic attack towards his target. The Faceless Mage held up his hands that had a golden glowing eye infront of purple mist infront of it. There was a bright light that cause her to groan and shield her eyes, the light fading as there was smoking blocking her view of the battle field. "Dark Magician!" Yami Yuki said, hoping her magician was okay, but much to her shock and amazement the Faceless Mage was still standing which made no sense to her at all. After all her magician was stronger than the mage by 1,300 attack points which meant that her attack should have destroyed it. Which would have depleted the rest of Pegasus's life points. 'I don't get it, my magician's attack didn't even leave a scratch on it.' Yami Yuki thought as she continued to stare at the battle field in disbelief.

"Heh heh heh heh." Pegasus chuckled to himself as he watched Yami Yuki sit there in disbelief at what had just happened.

"His Faceless Mage should be nothing but shattered pieces by now, yet it's still standing and I'm starting to run out of time..." Yami Yuki said to herself as she tried to figure out what went wrong. What could have caused the mage to still be there after a full force attack from the Dark Magician before glancing at the clock. She had less than five minutes to defeat her opponent's Faceless Mage and save her friends and family from whatever Pegasus may have planned for either her or them. 'I have 300 more life points, but that's only because he has been toying with me and has been trying to push my buttons. I have to find a way to beat him, and fast! But Pegasus know's all kinds of tricks, I just have to trust in my Grandpa's cards and hope they give me a solution as to beat this.' Yami Yuki thought as she placed her hand on her deck and then pulled a new card as she looked at it. She maybe abandoning her drawing blindly strategy with that move but she has no time to have blind faith in her cards right now. "I attack your creepy combo with the Celtic Guardian. This mighty warrior of mine will cut your Faceless Mage into ribbons." Yami Yuki said as she placed her card on the field as a blond elf in green and brown armor with a blue cape appears on the field.

"True, your Guardian is mighty, but you have once again underestimated the incredible power of my Eye of Illusion. Ha ha!" Pegasus said with a laugh as he knew that his young opponent would be too naive to realize the true reason behind why her Dark Magician's attack did not destroy his mage. Even thought they are so clearly out matched in terms of attack power, and she didn't even think to wonder whether or not his Eye of Illusion was still in play.

"No!" Yami Yuki said as she realized what he meant but by then it was far too late for her to stop her attack and come up with a new way to defeat Pegasus's Faceless Mage.

"Dark Magic attack!" Pegasus said as the attack that belonged to Dark Magician came from his side of the field out of nowhere. It hit the Celtic Guardian, causing him to roar as he was destroyed before he could attack the Faceless Mage. This also deducts 1,100 points from Yami Yuki's life points as well as she shielded her eyes from the bright light that came from the aftermath of the attack.

Pegasus: 1,200 Yuki: 400

"Ahh! That's not possible, the Faceless Mage doesn't have a Dark Magic attack... Oh no!" Yami Yuki said as she lowered her arm and opened her eyes as she noticed a shadow near the cackling Faceless Mage. That's when she realized how Pegasus was able to use a Dark Magic attack against her Guardian when his monster doesn't have that type of attack. 'He used my own Dark Magician against me. The Faceless Mage used the Eye of Illusion to place him under Pegasus's control. But if that's true, then what is protecting his mage?' Yami Yuki said as she looked at her magician who's teal green eyes were now lifeless and glazed over as the glowing gold Eye of Illusion was now on his chest.

"Well, Yuki, our time together is nearly up, and as I've more life points than you, it appears I am the victor." Pegasus said a she placed a card face down before he began clapping as he now had both hands free of cards. Unlike his opponent whom had the almost complete hand that she started with when this duel began. There was only ten seconds left on the clock now so he felt like he had no more reason to continue fighting a battle that he had already won.

"The clock hasn't hit zero yet, Pegasus, and you've left your Faceless Mage without any defense against a physical assault." Yami Yuki said as she held up the card that would hopefully win this for her before the time is up.

"Ohh." Pegasus said in annoyance, why can't this girl just realize that she's been beaten and just give up like a good girl?

"Summoned Skull, attack!" Yami Yuki said as she put the card into play as the demonic skull humanoid with bat wings appears from the card and lunges forward to attack. Its attack was just about to hit when the clock hit zero causing all of the monsters to disappear as the timer dinged. This caused her to growl slightly, one second more and her attack would have hit its target and would have won her the duel, if only had she been just a little bit faster.

"Hmm. Well, we've run out of time, but how close was that? If you had been able to complete that attack, I would have lost. But I didn't, did I? I have taken the measure of your talents this day, Yuki Muto, and when we next duel, we shall play for far higher stakes." Pegasus said with a smile as he was more then relieved that his victory had indeed been assured. Though he was giving his young opponent no room to argue with him when it comes to the fact that they will duel again.

"You cheating bastard, I'm done with playing your games." Yami Yuki said as she was not going to put herself or anyone else she cares about in danger for the sake of going along with Pegasus's games.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You presume I'm giving you a choice in the matter, but I'm not..." Pegasus said as he lifted up his hair, revealing his Millennium eye for Yami Yuki to see causing her to gasp. She knew there was something shady about that eye, but she thought that it was just a weird prop that her opponent used during his duels. She really didn't think it was something to worry about. "For I, too, posses one of the 7 Millennium Items- the all powerful Millennium Eye." Pegasus said, revealing the true name of the golden eye that is where his left eye should be.

"A Millennium eye, ew, and you actually had it put in your skull?" Yami Yuki asked as she now felt sick to her stomach as there was no way of knowing if that eye was sanitary or not. Yet Pegasus had it put inside his body without checking to see if it was safe or not?

"That's right, Yuki-Girl, and now I'll show you the true extent of it's magic." Pegasus said as his Millennium Eye glows, reacting to the malicious intent that its bearer had in mind. Suddenly a golden light engulfed the entire TV screen, causing Yami Yuki to shield her eyes from the bright golden light that was coming from the Millennium eye. "You see, I have found that, given the proper incentive, anyone can be made to play my game." Pegasus said as the golden light flew out from the TV and was absorbed by the frozen Solomon. The old man's body shining with a white light as his soul was drawn from his body and into the TV itself.

"Yuki!" Solomon's soul said from within the TV as a picture of Solomon appeared with his hands pressed against the screen. The back ground now static one again as his mouth was open as he called out to a now back to normal Yuki.

"Wha- Grandpa!" Yuki said as she leaned forward, holding onto the sides of the TV as she sees the picture of her grandpa fade away into the static that was coming from the now empty tape.

"Yes, we will duel again, Yuki. How else will you ever reclaim your grandfather's soul?" Pegasus asked as the Shadow Game ends now that it has claimed its victim. The room returning to normal as the three teens and the now soulless body of Solomon are now unfrozen as said man's body falls over.

"Grandpa! Grandpa!" Yuki shouted as she was frantically shaking the TV monitor, hoping that it would spit back out her grandpas soul.

"Yuki?" Joey asked as he lightly touched his friends shoulder, only to have her flinch at the sudden contact as she looks at him. Tears falling from her normally happy and fiery heterochromic eyes.

"Joey..." Yuki said as she trailed off, whimpering slightly as she launched herself at her best friend, hugging him as if letting him go would cause him to disappear.

Joey was shocked to say the least as he steadied himself when he was basically tackled into a hug. He wanted to ask what had caused Yuki to be so distraught, but when he noticed the unconscious Solomon and the TV that was now void of Pegasus answered his question. Quickly he told Tea and Tristan to call an ambulance and then go to the hospital with the older male. Said brunettes did as they were told as they cast sympathetic glances towards their small friend who was currently sobbing into the blonds chest. She sat there in his hold utterly crushed to the point that she couldn't even try to act like everything would be okay incase the yelling had possibly woken up her little brother. Though that is next to impossible because not even an earth quake would be able to wake up Yugi.

It was a miracle that he even wakes up when his alarm for school goes off in the morning, but then again he has his sister to drag him out of bed when that doesn't work. The tall blond looked down at his small friend, the girl he saw as a sister more so than a friend actually, as he wrapped his arms around her. He did this in order to give her the comfort that she so desperately seemed to need as he rubbed her back and petted her gravity defying hair as he let her sob into his chest. Yuki normally wasn't one to break down, after all she has to stay strong for her brothers sake, but right now she just felt so sad and scared. Her grandpa just got taken from her before she could even open her eyes to see what was going on. For all she knew if she's not careful that could happen to someone else in her life that she cares about. She didn't think her heart would be able to handle it if she lost one of her friends or even her brother to that mad man with the Millennium Eye.
